The Noodle Berkeley Reviews
With a kitchen that's operating with the precision of a clock, the noodle Thai restaurant serves combo noodle plates and more packed with flavor all for low prices. The staff is really nice, the food is fresh and tasty, and I'm glad this place is here now that Bangkok noodle that was down the block closed. Highly recommended!
Our large group of 8 got seated in this small restaurant at 1pm on a Saturday. We ordered food and it didn't take too long to come in general. The calamari appetizer is too small though and that was disappointing. Rest of food is really good and normal quantity. Enjoy!
I’ve been a loyal customer of this place since way back in 2008, when it was still called Thai Noodle before it got a name (and maybe ownership) makeover as The Noodle Thai Restaurant. The flavors? Just as delicious as ever, maybe even better!
One of the better Thai spots in the city imo and that’s saying something because there’s quite a lot of Thai options! Good food and presentation. Definitely recommend the fresh rolls. Relatively affordable.
Just the absolute prettiest presentation of mango & sticky rice I’ve ever seen, and delicious.
One of the best Thai Place that is delicious, quick, yet easy on the pocket. Lots of Vegan options. Highly recommend
Food are delicious and are cooked in an authentic Thai style by Thai workers. The service is good and they Restaurent is busy . You can find parking by waking a few minutes towards west .
Nice little hole in the wall right next to the university. The broth for the noodles ordered were perfectly seasoned. We were promptly greeted as we entered the door and the food arrived with 10 minutes of being ordered. The waitress was very tentative and would constantly check in to make sure we were satisfied with our dishes. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

The Crab fried rice and Fried Chicken over Fried Rice were delicious. The service was prompt and helpful and the price isn’t breaking the bank. Would recommend everything on the menu
Between bites and casual chatter, a sudden clarity washed over the moment, as if the world rearranged itself in a quiet, invisible way. The clinking of silverware and the warmth of shared food became a backdrop to something deeper—an understanding that felt both obvious and brand new. It was the kind of realization that settles in your chest, leaving you both lighter and more grounded. Lunch continued, but nothing felt quite the same afterward.
So good. Recommend the crab fried rice and the massan gai curry. Food is super flavorful and rich and savory and even the thai iced tea taste yummy. Def the best thai restaurant in town
This is THE SPOT to get THE NOODLE. I wanna pad see you at the noodle sometime. We got the pad see ew and the yellow curry (GAS). Service was excellent (PHENOMENAL). We were very intrigued by the red and green syrup on the drinks menu, and asked our courteous waiter for more info. He described the drink to us. We were satisfied with the information. Thank you so much. Goodnight and happy holidays. Pad see you soon.

Nice little eatery, ordered a rice dish. Just no frills Thai food, would come again, they have a bit more spice and less vinegar than Imm
mama pad ke mao is so so tasty i love it :) service is also great! love this place, and the rewards are great too.
Tried out their fresh rolls late one night after a long day. The peanut sauce usually makes it or breaks it for me and these guys made it pretty well. The cross section looked so good that couldn't help but take a picture. Quick and efficient service.
Update 9/20/25 This was so fire the Thai noodle soup is so good and the water refill is so insane. Flavors have leveled up and service is still top tier. Great establishment in Berkeley. Water refill is as top tier as before but WOW the chef went through an anime training arc cuz the food was FIREEEEE. One year ago was good but today it’s delectable and exquisite. Food is good but standard level of good Insane speedy water refill service Bathroom is in the kitchen ?? You will never get thirsty here the service is v good and food is good tooooo
foods are ok! Recommend the mango rice! Not as good as Un-Yang-Kor-Dai Singapore, which we regard as top Thai food. But still ok, because we are not in Asia right?😄😄
Another Thai restaurant that despite their name, serves more than noodles. Their food is well-portioned, but their menu might be too comprehensive. We ordered a few items from the chef's special and found that they were okay and lacked a little bit of flavor, but at least they were filling. The staff are friendly and the food is prepared in a timely manner.
If you want great Pad Thai, definitely head to The Noodle! It has become my go-to for Thai food, take-out and dine in. The service here is great and attentive. The food is fast and delicious. Great portion sizes, and reasonable prices. I recommend the Pad Thai and the Lord of Noodles. However, I do not recommend the fried ice cream or the fresh rolls, I personally didn't like them very much.
My friend and I tried their papaya salad, pad kee moa, shrimp noodle soup, roti with yellow curry, and Thai iced tea. The thai iced tea was pretty good. The roti was light, and the yellow curry was sweet. It was delicious, and I could have gone for another round. The shrimp noodle soup broth was sweet and sour. The serving size of the noodle soup was very generous. The papaya salad was okay. Pad kee moa was okay. The flavors were there, but I wish there was more meat than the veggies. The veggies overpowered the rest of the dish. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive and nice. Overall, it was a good experience.

Pretty unusual to not like Thai food. One dish was good - the eggplant and tofu rice plate. The tom yum soup had a lot of vegetables but no flavor. The noodle dish was almost non edible. We were so hungry we tried but failed to eat it. It was soupy and had a slimy texture, nothing like the rad na we have had elsewhere.

The service is hurried up. Don't admit customera after 8:30 pm if you can't serve. Then asking for 18 percent. Just not worth it. The quantity for green curry was just so low, not sure if they just gave us actual portion or leftovers. Too costly.
