Really good place for brunch. They're really good about letting you have a dog in their outdoor patio. Their cocktails are alright as they just soju for many of them so a break from the usual mimosas. The food is really good.
I love the service, food, design, vibe and concept of The Great Room. The owners have let no detail go. For instance, they use a hypoallergenic ink for the kids' handstamp which allows them entry into their little kid or big kid playroom. Currently two hours entry fot the playroom is $10 and $8 for each additional sibling. My eight year old daughter has a blast each time we go. She loves their kid's meal made with high integrity ingredients. I love their farmer's market salad eaten while chilling on one of their couches. Perdect A + grade!
So happy to find this cozy neighborhood type of a cafe.it wasn't too crowded they have many options of coffee bean none dairy, caf, decaf. The waiter was very friendly and professional. you have the option to have your coffee to go or in a mug they also seem to have amazing dishes which I will be posting more after I try them out!
Excellent spot for eating with kids! Menu worked for everyone. The place was very busy with regular business and a party and the small staff did excellent. I worked in the service industry for 10+ years and I was very impressed with the 3 FOH staff handling everything.
Stumbled on this place randomly one Saturday morning with my wife. The food and drinks were great. There is standard cafe seating along with very comfy couches and tables. Toward the back there is a toddler play area with toys, books, and a play structure. Across the hall is a room with TV's and video games for bigger kids. I'll definitely be coming back here with my daughter to let her run around and get some energy out.
I took a salad to go. Good portions. Our group met there. You can reserve an area if you want to gather.
We stopped here to watch the Superbowl game. We got a couch and coffee table, very comfortable. The big screen TV wasrigjt in front of us and we enjoyed the game. I ordered the dark hemp beer and it was fantastic, not too hoppy, very smooth. We also got the chicken BBQ pizza. They did a great job with the pizza. I would highly recommend this place for food and a beer.
Although 'The Great Room' is fairly large, it glows with the intimacy and vibe of a small coffee house. Beginning with a warm and friendly greeting, all the way through clean up by the bussing staff, we were treated as old friends.
The Great Room was a very cool location. The kids played in the rooms until food was ready and then again after dinner. We were able to enjoy a relaxed dinner with family while they played. Great selection of food and drinks. I highly recommend it for families!
Stopped in to check this place out and grab some breakfast. There is a children's play room that is $10/flat fee. There are lots of toys and my daughter seemed entertained while we ate. Across the hallway is another room, that I assume is for older children, as it appeared to be a gaming room. I opted for the breakfast burrito, which was pretty good. Got my daughter a muffin which was amazing. We'll definitely be back!
This place is exceptional I would highly recommend to everyone to visit and see for yourself. The employees are very courteous, professional. Selina is a delivery driver and is an exceptional employee. They do great things, so support them by stopping by and saying hi. Don't forget to grab something to eat.
It is always important to me that the service is awesome because sometimes that just Shadows everything else but this place the staff is amazing the food is fantastic the atmosphere is on point so relaxing I have nothing nothing bad to say about this place it is amazing you should try it out just go there for self-care alone
We were looking for a place to eat breakfast after landing at LAX on a Sunday morning and The Great Room Cafe is amazing! Service 5-stars, food quality 5-stars, cleanliness 5 stars. They were more than happy to accomodate a request due to a food allergy. Thankful we found the Great Room Cafe!
Terrific friendly service and an amazing brunch. We had brunch here on a weekday mid-morning, on our way to the airport from Anaheim. In particular, I recommend the scrambles, which were loaded with veggies and meat. This also ended up being a perfect spot because one of the people in our group had to take a work meeting while we ate. He was going to VC in the car, but TGR actually has conference rooms and other small seating areas perfect for meetings or email. Really couldn't have found a better spot for us. Thanks, The Great Room!
Above and Beyond great service @ the Great Room Cafe. Thanks to Gael and Anahi. We will def be back next time we are in town! My wife and I fell in love with this place. The food is AMAZING! We had the breakfast burrito served up with some mimosas!
Such a great local gem!
Mom & Aunt don't eat meat today (Lenten season) so I stopped off at TGR and ordered their vegetarian Udon Noodles and Spinach Pesto Pasta. Both were delicious and a hit with both golden girls.
Did a nearby search for some breakfast. And this gem was near. I must say the breakfast burrito with a side of hashbrowns.. DEFINITELY hit the spot. It was very fresh and you could taste every ingredient in the burrito. That atmosphere was like lounge and relaxing. If you’re in the area stop by. You’ll enjoy it.
This is a very chill place. You place your order, go find a place to sit and they bring your food to you. My finicky 85-year old mom and I ordered their deliciously juicy California burger on a soft brioche bun with plenty of avocado and yum-o-licious Chipotle aioli -- and we both wolfed down our dinner. I don't think I've ever had anything I did not like at The Great Room. It's also a frequently used venue for special occasions because they have a lovely back area set-up for events. And staff are super friendly and appropriately attentive. 5 Plus Stars!
Best vegetable and egg scramble I've ever had, and I've ordered omelets and scrambles for years. Vegetable variety and mushrooms plus the right cheese -- and something I can't put my finger on...secret flavor. Get it with their whole grain toast. Guaranteed scrumptious!
Friendly people, great coffee and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Great food, nice staff, good games
Great customer service and food is good.
Happy hour and dodgers game ! While eating good food
It was my granddaughters birthday party today and her mother had her party here. We came from northern California and i was very impressed with the set up, the owners, as well as the employee's. Very friendly and nice! Wish i lived closer to enjoy the atmosphere and the food! Great variety of food and drinks, as well as plenty of parking.
Cafe that has nice size rooms for meetings and small events. Breakfast food is great, even for the healthy eaters.😁 Try the steak and eggs protein scramble, delicious.
Amazing option for breakfast (and more) in the South Bay. One of the best Avocado Toast I’ve tried, that’s for sure. The place is gorgeous and cozy, lots of sofas, etc, much more than any other place around here. It even has fabulous separate spaces for kids to play and hang (requires extra pay). I’ll be back often.
Great place for breakfast and lunch. Food is delicious and they have many options. Shout out to the young waiter who was working the floor. They also have a play room for the kids . The blonde kid who was serving was great I just felt bad my kid spilled milk 🥛 It seems like the manager has a power trip with the kid 🥹👎📚
I walked here from my mechanic's, hankering for breakfast and coffee, and I was not disappointed. The pancakes are fluffy and huge (a great value for your money) and the dalgona coffee is delicious. The waitress recommended it iced, and she was absolutely right -- iced is amazing. If you're a creamy coffee lover, I'd highly recommend it! The service at the cafe was top notch, super friendly staff, and very speedy delivery. The atmosphere is nice and cozy as well, with lots of spacious seating! I'll definitely be coming back here!
I love this place 😊… cozy and warm, have variety of food! I always go for scrambled eggs. The staffs are very friendly and nice!! They re-opened again which I am very excited. I hope you have a good business!
Burger 8/10 My favorite things about this place are the drinks they aren’t too sweet it’s perfect but the foods good too they just need some sauce
Boyfriend and I had enough leftovers so finding this gem was great. After watching Parks and Rec we had a craving for waffles and this place did not disappoint. The coffee was great. The breakfast sausage were boiled not grilled so the taste was new but juicy nonetheless. The waffles were sweet and light.
Great service, nice food, reasonable price, spacious, healthy choices.. good place to eat!
Came here and I was a little skeptical because the place was completely empty, checked the menu and it had a great variety of options, decided to go with the strawberry avocado spinach and the capresse sandwich, they also have a great selection of wines and beer, food came to the table and I was surprised by the fresh look of the food, it was really good 👍, so flavorful and delicious, I'll definitely come back and try something different.
Love the idea of the place - cafe and playroom from kids. However, the playroom is for kids 5 years and up. Food is decent but pricing is amazing, reasonably priced. For example, smoothie is $5 and coffee is $3. The interior is a bit dark and not kid friendly. Yet, love the comfortable couches around the place.
Great food! A little warm on the inside. Sad they are closing in a few days. Despite that, staff was very pleasant and brought drinks/food/condiments to the table. Best of luck to the staff and owners!
Came here for a baby shower and was able to enjoy this place with some great service and entertainment that they provide. They have their own parking lot, so when you park it should be quite easy to get inside. Once you go inside, you are immersed in an open room with different parts that is separated for ordering, dining, and lounging. If you go further inside, they have additional rooms that is an activity room for kids, and another room that is for people to host parties. Food I was able to try some of the food that came with the party, the fried chicken, the pasta stood out to me. It was nice that they had juice, soda, utensils and all the food ready for the guests to enjoy. Just wish that their plates weren’t so flimsy. Activity Room This room had so many things, ping pong table, to computers to play video games, to a huge connect 4, to even small arcade machines to play classic games like street fighter. There was just a few devices that wasn’t working. Like I mentioned the staff were really nice, and I really don’t have anything to complain about this place. They also had a bit of an outside but I wasn’t able to experience that. If only a place like this exists towards San Bernardino. Until next time!
Update: they closed in June 2025 then opened again! Now with minimums/time limits cause there may have been too many puzzles and board games before and not enough purchases Old review from ~2023?: Very chill place with half couches and half tables and booths over two large rooms as well as outdoor seating (has heaters, hasn't been cold enough to be on yet). We have come a couple times to read, work and play board games. We've also seen other parties play board games here. The food is reasonably priced, comes quickly and is good enough. No, you aren't getting farm to table Michelin quality, but you are getting a large amount of food. Who still has coffee for $2?! I do not have kids but appreciate places that are family friendly with options for parents (including alcoholic drinks). I don't know why there aren't more people here hanging out and studying or reading.
Just had dinner here.. STILL GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE.. THERE'S ALSO A SECRET MENU!! GETS EVEN BETTER☆☆!! I'm not one to just give 5☆s ! This place really deserves all ☆s. Everytime I been here the service has been great. The employees have a great attitude and really seem to appreciate the customers. The Food is equally AMAZING & FRESH. The wife and I have tried multiple dishes and each time we are impressed with flavor and taste. The last component that brings this place all together for me is the atmosphere. It's a cross between the set of Friends and Cheers. Not a stuffy congested fast food chain or an overpriced snobby restaurant. I'm elated that everytime I go there it's pretty empty but at the same time I'm disappointed that not enough people know about this GEM. Give it a try and share your thoughts.. curious to see if others feel the same way I do about this place.
Awesome atmosphere! Has something for all ages. Love the adult lounge! I am a foodie and was impressed with the food selection. This is the perfect place to meet a friend for lunch with an upscale atmosphere while your kids play often supervised out of sight. The game room was very well stocked for older kids in this techie generation. I met the owner who was very professional and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Great place...lives up to the name. Each time I stop by to enjoy a good meal and a break from a hectic day, my visit is enjoyable and they don't fall short.
Great place, food is good and prices reasonable. The ambiance is cool, with rooms for small meetings or events. Live music on Friday nights, romantic not loud, perfect for dinner. I will definitely come back.
As a family we eat here at least twice a week. Big fan of their spaghetti and salads. Great space for families and kids.
Our book club gathered in one of the meeting rooms, which are available for private events , and it was fabulous. The fiod was amazing, we chose variety of items from the menu including the BLT pizza 😋. They have coffee drinks, cocktails and much more. I definitely recommend this spot.
Our family had dinner here yesterday and we were so impressed. First time here, it's family friendly, ample room, and parking. We were all very satisfied with the food, it came out of the kitchen quickly. I had the bacon burger with sweet potato fries, so savory! Then a vanilla latte to go. We'll definitely be back to try different plates, and dessert. There is some seating outside too
Friday karaoke night!! This was such a fun surprise! We came for a fun night with our families and kids and learned that they just started doing karaoke, it was a total blast. Great night for us adults enjoying drinks and rocking some tines, and kids enjoying the play room and eventually working up some courage to try karaoke. I hope this continues!
Couldn’t ask for more! Food was delicious and fairly priced. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Fun and comfortable setting and atmosphere (our family of 5 especially loved the large seating area with couches). It was the perfect place to rest our travel-tired family before being able to check-in to a nearby hotel.

It was pretty empty this last visit which is perfect when you have 3 boys that get to play all the games in back. The food is a bit pricey but it does taste good and they give good portions.
Mostly gets an additional star for the kids play rooms. Food is decent and they have a nice selection of wines and beers. TVs everywhere so it's convenient if you want to watch sports while your kids are playing. We've become regulars and appreciate having this place so close to home.
A nice cafe with good salads and sandwiches and great espresso. In general a quiet place where people can hear each other when talking. There are though those days when the place is jam packed with parents with kids and the cafe becomes a noisy hell when nobody can hear anything and the servers are so overwhelmed that orders are forgotten and one will leave the place hungry like a wolf. In conclusion, a decent place to lunch if it's one's lucky day.
Wifey and I tried the morning burrito which is really good and the mango smoothie too! Not to sweet. I ordered a "personal pizza" I thought it would be smaller but it was actually big enough for me to take half of it back home. Pretty nice overall!
The food is good. Just keep in mind, it's a Cafe not a restaurant per se. The fisrt time I was there I had the pesto chicken sandwich that was ok. But the second time I was there I had the crispy BBQ chicken salad with garlic aioli sauce that was amazing. The staff is was great both times; friendly and attentive. They also have a game room you can pay $5 for access to.
The food was great and had plentiful portions. The coffee should be avoided, it tasted like it had it had been sitting a while. The tables were sticky! Like fly paper sticky!
Pros: the staff is friendly and the food is good. Also, this place offers wifi. I’ve gone here several times to get some school work done. Cons: it gets very loud. Also, they’ve recently started doing reserved seating so if you walk in on a weekend, you might not find a place to sit. I think the reserved seating is unnecessary. A lot of people don’t show up, and the people who actually are there can’t find a good seat.
The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars across the board is because of the insect problem at the outside patio. Food was delicious and so affordable. The inside atmosphere was calming and serene.
We discovered a nice place and stopped by for a drink and some relaxation this time. I had a soy latte, which was good. The space was spacious and perfect for unwinding. They also had a food menu, and I’d love to come back to try some dishes and chat with friends.
It’s a pretty place but I wouldn’t recommend it to study. There’s a section for children to play in and it becomes hard to concentrate when they start to get loud.
Food was good and staff were very helpful. Yet toddler's room could be a bit cleaner. Also, there is no one who implements rules that are written in small print on the side of the wall. Great place to hangout if you have a bit older kids.
The pictures of the food look great! And that's about it. Otherwise it was very bland, and staff was rude. We pronounced something wrong just as a fluke and they proceeded to loudly mock us for the next few minutes behind the counter. Like c'mon guys, that's just not good business. Post Owner Response: Thank you for reaching out and apologizing. We didn't mind the humor in it, it was the extent and length of the reaction that made the experience more uncomfortable than funny for us. I don't think not having sodium is much of an excuse, but I understand. However, I can appreciate reaching out to us though to figure out/explain the problem, so I increased my rating by one star. Best of luck.
If this place caters to families, why was i the only one there with kids? $45 for food for 2 kids and they still want another $18 to walk in the play area, which only has one little tunnel thing. The bigger room was full of video games (and no one using them) because for $10/day you might as well buy your own. The place was full of hipsters on computers. The couch room would be a nice place to relocate to after you’re done using your laptop at Starbucks and want to switch from coffee to craft beer. Great for single folks who want out of their apartments. Leave the kiddos at home.
We really wanted to like this place. It seems fun, with the game room and communal seating. However, the food is just not restaurant quality. From avocado toast that was literally plain loaf bread with overcooked eggs and cut slices of avocado, to the super plain quesadilla - nothing tastes any better than what I can make quickly at home. Outside of meeting a large group of people here for some reason, you'd get a better meal by just driving to the grocery store and picking something up from their counter.
The food was pretty good and the prices were fair. What makes my rating so low is that , I ordered a margarita and it cost about $7. It tasted terrible! I asked for my money back and instead of getting a refund I was charged for my meal twice. Now I have to wait up to 5 days for a refund to post to my account. So annoying! Also the waitress is not knowledgeable about the menu at all. Very poor customer service. The furniture is all stained and I didn’t want to sit on the couches. I will never return even though the food was alright. * After going back and forth and calling about the situation, the management was very cooperative and communicated with me. I was given a full refund and a free coffee and I feel relieved that the situation is over. Thank you!
This definitely was a unique experience. I searched in Google for a local coffee shop and Great Room came up. Not sure what I expected but this was not it. This was both good and bad. I was looking for a neighborhood coffee shop to get some new beans etc. This places coffee is just coffee bean. So if you're looking for local coffee, This is not that place. The space itself is huge and seems like it would be good for a study group or something. It also had a more bar and grill type vibe with more food than coffee options, not a ton of milk substitute options, and tvs throughout. Might be good for food but definitely not the cute Cafe that's quiet and cozy if that's what you were looking for.
Good place to hang out with a group of friends, associates, relatives in a modern minimalist interior. Great place if you have kids under 12 since Great Room has one large playroom suitable for under 7 year olds with slide, play tunnel, plastic push toys. The other room has computer & video games for 7 & older. There is a monitor who swings by both rooms to make sure there are no problems. However, it's $10 per child. Many places with different places to sit. Bar stools, tables & chairs, sofas. This is a family space so be aware there will be high decibel screeeechy, screaming kids. A few adults were with their lap tops, pads, smartphones doing work. Various things to eat & drink. A friend had meat balls in a thick salsa marinara w/ a dollop of Burrata that looked pretty decent. I had a glass of wine, Graffigna Malbec for $8 which for the most part tasted like Welches grape juice. I originally wanted to order a Roederer Crémant but they didn't have a tall narrow champagne flute. In fact they don't have any stem ware for sparking, red, nor white wines. All they had were stemless glass wine bowls which are useless since the hand holding the cup warms up the wine from the warmth of the hand. Big fail considering some of the wines run around $13 a glass. For that kind of price there should be appropriately stemmed glassware. Whoever designed the wine service sucks. Hope that the other wines on their list are better than my Graffigna. However good space to rendez-vous & chitchat which was our purpose in meeting at the Great Room. Fairly large parking lot is much appreciated.
Had the steak sandwich with sweet potatoes and ot was OK. Can't complain, the prices here are so low compared to all the restaurants. Nice chill 0lace to hang out. Cool game room for the kids in the back. But one lady was too comfy here. She took off her shoes and kicked up her bare feet on the couch while she was reading her book. And the poor worker is way overwhelmed with everything. He was doing the job of 4 people. People didn't want to wait so they left because the kid was too busy from taking orders, making coffee, serving food, cleaning up after people, and taking care of all the online orders.
I ordered the steak sandwich which was supposed to be on a baguette but look at the bread it was served on. One side of the bread couldn’t cover the sandwich. The steak was very dry with no flavor. I was very disappointed.

18$ for 2 kids to play. Play room was overly crowded with toys kids could easily get hurt, no room to play and best for 3 and under. They did have a game room for teens seemed not to crowded. Cant speak to menu but was disappointed space for the kids didnt stay for food. Prices for food looked comparable to other places 11$ for a salad but I could have gone to the park for frwe and kids would have had more fun
Horrible breakfast! The scrambled eggs tasted sour and pasty. The coffee was not the greatest. Disappointed.
The fries and pretzels are good if you are willing to wait over 30 min. When I asked at the counter what was taking so long I was given the excuse that they weren't expecting such a crowd.. other customers who ordered full on meals , they received their orders before us and they ordered their food after we ordered. We just wanted an order of fries and an order of pretzels.
NO TODDLER AREA! Wanted to surprise my daughter with a fun lunch here on her birthday, but they have removed the toddler room due to covid concerns. The game room for older kids looked clean and fun for maybe like 6yrs and older... We left and didn't get any food.
It took almost a hour to get a single order out. The staff is incredibly unorganized and aimless. The manager will watch her employees struggle and won't step in. The quality of the food leaves very much to be desired, that is if they manage to get your order right. The barista not even the server gave us the wrong order as well. If you're looking for a place to just hang around and mingle this is a good spot. If you want not so decent food and bare basic service this is also the spot!
Wifi- is really bad, just getting about .87-1MB. Works ok for most site, but I do get a lot of buffering when watching videos. Even after downgrading quality to 480p. Signal strength is low too. Went here for a month due to convenience, but after finals will look for a new location with reliable wifi. Food - Good selection, Fair prices. Drinks- coffee and alcohol(most beer is the Dudes brewery)
We brought our granddaughter for lunch today Sunday. New owners now, we use to love this place. We ordered Protein Omlette which was half the size as before the previous owners. Coffee was filled 2/3 the way less than before. Prices have gone up. Disregard the photos you see online much smaller portions. Sad We loved this place before.

I went there this morning for breakfast for the first and last time. I cannot believe that they don't wipe the tables when they first open. Wet and dirty tables from the night before. Next the food they serve looks 100 times better then what you get. Not only they burn my omelet from outside but uncooked in the middle. I have no idea how they have 4.? stars. I wonder of their cleaning in the kitchen if what they offer on the outside. Save your time and money.
First I’ll say I’ve been there many times and the food is great and the service is usually good. Tonight I went with my wife and my parents the service was the worst I’ve seen in any place I’ve been too. Her name was Nicole first when we went to order I specifically said we want these items as a starter then the rest as the main. She did not say that they don’t serve like that even knowing they have served me that way every other time. So as we ordered we asked questions that she had to ask the cook about but I could hear her asking the wrong question so I had to ask the cook my self, then some food items came to the table before any drinks came out and I asked why did you bring these out first she then said that’s how we do it. Then the oven wasn’t working that well so my father and I had no food until the others were done eating but she never told us what was wrong or that it will be out soon and a simple I’m sorry for inconvenience would have been nice to hear just to show a little compassion. Then she brought over some one else pizza and dropped it on the seat after waiting over 30 min for it then to top it off she didn’t clean it off the seat for at least 20 min after and keep in mind the restaurant had only 3 tables. And she got the table next to us order wrong as well. I’m sorry but this girl doesn’t take the job seriously and I feel bad for the owner.
The Place is legit, I have had the oat meal few times it come out on point with a rich and creamy flavor, but today it was different. The portion size was smaller I have no issues with that as long as I keep getting the same consistency. It taste like it was made in the microwave which is very disappointed without a milky flavor. I think if an item is not available they should not be selling this.
absolutely horrible service. would never recommend this place to anyone that wants to have their privacy respected. rude wait staff and throw people out (with no refund) when customers remind them of their rights. NO ONE is allowed to film you without your consent. plain and simple.
There was a lipstick stain on the coffee cup, so they replaced it. Then we found a long hair in the omelet, which made us feel sick, so we left. I don’t think they care about hygiene. At least they refund.
Second that other dude place to hang out not really a place for food. Beware change of management did not improve anything. Wait is ridiculous you be a skeleton before you order imagine waiting for your food decades would pass you by. If your starving this is the last place you want to be.
Ordered a Grande steak burrito and towards the end of it i bit on something platicky and spat out a large piece of wrapper of some sort. Yuck. I think i ate smaller pieces of plastic because i found some in my mouth afterwards. Took it to the front girl, who took it back and i was left hanging for 20 minutes. No follow up whatsoever. No explanation. Asked for refund and left. Lmao what a joke. Things can happen when you run a restaurant but when mishaps happen you dont just leave the customer hanging lol. I think i ate a bunch of plastics to be honest. If i get sick from this im suing this place.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here warrants a serious warning to potential customers. From start to finish, the visit was deeply disappointing. The food was poorly prepared, lacked flavor, and arrived cold — far below even basic expectations. Unfortunately, the service matched the quality of the meal: inattentive, dismissive, and at times outright rude. What’s most concerning is the lack of accountability or care from the staff. When issues were raised, they were met with indifference rather than any attempt to resolve them. This isn’t just a one-off bad day — it reflects a deeper problem with how this establishment treats its guests. I strongly recommend exploring other options. There are plenty of places that value their customers and take pride in what they serve. This is not one of them.
I was extremely taken back when I was told I have to spend a minimum of $15 to access the WiFi! The most disappointing part is that I ordered food but it was less than 15 so I couldn’t use the WiFi to work is literally the most insane thing I have ever heard of. I will not be back. I also think the owner is a woman, but all she does is stare at everything you do. Terrible experience! This is my second time here, and the food is terrible.
Hurts to write this because I had a lot of love for this place and treated it as my "3rd place" to go after work for a cup of coffee, some quality reading time, and to get some homework done for my grad program at CSUDH...a type of place that feels so basic to the needs of the community and yet so rare to find these days, especially in the South Bay. The food and coffee have always been good, the staff was always friendly to me (one even came to recognize me as a semi regular), and I found the whole place comfortable and accommodating. However at my most recent visit I was turned away when I tried to order my coffee and the lady taking my order informed me that they are changing their policy: they now require a $15 MINIMUM purchase to be at the restaurant for a maximum of 2 hours. I'm not sure who devised this policy, but it seems like a very innovative way to lose a LOT of business. $10 would be bad but $15?? Nobody in this economy, in an expensive area like the South Bay, in an expensive state like CA is going to spend a minimum of $15, they will take their business elsewhere. I understand it may be a way to keep people who have abused the lack of constraints out but such decisions shouldn't be made at the expense of other customers. It's very unfortunate that ANOTHER local alternative to soulless corporate chain spots like Starbucks is no longer an option, it seems like every locally owned option is either closing or making strange decisions like this one, but I sincerely hope the owners reconsider this policy and either loosen it or ditch it entirely. Until then, I'm ditching them.
