Breakfast was delicious!!! Great portions great service. Love that all the staff was Raza. Anytime you visit an establishment that has Raza working you know the meal is going to be great from the servers , to the cooks everyone was on point. Constantly making sure we were doing okay , if we needed anything. Will definitely be coming back

Best breakfast on the mountain. If you haven’t tried this place recently, definitely give it a visit. They’ve really hit their stride and the quality seems to be getting better every time we’ve come.

Great food! We were staying in Lake arrowhead at the resort and on our way home we stopped here for breakfast and it was delicious! We will definitely be stopping by next time! Also the prices are great, especially for the area.

Beautiful diner atmosphere and the staff were very friendly! We got food to go and it was amazing!! Everything was so flavorful and such large portions which looked and tasted homemade not your typical food service delivery stuff. Would highly recommend!

I was in the area for my sister's wedding and wanted to treat the bride, groom and their friends with coffee and breakfast. I called not long after they opened on a Saturday morning with a large order and they were very accommodating (and fast)! The coffee was fantastic and the bagel sandwiches were a huge hit.

Great breakfast/brunch place that is not as busy compared to the Lake Arrowhead Village. The ambiance is a cozy diner experience. We didn’t have to wait upon arriving around 1pm on a Sunday even though it was pretty packed. The food didn’t take long for it to arrive either. Great dining experience. Would visit again! I was hungry but not hungry for anything specific. The server recommended a Mushroom burger, I added Onion Rings.. it definitely hit the spot but then I wanted something sweet but not too sweet… ( I know I’m picky) The manager brought me a strawberry shortcake. I’m not big on Strawberries , however, the presentation was absolutely beautiful so of course I had to give it a try about halfway through I hit a wall and had to stop… Food coma was setting in. I overheard the table next to me raving about a mushroom ravioli with something that sounded good too. Definitely will be back.

1st time here. The service is so so nice. Quaint place. Diner food with good options. Right in the center of blue Jay and walking distance from Jensons. Parking was no issue. Very satisfied with our dishes. Our appetizer was fried artichoke hearts. The dishes we were happy with were the Pastrami burger which is a burger with pastrami inside. The Tri Tip Salad was good and proportionate to my appetite. The vibe was typical diner style but like I said the service made our trip so much better. Check out our rental cabin, link is in profile

This is another hidden gem in the San Bernardino Mountains. They serve up hot, home style cooking every day. And this past Saturday was no exception. There is plenty of seating inside and there is a delicious choice of breakfast and lunch food on their menu. This place is a keeper for my motorcycle group.

Food was good, service was also good, not too quiet, not too loud, and the lighting was relaxed.

Extremely happy to see a restaurant open in this location. Love the music and interior refresh! Ordered the grilled shrimp salad, side soup and Buffalo wings. Buffalo wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with an excellent Buffalo sauce. Grilled shrimp salad - perfect portion size and grilled shrimp topped it off well.

Today, we took a trip to the mountain in the Lake Arrowhead area. We stopped in a small town called Blue Jay and had breakfast at The Villager Coffee Shop. We all enjoyed our food. The service was very good and the portions were very fair. We had breakfast, which included Florentine omlett, half order French toast with bananas and candied pecans added and chicken and waffles. The Villager also serves lunch and dinner. They don't have a very big alcohol drink menu, but we did see beer and margaritas. The lunch and dinner options looked really good, but today was a breakfast day for us. If you are in the area, I suggest stopping in.

If you’re in the area, stop in for some pancakes, bottomless coffee & delicious steak & eggs. Mamma Mia did it hit the spot.👌

This is the best breakfast in Arrowhead. The Eggs Florentine was prepared very well, fresh ingredients and very good. We’ve eaten at most of restaurants in Arrowhead this place will not disappoint. Under new ownership they totally remodeled the place and it looks great. The waitresses are really friendly and attentive; excellent service. We’ll be back on our next trip here.

1st time here. The service is so so nice. Quaint place. Diner food with good options. Right in the center of blue Jay and walking distance from Jensons. Parking was no issue. The Villager Coffee Shop is the kind of place that makes you glad you stopped—classic diner comfort with a real hometown feel. The staff is consistently upbeat, the cooks het it done with a smile and everything comes out the way you want diner food to come out: hot, familiar, and satisfying. (My over-easy eggs could’ve been on the grill for another minute it… still yummy) It genuinely feels family-owned—not in a gimmicky way, but in the way people greet you, check in on your table, and serve your food with a smile. Locals roll in happy, chat a little, and you can tell this spot is part of the rhythm of Blue Jay. If you want the classic diner experience—easy, friendly, always solid—this is it.

The food is pretty decent for mountain food. We've only tried it a couple times, but the last time, it took a good while to get our food. They seem to be lacking a little bit in the customer service and attentiveness department, but it seems to be on the better side of edible food for what's up here. Hopefully they'll get better at the customer service. I'd like to go more regularly if they do!

They seem to be lacking a little bit in the customer service and attentiveness department, but it seems to be on the better side of edible food for what's up here. Hopefully they'll get better at the customer service. I'd like to go more regularly if they do!

Only got coffee. They did not have steak when I was there overall good experience decent coffee just no steaks with no heads up. I mean it is like a breakfast diner. You expect there to be steak and eggs or at least a heads up. There isn’t before you sit down and get comfortable.

I loved Bill's Villager before they switched owners. Today we went in with our family who have lived in Blue Jay for years, and they mentioned that it was "ok" since the change. I'd agree. Everything was just "ok". The service was slow. We sat for 15 minutes before we flagged someone to provide us with a basic drink order. The chicken & waffles was supposed to be served with a chicken thigh. I expected a KFC type of piece of meat. They gave me the saddest from frozen chicken tenders. The waffle was good. The scrambled eggs were extremely oily. The denver omelet my hubs bought was the best food on the table. I really wanted to love it, but it was just OK.

The food was good but the customer service was horrible, this older lady and this tall guy just horrible, we arrived close to 3 an hour before closing, dragging their feet you can tell they were checked out wanted to go home, you are getting paid to do a job to your freaking job all the way through until the last minute your getting paid.. it’s so disgusting how they represent someone else’s business! It’s a small business in a small community, such a bad reputation to have in a place like this… because everything counts, so I highly recommend you invest your hard earned money somewhere else!

Good food but service sub par. We came in at 1,pm on .Monday the 28th. I a ordered an all American with sugar free syrup and my wife ordered a cobb my plate was missing syrup and eggs. My wife went to talk to server as I am an amputee .when she got there the Cook gave attitude. Not professional as there being only 2 other tables that already had their food. I live in Crestline and could have easily gone to Crestline cafe or top town but we saw your reviews and decided to give you a try. Server made no attempt to make good on their mistake.. by the time my eggs arrived which was around 10 minutes my food was getting cold.we gave you a chance. Cook makes this plate every day, so who sends out a plate with no eggs UPDATE: spoke with owner Martin who is making it right
