Simion was incredibly friendly, patient, and hands-on as he helped me choose what to order — especially when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. He took the time to explain the different options, made thoughtful recommendations, and made sure I walked away with a delicious and healthy lunch that I absolutely loved. It’s rare to find someone who truly enjoys helping customers and takes such pride in their work. Simion’s positive attitude and professionalism made my visit one of the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time. Pokeworks is lucky to have him!

I stopped by Pokéworks on Richmond and Wesleyan today, and I’m genuinely so glad I did. I’d been planning to just swing by Salata—usually overpriced and underwhelming—but something told me to try something new. From the moment I walked in, Rayah greeted me with a warmth that immediately set this place apart. She was incredibly knowledgeable about each of the restaurant’s fresh, vibrant ingredients, patiently explaining every base, topping, and sauce. As someone completely new to poké, I felt guided instead of overwhelmed, and her gentle persuasion helped me build what might honestly be the best meal I’ve had all week. Adam, who prepared my bowl, brought the same energy that makes a restaurant feel less like a business and more like a community. He cracked jokes, laughed with me, and somehow managed to turn a stressful, draining day into one that ended with me smiling over salmon and seaweed. His joy in his work was contagious—he made the experience feel human, not transactional. To Rayah and Adam: thank you for not just being kind employees but genuinely good people. It’s rare these days to walk into a place hungry for food and leave feeling full of gratitude. Pokéworks, you’ve earned a new regular.

Usually i order through uber eats, but came in and was served by Rayah. Super sweet , and funny, was very welcoming and gave insight about varied food combinations. Definitely happy about my visit!!

First time eating here. Food was good with tasty flavors, would recommend a mix of their Pokeworks classic and Sriracha Aioli sauce. Service was very friendly and helpful. Moises went above and beyond with service and patience in assisting my picky food choices. I would recommend anyone to come here.

The service at this location was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Moises G in particular made the visit extremely unpleasant. First, when I asked for spicy salmon, there was none available, and instead of offering to make more, he told me, “It’s just salmon with sriracha,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Second, after my bowl was already sauced, I asked if the meat could be torched. He told me it’s supposed to be done beforehand and didn’t offer to remake it or help fix the situation. Lastly, there was only one spam musubi left, and I was told there wouldn’t be any more made for the remaining six hours before closing. The restaurant also wasn’t busy at the time, which made the lack of effort even more disappointing. Overall, the customer service and attitude at this location were extremely poor.

Ordered and paid for to-go online only to find it randomly closed and no way for me to get my money back or my food. Also, wasted a free avocado coupon that I now don’t have access to. If they are closed unexpectedly, then the online ordering needs to be turned off because I was not the only one trying to pick up an online order (2 other people were trying to figure out what to do besides me)
