Beautiful old decor, friendly and efficient servers and staff. Generous portions and fantastic flavor
All around good place to sit and have a good conversation. The waiting staff was a pleasure to deal with was on top of everything took the good care of what you needed. Best part was the waitress was sharp and did not have to use a pad to write down anything. Most places need to sit and write things down everything was on the money. I recommend dinner here.
We had a DELICIOUS lunch here! Portions are generous and the flavor is great. They have a nice variety of gluten free options too, even dessert! Our server was fantastic.
Delicious garlic knots, fresh salad or soup and a main course portion that needs a to-go bag. The server was attentive and accommodating all while smiling. No reservations. This was the closest to NYC pizza in this area. We'll DEFINITELY be back soon. 🍕
I hadn’t been here in a while but I surely will be back, the food was great and portions were huge! Service was fine could have been better but no complaints! Atmosphere was good and family friendly!
What a great Italian meal!! Service was always attentive, we never had to search for someone. The calamari appetizer was fresh and delicious 😋. And a chicken Parm the size of my head! So tender I didn't have to use a fork. Definitely recommend taking the family here.
This place never misses, the food is always excellent with large portions of food! Service is quick, no wonder this place is always busy! Friendly people too, Adam waited on us tonight and he is fantastic, literally read my mind when I needed a box. Thanks Adam! Always great for large groups too, come here often with family and friends for dinners and birthdays!
This restaurant isn't as highly praised as some other Italian restaurants in the area but this place is amazing. We lucked out with getting a table less than 10 minutes upon arriving. The staff hustled with a smile. Garlic knots were presented. Drinks were ordered. We ordered calamari for our appetizer. They were the best I've had in our area. The light breading was so good and they were small and delicious. I just had them in Plymouth, Massachusetts and they were as good or better. The marinara was like a cup instead of puny saucers. We brought some home too. We both ordered veal parm which had that light breading on it and barely needed a knife! I used to think Consols was the best in the area. Although I have not tried Concordia, I will post theirs. We brought some home too. My partner ordered broccoli with garlic butter and he loved it. I did not touch my pasta but will eat it for lunch. If you pay cash, you save $$ We cannot wait to go back again!!
This place was a recommendation & it was one of the best we ever received. This unassuming longterm restaurant was packed even between lunch & dinner times, slight wait for a table. The staff we encountered was very friendly & attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh & plentiful. Salad was fresh fresh! Their red & alfredo sauces were some of the best we tasted, better than mine! Meatballs are excellent. Brought home leftovers for the following day. Listed as a pizza place but more like grandma's italian dishes place. This place is well worth the detour when traveling. We will be back.
Found this place on google and I always check a place out if they have good reviews. The pizza was huge and fresh. Cooked perfect. Wings were pretty good and the garlic knots. Delicious. Really enjoyed the food here and delivery was about an hour on a Saturday night. Not bad. Definitely would eat here again.
Great food, excellent service and good value. The place is packed in the weekends and they took reservation for large party. We ordered mussels with marinara and they were very good. We split an order of chicken parmigiana and the portion size was definitely good enough for two. The garlic knots served instead of regular rolls were tasty and freshly baked. Overall, it's a wonderful casual family restaurant to enjoy a wonderful meal.
The food is always delicious. The waitress is very cordial and provides the service to please. Been coming here since they opened.

Best Italian food in the area! It's a bit small but it's worth the wait. Have yet to try the pizza but it sure flys out the door and smell delish!

Nice surprise after a late evening of searching for a comfortable place for a family dinner. Great food. Outstanding service.
This place is excellent a great place to eat. Pretty interior, great atmosphere. The parm dishes are delicious. Great desserts too
We go every other week. The service is always great and the food is delicious. We almost always get a pizzatizer (a pizza appetizer) then an entrée so we have pizza and usually 1/2 a meal lef…
It was ok the sauce is sweet which isn't how I like it and the chicken parm dosnt come on pasta which I thought was weird but im from upstate they may do things differently down here
Food took a while to get to us but was pretty good once it finally did. Took about 45 minutes to get a table and then waited close to an hour for the food to come out after ordering. This was a Saturday night about 6:30pm when we arrived.
My wife took me here an let me say... That fish sub with fries an the tartar sauce was very Delicious! The garlic knots was served with a nice sauce that was tasty! I even dipped my pizza in the sauce for an extra flavor 😁
This is a great, casual spot for family-style Italian food. The portions here are pretty large, the good thing about that is the leftovers! I’ve had their pizza a few different times throughout the years and it hasn’t been consistent, so I get their other items instead. This time, we ordered fried calamari as an appetizer, the Chicken Francese and Pasta Pomodori. I love that the bread for the table is their garlic knots. The fried calamari was excellent, it was hot and crisp, not rubbery at all, and their sauce had a slight kick but not too hot; very good. I’d get this again. The portion was so large it could feed a group of people. The Pasta Pomodori was very flavorful, I’ve had it another time and it was good then too. The Chicken Francese sauce tasted a bit too sweet for me, like there was an actual sugar taste to it. I’m not sure if they added sugar to try the balance the acidity of the lemon juice, or if the white wine they use is a sweeter variety. There was definitely something too sweet there. Aside from the sauce, the chicken itself was a very generous portion and it was cooked beautifully! It was a thick cutlet of chicken breast cooked all the way through and still so tender and juicy, I could use a fork to cut it. I may try a different chicken option here as the chicken was perfect but the sauce was the only issue for me. This is a nice spot to try, but go with someone that will let you try what they get too so you have some different ideas of their food.
Yesterday I went to have a very early dinner after playing a round of golf. Michelangelo’s was highly recommended and what I ordered was said to be their best dish. It’s my favorite even though it’s not Italian. I ordered Chicken Parmigiano with a side of spaghetti. They served a side salad and garlic knots too. I liked the way the Chicken Parmigiano was prepared except that it was slightly dry (not bad just slightly) and the sauce should have been mixed in with the pasta prior to serving. These are minor things and did not take away from my enjoyment of the meal. Mike (I apologize if I did not recall your name) was the server and his attentiveness & friendliness was terrific. I definitely will be eating there again. I give them 4.5 stars in Food & Atmosphere along with 5 Stars on Service. Try them when you are in the area. 💜😎💜
Decent pizza for a decent price. Family of 4 dined on a Saturday evening (5:30-6pm). The restaurant was full and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. It didn't seem to be a full 20 minute wait to be seated, so that was nice. We ordered a large pizza with meat and onions. We were served garlic butter rolls while we waited. I do not suggest eating these on a first date. They are super garlic covered, almost too much, and it burns the mouth a little. But they were good. The pizza was pretty good. A little thin in the crust for us, but I guess that's the style of pizza. It still tasted really good. And the large is HUGE, we only ate half of it. The waitress was kind but could of come around for drink refills. 3 of 4 drinks were empty and we waited a long time to ask for a to go box and our check. Over all, if we are in the area in the future, we would eat here again.

I've eaten here before, this time we did takeout. Think it was overpriced...food was just alright. Don't see myself doing this again
It had been quite a while since we had been there. But when we went previously, our all-time favorite was the salmon with their wonderful sauce however, last night, the salmon tasted bread, but the…
Lasagna is one of the best choices in town. Rich cheese and full of fresh tomato sauce were impressive. I even enjoyed a leftover on next day.
The food at Michelangelo's is absolutely delicious. One of my favorite Italian restaurants (if not my favorite) in Binghamton. I'm actually disappointed in myself for not going here sooner. Huge portions of quality food for a very fair price. Eggplant parm & chicken parm specifically are phenomenal, as is their bruschetta and garlic knots. My only gripe is that they are greatly limited in regard to space; I wish they were twice the size & had more room as far as indoor dining and even parking. They also seem to quite frequently have a wait time for seating due to this fact (unless you arrive super early, and even then there may be a wait!). But I assure you, it is well worth the wait and you will be very impressed w/ the food and the service. Edit: Tried to order take-out tonight from them and they hung up on my 3 times. Can't get through. I'm aware that it's Valentine's Day, but please, PLEASE practice better service than this. Take the call and simply say, "sorry, we are not accepting take-out orders at this time." Had to readjust my rating due to this.
Our server Sophia started out great then went down hill after we got our food. As we were eating she came over never asked how anything was and placed to go containers and a bag on our 2top table. We were no where's near done eating. Then when we were done she was no where to be found. Had to ask a bus boy to find her for us. My Veal Marsala was very small but tasty for 28.00. Finding your prices keep going up and portions are looking smaller. My wife had chicken Marsala she said it was great.
I was honestly surprised by the high Google rating, as my experience was disappointing. Appetizers and salad are mediocre. The penne alla vodka was overcooked, and the seafood-stuffed shells were also overcooked, with a sauce that felt overwhelming. I don’t plan to return.
This is the second time that Ihave had a terrible experience here! We were seated just inside by the door. My legs were frozen. We waited exactly 1 hour for our food. My veal parmigiana was smothered under sauce and cheese. When I finally found the veal, it was semi warm and full of membrane fibers that I couldn’t even chew. Most of my dinner ended up in a napkin. I complained to our waitress (which we saw once through the whole dinner) and she assured me that she would take care of it. When the bill came, she had deducted $3.00 off my meal of $24.99. That means that I paid $21.99 for a small salad and 1 garlic knot!!! Never again You’ve lost 4 frequent customers
First time going alone. sat myself awkwardly- asked for a food and alcohol menu to get no information on the house made items or deals for the day, couldn’t bother to ask how my day has been was just abrupt and kind of rude through the process- Had to go get my own silverware server forgot and order my own mixed drink at the bar because my server never came back to ask if I would like anything. Cool food but this place is not a good environment to hang out and enjoy a meal was really eager to get me out the door it seems - I get fast pace but it’s 3:00 on a Saturday. Did not enjoy the experience whatsoever.
