We were very pleased with the sushi and appetizers here. Everything we ordered was fantastic! The tea is fresh brewed and readily refilled, too. All the staff were very attentive. Every person who walked past our table checked to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. Not just our waitress. Every employee! It was impressive. They were kind of busy, too. So to get such careful attention even when they're busy and the food was phenomenal too! Wow! We will be back!

The prices were decent, especially the hibachi for two. Loved the rolls. Small store but clean inside with a lovely light up jasmine tree

The food was amazing! Had the tempura bento box for lunch. Everything was so fresh. The server was very friendly. The restaurant was exceptionally clean. I can't wait to go back.

Great experience for taking my mother in law for her first sushi ever! Very yummy and a small intimate atmosphere. The Japanese Soda was fun too!!

This place was spotless! When we walked in I could tell it was going to be a quality meal just by how well kept the place was. Everything we had was amazing. Normally its either good sushi or good hibachi but they actually had great sushi and hibachi. The service was excellent and the food came out so fast. We will be back, this is our favorite spot in the area for this kind of food now.

Wow! 😋🤩 The sushi exceeded my expectations, very fresh and delicious! I’ve never had a roll with mango, definitely worth trying! I had the Tango Mango Roll and Dunedin Roll along with a clear soup to start. The food and service was excellent, can’t wait to come back soon!

Absolutely amazing sushi and hibachi. I was a little disappointed at first when I didn’t see the big hibachi griddles but I was blown away with the quality of the food that came out of the kitchen. Also the sushi was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the cucumber and Krab salad.

If you haven’t before, let me introduce you to the absolute perfect couple: sushi & the beach! Sure, going to the beach in itself is relaxing and great. Same for going out for some yummy sushi. But, put the two together and you have an addicting combo. Sakura Sushi can meet exactly that need! They are located literally minutes down the road from Honeymoon Island State Park, Dunedin’s quaint beach. So, we made an online order, picked it up, and scooted our butts over to the sand and salt water. A more perfect scenario couldn’t be dreamed. The food was ready fast, the restaurant was adorable (too bad we didn’t eat in), and the workers were awesome. Oh yeah, and the sushi was spot on too!! What better way to spend a day then grab some food from Sakura and head to Honeymoon Island?! It’s the best way!

Amazing service and delicious food! We stopped here for dinner after visiting honeymoon island beach and are not from that specific area, so decided to give it a shot. The portions of hibachi were huge and the chicken was delicious. Will definitely be back on our next beach stop. Service was swift!

Very flavorful sushi with good-sized rolls. They have some sweet and spicy choices that are a departure from the traditional flavors. Try tango mango.

Started my evening at Kobe Steakhouse as I was craving hibachi. It was packed and had very long wait times, so my fiance and I decided to come here instead and boy was it worth it!!! Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered the seared tuna, mango sushi roll, and steak hibachi. The mango sushi was quite literally some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. The steak was so flavorful and melted in your mouth! The noodles and rice that came with the hibachi were a bit bland, but aside from that everything was perfect — even the ginger salad and clear soup were incredible!!! One thing just to note is that that this is a pretty small establishment with only 10 or so tables, give or take but this did not damage my experience. Excellent service and wonderful food. I will definitely be back. This was just as good as Kobe if not better and I definitely saved a lot of money as the prices here can’t be beat!

We were so happy to find this little hidden gem on Curlew in Dunedin. The restaurant was super clean, the staff was so sweet, caring and very attentive and the food was beyond delicious and Super fresh. Definitely cannot wait to go back!

Avocado Salad Simple’s but, the dressing will blow you away. I am hooked on it. I doubt know how they keep the Avocado so fresh looking and tasteful. But, the do. The wok cooked shrimp (10) and rice noodles & vegetables is my favorite dish. Come on folks $15.00 . The service they always greet you and they never forget to say goodbye. Give it a try for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Sushi bar excellent all fresh always❤️

The Google Assistant made us a reservation as we are driving to the restaurant. When we got there it was a little scary cuz it's sort of dark in the front and the parking lot was not very full. But when we went inside it was bustling and totally happening and we had a great time, we got great service, and the food was superb. Superb. Additionally, everything was immaculately clean!

My wife was out with our 8-year-old in the family car, which has our 2-year-old’s car seat, so picking it up wasn’t an option. When I called Sakura, they immediately recognized me and went above and beyond to make it right. The young man at the front personally brought the rest of our food to my house within minutes. He was gracious, genuine, and truly cared about helping. Thank you, Sakura, for going the extra mile, this is why we’ll continue to be loyal customers.

Indoor dining is available, but we ordered takeout through their convenient online ordering system. So many great sushi rolls at a low price! The ingredients are fresh and you can tell the staff takes special care to prepare and present each roll neatly, even in the takeout containers. Curious to try some of the other items, we also got the vegetable yakisoba and the chicken fried rice. The portions are huge! Most takeout chicken fried rice comes with small nondescript chicken scraps, but not here! Two seasoned and sauced chicken breasts that had that wonderful Hibachi grill flavor. They were so juicy, too. Sakura has such an obvious dedication to quality and we will absolutely be back for more. Can't wait!

And they were seven pieces in the lunch special.

Sakura is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the area! I almost always get the Shawn roll - love the tempura salmon and avocado, but I think it's better with rice on the outside and no cream cheese. My teenage son loves the chicken & salmon hibachi dinner. I like the clear soup, my son prefers the miso soup, and the ginger dressing on the salad is so yummy. Plus, service is super friendly and efficient!

This was some of the best Habchi my family and I have ever had. The meat was very tender and everything had so much flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed it all. We even got extra clear soup to go to have with lunch tomorrow. Restaurant was clean. Serve was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere.

I very much liked their pom pom roll (pictured in the middle). The restaurant was clean, not much of an atmosphere but that still didn't take away from us enjoying our rolls.

Went here for lunch and probably should have went elsewhere. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken and it looked great but not a lot of flavor and not at all spicy! The chicken pieces were small and were overcooked and rubbery. We also ordered spring rolls and clear soup. The spring rolls were just ok but again lacking flavor! Soup was hot and flavorful but they didn’t even fill the small cup. Later we talked to another business owner in the strip mall and he said that they are known for their sushi!

We usually have a good meal and good service here. Not so, tonight. Our server could not understand what we were ordering. Consequently, she goofed things up badly. * She brought us Saki that we didn't order. * She didn't bring my soup and salad. * She didn't bring my wife's meal. * She didn't offer to get me another beer or water. * She didn't check on our meals to see if we needed anything. Only after my daughter asked about our third dish, another server brought it out 1/2 hour later. Our server seemed to avoid locking eyes with us and never apologized for her mess ups. Co-workers did tell they were sorry, but only have us a discount after my wife complained. I know it's hard to hire good employees. But this was ridiculous.

I looked at him and said my card please. He finally gave it to me and I signed the receipt. It wasn’t busy and there was no people behind me waiting, why being so rude about it? Also, they charged me another dollar to substitute cream cheese for cucumber which last time they didn’t charge me for it, to found out that they didn’t give neither of them. This roll is very good but the fact that they charged me an extra dollar to actually take one ingredient off and not putting the one I requested is ridiculous.
