So happy to see this place open in Montclair. I go to other locations in NYC and love the ambiance, decor, & specialty flavors. Every location I’ve been to had lovely staff that are knowledgeable about the coffee bean sourcing, roasting, brewing, and infused bean process and this place continues that trend with kind and informative staff. If you love more unique coffee definitely worth a visit.

I had the Dulce de Leche Latte (with oat milk) and a banana bread loaf both were great. I would definitely go back to try other coffee flavors. The space has a co-working table with multiple outlets and WiFi. I loved the comfy love seats the ambiance is warm and so are the baristas ( Jaiden & Devin), they constantly checked in to see if we were okay or needed water.

Cool space, nice vibe and good coffee - perfect for catching up with friends and clients. Looking forward to future visits to try their specialties. Lucky me, my office is right across the street!

I love this place so much it’s a great study spot and the workers are so sweet! The matcha is really good , I usually add vanilla for sweetener and it never fails. The music playlist here is great as well! Can’t wait for future study visits here ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The coffee here is TOP NOTCH! Real coffee and rich tasting. I have tried both the coquito and horchata flavors and I recommend both. Today I had a latte made by Jordan and it was SO GOOD! So with or without fancy flavors, 787 is THE BEST! Now let’s talk about the staff. Every single time I have been here, I had had great service. Warm welcome when I come in every single time and super helpful. I once left my credit card here and Tristin tracked me down to be sure I got it back. Every time I meet a new barista here, I think oh they are fantastic. Then I meet another and I think, oh they are great too. This has happened with everyone I have met who works here. So very happy I found this place.

It’s generally a really nice place to relax at before my classes, can’t wait to try out the menu more now that I got time. Ms.Cassie brings a really nice vibe and they are really easy to talk to.

The coquito latte was one of the best specialty coffees I've had in the area in a very very long time. So good I am going back to try the rest of them. The quesito was also very yummy. The seating area is large and the chairs are comfy. The ambiance is almost there, just a little cramped with the plant/furniture placement. With a little rearranging, this might become my new go to in town.

Seriously unimpressed with the service at 787 today. My friend and I stood at an empty counter for five whole minutes, completely invisible to the two employees who were too busy chatting. No welcome, no 'we'll be right with you,' just a casual conversation while we waited. When one finally acknowledged us, it was just a quick 'be right with you' before he resumed his chat. By then, the line had grown. Safe to say, I won't be returning to this location.

Other than the thick, slime like film, the coffee itself is not good. The inside was poorly decorated- nothing like the other locations. The walls were chipped and things just around. Very disappointing, the other locations are much nicer and taste so much better. 3 coffees for $24 was just absurd with what we got.

Come here if you want to wait 45 minutes to an hour for two mid iced lattes. The barista was nice but he was alone on a Sunday. Either way, it wasn't busy enough to justify the exorbitant wait. The coquito latte tasted nothing like any coquito I've ever had. Almost as bad as the wait itself was having to sit through the generic marketing and bad art displayed on the monitors.

Genuinely the worst coffee I've ever tasted in my life clearly meant to cater to the white audience and not the Latino community because these prices are not only outrageous but flat out disrespectful. Getting a normal latte with a milk alternative is not any cheaper than their speciality lattes as they charge a whole extra dollar (not the .50/.75 cent regular charge) for oat milk. Shame on you.
