Was extremely impressed with quality of food at this location and fast. Busiest Bill Millers I have seen by far at lunchtime and everything was on point and everyone was taken care of fast and efficient!!!
We were looking for a quick place for breakfast and found Bill Miller’s. I counted over a dozen workers all working at a fast pace. The restaurant was clean and cool inside. I read that the portions were small but I didn’t think so, considering the inexpensive price. Under $3.00 each and all had a delicious flavor. I would recommend going there. The one we went to was near The Cascade Caverns in Boerne, TX.
We placed an order on Father’s Day. My husband picked up the order, got home and found they forgot to put out meats we selected. I called the store and let them know. The manger personally took care of us made sure everything we ordered was ready and gave us a whole pie too! Thank you so much!!!
Always delicious 😋 we drive down from Kerrville just for Bill Miller! It's amazing to see everyone working so hard in the kitchen to get orders filled for the restaurant & the drive thru 😀

Food was good well as expected for a fast food BBQ restaurant
Wanted to update my previous review of this location. Orders have been more accurate, sweet tea has been far more consistent. Today for the first time in a long time I received an incorrect order but was resolved professionally and rapidly by the team and the manager. Thank y'all.
Great people and even greater food. I've been eating Bill Millers since I was in the womb and for 49 years since. Some will say oh it's fast food BBQ ," but I will say it is always consistent, and I'm never disappointed. And shall I say in my opinion there isn't better sweet tea in all of Texas.
I visit this Bill Miller's frequently. It is a convenient location for me and I am a Bill Miller's tea fanatic. I just had to do a review today to recognize Maddie. She is an outstanding employee. She is so friendly, always has a smile and a great attitude. She does an amazing job and it always makes my day when I see her at the drive-thru. All of the employees I have encountered at this location are great, but Maddie is just exceptional. Thanks!
Wanted to give 5 star shout out to Josh an employee at Bill Miller. He went above and beyond making sure our order that we waited for was accurate and complete to our satisfaction. Its pretty hard to get great customer service from people anymore at some places. Thanks Josh.
I ordered take out from here. I was visiting from the NYC area. The carne guisada was fantastic. The green beans, potato salad, and BBQ brisket were also excellent. Everything I tried was good. Everything was packed well and the order was exactly correct.

I went through the Drive Thru and ordered a Rancho Plate during the evening, and it tasted good. I would not say that this is the best BBQ I have had. However, it's decent and the portioned amount is adequate. Overall, I would say this is probably one of the best Bill Millers in the San Antonio/Boerne region, and I would recommend it for anyone. I will return in the future. Great Job Bill Millers Team!

Just a quick drive-thru because we love the iced tea. Decided on lunch, a chicken sandwich combo and Wild Bill combo. Chicken sandwich was pleasantly moist and tasty. The Wild Bill is a brisket and sausage sandwich. A generous and enjoyable meat medley along their sauce (can be a little messy). Their coleslaw is a tangy vinegar based side, very refreshing.
It’s Bill Millers. If you’re a Texan you know what to expect. While the food isn’t the most amazing bbq it’s reasonably priced and portioned, pretty fast and very consistent. I have a very picky toddler so we eat here way more than I would like, and the staff is always extremely friendly and I would say out of 100 visits we have only had missing food twice (drive through, again, toddler) The last time I went through the drive thru a young lady named Bella was working and she was incredibly nice and even asked if I needed salsa that I forgot to ask for at the intercom. Oh and the pancakes here are really good.

It's ok but not great. Mac-n-cheese is fine on a good day and fried chicken is ok. I'll eat here if a friend wants to eat here but I won't choose it and certainly won't encourage others to go there.
We came in for breakfast on Sunday, ( first time visitor), it was so good we wanted to try lunch, sadly, it was not near as good. Ordered the beef brisket, more fat than meat. I would still recommend for breakfast but I don’t think I’ll be back for other meals.
The food is and always has been delicious, my favorite for bbq but also love their fried chicken. The people working were very polite and helpful only problem I had was my order was not complete.

I worked at bills briefly for one of my first jobs and I go to them religiously. I just moved to Boerne from Helotes and go to this location weekly. The look and inside is nice and clean as it is new. The service is mostly mid as most of the workers I talked to are kind but get confused. The main issue is the food. I order brisket & bacon tacos and just get bacon tacos. The chipotle ranch at this location is the Main issue for us. It is legit always like this and we don’t understand it as we pay for the “extra”. We called and let a Mgr know incase they are unaware. This new sauce is a personal fav so it sucks that the main new reason to go ends in a wasted trip/money 89%of the time. -Wing-stop Ranch -Bills chipotle ranch Top 2 for me. I said what I said.

My one-year-old’s bean and cheese taco was toasted for some reason?? It was burnt on the bottom and hard inside. I had to cut most of it off and throw it away. The young woman operating the drive-thru service may be inexperienced, thus I am inclined to overlook her lack of knowledge pertaining to meal combinations. However, it is quite disconcerting that despite explicitly requesting a plain sandwich without any onions or pickles, I am still provided with sandwiches that contain these ingredients. This oversight suggests a lack of concern for the well-being and satisfaction of customers. What if I had an allergy to onions and pickles?
Make sure you check your order before leaving. I’ve tried this location multiple times, and to say it is hit or miss is being polite.. If I am going be charged 45 cents for cheese on a taco, I expect there to be cheese AND a taco. Seems they are more concerned with wait times than making sure your order is accurate and up to quality.
Ordered dinners on line Picked up food at Boerne location Wished I had checked the bag because there are three items missing I discovered when I got home one of them being my brisket Went back to get refund Manager there had no authority to refund my money and had to call someone They promised it would be back on card in few days now I’m waiting to see if they don’t forget to do that like they did my food
Well if you need a BBQ fix then it will work. You will get baked meat and ok sides. They have forgotten where their roots may have started? Is Bill still alive? Not a place for real foodies or BBQ lovers and seekers. Keep driving.
Ordered 1/2 pound of brisket and a large unsweetened tea in the drive through. They gave us sweet tea. We wanted wrap to go silverware and the manager said they didn’t have wrap silverware. We noticed that the staff were not wearing gloves. We received the wrong order and had to give it back to them. We finally got the 1/2 brisket. We are not coming back to this place. I ordered a cowboy breakfast to go. The Boerne location was not all that busy. The server tossed my order on the counter as she walked by. The biscuit required a knife to cut. Poor experience overall. Do better.
Worse customer service ever tonight! By some new guy who was in a hurry rushing me. He repeated my order when I pulled up to the window but I didn't hear him because he was facing the other direction. Then he replied rudely by saying 'I told you, your order was.....' ! Your weekend staff is very unprofessional. This employee is in the wrong business/ profession! The employees name said Bell, but im not sure if that was his name!! This location has changed over the past 2 months!!
The chicken is good, but Omg if you have ever had good bar b que. Do not think for a second that this place is anything like that. Food is not good but it will fill your stomach if you just need bar b que. The people are great place is well maintained. But the bar b que needs alot of help sides were not good. I even decided I would at least try the pie to atleast get something good out of this place OMG it was a complete let down also.
I keep trying to give them a chance, but every time I want a BBQ chicken salad for lunch, they put the driest, overcooked, hard chicken as the portions. Not just today, but the last 3 times I've gone. I will not go back.
I think coming to this Bill Miller’s in Boerne is very unpredictable. Sometimes you get bad service, sometime you get raw chicken , And sometimes you get both I picked up at 10 piece fry chicken , When I came home we start eating it. Half of that chicken order was raw , and my vegetable beef soup had no meat in it at all . Im taking my business to Rudy’s BBQ Oh , by the way , Josh the manager wanted to see the food and or a picture.. here it is Josh
Nastiest bill Miller's lobby I've been in lately. Went to 4 tables before giving up on finding a clean salt shaker. Literally old food on all of them. Asked for a side of sauce that didn't come out. Had to go up and ask again. Lobby is gross. I'd hate to see the kitchen. Bathrooms disgusting
(Update at the end of review) This location has good food and is very clean, here's the problem: Breakfast tacos that are not tacos, but taquitos! Employees are rude, have a smug attitude and if you show them how small the portions you receive are, they could care less and say that is what they are supposed to give you. If this is the case, then my money will go elsewhere, where you get what you pay for! My opinion is that if the "bad" employees are removed, everything will improve dramatically. (Update) Spoke to a representative from the corporate headquarters and they don't see a problem. If they don't see a problem with skimpy portions, higher prices and the rude employees, then I have no problem no longer being a customer! (Great business model!)
Kinda stinks when you may so much for an extra portion of Cole slaw and the little container is already so small because they redid their portion sizes to push the inside up on then to have the lid pushing down so that the employees can’t put too much in the portion cups. But then to open it up and it to be half full is ridiculous. Come on Bill Miller’s, that’s highway robbery.

We had stepped away to use the bathroom briefly. Our plates were mostly untouched. But the food plates got tossed in trash. I asked for a remake from Sinjoe and who said it was not possible with an attitude. I'm not happy with this customer service
They messed up my order HORRENDOUSLY 4 separate times. Its my own fault for going back every single time. But in about the 10 trips ive made, they got my order wrong 40% of the time. And not just slightly wrong, but entirely backwards. How do you get an "all dark meat" order and then make it all white every time... Messed up on sides as well before or forgot something. They also charge ridiculous prices.
Ordered the #5 poorboy sandwich. It had absolutely no flavor. I thought bbq was supposed to have a robust smoky flavor. Not here. Very disappointed, I will never eat here again. Should change the name to Bill Miller Meat because that ain’t BBQ!
Went in this morning as got ugly looks as soon as I walked through the door by the employee named AUDREY. Had a stank face the whole time we were waiting in line. Then as we ordered she wasn’t paying no attention. SNATCHED the money out my hand with attitude. Then proceeded to ask me to repeat my order back to her and she still got it wrong. If your employee is gonna have such a horrible attitude with people she needs to be put in the back where there are no people interactions. Do better Audrey
Ordered bbq chicken plate for me and my husband. All the chicken pieces were red and raw. When I lodged a complaint I was told that’s how it is.the replacement pieces of chicken were also raw Also ordered chicken tamales. They were also terrible. Would not recommend this place!
