Absolutely joyful time in this place. Everything was flavourful but seafood is the best. Grilled octopus, ceviche, fish with shrimp, and banana as dessert.

The best rice/salmon dish I’ve ever had. You will not regret eating here, I promise you. Very good service, they were busy at 2pm on a Saturday but I still only waited about 10 mins. I ordered the arroz costa verde and it was so freaking tasty. Lots of seafood in addition to the salmon. The rice was nice and creamy and they yellow sauce was the perfect pairing. I also ordered the chicha mora which was sweet and refreshing. Also portions were very generous I could’ve shared the rice.

I really enjoyed my meal at Kukama Restaurante. I ordered what the server recommended; a seafood dish with rice. It had wonderful flavor. I also tried Pisco, which reminded me of whiskey. A local bottled tea was really good. The location is in the charming and adorable La Candalaria.

In Bogotá there is a lot place that state saying that their ceviche is from Peru, sorry but all the ones that I went, they are lying. Kukama is authentic Peruvian restaurant and is so delicious, the place has a mixed vibe of tourists, students and the people that works around the place. My server Dabiana was very attentive with us. When around LA Candelaria , stop by and taste the real Peruvian in Bogotá YOU MUST TRY IT.

Super delicious food and super good service. Because i'm from Europe, not from Colombia I didnt understand the food. So they really took the time to make the best choice with me. They explained to me what the dishes were. It was one of the best dishes I have had lately.

I was drawn in by the idea of fresh ceviche and my experience was absolutely amazing! The salmon ceviche was magnificent, the Chicha was very pleasant, and the service and price point were exceptional

I wouldn’t visit this establishment based solely on the owner’s responses to customer feedback. An owner should listen, apologize, and take constructive action—even if it’s as simple as discussing the situation with an employee or hearing the customer out. While I agree that the customer isn’t always right, their concerns and experiences matter. Dismissing or handling feedback poorly reflects a lack of professionalism and respect for the people who keep the business running. Based on this, I wouldn’t dine here, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Word of mouth is powerful, and it’s unfortunate that this business doesn’t seem to value it.
