I wish I had got the names but me and my fiancé went there for the BOGO we did get there a bit early but we waited till 4pm with no issue; the ladies who helped us were amazing the ones putting our order together had a smile on her face the whole time and the cashier was awesome. This chipotle is 40 mins out from us but I’d rather take the trip here then ever go back to the ones in Valdosta.
The food is always great! And the manager name Stefan is always lively and bubbly. And the young lady that usually works drive through is always nice and kind. Always a pleasure to come and eat at the Lake City Chipotle.
Went yesterday with my mom and when I tell you the facility was spotless, I mean it was SPOTLESS! The ladies there yesterday 8/26/25 around 1:30 pm where so welcoming and professional. To be fair, all the times I've gone before my experience has been pleasant. I thought I would leave a well deserved review because chipotle has a bad rep with customer service ect. But not this chipotle! Keep doing what you're doing!
I need gluten free food and sometimes chain restaurants are a fable as far as staff being knowledgeable about allergies. Every employee changed their gloves and was AMAZING to avoid cross contact, including opening a fresh cheese and guacamole for me to use. Thank you so much for making it safe for a strict celiac!
Chipotle is my favorite restaurant. I have had varied experiences over the years. This was my first time at this location. The service was good and the food was too. The restrooms were clean, and the utensils were well stocked. The BOGO on salads, bowls, and burritos was a pleasant surprise. Before leaving, I spoke to the managers on duty to commend them on how well this restaurant was run.
We pulled into this Chipotle for dinner after seeing all our options, and knowing this one would be comfort food on the road home. It was clean and looked new, but it’s been here for 3 years. Husband loves Chipotle, but I’ve only been once or twice near home, and have always shared a bowl with Husband. Tonight we each got a chicken burrito. Mine was a little more adventurous as I added queso blanco to his order of rice, beans, chicken and shredded cheese. Michelle took care of us, and she was friendly and quick. We both enjoyed our burritos. They were good! I guess I’ll have to give our local Chipotle a try more often!
Wow!!! I can't get enough of this Chipotle, food has been amazing and the service goes above and beyond. In specific I have to make mention of Paula Griffin she is the Asst. manager but boy does she understand what Chipotle is all about, ask for her when you go in, if not ask for Dakota she is awesome as well. Thank you chipotle staff, you are making the world a better place, one burrito bowl at a time 🤗
I like how you can choose what you want in your burrito or in your bowl. Will fill you up and it taste good too. The drive through has no menu and force you to use mobile app. The mobile app just isnt for me, so I just went inside where you can see the ingredients that they put in your food.
Stopped by here last night for a burrito bowl. Staff was very friendly and service was fast! This Chipotle in Lake City is not usually very busy. The food was pretty good. Meat was flavorful! However the fajita veggies could be cooked a minute or two longer. I don't like to crunch my way through an onion. Oh and the prices are reasonable for this day and age. $13 and 5 minutes later I'm on my way with a big bowl full of yums.
I didn't want to believe the reviews and give chipotle the benefit of doubt. But unfortunately they are true. Don't expect them to have all the items and they won't bother to make more. Service is all business, hurry up and get out. Oh well...
The first Chipotle I have visited, which didn't have meat options other than beef. Additionally, they didn't have onions/ pepper and the server seemed distracted - Not the standard of Chipotle
If you want a late night fairly healthy meal option this would be a good place to go. The service was not great, the freshness of the food was also not great... Even though it was 8 PM. The "veggies option" was literally just onions and peppers. When I asked for a keto bowl, she just looked at me and asked me what I wanted... so I said, no grains, no rice, I wanted veggies and she went off to the side and grabbed another pan that was nearly empty and dumped it in the other nearly empty pan of veggies on the line. I got charged extra for guac and tofu and I got scraps for veggies. It was rather disappointing. Not to mention, this is my first chipotle experience.... I might try it again earlier in the day to see if the food is any fresher and the staff is more pleasant but it wasn't my favorite place to go. If the experience is the same the second time around, I won't go back to this location.
Eat here frequently probably been bout 4 months since I've been here. Menu board has changed. I frequently get the chicken quesadilla. I was told not on the menu and this guy at the line is on break and it's hard for him keep feeding the line. I left with no food and a thank u yall have a nice day. This place is successful because of the brand. I frequently encounter less than average employees here with an attitude. 🤕
The staff looked like they didn't want to be there. The place looked dirty. VERY Disappointed in the portion sizes of what I got. Bowls were ½ full & Burrito was ½ the size compared to other Chipotles. I will not be going back to this location.
Genuinely the WORST location I’ve been to. Staff is rude. I’ve gone in on 3 separate occasions and they never have lettuce. I then asked an employee how they never have lettuce when I come in and she waved her hands at me and gave me this dumb look like I was stupid for asking why they never have lettuce. I don’t know who does the inventory at this store but it’s not done correctly bc i genuinely do not understand how these 3 different trips I’ve made they’re out of something every single time. If I am paying for a service I expect to have everything and not have to stop by the store on my way home for some damn lettuce. This location sucks. Also none of them can roll a burrito either. Everyone needs a refresher on customer service, common courtesy and inventory management. Horrible service everytime. Rude staff. Do better like fr. Yall suck.
If I could give the service zero stars, I would. The woman who waited on us was extremely rude and it took everything in me not to say something to management. The steak was okay, but the chicken was awful as it was extremely overcooked. And the place was filthy for having just opened 20 minutes before we got there. I will definitely never return to this location, and I hope the rude employee was just having a bad day and isn't always like that. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
The customer service at this location was unacceptable. I went through the drive thru to pick up an order that I didn’t personally place, so I didn’t know it was marked for shelf pickup. The employee at the window was extremely rude from the start. She asked for the name, shut the window in my face, then came back and scolded me for using the drive thru instead of going inside. When I tried to explain the misunderstanding, she cut me off, repeated herself with a nasty tone and raised voice in order to talk over me, and slammed the window shut. To make matters worse, the order was missing items. Not only was the interaction disrespectful, but the food wasn’t even fully prepared correctly. This experience was completely unprofessional and very disappointing.
The posted opening time on the door states 10:45 AM. However, the doors were not opened at 10:45 as advertised. When we asked the staff what was going on, we were told they needed to “clear the floor,” but they would not provide a clear answer about how much longer it would take or what time they would actually open. When we asked for an estimated time, they refused to give one and only repeated that they open at 10:45. There was no notice posted on the door explaining any delay. We were left standing outside without communication, not knowing whether to continue waiting or leave. This was extremely frustrating, especially since we had somewhere to be and planned our schedule around the posted opening time. If the store cannot open at the advertised time, customers should at least be given honest communication and a realistic estimate. The lack of transparency and professionalism was disappointing.
TERRIBLE SERVICE. How does a manager not know how long it takes to cook chicken? Don't you cook chicken all day long? I asked how long the wait would be and they said "I don't know" so then I said "I don't mind waiting, would you like me to go to the back of the line?" The manager shrugged their shoulders at me and said "well I don't know how long it's going to take." So since they clearly didn't know what they were doing I left and went to Moe's.
Pathetic experience. I arrived for my 8:50 PM pickup—by 9:05 it still wasn’t ready. Employees just stared like I was invisible. When I finally got my food, both kids’ meals were completely wrong—one had only tortillas, the other was missing chicken entirely. With two autistic kids, planning meals matters, and this felt like a careless joke. Staff stood around confused when I pointed it out. Total incompetence. I used to enjoy Chipotle, but after this, I won’t be back.
Don’t eat here you will lose your appetite The steak is nothing but gross fat! We feel robbed of a good mother daughter dinner experience because we both wanted to barf. The girl making the bowls was pushy and rushing us and there was no one else in the restaurant at the time. The beans were dried and gross. I was a long time customer in Orlando but here…..I’ll go to Moes. These two bowls are trash, a waste of 35 bucks in the economy! Unacceptable!
Moe's Southwest Grill is only 1 block away and much better in this town. Right next door to Fire House sandwich and a Tesla charger station. Also, Panera, Jersey Mike's, Red lobster, Olive Garden, and all other national fast food is within one mile from the interstate highway exit. Food was ice cold as soon as I got back to my car. Also, the manager was standing in front of 50+ bags of cold and stale tortilla chips. I asked if they were all made at 10am opening, and she admitted that it was standard store policy. (The deep fryers were cold and shut down with other cooking pans stacked on top) Because of a Xmas gift card, I showed up in person at 6pm on a Thursday and all the bins for steak, chicken, and, pork were dried and empty. The other bins were low. See pics. Saw one cook slicing a single flank steak which was not enough for my single order of two burritos and they had unused pots and pans covering most of the stove tops and other cooking surfaces. No gloves or masks by the cook handling post-cooked food. The service staff looked at me sideways for suggesting there be meat in the bins before I order and offered to scrape the crusty cheese queso bin for an extra charge. When I declined to take the dried crusty queso, they magically appeared a fresh bin full of queso. I wanted it, but declined because I was unwilling to reward that behavior with additional money. Update: the Corp office asked me to fill out a web form and wouldn't accept more than 1 pic above 750kb (most phones take 5mb pics) Update #2: I needed to zero out the $50 gift card with a 2nd order of two Carne Asada Burritos. I told the staffer to alert me before adding any ingredient which would cost extra. The 2nd thing added was the ToFu and they tried real hard to get me to pay for two proteins. The manager got involved and she tried real hard to convince me to pay more, when I refused to pay more than $12 per burrito, she threw the whole thing in the trash and started anew. I was ok with her choice. Also half the bins of ingredients were empty again, and this time, it was 4pm. I gifted / donated the last 12 cents remaining on the gift card to the manager so that a future customer doesn't have to argue about 12 cents. The manager seemed like she was going to throw the gift card in the trash as soon as I left.
