Chicken was spicy good . Red beans and rice always like it. Dirty rice was tasty. The jambalaya was to sticky and don't recommend it. First time here in town tried it out for quick lunch.

Hi my experience the floors were very clean the management has allowed the employees charge customers more money without any advertising this restaurant is only about the money and not about the customer service they didn’t give me my full order I didn’t even receive the biscuits with my meal if anyone is reading this post I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you want to be charged extra money to get there paychecks higher but other than that the restaurant was very clean the rest was a unpleasant experience

The food is typical Popeyes food, so, fine. Unfortunately the staff do not deal well with anything beyond the most basic order processing. The person working the register was nice enough and clearly wanted to help but the manager was rude and unhelpful when there was an error in the online ordering system. The shift manager’s boss was equally unhelpful. Both gave non functioning phone numbers.

The Berkeley location Popeye DO NOT HONOR the 3 for $5 three piece chicken deal.my senior mom and myself stood in the line and held up the line for 40 min.with two employees and the shift manager who was not wearing a name tag ,REFUSED to honor the NATIONAL CHICKEN WEEK SPECIAL NOT ONLY WITH US BUT TO OTHER BLACK folks as well.the special can be honored either in person , or on Popeyes.com or by using the Popeyes app.what happened to customers are always right? It's always a problem there with the staff.they even messed up our order and other customers others! My mom and I just had surgery and can't eat spicey food.they gave us extremely hot chicken that we could not eat.

Ordered from the popeyes app a carmel apple cheesecake and shrimp box. On arrival the staff said they do not carry the cheesecake. I asked for a substitution for a similar desert around the same price. The cheesecake was charged 3.79 plus tax, the substitution requested was two strawberry pies priced at 3.59 plus tax. Female manager and staff couldn't do basic math and provide the substitution despite me being out. 25 to .30 cents after tax. The shrimp was cooked with the shell on it as well, making it inedible. Staff is rude and unprofessional and needs math classes.

The staff behavior here is extremely unprofessional and frustrating. No one listens properly, and each staff member gives different and conflicting information, which creates confusion instead of solutions. Clear guidance is lacking despite repeated explanations. Additionally, most of the staff does not speak English and communicates only in Spanish, making it very difficult for English-speaking customers to get help. This poor communication wastes time and reflects badly on management. Immediate improvement in staff training and customer service is required.

Gross and dirty last couple of the the food smelled weird and gave me diarrhea each time. Owner/workers didn’t care when I complained and were rude. Place was filthy. Never going back here again. Popeyes lost another customer for life. Chain has gone to crap w horrible Franchise owners who use obvious old expired product to turn more of a profit

That’s it. I’m done with Popeyes. This locations gave me food poisoning the last 3 times I ate there. I called about an issue with an online order and she hung up on me

I just ordered a T-Mobile Tuesday $1 3 piece tender. They smell aweful, very hard, one bite taste test rendered them trash. It's not even worth one dollar ... I had their chicken sandwich years ago, and it was awesome!

I gave only 1 start for the food, because the service is HORRIBLE!!! Chicken is so expensive, and you has to stick with the menu, they don't do any changes and the worst, you will get only one dressing for the whole meal, and when we asked for more, the employee was rude, and she mocked us. I would rather going to eat something different, in a place where they treat me nicely, we are NOT coming back to deal with these dummies.

Worker was unhelpful and rude when dealing with an online order error. No food, no refund. The food is typically alright but lower quality than other Popeyes locations.

This is probably one of the worst Popeyes locations. The food is always cooked well. But every time I've ordered from this location, the order was wrong. Anytime I've taken a family member to get food here, something in the order was wrong. It feels cleaner than it has in years. But staffs just not attentive to what they're doing. Parking lot is terrible. Better to park on the street and walk up.

Mother's Day, MAY 11, 2025. 4:30 P.M. Purchased a three piece...a breast, a wing, and a leg and side of red beans. One half hour later, projectile vomiting. Every Popeye's has no quality control. They were overbooked here. The chicken was so greasy it was dripping out of the box. I only ate a leg and the red beans. Why can't they get it together? Where's quality control? I give up on Popeye's EVERYWHERE!
