Some of the best pizza in all of New York State!

This is world-class pizza. The corn-meal crust (I think I have that right; corn meal is at least part of it) makes for an unusually satisfying base. All ingredients are fresh and beautifully prepared and presented. Met Paul when traveling through Binghamton with my stepson; met him again at the NY Pizza Festival in the Bronx! where Paul was out scouting the competitors. Worth a special trip for these pizzas.

I'll start by saying that I am pretty picky when it comes to pizza. I recently moved back to the area and my grandmother recommended Paul & Sons - she said it was best in the area, so I had to try it. I ordered an 18" garlic pizza with artichoke, tomato, feta cheese and garlic - it was arguably the most delicious pizza that I have ever eaten. I was previously loyal to another local pizza chain in the area, I would even drive from Syracuse just to get a slice of their pizza, but I have been converted! I would highly recommend Paul & Sons!

Perfect crust. Delicious sauce and seasonings. Cheese to sauce ratio spot on. This was my first time getting a pizza here (actually 2), but it definitely will not be my last. It smelled so good in my car I just had to grab a hot slice out of the box and eat it out in front of the place before I left. Brought a tray to my mom and sisters, they give their approval as well (we're a picky pizza family). Definitely worth the drive from Apalachin!

Pizza is always delicious. They definitely use very high quality ingredients - the cheese tastes better, veggies flavorful.

I will never pass this establishment ever again without stopping. Arrabiata pie. Ricotta, plum tomatoes, and sesame seed. This is the greatest pie I’ve ever had. EVER.

Ordered several pizzas for takeout and they did not disappoint. The prosciutto pineapple is excellent perfect amount of sweet/spicy, meatball, tomato basil and the broccolini were also great. Got the Paul’s salad as well loved the fennel, perfectly dressed. Definitely recommend this place.

Best Pizza in Binghamton, the only place I've found that's comparable to NYC pizza! The only downfall is that their hours are a little wonky, and they are often closed when I'm looking to get pizza. But now that I expect it, I'm pleasantly surprised when I find them open.

The best pizza by far in Binghamton with a great staff. I grew up on Long Island and spent some time in the city so I like to think I know a thing or two about pizza. Every pie here is amazing. After spending a year in Rochester where I couldn’t find any decent pizza places I’m beyond happy to have found Paul and Sons. This places beats a lot of Long Island places so I’m thrilled I don’t have to travel back to Long Island for quality pizza.

Paul’s pizza is amazing. People literally drive from miles around to get their fix. There are daily specials, and it’s always something interesting. My favorites are probably the plain, pepperoni, and the white pizza with red onion and walnuts. Sounds weird, I know, but it’s completely delicious. The crust is I think the most stellar part – – crunchy and rich tasting with just a dusting of cornmeal. Never soggy, never pudgy and squishy. Just perfect every time. Paul makes a great salad, and delicious soups in season. Always a vegan choice too. The only bad thing about Paul’s is that once or twice a year it closes for a week or two. The whole town goes into mourning . OK, the drink selections could be better. Maybe a few locally bottled sodas, sparkling water? Seriously, it’s a great place and you won’t find better pizza unless you go to New York City or straight to Italy.

This place is amazing!😍 I love the fresh ingredients! We just moved to the area about a week ago and have been here 3 times now! When we first tried them we got the Italian Sausage Specialty! You can taste that the sausage, sauce, and dough were all made fresh and cooked to order! The place has an homey feel and the owner is super nice! This time around we got a pepperoni and red onion pizza with red sauce and oh my goodness it was amazing!! We're already planning our next visit! We'll be back very soon!!

Outstanding pizza. I personally would add more salt to the crust recipe. Pizza is great. Crust is so yum(I add salt at home) . However… when you go in to pick up an order ..no music … no life … no vibe … just silence and I think that needs improvement. I get music competes with phones and customers but you don’t. Hav to blast it. …. It feels awkward and silent I there 😂

The best NY style pizza in the Southern Tier - hands down, no competition. My family and I have tried many places from one end of the Tier to the other. Paul and Son's wins by a long shot. Pizza is so savory and delicious, crispy, not salty, well seasoned. Just amazing!

They have amazing pizzas! Their sausage pizza with garlic and peppers have so much toppings on it and it's delicious! Just make sure you call in your order because it can take at least an hour to make it due to how popular this place is!

Best pizza in the area by far. Limited specialized menu which lets them really focus on the things they do well. Great meatball heroes great grandma slices and absolutely the best plain slice of pizza in binghamton. All types of specialty slices that change daily. Only downside is the hours but the food makes up for that tenfold. No delivery

I will say a minimalist pizza shop.. but the pizza makes up for the small space.. the best perfect crust!! I tried 4 different slices, and they all delivered great flavor and taste!!!! I will be back!!!! Update... any time I am in the area this has become a must stop at and grab lunch... or even just a in-between meals...

I’m from the city and would have never expected a pizza shop anywhere this far from there to be to this good. Seriously one of my favorite spots ever. The pizza slices are unique and delicious. Get the pepperoni slice and put some of the sweet hot sauce on it. It’s so good. Only thing I would say is some of the slices have a little more crust than the others but it isn’t enough to knock it down a star or even half a star.

We just visited this place for our dinner during our Binghamton trip and the pizza dough was crispy and flavorful. I can taste that they use high quality ingredients.

When I stumbled across this place I saw the reviews and just didn’t believe it could be “that” good. Well it is… lol it’s a damn good pizza place! The Buffalo sauce used on the Buffalo chicken is amazingggg and the celery on top is something I’ve never had before 💯💯 five out of five I will be back

What a wonderful experience. From the moment I found their listing I knew I found the perfect place for our pizza order. Being from out of state and surrounded by pizza places you just never know. From the moment they answered the phone to the moment we had the pizza they were kind, friendly, and welcoming. We felt like we were dining with family. They treat you like you matter to them. Best Pizza I ever had in Binghamton. They are always busy, so call in to order. The normal wait is 30 minutes on average. Slice pizza for $4 and a large cheese pizza for $16. I love to eat at the place as they have a variety of seasoning available, for example: hot sauce, garlic powder, parm powder, and more. As per the atmosphere, there is not much sitting space. You can get sodas and free water.

It is a hole in the wall in Binghamton ny. I'm originally from NJ, lived in NEPA for past 30 years. This pizza, at Paul's and sons, was honestly, brought me back to Friday night pizza at my grandmother house. My cousin and I just moaned with nostalgia. Worth taking 20 min to get a parking spot. The arabiatta ricotta pie is the greatest thing you’ll eat. What a gem this place was. They were out of the slices for it when I went there, and the owner Paul went out of his way to make my friend and I a pie on the spot. We’re unworthy! Thank you again Paul!

Hands down, Paul’s has THE best pizza in Broome County. Advise you to do take out. There are very few seats for eating in. There are choices for his specialty pizzas and your own choices. Crust is thin, and hand thrown by Paul himself. When you bring one home, it looks like a piece of art. We always get a salad too - it’s jam packed with fresh goodies and a delicious dressing. Grateful to live nearby this wonderful restaurant. Try it. You won’t regret it.

This pizza is off the rails great✨✨✨✨ Was craving pizza, but I am extremely particular. Don’t like your run-of-the-mill chain pizzas, etc I found a few reviews for Paul and sons, and the pictures were quite compelling…… and it was everything that the reviews said, and more!!! They sell gourmet pizza whole & by the slice, as well as your basics, pepperoni and cheese. The pizza is in a word SPECTACULAR. The cheese pizza is thin, the crust crisp and the red sauce is rich with flavor and delicious with exactly the right amount of cheese. Today, along with the cheese pizza, I tried the sun-dried tomato, spinach, and ricotta pizza. The crust is slightly thicker to accommodate the lovely ingredients. Two slices and a cold drink is less than eight dollars!! I can’t say enough about Paul and sons pizza!! if you miss eating here, you’ve really missed it indeed!!!!

Amazing pizza -- I ordered a medium pizza topped with pepperoni and extra cheese, and it has fresh sprigs of basil and aged parmesan that really enhanced the overall taste. I highly recommend Paul and Sons. I feel they are one of the top two pizzerias in the area.

I’ve lived in the Binghamton area for 25 years. I’ve been everywhere for pizza in Endicott and Binghamton. We have never had pizza this good at anyplace you can mention. Honestly, I would prefer this pizza to the pies I ate in Rome and northern Italy. This is our family’s favorite place and we drive 15-20 minutes to get it. The ingredients are top notch quality and the pies are consistent week to week. Paul and his staff are very friendly and I’m always happy to drop in, pickup my food, and say hi. Make sure you plan on 60 minute wait from time of order to pickup because Paul is cranking out pies all Saturday night! I highly recommend this pizza over anything else you can get near Binghamton. Thanks Paul for all the great pizza and being my friend!

Anything less than 5 stars would be a travesty. I waited outside their doors for 30 minutes until they opened, a decision rivaling the significance of marriage or children. What can I say? A slice of roasted pepper and a slice of roasted white garlic was a match made in heaven! The crust is crispy with the slightest char. It’s a gorgeous Saturday and the suns out, you’ve got a couple slices with a black cherry cola to wash it down. This may be the meaning of life if you ask me. Really though, the best slice outside of the city. Whether you’re local or from abroad stop by for some great food and great conversation!

Hands down BEST pizza and meatball sub in the Binghamton area- tastes as good or even better than pizza in NYC! The meatball sub is a monster- probably weighed at least 3 pounds and super delicious 🤤! Not a whole lot of seating but excellent for takeout. Took them a while to answer the phones to take my order. Well worth the wait!

I come here for their vodka slice, it’s very good. They have others on display that look good but this is the one that calls to me. They typically have a special where you can get a fountain drink with your pizza slices. They do have bread that they make there all packaged up but I was told it’s for local business that purchase from them. I’d come here for their pizza again.

Paul and Sons pizza is absolutely incredible pizza. Each time we have ordered here (which has been a lot) it has consistently impressed us with the quality of ingredients, the immaculate crust, and the genuine warmth of the staff that works here. Further, the weekly specialty pizzas are a revelation. My girlfriend and I ordered the Pork belly carbonara pizza, and it was legit the best specialty pizza I’ve ever had by a long shot, and this is coming from a NYC transplant who has had a lot of great pizzas. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who wants epic pizza!

They do add some seasonings by default, but it's not overwhelming and the kind of stuff I like to add anyways. Wow! Amazing oizza. This is very good pizza. Had a regular cheese slice and it has a very thin crust and was absolutely delicious and not too greasy. Then we had the thicker slice, the one in photo, and it was totally different and maybe more delicious. They have what appeared to be generic soda on tap and I got a Birch Beer and it was delicious as well. It’s so nice to drop in for a slice and be so delighted over the quality. Can’t wait to come back.

Loved their take on a sausage pie. Sausage has a bit more fennel than others but I quite liked how that played against the roasted garlic and peppers. About the only real thing I'd do differently next time is get that crust just a little bit more done, but that's a me thing.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Paul and Son’s pizza. Their pizza is consistently hot, fresh and delicious. They also have weekly specials, which as a foodie, I enjoy getting to try new, unique flavors. I'm a downstate transplant and after living in Binghamton for 5 years, this is hands down the best pizza I've had in all of Broome County, if not the entire state. The service is efficient and the staff treats you like family. It's evident that so much love goes into their pizza. Paul and Son's has gotten me through many long nights of studying and tiring shifts at the local hospital. Do yourself a favor and pick up a slice (or an entire pie) the next time you're in the mood for a cheesy hug of deliciousness. I’m originally from the Philly area and went to school in NYC and I love living up here now but honestly I haven’t found a pizza shop that holds up to Philly or NYC - until trying Paul & Sons. I saw people mention it as the best pizza in the area on Reddit and Reddit is never wrong haha. My husband and I were so impressed with the pizza, the customer service, and relaxed comfortable vibe inside. We’ll definitely be back and we especially want to try their subs next.

Honestly the best pizza in the 607 area. From the Grande cheese to the perfect light amount of sauce and the light/airy dough. The pepperoni has great flavor and a little kick that just adds to this perfect pizza(as you can see, they don’t skimp on the pepperoni either!!!). This pizza is special! Has a nice garlic profile too. Some might not like the char on the crust but I think the texture really adds to the slice. The only downside is it’s open 4 days a week! Everyone deserves a break though so I understand! The workers are friendly and the pizza never disappoints.

My first time at Paul & Son Pizza, and it felt like discovering a hidden gem with my wife and daughter! I never knew a place like this existed in Binghamton—it’s like gourmet pizza right here! Walking in reminded me of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with a cozy, urban vibe. The pizza was incredible. I’m obsessed with the ARRABIATA—ricotta and toasted sesame seeds on pizza? Oh boy, it’s a flavor-packed experience. We kept trying different slices, and the owner, Paul, made sure we were taken care of. He even blessed us with a BROCCOLINI, ricotta, roasted garlic, and cherry tomato pizza—those fresh veggies were amazing! To top it off, Paul gave us a free pie to take home. I could’ve sworn he was from Brooklyn with the love and hospitality he showed. A must-visit for any pizza lover!

A great Pizza, but consider carrying it out as dine-in space is limited! We decided to order Paul & Sons pizza for the first time for dinner over the weekend. A bunch of local social media groups have extremely positive things to say about Paul & Sons so we had to give it a try. It did not disappoint. We ordered 2 pizzas for carryout on a Saturday night around 8 pm. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a specialty tomato basil pizza. Everybody has their own opinion on what they would consider the best pizza, and while I personally would likely not put Paul and Sons at the top of my personal favorite list, it is definitely going on the list as both pizzas were hot and delicious! The crust of these pizzas were more floppy than crispy, the sauce has a bit of tang to it and the crust had flavor, which is a huge positive over pizza joints that have crust that tastes like cardboard. Overall we will certainly be ordering from Paul and Sons again and we will likely continue down the list of specialty pizzas!

Best pizza in all of NY (including NYC) Seriously there’s no comparison. You can’t really order in. Limited hours. But so worth it. Old school vibes. Chef Paul is incredible. Try the arrabiata and ricotta and you’ll see what I mean. It’s a little spicy, but the ricotta delivers an amazing finish. 10/10 recommend!

Honestly really disappointed in my first time experience here today, especially after hearing so much local hype. I did the 2 slice special, just kept it simple with pepperoni. The flavors were perfectly fine, however the slice was pretty flimsy and the crust was burnt to hell and back, like disintegrated at the touch kind of black. Service/vibe wasn't particular welcoming so I didn't say anything about it, and maybe wasn't sure if this was just their style or perhaps an off day. Figured maybe I'd try to order a full pie of one of the specialty flavors but I also don't want to risk $20+ dollars on a full pie when they can't heat 2 slices without the crust coming out looking like charcoal. Overall disappointed and probably won't go back unless someone else is paying.

I can't tell you how their food is because when I call, I get a message that tells me they're on summer break tl July 15th. It's August 15th right now. I also am calling at 5pm on a Friday. I live 30 minutes away and they were recommended to me by a pizza maker. I'm not driving out there to find that they're closed.

Terrible service… Called to order a pizza before noon since they open at noon and was hoping to pick it up around then since you know that’s lunch time. No answer since they aren’t technically open yet, fine. Called again at noon almost 40 min pick up time. I apologized and said I wouldn’t be able to do that but thank you. Condescendingly was asked what a good time for me would be. Before I could answer to say hey it’s fine I can’t wait that long as I gotta get back to work, I was cut off and told “MAM! We are never going to be a place you can call and get a pizza in 15-20min we have a line out the door. Ok then. Your pizza isn’t near good enough for a 35-40 min wait. That’s cool, their business is now a place I will never call and get food from. Not the first experience here where they(or he) act like they are too good for your business and several others I know have had similar experiences. But is definitely my last. My family and I had planned to meet our niece here to have a quick bite before the Lume festival. It was such a hole in the wall that we ended up going somewhere else. They had two tables, both of which were taken. There were no bathrooms or coolers with drinks, just a grab your pizza and go type it please. No thank you.
