Caffè San Marco

Went here for coffee and brioches before going up to Citta Alta. We went there a bit of time, just before lunch time, so there was no one else there. The staff was friendly! The ordered two coffees and brioches, and then a juice. Everything was reasonably priced, but the juice seemed fairly expensive (5e). Total was 13e.

Pretty cozy and chill but the prices are a bit high

We went there for breakfast twice during our stay and we felt very welcome both times, even though we struggled with Italian!

Personale gentile, educato e simpatico. Ambiente pulito e ordinato. Toilette pulitissima. Anche per bambini disabili e animali. Brioches ottime. Un cappuccino caldo per iniziare la giornata è ideale.

We popped in here on our way to the funicular, and had a coffee and some pastries. The coffee was nice as too the little pastries and the service was delivered with a warm welcome and smile. Located some way from the tourist trail, this little place is worth calling into. There is seating inside, but we opted to sit outside and with great weather, it was a welcome moment to sit, chat and chill a little.

Spritz for 10€, frozen supermarket pizza for 12€ and 2€ coperto. Made a mistake to expect normal prices from cafe in the residential area, outside of the tourist streets. It was clean and nice staff, but overpriced. And a frozen pizza, really?

rip off, totally overpriced, for 2 small glasses of wine, which was not good, and a small panino we had to pay 27€!!!! Additionally Coperto was calculated twice.

À FUIR ABSOLUMENT Endroit à éviter. Le gérant n’est pas honnête : les prix ne sont pas affichés et il refuse de les donner même après 45 minutes et deux relance pour avoir la carte (qui n’existe sans doute pas puisque c’est à la tête du client). Nous avions commencé par des smoothies que nous avons payé 26€, on le voyait composer le prix comme il voulait sur le terminal de paiement… mais bon trop tard nous avions consommé…

Seriously a glass of wine for 8 euros? After I paid the 47€!!!! Bill for pasta from the microwave and the overpriced wine, the owner invited us for espresso and an espresso frappe. And made us pay for it! After we have already paid for our food. Don’t say you want people to try something and make them pay for it. Very ridiculous and awkward. Biggest scam ever and very disappointing experience!

Don’t go there as a tourist. He warmed up our pasta in a microwave. Overpriced wine glasses. Espresso Frappee for 9€. Nice on the outside, evil on the inside.
