A gem of a bar with friendly staff and great party DJ offering Karaoke. Foster's on draught at €3.50 is always good but there's also an extensive range of shots and spirits behind the bar too.

Went to watch the rugby, one Saturday, great atmosphere with the welsh fans, usually a karaoke bar, which was in full swing after the game, loved the location and vibe, great Saturday afternoon and night x

Great craic and atmosphere. Racing on an karaoke in between races for cheltenham. Place was packed. Always a great sign. Drinks were flowing.

We stopped for a cool beer in the afternoon which was served efficiently , then enjoyed drinking this whilst listening to great country and western music.

There is a great vibe in The Rose &Crown. Staff are very welcoming and friendly... there is a great mix on the music! I would definitely recommend that you give it a try... it became my local haunt when I stayed there recently. So give it a go... you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and if you go In via the boys touting outside you will get a free shot... 😉

At first I didn't remember being here. But after 3 coffees and half a pack of Camels I checked my wallet and found a receipt for 17 pints of Estrella and 6 Jack Daniels. After beating up my free loading friend I recalled a wonderful evening of debauchery and consumption. It's one of those places, black holes of alcohol, you walk into and leave in another time zone and season. Do it.

Great place to stop to catch some entertainment along the British strip of Benidorm. Can be hit or miss on time, with some of the acts but get it right and you are in for a lot of fun. Staff are friendly, beer prices are ok. Big screen for the sports.

Great pub but please buy some toilet seats and locks for the ladies!

My mate ordered a Carling which came in a pint glass and I got a Fosters which came in the smaller glass that bars use for local beers.

2 Heineken for €4 during the day so price is OK but beer a bit flat. Would not dismiss it though for a quick pint.

It's an unremarkable place with an okay main strip atmosphere. There's a lot of karaoke going on here but the sound system is terrible. It seems better setup for a regular DJ approach. There are better places to sing within 50 feet. That said I quite liked the music choice between karaoke, it's a bit more 90s than other places. Ymmv. They've got a pool table and a boxing punch machine which is always amusing for the stag parties. It'll likely be a stop on a pub crawl, but groups don't stay too long. The bathrooms are just disgusting. If you're a woman beware they've taken the toilet seats off, the toilet doors don't lock, the place is grim. On top of that the bar staff don't give a damn when men crash into the bathroom while face-timing their mate. He claimed he worked there, but when I told the barmaid, I got the international shrug of not caring less. So we left. It's Benidorm, but this place is very very average.

Expensive for during the day, Kopparberg 5€, would expect to pay that at night with an act on. No locks & no seats in the ladies but at least they were clean. Karaoke guy had a nice voice but it was very quiet, hardly anyone in.

Personally I didn't find it that enjoyable. But if you want to get drunk let loose and talk rubbish with people this might be your place. Find drinks overpriced for what you get. Was offered free shots for coming in, never got them shots. 5 minutes of being here a fight kicks off outside. So I'll avoid in future.

Very disappointed that the drug dealing is allowed to take place was so obvious - it was appreciated that the DJ did have words but didn't make any difference.

Been here a few times this year and last, won't go again though after being served a vodka lemonade with no vodka. Literally watched him go from ice bucket to lemonade dispenser then argued with me when I questioned it.

Had a great night in here previously but last night changed my opinion. I requested Babylon by David Gray which is a great song and I do an excellent version. 20 minutes later the DJ came over to me and said the song was too slow and people will walk out if I do it. I tried to reason with him but he wouldn't have it. Firstly, the song isn't even that slow and secondly he was happy to have anyone murdering Whitney Houston which made me want to walk out. It's a good bar but just be prepared to be knocked back if you have a 00s cult classic song up your sleeve by the DJ. The DJ was also bald.

Wanted to sing, the DJ in charge of the karaoke told me i was behind 12 people before my turn. 2 hours in the establishment and i was never mentioned to come on the stage (i was in there till the last singer). I guess this bar has to be good only if you are an English person. (I was not)

Couple in our 50's first bar we went in it was day time got a beer went for a slash and was followed in by a young fella asking if I wanted to buy Charlie or pills politely declined and left.

Ble slått ned for ingen grunn, gikk alene da jeg plutselig ble slått til i ansiktet bakfra av to vektere. Jeg var edru og de hadde ingen forklaring på hvorfor dette skjedde. Må legges bed for min mening, dette skal ikke være greit.

Our phones were stolen in there. Staff were not bothered and very uninterested. We went in several times and were told different stories each time. One being they didn’t know & then saying we put them on charge and they must of basically disappeared. Phones have been located on find my iPhone in the bar now and have been switched on. Do not recommend unless you want to be robbed.

What a dump! Went to see UB40 tribute band with 4 of our friends, well this was our first time in here and our last... the night started odd OK but the saxophone player from the ub40 band was drunk and belting out his sounds which were out of tune and flat to the karaoke machine music and they were being paid for this (I could have done better myself), couldn't hear the singer who was supposed to be singing (more like mouthing the words) this was like a karaoke singer complete with the words on the TV screens and was playing Madness and no UB40 songs whilst I was in... this was utter crap, not worth me going into and I will NOT be returning ever again.

Service was atrocious. Visited today for lunch and the place was empty with no one there except us. We ordered food and were told a ten minute wait. This sounds good however, after thirty minutes there was no sign of the food, my partner went up to ask how long it would take and was told two minutes as it was already cooking. As they were saying this they were pulling our frozen pizzas out of the freezer. After waiting half an hour and still no food we asked for a refund so we could go else where and was told that they don't do refunds and again that the food was already cooking. Around 5 minutes later the server came to our table with free cokes and admitted to not even putting our food in yet due to forgetting. The place was completely empty and only us sat inside ordering food. Had we been told they had forgotten from the start we wouldn't have minded. After the food finally arrived it was disgusting, the pizza was like cardboard and everything tasted rushed, will not be coming back and I advise to avoid it.
