I was having an awful day, thanks for making it better. Food was yummy.
I had the breakfast burrito yesterday and I'm back today for another delicious and fresh the best around.
Best burrito I'm the Burrito Triangle. It starts with the tortillas. You will not find a better burrito. If you order an XL, you better pack your appetite.
Just moved to highland. Ran across this restaurant with a lot of customers so we tried them. Loved it
The burritos are some of the best I've ever had, and the price is fair enough. They are a bit runny though and prone to opening.
The staff are great and friendly plus the breakfast burritos are really good especially the sausage one. Overall no complaints at all which this Mexican restaurant.
Rosa Maria is my go to place to eat dinner every time I get an opportunity when I’m working at the clinic. I get classic service every single time. Everyone has been helpful, but especially Sophie and Bonnie, who have been incredibly helpful, kind, and loving. I am a huge fan and will continue to be a fan of Rosa Maria’s.
My husband snd I go to Rosa Maria’s every 3 weeks or so. We like going to the one in Highland better than Redlands. The one in Redlands where we live, they would start cleaning, sweeping, and putting chairs on the tables while people are still eating, 20 minutes before closing. They need to start cleaning up when they close and there aren’t customers in the restaurant. The Highland location is larger and they don’t start cleaning up while people are there eating. The food is great and service is fast and the staff is courteous. I usually get the # 5 which is a meal of one chicken taco and a cheese enchilada, beans and rice.
This is one of my comfort foods when I'm in San Bernardino. I pretty much grew up eating here with friends, family or by myself for a quick bite. I used to stick to the classics... The garbage burritos and the beef taquitos with the avocado sauce (can't really call it guac and that's ok). Over the last couple of years, I've branched out to the chili relleno burrito. It still has the tasty pork green chili inside. And their hot sauce is unusual and addictive. Oh, and on the weekends they make a fabulous menudo. Even my mother, who thought she doesn't like tripe, loves the stuff.
This is a very nice Mexican food restaurant, the employees were always very nice and very helpful and the food is fantastic, this is one of three Rosa Maria’s foods restaurant, I love their green chili Verde burrito wet style, so if you’re looking for a great burrito and great service then give these people a try, eat local, buy local ,shop local.
I ordered the Chile Verde Nachos. They had a great taste. I thought I was eating Chile Verde Chilaquiles. As for the nachos once I got past the top layer of chips the rest of them were soggy. Nachos is a finger food, I literally had to eat them with a fork like a plate of Chilaquiles. If It had some over easy eggs on top it would've been a perfect plate of Chilaquiles!!! Nachos - 7.5 Chilaquiles - 9.0
This morning, I ordered a chorizo and egg potato and cheese burrito. I noticed the flour tortilla was not freshly handmade. I’ve been to other Rosa’s Marie and I can tell the difference maybe that tortilla was from the yesterday. I don’t know, but it didn’t taste freshly the flour tortilla.
It wasn't as good as it used to be, burrito was small for a 14$ price🙄and had very little chille verde meat in it, was mostly beans, and although l ordered X cheese, still was skimpy on the cheese🙄The Rosa Maria's in the north end on off of 40th is better then the one in Highland on bolder
If I could out 0 I would. Couple of coworkers and I went in and paid 17$ for a drink and a wet chile relleno burrito. First off the make it default w pork. Thats new. I ordered a REGULAR chile relleno burrito they added pork. Big no. Asked them to correct it and they hesitated. I’ve been to Mexican places and they never added pork unless you tell them to. I’m vegetarian so that’s the point of the chile relleno burrito. Once they fixed it my burrito was dispicable and SMALL. Chile relleno was disgusting slimey and barely a chile in site w curdled looking reheated cheese. The breading was soggy and no flavor but as if it was already like that. Tortilla was not even toasted up correctly so the overly priced burrito was not even staying to form and falling apart . This place is over priced and disgusting
Rosa mariia burritos are so small now they won’t fill up a kid it’s not worth the price. Im very disappointed. I’ve been going there for 42 years but it’s been this way the last four or five times
Horrible experience today which has never happened ever my birthday was yesterday and every year I get a Rosa Marias burrito since I was a kid it’s been my tradition sometimes all I look forward to on my birthday and they were closed 1/4/2026 so I thought okay they would honor it on 01/05/2026 and not be stingy an uptight but no the old lady at the counter was very rude and unprofessional and was acting like it was coming out of her paycheck
I got a chile relleno burrito, I asked for sour cream, guacamole and rice with beans, paid for 2 of the same kind. I some home only got one and a half? This will be the last time I come here
This is NOT Authentic mexican food! I was expecting actual Mexican tacos ! Mind you they don't have any condiments like cilantro, onions, lemons etc besides some "hot sauce" that's supposed to be mexican salsa, it taste like water. The meats are limited, only 2 options of meat. The quesadilla was pouring water, soggy mess hardly any cheese.Your better off going to Taco Bell at this point.
This absolutely the best food for the person who likes to wait an hour for their food. The food is very delicious if you like plain and bland Mexican food. The burritos are filled with nothing but rice and beans no meat at all. I would never recommend this place to someone I love, only my enemies deserve this type of food. Not authentic at all
I went to Rosa Maria's #2, located on Boulder Ave. in Highland for the first time today, Friday, March 8, 2024 at 4:55pm (receipt attached). I ordered a chile relleno burrito. I asked if they can add carne asada and Oscar, the cashier, said they can only add pork or chicken. I told him no thanks I just want the Chile relleno. As I was driving home eating my burrito in traffic, I came across what felt like meat. To my dismay, I look down and see what looks like pork meat (picture attached). For religious reasons I do not eat pork and have not had any for more than 5 years. I called the establishment and spoke to Alex and she said they can issue me a refund and replace it with something else for my hassle of time and gas. I don't live in Highland so I had to get off the freeway in heavy Friday afternoon traffic. I went back and found out from Alex that they don't ask customers if they want chicken or pork . They assume that if a customer orders a "chile relleno burrito" that they want pork in it. They don't bother to ask customers. I asked Alex, how was I supposed to know that? I am a brand new customer, so how was I supposed to know that is how Rosa Maria operates? Not to mention, I did tell Oscar that I only wanted a chile relleno after he told me that they don't use carne asada, only pork or chicken. I told him I only wanted the Chile relleno. I am so upset and absolutely shocked that such a large establishment with multiple locations can be so unprofessional, unethical, careless with their menu, terrible customer service and sloppy food preparation. There are many people that don't eat pork for religious reasons and it is NOT okay for them to just ASSUME that everyone is down with eating pork when you order a "Chile relleno burrito." The menu states we have an option for chicken OR pork but the employees do not bother to ask, they just assume you want pork when you order a "Chile relleno burrito." To void this problem they should consider being more specific and clear on their menu and have a category on the main menu just for pork burrito and a category just for chicken burrito written out. Currently they just have Chile relleno written on the main menu with very small font writing at the very top of the menu saying chicken or pork inside parenthesis. But it doesn't matter because the cashier Oscar never asked me which meat I wanted and he never confirmed with me what meat choice I would have. The number they give you for your order doesn't have anything on it except for the number. The receipt they gave me doesn't say exactly what I ordered either (attached picture of receipt). So there is no way I would have known that they were going to give me pork. This isn't right to mislead customers. They have to be direct and clear with their communication. The cashier can't just decide for themselves what customers will have to eat. They MUST obtain CONSENT from the customer ALWAYS. Alex mentioned when I returned for my money back that their green sauce also has pork in it. She wanted to give me another burrito and she refused to give me anything else, so again she mislead me because that is not what she said over the phone. I do not trust their food preparation anymore because it sounds like they just add pork so carelessly to their food. I turned down another burrito from Alex and I just got my money back. Needless to say, I will NEVER return to any Rosa Maria establishments and I will be advising people not to go there. I lost my time, my gas, missed an important meeting appointment, and walked out feeling violated of my religious convictions. Feeling so angry 😡 and extremely disrespected from my first experience at Rosa Maria restaurant. The way they mislead with their menu and their horrific customer service should be illegal.
