Wow. After being blind-sided by numerous Bay Area culinary disappointments, this place was a prayer answered. We ordered takeout at the counter. The restaurant was clean and cozy. The host/cashier was kind and professional. After placing our order we were invited to sit down while we waited. To our surprise, they brought us water. We had Pad Thai, Duck Fried Rice and the Fresh Rolls. Everything was done right. Do not order any dish here without the Fresh Rolls.The food was incredible and we were so fortunate to have chosen this place. Thank you!!

I haven't been here in years because it's quite far from my home. I've tried many restaurants near me but the food is hit or miss. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food is still as good as it ever was. Pad king and pumpkin curry are delicious. Parking can be very difficult now that the nearby parking lot has gone. I suggest you have someone with you who can run in and grab your food while you drive around the block.

We chose this place because my son wanted Ramen after his football practice. We arrived on the women quickly care of us our food arrived in 5 minutes it tasted so good that we couldn't stop eating it was not loud for a student restaurant .Why am I writing a whole paragraph on this ? I'd I truly recommend this place.

The Crab fried rice and Fried Chicken over Fried Rice were delicious. The service was prompt and helpful and the price isn’t breaking the bank. Would recommend everything on the menu

Great place, great food. We didn’t expect to get our food so quickly, it was really good, and the spices were perfect. We ordered the Pad Kee Moa, Mama Pad Ke Moa (thin noodles), fried chicken, and tofu.

What a fantastic experience! This Thai restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was warm and relaxing, with beautiful Thai artwork and soft, golden lighting that created a perfect dining mood. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and efficient without being overbearing. The food was out of this world! The drunken noodles were the perfect mix of spice and umami, with fresh veggies and tender beef. The papaya salad was crisp and refreshing, and the coconut soup was rich and comforting. Every dish was perfectly executed. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

You know, I spend way too much money here. But for good reason. It’s a place that is consistent, close by to my house and Tom is super friendly and remembers my order. I walk in and she gives me a menu and she looks at me and fires off my order like she already predicted it. Love going here!

Always feels like a home cooked meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I want to try everything but I loved the BBQ chicken and Pad Thai Soon Sen.

Wonderful glass noodle pad Thai with seafood. Service was great as well. Tom yum soup was sour, spicy, warming in cold weather. Portions were huge.

The staff is really nice, the food is fresh and tasty, and I'm glad this place is here now that Bangkok noodle that was down the block closed. Highly recommended!

Our large group of 8 got seated in this small restaurant at 1pm on a Saturday. We ordered food and it didn't take too long to come in general. The calamari appetizer is too small though and that was disappointing. Rest of food is really good and normal quantity. Enjoy!

We were promptly greeted as we entered the door and the food arrived with 10 minutes of being ordered. The waitress was very tentative and would constantly check in to make sure we were satisfied with our dishes. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Decent, although this is the first time I’ve seen ground beef in Pad Kee Mao.

Great place, amazing food. Probably one of the best Thai places in Bay Area, delicious! Customer service is very friendly, food prepared quickly. Only downside: small portions. Didn't fill me up completely, probably a good idea to pay for an extra side when you order. As a side note for desserts - ice cream tasted great but overpriced, $4 for a small cup.

Tried out their fresh rolls late one night after a long day. The peanut sauce usually makes it or breaks it for me and these guys made it pretty well. The cross section looked so good that couldn't help but take a picture. Quick and efficient service.

Update 9/20/25 This was so fire the Thai noodle soup is so good and the water refill is so insane. Flavors have leveled up and service is still top tier. Great establishment in Berkeley. Water refill is as top tier as before but WOW the chef went through an anime training arc cuz the food was FIREEEEE. One year ago was good but today it’s delectable and exquisite. Food is good but standard level of good Insane speedy water refill service Bathroom is in the kitchen ?? You will never get thirsty here the service is v good and food is good tooooo

foods are ok! Recommend the mango rice! Not as good as Un-Yang-Kor-Dai Singapore, which we regard as top Thai food. But still ok, because we are not in Asia right?😄😄

We ordered a few items from the chef's special and found that they were okay and lacked a little bit of flavor, but at least they were filling. However, I do not recommend the fried ice cream or the fresh rolls, I personally didn't like them very much.

My friend and I tried their papaya salad, pad kee moa, shrimp noodle soup, roti with yellow curry, and Thai iced tea. The thai iced tea was pretty good. The roti was light, and the yellow curry was sweet. It was delicious, and I could have gone for another round. The shrimp noodle soup broth was sweet and sour. The serving size of the noodle soup was very generous. The papaya salad was okay. Pad kee moa was okay. The flavors were there, but I wish there was more meat than the veggies. The veggies overpowered the rest of the dish. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive and nice. Overall, it was a good experience.

We ordered the peanut sauce noodles and pad Thai. Both were ok but under seasoned and not the best. The peanut sauce was especially disappointing. The staff are super nice though! Overall ok.

Very creamy and many seasoning sauces are provided yet portion is tiny. Also tiny service but charged 18% service.

Too spicy, bad customer service. I’ve eaten here many times and enjoyed it, but my most recent order was too spicy (ordered mild and medium, as usual, but both were inedible). I was so embarrassed to say something, but after a few bites asked if it could be remade. I was rudely told no. After this experience I will not be returning :(

Most of the utensils they brought to the tables were dirty. We had to ask for replacement multiple times. Food was tasty, but the cleanliness is in concern. Also, they failed to provide adequate drinking water. You can choose from cold tap water or hot tap water, which is advised to not be taken into the human body. Staff very rude. Very very rude. Noisy place with awful music. Overall, dinging in this place is unpleasant to its extreme.

Overpriced for the portion size. There is NO Kid's Menu. Ordered a KID'S sized Massaman Curry, mentioned kid's size on more than one occasion...small portion so no one thought anything. When the check came...$15.95!? We asked and were told there is only one price with meat. They did not apologize and correct it for us. So we WILL not be back. There are better places with bigger portions & better prices. My husband is too nice and still gave a tip. Thankfully not even 10%.
