Amazing 10/10 best Indian I’ve had since I was born. I will take my family here every single time I do see them. I would like to thank the entire staff for an experience I will cherish for the rest of my days. 4 dreams you’re are the best thing that’s happened to me in my entire culinary life. The sauce is thick the chicken is melt in your mouth. The pakoras are perfectly fried pillows of magic. Thank you x4!!!

Finally, i can say the best Nepalese restaurant is here in Bay Area. We have been craving for that authentic taste since ages and we went to try 4 dreams. Our experience is amazing; the foods are very different than other places. These foods slaps and were melting on our mouths. The best thing I like about this restaurant is the foods were not overly spiced or overcooked. Chef is a master at his work and all the staffs are friendly and they know what they are doing. I would give them one more star if there was an option. This place is a definite go go...heavily recommend!!!

The food was great. The butter chicken and saag paneer were flavorful and exactly what we wanted. The naan was warm fluffy yet crispy at the bottom. The mango lassi was good pretty standard. Our server was also nice and attentive.

Excellent food! It’s so difficult to find good Nepali/Indian food in the East Bay. Even the most popular restaurants have failed me here. But 4 Dreams is so wholesome and gives almost that ma ke haath ka khana vibes!

My new favorite Indian restaurant in the East Bay. Seems kinda unassuming and I'll admit that I miss the old King Dong that used to be here, but the food was excellent. Chicken Tikka Masala and Salmon Tandoori was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Yummmmm! Ordered my food extra spicy and they absolutely understood the assignment 🔥. Perfect heat level bold, flavorful, and not just ‘spicy for no reason.’ You can tell they don’t hold back when you ask for it hot. If you love real heat, this place delivers.

We are from out of town and decided to try some Nepalese food. When we arrived the restaurant was nearly empty, but there were a few folks gathered. As the evening went on we learned that they were hosting a special event for a Nepalese singer. The restaurant quickly filled and they kept apologizing that it was loud and busy, but we were loving seeing the festivities and celebration. Every dish that we ordered was so flavorful and delicious. You could tell each menu item was specially thought of and perfected. When we left the restaurant we saw a sign outside saying they were closed for a special event. They never made us feel rushed to leave and made sure we had a lovely evening despite hosting a closed event. If you find yourself looking for a great meal in Berkeley I highly recommend 4 Dreams!

Beautiful restaurant & the food is absolutely to die for! 🤤😻I keep coming back weekly, sometimes biweekly. We love the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, veg korma, aloo gobi, garlic naan. Inside the restaurant there is a wonderful calm vibe and the staff go above and beyond to take care of you. Definitely try it out, you will not be disappointed!

I went here yesterday with my friend. I ordered cold Jhol momo and it was amazing. Their tofu chilli is also so good. Service was great as well. Will go back again and definitely recommend this place.

Don't let the modest exterior and interior design throw you off—the food here is worth it! We came here on a Saturday night around 6pm and there were 2-3 other groups there. We started with the chicken sha phaley, and ordered the lamb biryani and saag paneer as our mains. The server was helpful in guiding us on spice levels (mild for the biryani, medium for the saag paneer), and the food came out fairly quickly. I had never had sha phaley before, but it was kind of like a Chinese dumpling filling inside of an empanada shell—in other words, delicious. Both the saag paneer and lamb biryani were solid, and I particularly appreciated the fact that they did not skimp on the amount of paneer and lamb in the mains. The owner (I presume) came out to make sure we were happy with our food, and the server also checked in with us several times to ensure we had everything we needed. They were kind enough to give us some gulab jamun on the house for dessert. We're local in the neighborhood, so we'll definitely be back!

Wow! This place is amazing. My husband and I are visiting from out of town and set out for Indian food tonight. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever tried. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees with sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. The spice level was exactly as we ordered. Service was incredible as well!

If you're in Berkeley, you have to try 4 Dreams. I ordered the Mixed Thukpa and Chicken Momo, and it was the best decision. The momo were perfectly steamed with juicy, flavorful chicken and amazing dipping sauces. The thukpa was a massive bowl of comfort—incredibly savory broth, tender meat, and satisfying noodles. The two dishes paired together are a match made in heaven. Incredibly delicious, generous portions, and great service. I'll be back very soon!

Me and my friend visit this place every saturday. The thali is my favorite and is extremely authentic. Rice, dal, chicken, achar, papad, everything is so good. People are so sweet as well. I hope they never change their recipe and service, I’ve noticed that some Nepali restaurants are good in the beginning but as popularity grows, it often goes down in quality. So far this restaurant has been my fav!! I don’t have enough good words to say.

Tasty food, esp the veggie momo dumplings. Many good vegetarian options. The storefront is a bit dingy, but the intirior is clean and pleasant. Entees ~$16. I will add this place to my restaurant rotation for DT Berkeley.

Just ok. Chicken had a strange texture and mango lassi didn’t have a strong mango flavor despite its bright orange color. Atmosphere not ideal (little chilly and bright white lighting). Entree portions feed one adult.
