Beautiful perfect cafe in a cool spot. Very popular and busy on a weekend. The line was out the door and I can see why. The menu has a wide offering of breakfast options and baked goods like muffins and bagels. The brownies looked fantastic. We ended up getting an Americano, blackberry lemonade, Chinese lettuce wraps, and the breakfast burrito. The food was excellent, the burrito was amazing. The lettuce wraps were very fresh. If I was closer I’d be here all the time
This place was poppin! The line was out the door and down the street - we waited for ~20 min. This helps when you're waiting for a table to open up since you order at the front, grab a number, and get the food brought out to you. We ordered the Tuna Lettuce Wraps - really fresh butter lettuce and delicious tuna, Breakfast Burrito - can't go wrong with this, and Breakfast Sandwich - classic breakfast sando. Everything we ordered was so delicious and they just make simple food so good here. I def recommend this spot when you have some time to wait in line and not in a rush.
Truly one of the best spots for breakfast, lunch, or to just grab some coffee, matcha, or tea. Albie here is always so kind. He is so courteous and his energy make every visit special. Highly recommend their Ginger Lemonade Tea and Chicken Salad, and their breakfast burritos are also amazing. They have a lot of of indoor and outdoor seating too. Love Croft!
Always excellent food. Great staff that’s been there since their humble beginnings off Melrose place. The chef truly has these recipes down and the quality of the food is consistently delicious. Have been coming for almost 10 years, and will continue to come for my favorite French scramble breakfast with yogurt/berries. Yummy!
How this place doesn’t have 5 stars is a mystery to me. Every single piece of my meal was impeccable - the breakfast sandwich, the pastry, the drinks - absolute perfection. I just loved the aesthetic both inside and outside the restaurant. The woman at the counter was very sweet, answering my question and giving recommendations about the best way to enjoy the pastry… she was right.
Breakfast burrito was amazing and the fries were wonderful so delicious!
10/10 recommend! Service was spectacular and the food was delicious. The portions are huge and being able to eat outside in the beautiful weather was definitely a plus. I had the avocado toast and an oatmilk latte and I have to say that was one of the best avocado toast I’ve had! We also had the patty melt. Very juicy.
Love the vibe here. One of my favorite places in LA. Service is really good. The yogurt with chlorophyll is really good. A good time to go is 11 am for brunch or you can take out food from here. The turmeric ginger lemonade was really tasty! Highly recommended if you visit LA.

The staff were amazing, super friendly, and the brunch was seriously yummy!
Croft Alley is a staple must here in Beverly Hills, prime West Hollywood! It’s casual counter service! Interior is beautiful it’s rustic in a good way, it gives a home away from home take for the interior, Lovely outdoor seating! The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and our food came out amazing and definitely a bang for your buck! Bring friends for casual lunches and brunches! But definitely coming back to try the whole menu!

Excellent lunch. Even more excellent service. Food is great, prices are nice. Will come back.
All good, food tastes great, service is great for a “self serve” Great bathrooms, eclectic furniture. As other reviews said great for people watching in Beverly Hills on Brighton . Very high priced for the type of food it is. Alex is a rockstar Beverly Hills - great outdoor seating on a warm day . Nice indoor when it’s cooler or cold. The hamburger is best, the chicken sandwich is very good too Beware!!! ***the Food is definitely short on the protein *** Especially based on price. Almost negligible check on the chicken sandwich. A lot of lettuce/ cabbage for a sandwich.. needs more chicken.
Good lunch spot with a pleasant service and atmosphere. we had the Tuna melt and Patty melt. Both very nice - although as a previous poster mentioned any bill above 50dollars gets a gratuity of 18% added which is annoying. That being said the food and atmosphere is great.
baristas and servers here were so nice. breakfast burrito here was good and simple - no added taste or anything, sauce was good too. idk about their matcha tho.

I’ve visited Croft Alley a few times. The first time (not on a weekend), the breakfast burrito was amazing, especially the hash browns, which really stood out. My second and third visits were still good, just not as special, and I wish the hash browns were more noticeable like the first time. The matcha is fine, not the best in LA, but I’d have it if I was nearby. Service was also more attentive during my first visit compared to the weekend visits. I’ll definitely tell them to focus on the hash browns and burritos next time I come.

Expensive - on par with Beverly hills prices but it's a nice space and the French scramble was delicious with the most delish toast. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE MANDATORY 18% TIP THAT THEY SAY IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, especially for a not full service restaurant. CROFT IS CRAFTY! Hence the 3 stars.
The food was tasty, but my sandwich was a bit too oily. We also had to wait for a table, and it wasn’t cleaned properly when we were seated.
Don’t quite get the hype of this place. I tried their spicy tuna bowl and their Chinese chicken salad - nothing to rave about. Also, their matcha (I tried their horchata one) was ok, but nothing special. Maybe I was an off day, or I haven’t tried the right items…
I sat next to friendly people but found the food meh. I got the spicy tuna salad, a mimosa, coffee, and cookie. Upwards of $55. The cookie was bomb tho.

Unfortunately I arrived 25min before closing, so the team was busy. I sat down at the counter to have a simple moment to drink a chai, but service was terrible + No wifi. Chai was decent but I expect it to drink it in a mug cup not a disposable to-go cup.
Honestly , food is Average ! Yes you can people watch and it’s in the heart of BH. But that is it. Had breakfast burrito , fries , crispy rice w tuna and 2 drinks …. Nearly $80 - which is about right for LA these days - but what I don’t appreciate is the 18% til they FORCE on your bill - What services am I paying for ?? 18% ?? Awful - If you are spending more than $50 here , break up your bill to become less than $50 so they don’t charge you $18% … so tired of businesses trying to SCAM their customers to make up for high costs of today Living in Los Angeles, I am paying above and beyond for just breathing here - You don’t have to add to it ! This is such a turn off and I will never return here EVER!!!
The wait is really long. They have no organization to make things easier on the crowd they get. You walk up, tables and chairs are literally 5 inches from where the lines goes through. They have only one size of coffee. After you wait in line and get a number, they add a tip automatically! Not a low amount either. For a walk up.amd place your order. There is no place on the tablet for you to choose another amount bit there is a place for you to add more! I frankly do not go to places that automatically charge you a "tip". Especially not full service restaurants. So let's call it a surcharge cause a tip.is voluntary.

Less than pleasant dining experience. Ordered the turkey lettuce wraps. The turkey arrived burnt to a crisp, which is actually toxic for the body. I politely reordered the turkey lettuce wraps, bit into one and it was raw. Apparently the food manager was in house but I was never recognized after bringing the issue to the front counter. Got my refund and won’t be returning.

1 had a terrible experience at this coffee shop. The service was extremely slow, taking 15 minutes to deliver a coffee to the table. I ordered a regular latte with almond milk, which cost $7.66—a ridiculously high price. To make matters worse, the coffee was burned and tasted awful. I’m surprised this place is so busy. This was my first and last visit, and I do not recommend it. If you want good service and quality coffee, avoid this place.
