Aslyn & Lyra Pfziffer are PHENOMENALLY AMAZING!! I went there tonight with an order for 10 people. Aslyn rocked it she was running that place with 1 cook in the back her and 2 other employees. There was a older man there who was the manager he just stood at the drive through window register coughing and even hacking to the point he opened the drive through window and spit a lougee out it. Luckily he didn't touch any of the food that was being prepared while I there. Aslyn was beautifully delegating. Her and Lyra had everything all labeled and ready to go. Not a single order was messed up and I was in and out in about 10mins. Those two deserve a raise and whoever the closing manager was that tonight 12/5/2022 he needs to retake the food handlers class or be let go because the amount of coughing he was doing at the drive through registered on top of spitting out the drive through was disgusting and extreme gross.

Whomever was working today Friday at the dairy Queen in boerne Texas is the best manager ever or shift leader my order was quick hot tasty I can't say enough about whoever was working right now at this time at 2:36 p.m. the best dairy Queen I've ever been to in My Life. This is my second visit here since I don't live near, and these employees work hard. I saw some of them laughing and messing around but they still get the job done and fast too. If I was their boss I would not mind a few laughs over quality service.

Picked up ice cream cake for employee's birthday tomorrow. Several to select from and they graciously wrote Happy Birthday on it. Can't go wrong with a DQ ice cream cake!!!

My high rating is for their tacos. I had the taco combo which included a drink & dessert. Their tacos are crispy & pretty tasty. I quit ordering hamburgers there because they are always cold. The young lady that took my order had a smile on her face as she took my order & as she delivered my tacos to my table. A good experience.

I came by on my lunch break at 3:00 p.m. on a Wednesday. The lobby was closed due to staffing shortages. My vehicle will not fit through the drive-thru as it is too tall. I called the restaurant on the phone inform them I just wanted an ice cream cone but I'm too big to fit through the drive-thru. Dude came and open the door for me so I can get an ice cream cone when it's 100° outside. That is awesome.

Food was great! Ordered a steak finger basket, chicken finger basket and a side of jalitos, with a blizzard. Everything was delicious. Just be patient with the staff, just like everywhere else they are short staffed but they were awesome and friendly.

Dairy Queen and Texas, they just go together! The fish strip basket was not their best. The chicken strip basket can't beat except maybe by the tacos or the taco salad. And top your meal off with an ice cream treat! Fantastic soul satisfying food! Women's restroom was clean and neat. Dining area was charming and tables were cleared as soon as patrons left. Family friendly.

We were traveling back home from Kerville and decided to stop for dinner. We were very impressed with the service. Food came out fast and the order was correct. Restaurant was clean as well as the restroom. I wish all daily queens were this nice.

I went here recently for a peanut buster parfait but they don't come in a small size. The employee gave me a very useful tip and said I could order a mini sundae and add peanuts. Total game changer!

8/24/24 We stopped by Dairy Queen in Boerne for a cool treat, and it was the perfect choice. We enjoyed a strawberry banana Blizzard, a banana split, and an Oreo Blizzard. Each treat was delicious, and we all left satisfied.The restaurant and restrooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was a great experience and we look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for a sweet treat! 🍦

I went through the Drive Thru and ordered a Belt Buster and Hunger Buster. The food came out fresh and it was delicious. However, they are understaffed and the wait at the drive thru was over 10 mins. Additionally, the building is outdated and I would highly recommend to the franchise owner to give the building a facelift. It felt as though it was a blast from the past. Overall, I would recommend this location to anyone as the food was made right and I will return in the future.

I like this place and my wife and I came here right before we got married. The food us good. It's typically busy here, but it's worth the wait.

Good price on a medium soft serve cone, but they only have vanilla - no chocolate and no chocolate vanilla twist.

Dairy Queen has actually surprised me. Out of all the sub-par eating establishments in this town, they have improved. While the wait is always 5 min+ for your food, it is always hot and fresh made. Which does not happen in the fast food industry. Worth the wait, but I don't recommend if you're in a hurry.

The service in the drive through was very slow. The Blizzards were good as usual.

First off let me say if you want to use a rewards app here, DO NOT DOWNLOAD the standard DQ app -- it's no good here-- you need to download the DQ TEXAS app. This place has long line at times but moves fast (usually). Polite and knowledgeable staff. Minus one star for the massive pothole right at the drive-thru exit -- been there for years and is completely unavoidable -- not what I like about Texas.

The food is always good at DQ. The service was prompt, considering that they were obviously understaffed. They worked as hard as they could to keep up with orders.

What's not to love about DQ? Drove through the drive through with my 2 big dogs and we each got a soft serve cone. Theirs were in dishes. Yum!

Usually pretty okay. I gave it 4 stars before but I've took one off because last time I was there I got chicken strips, but they weren't hot at all the breading tasted like sand. The employees seem to be in a constant state of suffering as well, trying to get me out of the line as soon as possible and talking impolitely, always clearly showing that they are extremely annoyed I'm even there. It's a hit or miss if the food will be okay and its a guarantee that you'll feel like you're a huge annoyance for the staff.

They have changed managers again...my wife has dementia and had a time ordering and the manager thought it was funny. My wife ordered a blizzard also to be picked up after we ate my wife ordered a pecan cluster, she said we don't have it .....if it is not on the board we don't have it .....rude and a crazy smile . we should had gone to where we were going first....very nice there .WHATABURGER NO MORE DAIRY QUEEN. Wow…..customer service so, so lacking. Went to the counter to order a cone, and the gentleman (Melvin) who waited on me could use a crash course in how to “meet & greet” customers. Two other girls were too busy chatting amongst themselves and carrying on.

Seriously not great. Worst Blizzards ever. Someone of the chain should really teach this location how to make them correctly. It’s also extremely difficult to get in and out of this location.

Checked the Google listing for the hours of operation which stated that they close at 11 PM. I made the 15 minute drive and took orders from everybody at a family gathering only to show up to see them closed at 9:30. When I pulled up to the window, they ignored me so I knocked a couple of times. I was then greeted by a rude employee that told me that they’re closed and have been closing early for months now due to the lack of help. My question is, if this has been an ongoing issue why aren’t the hours of operation updated on the Google listing so that other people don’t drive there for nothing?

Blizzards barely have anything in them. Not even a quarter snickers in either of ours.

Know that the times listed for closing are not correct. Have try to stop by 8:45-9:00 and place is closed. Just called to see when they closed and they picked up phone then hung up. Made a mission of calling them back. After picking up the phone and hanging up 4x the 5th time they answered. Was rude about me asking. Seen them close the drive through while eatting my blizard in my truck on a Saturday at 8:40pm. It takes me 25 min to get there. Not chancing it . Will drive to Blanco it's 45min , am done with this one. Wonder if corporate is ok with how this is run.... Not sure why there is a star for atmosphere the dine-in has been closed for going on 3yrs.

Okay food, great desserts... However, the place is simply quite dirty, you can seriously barely walk in there because the floors are so sticky! It is possible that the floors have never been cleaned since the place opened (which was not recent). Overall, a 2/5 place for their desserts.

Gave this DQ another chance 7/22/25 . Why! Once again stuck in the drive thru now 20 minutes waiting 2 cars in front of us 4 behind us and no way to get out. You have to feel for the staff😞 Someone needs to help the drive thru learn how to be more efficient. Stuck at drive thru 17 minutes 6 cars behind us. Just went through to get kiddos some food. There was a hair in the gravy, a small hair in the blizzard on the soda cup. Very disappointing.

Google says this location closed at 10pm.. pulled up at 9:50pm to get ice cream for my kids and they are closed. Lights off and everything. Thats bad business.

Waited in drive thru for 33 minutes. It was a friday night. I understand being short handed but this was extremely too long. Could not get out of line to exit. I went ahead and ordered. When i got my food it was cold. I just fed it to my dog.

I walked there on a hot day at 6:15 because on the website it said it was open and when I got there I saw an employee leaving so I went to enter and the dining room was closed ok fine then the drive through was blocked NO ONE WAS THERE. If you are gonna close 4 hours early put a sign up there was door dasher waiting for 20 minutes to see if it would open again and ended up losing money.

Needs to stop serving food and stick to making ice cream only..... Me and my fiancé wanted to get a quick bite mainly because we wanted to get ice cream! I Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and he ordered a burger. First thing I thought was the chicken burger was kind of pricey compared to most fast food... When she brought them to the table the burgers were Barbie size and the fries were non exsistant. Now let's talk about taste.... N.A.S.T.Y. Didn't bother eating after one bite! The chicken was like RUBBER! And the fries tasted old and nasty. I wouldn't feed that meat to my dogs! Yuck! We took our money and went somewhere else and we won't be back. Not even for ice cream.

Multiple times, I have shown up to get food along with my mother. The window clerk was very rude, talking about her customers (us) with the window open where we can hear everything. All because we asked for a drink carrier, very rude.

I've tried this DQ only a few times and each time it seems like the quality has gone down. I don't really rate fast food especially during COVID since I know how staffing issues has affected all industries. But this last time I went, my fries were cold, and my burger had a bun SO stale it was inedible. The bun was no better than a crouton. How you wouldn't notice how HARD the bun was when you go to throw it on, is beyond me.

We asked for extra scoops of Ice Cream and we were not told the cost of the scoops. We had no idea it was .75 cents per scoop! So we were charged $5.25 for the extra when I went to talk with them about it I was treated like I was trying to get something fo “free”. When there’s a cost for something I would be best if they let the customer know there is a cost for the extra and let them know what the amount is per scoop. As a consumer it would be best for me to have been informed on what the cost was.

If you wanna a hot meal @ lunch time this waste your time @ this DQ they prepare the food before lunch then serve it all within a minutes of ordering. Then get upset when you complain that you like a hot meal rather than having something that they've had setting under the warmer. I would rated less than one star if that was a option! I will not go back!

Employee named Emily very disrespectful and rude. Placed cones on the counter instead of handing them to us. I asked if they were ours and she completely ignored me. She didn't speak to us at all and looked at us with a horrible expression on her face. I don't understand how Dairy Queen hires people like her with that type of attitude. On top of that, after I addressed it with her manager, he didn't offer any type of apology for the employees behavior! All he said was ok ma'am. Really???

Very disappointed. We bought a Reese's Blizzard ice cream cake and it had almost ZERO Reese's ice cream blizzard in it! It was almost ALL plain vanilla icecream. Their Blizzard ice cream cakes cost more than their regular ice cream cakes. The photos online show their Blizzard cakes as having the top half half of the cake with Reese's Blizzard ice cream, then a middle layer of cookie crumble, and then the bottom half is vanilla ice cream. Our cake was a thin layer of Reese blizzard ice cream on top, I mean probably less than half an inch of Reese's Blizzard, we could not even taste any Reese Blizzard flavor. The majority of the ice cream cake was plain vanilla. Not worth the extra money!

It’s 9:37 google say they’re open till 11 but the drive thru line is shut off. As I pulled away I see three employees, and management just hanging out in the dining area. These people just don’t care.

Ordered a Steak finger combo with extra cup of gravy. It took s second to drive around to the window. A second later I get my order, in which I thought it was fast service! The combo was cold!!!! The fires sitting out way too long they seriously were super cold and the gravy and bread as well the steak fingers were luke warm! I tried calling, but there was no answer! I should had return their combo! Never again, will I go there!

February 14, 2023 My family and I went out to get some ice cream here at this Boerne location, it was a simple order of dipped cones and a sundae. We went at around 1 so it wasn’t too busy. First they got the order wrong, that was corrected with hesitation from the older lady with white hair at the drive thru window. After that, the ice cream that was given to us looked like it was poorly done with little ice cream, when we ordered a medium. We let them know normally it comes with more. Once we spoke on it, (a man with dark hair and black top) pushed his head out the window and aggressively said “ we weigh them, that’s how they come”. The issue was not with the ice cream but how the staff seemed rushed and seeming like they were trying to get rid of us. Instead of trying to fix the problem, the guy was very rude. Needless to say we will not be going back after that interaction.

Called up to inform them that my taco combo of three had only one taco in the basket. A guy answered yeah, I said I was missing tacos so he put the phone down and then hung up. Called again went to fax machine, called back and they never answered the phone. Fish was over cooked and fries were cold. Only thing good is ice cream there. Will not come back.

I usually wouldn't leave a review for this, but my visit was rather unpleasant. I walked up to place my order, taken by Aaron. I asked him how his night was going and he just looked at me. Throughout ordering he said nothing, I said have a good night to which he replied "yeah". I understand it's fast food but it just wasn't the best start. The burger I ordered did have a good flavor, but the bun was really dry and tasted stale. Overall my visit was a let down, but it could have just been tonight based on other reviews I read.

Awful service. Took 25 minutes just to order another 15 minutes wait. Then the chocolate machine made the dip too thick.

I’m here right now, sitting in my car at the window in the drive-thru, listening to one of the female workers yell about how all of the cars waiting to be served can just go home. Now she’s yelling at another worker inside, telling them to turn all the lights off, and she just told the guy at the register that we already got all of our food and need to leave. We haven’t received anything at all. If you’re the manager of this establishment, please know there is a heavy-set, Hispanic employee who works the night shift, who is basically berating an entire line of cars at the top of her lungs. Will never return.

The worker at the drive through on 9/17/25 at 730PM was extremely rude. It was busy, and I’ve worked fast food so I understand. On pulling up to the speaker after a 10 min, I was told brusquely, ‘yah, wait.’ After another 10 mins of no comms and seeing the cars behind us all parking, I asked if we should come inside to see if the speaker was working and if that was preferred. No answer. So, I pulled up to the window. Was ignored for awhile. Then was scolded, ‘l told you to wait!’ At that point we no longer desired ice cream for our bday celebration and just left. I understand being busy, but simple courtesies to explain the wait and periodically checking in w waiting customers after 10-20 min isn’t hard and is part of the job.

40 minutes in the drive-thru and food and drinks had not even been started. To long of a wait so I left with nothing. Attempted to call and speak to a manager and was told the manager was not available I said I would hold she then informed me that there was no manager on the property while laughing and joking with others in the back ground. Real funny wasting people's time but I'm more interested about the no manager on the property no wonder such horrible service and lack of care by their bubble gum employees. So who was the CFM Certified Food Manager while the manager was not on site?

I just went thru the drive thru. An ordered a 6 piece tender basket and a blizzard. Almost 20 dollars for the meal. They made my blizzard first. An then I had to wait about 15 minutes for the rest of my food. An mind u they had one person inside getting an ice cream cone. An atleast 5 employees. An I get my food the fries are cold An soggy. My blizzard was already half melted by then. An the toast was half burnt An it was supposed to be 6 tenders. An it looked like they had split some in half they were so small. An the gravy u could tell had been sitting around bc it looked gelanatious. So more than half the meal was inedible. I heard this location wasent very good lately but I figured since they weren't busy id give it a try. That was a mistake. Slow or busy they have gone downhill. They should just close down to make room for a restaurant that has better standards or atleast bring in a manager from another location to fix this place. Bc right now theyre just wasting money on lazy employees.

Lately, DQ here in Boerne has been a total disappointment. The customer service is virtually non existent. The employees don't acknowledge you when you enter, nor do they even have the audacity to say "we'll be right with you". They take forever just to initiate an order. Several times I've been there and have experienced the same manuerism. It's sad because my family and I love DQ.

Was charged for what I ordered, but unfortunately was missing a patty. I am unable to get though to an associate on the phone and additionally was not provided a receipt to “prove” my order was incorrect. Normally this stuff just slides, but with the financial state of the world and a patty costing more than it should. Well, I’ll just have to be more careful where I spend the meager compensation I received for selling hours of my increasingly finite life.

Just left dq, walked in and the entry level employee serving ice-cream never acknowledged my family the entire time we were their. Waited about five minutes then left, no I will be with you or anything. I asked are you going the help us and the guy didn't say anything. This. guy clearly did not any matter, and customer service skills. HEB is just a crossed the parking lot. That would be my recommendation if you don't want your evening affected by disgruntled employees.

I was just there tonight, pp and this isn't about me. But what I witnessed was pretty ugly. This young lady came in and said that their soda had lost its flavor and asked for a fresh one. A young lady at the front desk walked away and she was waiting for a while so someone else ended up coming up front and asking if they could help her and she asked for the soda and said she'd been waiting and asked for the general manager's name. Somebody else from the back came up front and she asked if he was the general manager and he said no and asked her to leave. I thought it was really inappropriate. I didn't hear all of it but the young lady who was upset and asking for her soda wasn't causing a scene or anything. She looked a little disheveled, like a worker or something, but there was no reason to be so rude to her. She had clearly paid for her soda and just wanted a fresh one. They were very rude and ugly to her, like she was nothing. They never gave her the general manager's name and I thought it was very inappropriate.

I went to the drive thru around 6:20 to get a burger combo and order of three tacos with no tomatoes. There were no cars in front of me and it took at least 20 min to get my order . I have never had a bad experience at this location before but this is what was served to me . I called and spoke to the assistant manager who happened to make the tacos I ordered and he insisted that the portions were correct. And if I had a problem with it that was my opinion and to kind of deal with it . There are not too many places here Boerne for fast food but this was one of the places that was convenient but as a food manager myself this was unacceptable.
