After winning all the stuffies at Magic Claw Kingdom we decided it was time for some ramen. While the service with Angela was amazing, the ramen was a little bland. Cute little spot if you wanna pop in for a quick bite.

Absolutely loved Toyori Sizzling & Ramen in Chinatown! The food was amazing everything came out fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The sizzling dishes were on point, and the ramen hit the spot. The service really stood out too. Angela was awesome, friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. Great food, great service, great experience. I’ll definitely be back. Five stars without hesitation. 👌

My husband & I were craving ramen after our massages in Chinatown & came here directly after & man oh man am I glad we discovered this place! We were originally going to walk to Mensho next door but the line was out the door so we said what the heck we’ll go here instead. SO GOOD! My husband said it’s hands down the best Ramen he’s ever had, and we have had a lot! Our server Angela was amazing at recommending which menu items being first timers. We both got the Spicy tonkgotsu beef rib & holy moly. It was so uniquely flavorful and omg the meat is to die for. Love the vibe inside too. We will definitely be back!!

I went here on a Monday night and it was a very pleasant experience. There was no wait in the restaurant but parking was full, I had to circle around a few times. It’s in one of the popular strip centers in Chinatown so parking will always be crazy. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The staff was very professional and prompt. I had a young man but he didn’t give his name and a young lady named Angel(?) I think. I ordered the poplar steak (medium rare) with noodles and vegetables. Everything came out SUPER hot and fresh!! The gravy came ON the steak and not on the side so take note of that. I only had water to drink but they gave me some kind of probiotic drink after dinner. Overall it was a 8/10 experience and I WILL be back!

Had an amazing experience here! Angela’s customer service truly stood out. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. She checked in at the right times, offered great recommendations, and genuinely cared that we were enjoying our meal. The ramen 🍜 was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and full of flavor, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and well balanced. You can really tell a lot of care goes into each bowl. Between the outstanding service and the incredible food, this place exceeded expectations. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

I love ramen and I'm very particular about where I get it from. This place is amazing! I highly recommend the Spicy Tonkatsu Beef Rib, the flavor is phenomenal and the spice isn't overwhelming. Our waitress Angela was super nice and helpful. I will definitely be back again.

We drove to chinatown with the hopes of finding some good ramen and, let me tell you, we were pleasantly surprised. Hands down, some of the best ramen I had had in a while! My kid agreed too! The ramen broth was soooo tasty! The appetizers were absolutely delicious too. We left completely satisfied and would definitely come back again. Toyori just made the list to a place we will come back again in the future. I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

My first time coming to this place, I came in blind with no prior knowledge of the place or what it served. We were giving delicious potatoe salad and cucumbers right off the bat with a drink as soon as we were seated. The menu was great and with a good amount of items from vegetarian to multiple meats on a single plate. Our waitress was amazing she took our order and gave us recommendations on how and what to order for the perfect meal. From the dumplings to the steaming plate everything was exceptional. I will be recommending this to all my friends who travel to Houston

The food was quite good, but our waitress was truly exceptional—attentive, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. The Tahini Spinach with Enoki was a burst of flavor: tender, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. The Sweet Chili Chicken Wings were fresh and plump, and we’ll definitely be ordering them again; their texture made it clear they were not frozen wings. We also tried the Beef Short Rib and the Ribeye & Chicken Sizzling plates, which were decent, though not as memorable as the other dishes.

This restaurant has been my number one!! For the last year. The food is amazing and has gotten better with time. They truly care about improving the quality and taste of the food. The service is always wonderful, with recommendations, kind conversations, and quick service. If there’s one place you eat at in china town it’s this. Oh and Deeny (I can’t remember How to spell her name sorry!) is a Great host!! 🫶🏻🫰🏻

Our first time at Toyori and the foods were amazing. I had the Tonkotsu spicy Beef Rib Ramen. The broth was very flavorful and rich and spicy just the right amount. The beef rib was good. My wife had the Unagi donburi bowl. It was delicious. The services were excellent. I highly recommended Toyori over the Michellin rated one a few doors down.

I have always wanted to visit this restaurant ever since I laid eyes on their menu. Delicious ramen? Sizzling plates? Butter beer? YES PLEASE! I decided that this restaurant was going to be the place that I have my birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint at all. Service was great, and we were given some complimentary kimchi and potato salad before our main meals. ♡ Signature Spicy Tantan Ramen. 9/10! Oh my gosh, it was so GOOD! The noodles had the right chewy texture, toppings were plentiful, and the egg was jammy the way I like it. Broth was not too spicy either. It was delicious, creamy, and flavorful. Love it! ♡ Rib-eye and Chicken Combo w/ Signature Toyori Sauce. 8.5/10! When they brought out my boyfriend’s meal, I could smell the Toyori sauce, and it smelled very rich and delicious. After his meal, he had some sauce left over, and ngl I ate it all up. I also took a bite of his chicken, and it was very flavorful. Overall, he enjoyed his meal. Well, I guessed I enjoyed his meal too. ｡ ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ ｡ FINAL VERDICT: I also ordered some butter beer, but sadly, they didn’t have the foam ready at the time, so they only gave me the cream soda which was okay. Despite that, I really enjoyed the food and service. At the end of our meals, they gave us yakult drinks which was very nice. I would 10000% come back to this restaurant.

given that toyori is situated right next to mensho, i feel like people often come in ordering ramen and holding it to the same high standards. to me, that comparison feels a bit unfair. toyori really shines with their sizzling plates, which are clearly their specialty. portions are super generous for the price, and everything feels very affordable. the steak especially is sooo worth it. service was friendly, and we appreciated the small apps and yakult at the end :) the takoyaki was light on the eel sauce and not heavy on the mayo. there was barely any octopus though, which made it a little too doughy, but it was still tasty overall. the ribeye & chicken and the short rib sizzling platters were solid. id heard the meats can be a bit tough, so i asked for them cooked more rare than i usually order, and they came out tender, especially the chicken. the sauce itself was a little bland, though, and we had to add quite a bit of salt. the steak tonkatsu wasn't bad but nothing super memorable. the gyudon was comforting, with lots of fatty brisket marinated in a savory sweet sauce and soft onions. the only downside was that the rice was pretty soaked in oil toward the bottom; it definitely didn't need that much grease. also the miso soup it came with was basically just water... overall, toyori is a good spot if you order the right things, great for a casual, satisfying meal

There was barely any wait time here compared to its competitor Mensho. The ramen broth was unexpectedly rich in flavor considering it was a chicken broth. It was very hearty and paired perfectly with the spicy ground chicken. The fact that they also gave a perfectly cooked chicken thigh on the side of this large ramen bowl should tell you that you are really getting a bang for your buck at this place. I would definitely come here again if I’m just looking for a casual and reliable ramen spot.

Food was pretty good! The service nice but sometimes the servers felt harried coz the place is small and gets filled up pretty quick depending on time of the day. But finding decent parking despite being in a plaza is a horror especially on the weekend. There is a parking garage though. Ramen was very rich and tasty with a nice umami flavor (I’ve had the Spicy Tonkotsu Beef Rib and the Spicy Toripatain Ramen)- would recommend both! The Beef rib was very tender and fall of the bone. The grilled chicken that came with the Toripatain was a little on the dry side. For starters we had the Geso Karaage (squid) which was very yummy and the sauce perfect. The Chili oil Beef dumpling was ok- felt a little under seasoned and bland. The mini Donburi was good but less on the meat and more on the rice. I also tried the Beef Short Rib Steak but was very underwhelmed by it. The beef was over cooked and took forever to chew and the black pepper and mushroom sauce was a little bland. Accompaniment veggies were ok (carrots, corn, brussel sprouts). Would go for the ramen again if I’m in the vicinity.
