Another great experience, food was great, service exceptional.

Well where do I start beautiful building from the minute our party arrived we were treated as if we were the only people that mattered short but interesting menu food and drink first class service from beginning to end exceptional our server was knowledgeable and extremely helpful (Jen) surroundings lovely can not wait to return despite the long journey partnered with biscter village just ask hotel for the details.Overall a great day out enhanced by our short time here...... HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Brian Lee

Fantastic menu, really high standard

Had a lovely evening here last night! The place itself if gorgeous, food was delicious and the staff were lovely! Mainly looked after by Sophie who was so sweet and genuine, but everyone else we had come to our table were just as helpful and welcoming. We came for our anniversary and when we arrived there was a little card and some rose petals on the table which was a very nice touch. Would happily come back here and recommend it to anyone in the area!

Really impressed with the quality of the food and choice on the menu. I had a veggie burgers and it was probably the nicest one I've ever eaten, full of flavor. The chocolate bomb was absolutely delicious, shame I didn't have room for another one. Perfect place to go to for a special occasion. The service is great and the restaurant is nicely decorated with a calm atmosphere.

We were staying at the hotel and had an 8.30 booking for a Saturday evening. After a cocktail in the lovely bar, we were shown to our table. The service was excellent throughout and the ambience and atmosphere was wonderful (maybe the music choice could have been a bit classier but it wasn't too loud). The food was good brasserie style. Exceeded my expectations.

Adult food was really good. The chicken sizzling starter great, i wish they had this available as a main meal. The kids starters were good but it's such a shame restaurants think kids only want fish fingers or chicken nuggets. Come on, kids like curry, Ragu and other adult meals. Please change the kids menu.

Lovely staff. But one of our party had a fillet steak which was ordered rare. This arrived looking grey and unappetising. The meat was grainy - looked like rump not fillet. £35 for the portion. After pointing this out definitely would have thought they’d replace. They didn’t!! Hake was overcooked. Duck tasty but again overcooked. Starter scallops were yummy and puddings delicious.

Had a chicken supreme Either warmed up or ridiculously overcooked. Shame as please overall quite nice.

Food quality varies between okay and awful depending on the dish. Most of the mains are served with the exact same accompaniments, so the kitchen can avoid any hard work. Service was also bad, very rude, abrasive. Staff will shove hot plates of food right past your face. The restaurant itself is well appointed, when you’re not tripping over the wet floor sign positioned directly behind a door. This place could be great, but it’s not.

We were disappointed with our meal here. The staff are not well trained. The correct cutlery was never given with any part of our meal so we had to constantly ask. We were served by multiple staff so we were constantly asked the same questions or completely ignored. At one stage all staff disappeared and we were left unable to order any more food or drinks for over 40 minutes. The quality of the food is ok but not worth the money they are charging. We have eaten in many five star restaurants and have received much better service and food for a lower price, and left feeling full. You will not feel full here. We will not be returning.

“rack of lamb” consisted of 2 (two) lamb chops. “King prawns” were shrimps swimming in (not olive) oil. Overall unexpectedly UNDERWHELMING. Service was fine. So much lost potential.

The restaurant looks lovely and the staff are great but the food here is pretty bad. Expensive for what you get and the quality of the food wasn’t great. They did offer to swap our meals to something different and gave us free desserts but I can’t recommend this restaurant in good faith.
