I went to this place 3x this month at different days & times. Each time We were all extremely happy with the whole experience. Our waitors were all so cordial and very aware of our needs the whole time. The food and drinks were top notch. The dining room and bathrooms were very clean. We have made this location a regular stop whether it is lunch, dinner or just drinks and an appetizer. Thanks to the entire staff. Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the music and the decor of this location. 🙂💜

Dandy and glamorous place. Emma is a great bartender! Bar is too small tho, they should move it to another spot in the restaurant and expand it so more people can come and have a drink with Emma, and me too! Bathroom is fine, nothing to write home about. Unless you love restaurant bathrooms and your friends and family would like to receive a letter about that kind of thing.

Went here with my wife for our anniversary. Food was great, great atmosphere and the jumbo margarita for two was on point. Nice lovely addition of live music playing from the mariachi on site when we went.

I’m always happy after dinning at don quijote. Never fails. Today I was my first time getting it delivered to my home (Uber eats) and I felt like I was dinning in the restaurant. Complementary chips and salsa were included in today’s delivery like served in the restaurant and it felt just right. Rest of the food was perfect.

The food was made fresh and delicious. I had the fish tacos. The wings are yummy,I don't know what kind of sauce they put on the side but it's so tasty. The staff is kind and we were all taken care of.

Food is very good but Staff here puts this place above any other Mexican Restaurant in the area. They really make you feel like family. The guitar player serenaded my kids and gave them maracas to play along. Every time we come the Staff is always smiling and makes the entire experience fun for us.

The cuisine here is consistently exceptional. Unfortunately, my beverage today fell short of expectations. However, our server Nelson went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. He not only arranged for a replacement but also took the initiative to craft a drink he believed I would enjoy. His kindness and professionalism made our evening truly memorable. We look forward to requesting his service again next week.

Don Quixote is a very nice restaurant that doesn't feel ordinary. It is a bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the food and the service you get. Feeling like a privately owned main chain restaurant similar to Mi Tierita or Pollos Marios. I will definitely be returning and they're flan is amazing.

We used to come to Meson Ole for Margaritas at the bar and missed that after it closed so it was a pleasant surprise to see after a long day of Christmas shopping that Don Quijotes had taken over the place. Upon entering you could see how refreshed and inviting it appeared. The margaritas and appetizers did not disappoint.

The food here is delicious. I revisited this restaurant again the day before new years eve but have been here other times in the past with friends and it is always great. Prices are a bit steep but you get big portions. We started with jalapeño poppers which were crisp and delicious, the portion was twice the size that it is at other Mexican restaraunts. Not a big fan of the salsa that's served with the chips here. My husband and I each had 2 margaritas and they were great. I had a combination vegetarian for dinner and he had the chicken enchiladas. The food was excellent. Our server also gave us a shot of tequila each on the house. Love this spot.

We pick up our meals and have always been happy with our food. You pay more but the portions are deserving of the cost. People are always very pleasant and polite.

Solid Mexican/Latin food that's a tad too pricey. Their burritos are MASSIVE, however, so you'll feel like you're really getting your money's worth if you order one. Ambiance is laid back with a small bar at the front of the restaurant.

I've been to the Miller place location and the Patchogue location. We took my grandma there recently everything was delicious. Stuffed plantain, and fried Calamari for appetizers, huge portions! The calamari was perfectly cooked not chewy, and had a delicious spicy dipping sauce. I got the seafood paella which was good but not amazing. All the entrees were large portions. They messed up my grandma's dinner but she enjoyed it anyway. The drinks were good, and we got fried ice cream and banana tropical for dessert which was both very good. We will come back again.

We were out at a Drs appointment and they ordered from there so we decided to have lunch there. Very welcoming, and plenty of food. I only gave the rating because I'm limited due to lactose free and gluten free restrictions. I requested a change on the food they brought me out which I told them no cheese they brought it back correctly but it was dried hard to eat and not tasty. I was hoping for a popping party in my mouth menu. I'll go back another time. But my friend thoroughly enjoyed her 🍜 Oh surprisingly the place was empty. But service and attentiveness was A1.

Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time considering how many tables needed to be taken care of. Our server Nelson was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my paella and the Tres Leche cake. Overall a pleasant experience.

The best Margaritas, Red Sangria and awesome food. Love the fajitas, chips, and their steak! They were very crowded, two years later still. Still great margaritas. I would recommend going in a day not so crowded. Took a long time to get served but they were very gracious.

Margarita’s, the magical drink at a Mexican restaurant! Frozen and salted and not to be disappointed here - delicious! Add in some fresh Avacado and the meal is off and running! Attentive and friendly service and a fun “birthday” ceremony (if it’s your special day). Nice portions, good food. Enjoy!

Atmosphere, food, drinks were all superb. A bit pricey compared to when it was Meson Ole'. Love the Red Sangria! Two people was about $75 with no appetizer and a 1/2 pitcher of Sangria. Would have given more stars but I feel the prices are too high and I've been in the industry for almost 40 years.

The inside is maintained very nicely and the staff if friendly. I was not impressed with my dinner but can tell that their dishes are made with love and always look presentable. Their bar area is rather small but does fill up - overall a bit too expensive though.

Its Spanish and Mexican dishes and very good, but check out the bar prices before you order and hopefully it will be bartenders that know how to fix a drink. I have to change my review. They now have happy hour at bar and tables till 6. And a great bartender. Plenty of excellent staff with fast service. Our dishes came out and tasty.

Well the food was flavored well, it was good. But the steak cuts were very bad. I couldn't chew or bite of pieces bc it was so stringy (nerves) and unevenly, some parts were tender while others overcooked. I also had two different types chicken. One was cooked very well juicy and tender. While the other was dry dry, hard to chew without drinking water. The Staff was nice. The waiter however was absent the majority of the time! If I'm not mistaken he was at our table 3/4 times the whole time. As nice as the staff might be, not being available when needed defeats all the smiles.

Im giving 2 stars because the service was good but the food was bad. The enchilladas suiza was really bad, it tasted off like sour, i took one bite then didn't eat it. They took it off the bill which was nice of them. My friends said their stomach hurt after the food and mine did too.

Paella must have been under the broiler before being served to us. It was barely edible. Everything we got was too overcooked to enjoy. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, so 2 stars for that. I hate leaving reviews like this and I rarely do, but I was so disappointed. It was a busy night last night, so maybe the food is fantastic on a night that's not so busy.

Sugar in Mexican food? I ordered steak fajitas, which came on a sizzling cast iron pan, looked great. Had everything covered in a sauce which is not typical for fajitas, they should be dry seasoned. The sauce was like a syrupy sweet BBQ sauce, weird! I called the waiter over to comment that I've never had fajitas in a sauce, let alone with sugar in it. Sugar does not belong in it. My wife had enchiladas, they too were beautifully prepared, but again sugar in the sauce?? Mexican food entree recipes and sauces NEVER contain sugar. Look any of them up. Sorry, even though the ingredients, preparation, and everything else is good about this restaurant, the sweet sauces turned both of us off, we won't be returning.

Ordered take out, my husband's was decent just lacked sauce. My order however, was hardly a burrito, I ordered the Santa Fe burrito and it was all yellow rice, one hunk of "pulled chicken" I couldn't find but 2 beans and a few sparse chips inside. They also forgot my chips. At twenty something dollars for just the burrito it was sad and not worth it at all.

I’m very disappointed. I’ve came here times before and the service was always good yet this recent visit was unpleasant. A new server, I haven’t seen before took our order, we had a reservation at 7, we got seated and she did not take our drink order till 20 mins into us being seated. After taking our drink order, our drinks did not come till we had to ask her to bring them. She did not take our food order for another 20 mins. After taking our food order, we waited for another 25 mins just for her to bring our appetizer. Our food order did not come out after 45 mins, we had to recurrently ask her if our food was almost ready. I understand that restaurants are busy, yet it seems off to me that everyone else who was served by her who arrived after us, received their food and service quicker than us. I’m truly disappointed, this was one of my top restaurants.

My family and I went for a nice Sunday dinner but left completely dissatisfied. The food was very bland. They charged 2.50 for each soda and each refill without telling us. I ordered chicken milanese and it was burnt. One person in my party ordered an enchilada but received a spicy burrido. The food had small portions and was very over priced. They spilled salad dressing and were just going to leave it there. The only good thing from our night was the singing guitar man.

I had gone on to a search and came upon DonQuijote.Looked good ! The bar tender and barmaid where so nice drinks where great. We place our orders.The salad ,appetizers and main course all come out the same time .Missing on appetizer. The 2 orders of tacos where soggy,chicken dish was like leather,Burrito had no taste. Maybe they where having a bad day.But all our food was very disappointing We will never go back.Taco Bell would have been better..

They charge double their price on DoorDash and it’s absolutely absurd. This soup was 24 dollars with tax, not even the DoorDash fees. I was expecting at least a quart size. They’re actually out of their mind

I was excited to try this new restaurant. WORST SERVICE EVER. When I got my food, it tasted like complete DISH SOAP! Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Besitos and Margaritas are 1000x better, if you’re looking for great Mexican food.

The staff was very nice but the food was awful. My husband is Hispanic and couldn’t even finish his plate. Felt like the food was microwaved or something I would be cooking at home. Very over priced as well. Will not be returning.

The menu is a lie. Do not expect the descriptions to be accurate. I ordered tacos that listed pulled pork, sauce and fried onions, but when it came out it was also covered in RAW onions, tomatoes and cilantro. If you dislike any food component I would highly suggest asking the waiter for a more accurate description of the plate you plan to choose.

One star for a pleasant Walter. Otherwise, everything we ate in this restaurant, including the margaritas, were terrible. All of the food was pre packaged, processed, and bought from a supermarket --nothing was fresh. They charged $12 for a small portion of guacamole that was obviously store-bought and packaged (with preservatives etc ). Freshly made food is the reason I eat out so I was incredibly disappointed to find store-bought products liked salsa from a jar (think old el paso) at restaurant prices. Even the jalapeño garnish was from a can, not fresh jalapeño. The margaritas were made from a mix with tequila added. Again, I expect an expensive restaurant to actually make the food that they serve. Lastly, all of the food was incredibly sweet. My enchiladas sueza tasted like sweet cheese blintzes. Hidden sugar in food is utterly unnecessary and causes so many health problems. So disappointed after reading many good reviews on this restaurant.

This used to be my absolute favorite place. I don't know what happened to it. The food is no longer of the same quality, the drinks are awful. The service which used to be impeccable, comparable to five star restaurants is shoddy at best. They used to have this wonderful house dressing and now their house is balsamic. Nothing like the quality it used to be. I have spoken to multiple people who agree and we have all stopped frequenting here.

I don't usually give reviews on restaurants, much less bad ones. For the price, the food should be a lot better than it is. The only thing that tasted the way it should was the rice and beans...and I mean good on them for that, but jeez. The tacos I ordered were bland tasting and the salsa was liquidy. The guac was 100% NOT fresh. It tasted like if someone added sugar to it or something. Very disappointed, but Avocados is just down the road anyway. Also, the first time I called to put in an order I got hung up on. Don't know what the deal is.

Made a lunch reservation for 2 for my birthday. Showed up and the place was completely closed. As soon as we got there we thought it was weird that there was only one car and no tables were set up. Front door was locked and no one picked up the phone. Not even sure how that even happens but none the less I was obviously very upset.

How does this place get the business it does. Tons of staff standing around. Service is minimum and slow. Food was horrid. Returned everything I got after finally being attended to. Then raised the price on the food I did pay for which was who I was with and with an attitude. No one pays no mind to you the whole time. And there's plenty of them standing around but when the bill comes and again overcharged they stare when you pay the bill when it comes time to tip. Horrible food and even worse service. I don't understand how this place thrives. Never again!!!

A fight broke out while various families were dining there. Police had to be called. Staff was alerted to rising tensions but kept bringing out drinks to the belligerents and didn't take any action until it was too late. Waited almost an hour and a half to receive food, and a few drinks were forgotten. Meals were overcooked and dry. Staff seemed irritated ever since we arrived. Automatic 18% tip added to 4+ people. When we tried to talk to the manager about our experience, we kept getting responses from various staff saying they couldn't find him. Overall low quality for a place charging the prices they charge. Would not recommend.

Food is bland . Everything I ordered was mediocre. Wasn't worth the high price, at all. I don't know how they are still in business. Any spanish food place around is better then Don Quiojote. I'm not coming back.
