Even if you have to wait for a table there are fabulous boats to look at, and a beautiful view! The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Love to start with the fruit and brie...my fave is the Hawaiian shrimp bowl...add salmon, delish!!

You will find this Gem, just North of Lake George, NY on Lake Shore Drive in Boltons Landing. Being from NJ I have high expectations of food and drinks wherever I go. The Algonquin didn't disappoint! They have a Brie and fruit appetizer that is absolutely mouth watering. It comes with a personal sized wheel of Brie coated in an Apricot jam, covered with sliced almonds, an assortment of fruit and mini tortillas! Pair this plate with a semi - sweet white or red wine to prepare your palate!

Very good food and excellent management. Outside deck got blasted with an unexpected rain storm and the manager and his staff handled it perfectly. We got a little wet, but our food was hot and delicious.

Best dinner in Bolton Landing. The sea bass was perfect, and Waitress Jasmin was delightful and professional. Location was prime.

Food and service was great! Situated right on Lake George. It doesn't get any better!

Food is outstanding! Service is impeccable. The views are priceless! This is a must visit when in the area and a local favorite!! Update August 2025: Had another great experience! The place was jamming. The team had it running like a finely oiled machine. They know how to hustle and make customers feel valued. We were seated well before our quoted time and the food and cocktails were both amazing! Boston was a great server!!! Our favorite restaurant in the 518!!! See you again soon!!

Fives all around! Delicious food, waterfront, great staff and bartenders. And the view, pinch me!

Classic Lake George experience. Located directly on the water with beautiful views, Plenty of docks for people who want to boat there. Lots of outdoor dining, live music. Downstairs and outdoors are more casual fare. Upstairs is fine dining. The family that owns it are really nice. Highly recommend a visit here.

Great restaurant with beautiful view. Husband loved the Shrimp Scampi and the Filet Mignon was excellent. We had the sweetest waitress,,Cassidy. Will definitely be back

With a reservation for Easter Sunday, we waited about 45 minutes for our table. Overall, it was great, but I wish they had a gluten-free dessert (how hard is it to offer a scoop of vanilla ice cream?)

Amazing place to visit and have lunch or dinner right near the water. You can drive your boat into their available spots. The menu had so many good choices, but I got the Beef Short Rib Marsala. It was to die for, highly recommended.

We sat in the dock area, great views, and the weather cooperated! The lobster roll was adequate, but uninspired. The Grace Peak burger was cooked perfectly, and the onions, roasted pepper, and goat cheese hit all the right flavor balances. Dockage available if you are coming in off the lake.

Great place right on Lake George in Bolton Landing NY. Inside and outside seating. Drive up or boat up. Great menu (ahi tuna appetizer was particularly good). Excellent salads, scallops and chicken parmigiana. Good selection of local beers. Great views of the lake. Wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

Spent the day around Lake George, stopped in for lunch. Although busy, we were seated quickly, right by the water. Sandwiches were great.

The staff is great. So is the food. Lobster rolls on point! And having dinner by the lake is always a wonderful experience. The ducks were well behaved.

My all time favorite spot on Lake George. If you are lucky enough to have a boat, that's the best way to get there! Try the Nantucket Bloody (comes with massive shrimp) with organic cucumber vodka. Food is solid and views are awesome.

Wonderful dinner! Wonderful service! The hummus plate appetizer is substantial and the pickled vegetables were amazing! The blackened mahi mahi with vegetables and coconut rice was just perfect. Just the right amount of spice and the mango sauce the perfect compliment. The seafood scampi was delicious with plenty of seafood and the sauce was flavorful and not heavy! I would go back again!

Great mudslides. Good sandwiches and apps. We went early for dinner to avoid the rush on LDW. Didn’t disappoint. Got a lake front table with only a 5 minute wait (definitely longer during peak time) while they cleaned the table. Great views even if you have to wait for a table. chic’s marina rental returns next door is pretty fun to watch the lines for returns. You can dock here during a rental day too. Of the few dock and eat spots we tried, felt most comfortable here. Helpful waitstaff too Jackie and Jack. They were just attentive enough. Mudslide was a real treat.

Waited in the bar for our table to be ready. Super cool classic atmosphere. Lucked out in getting a table right next to wooden walkway separating parked boats from dining area outside...though truly there is no bad seat n the house. Great experience overall

The Algonquin is amazing. Right on the water of Lake George, it has been a go to place for over 70 years. Our waitress, Alison, WA great- welcoming, patient (we took a while ro order), friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent with plenty of options for everyone. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit.

A beautiful view, friendly waitstaff, and a nice menu. The clam chowder is delicious very creamy and chunky. The chips that came with the sandwich were homemade and very tasty. Enjoyed the shrimp bowl! So much fun. The turkey was fresh on the club and thick. The Panini had a nice texture and mix of flavors. They handled accommodations with ease, and the desserts were fabulous. The chocolate lava cake was huge and big enough for 2! The Apple crisp was a nice fall selection. This is one of our new favorites and we'll be coming back again. They have a lot of outdoor seating with great views.

Food was excellent and the waitress was very kind and helpful. Best chicken parm I’ve ever tried served with Angel Pasta. And the view was amazing too. Crab Cake was also delicious. We got some sangria and everything was amazing. Everything tasted very well made and homemade.

This restaurant was recommended to us by people who go to this area forever. It is a really cute place with amazing views of Lake George. I had the salmon oscar and it was really yummy and my bf had some steak tips which was also really delicious. Highly recommend the drive to this place.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the Algonquin's Topside Grille at the beginning of the month and it was fantastic. Uli was incredible to coordinate with throughout the year and was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. When the wedding industry as a whole can seem very overwhelming and expensive, their prices were fair and the food was excellent. Day of we were able to drop off decorations in the morning and meet with the team that would be with us that evening - they went above and beyond to offer our guests the best service. Thank you to the entire staff at the Algonquin!

Food was delicious! Everything was fresh and delightful. Got the mango habanero wings and the shrimp bowl. I’m from Florida so I was impressed with the mango sauce. The service was fantastic our waiter was a doll. The view was unbelievable!! Will be coming back again. Real gem here.

We stayed next door to this restaurant and ate there 3 nights in a row. Food and atmosphere are great! But the view of the lake and the service is really where they shine. Conrad took care of us for two nights in a row and he was a star. Very thoughtful and attentive. Thank you for the great service!

Stopped here with family for lunch. They don’t take reservations so we’re lucky to get a great view by the lake. We ordered some drinks, sides and apps. We had some good bar food, my favorites being the chef special wings, crab cake, and rock shrimp . It was also nice to see a decent list of mocktails available.

Service was great. The food was great. And the views of the Lake topped it off! Will return to see how the indoor seating is! Very seldom do I give a 5 star review, this place earned it for sure!

Fantastic atmosphere, dog friendly, reasonably priced, delicious food, great service, what else can I say? It’s an oldie but goodie and always delivers a quality experience. We had fish tacos, a great chicken sandwich called hens and chickens, salted caramel iced coffee, and the fries were so good! Add in an iced tea and the lunch was under $50. They offer a cash discount so take note of that when paying. It’s a can’t miss place!

My sister and her boyfriend from Santa Cruz, CA came for a visit. They were going to head north after leaving Glens Falls, so we looked for a restaurant on their way. The Algonquin restaurant was a perfect choice. It was a beautiful day and we sat right by the water. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The virgin Bloody Mary was delicious and the regular one was not too bad either! The food was delicious. Hens and chickens, fish point and fish tacos.

Our waitress Emily was fantastic! She was courteous and patient. Our meal was promptly delivered hot and the food was delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed the views of Lake George and their lunch. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing lunch or dinner with a great view of this beautiful lake.

I would highly recommend this spot for lunch or dinner if staying in Lake George. If you’re renting a boat for the day you should definitely make a plan to head here for lunch. They have a team which is helpful directing boat traffic into the docks and despite how busy it can get, the service is excellent and you can get in and out back onto the water in a reasonable amount of time (less than an hour). The food is also very good. And because we were staying in Bolton Landing we decided to come back the next day for dinner. Between lunch and dinner, we tried burgers, lobster rolls, tacos, Buffalo wings (very good), etc. There were also some great local beer options. Great spot!

Beautiful view of the lake from this restaurant. We came here for a late lunch on a weekend and were seated right away near the window. The place seems a little dated inside with the plastic tablecloths and our table was a bit wobbly. It was dark inside too. Service was good and our waitress was very attentive. She checked on us often and seemed very nice. We ordered burgers and they were both very juicy and cooked perfectly. Love the crunchy French fries too.

A good place for meal when visiting George Lake. Good scenery views while enjoying your meal. For those who like rice and prawn the Hawaiian prawn dish is highly recommended; it’s really good with fragrance rice. Wing items so so only. I would have given a 5 rating for food if not for this.

Although I'm not technically a local, my husband and I do a yearly visit to Lake George and we always find a way to get to the Algonquin. We love that you can pull up with your boat and the polite young people help you tie off your boat. Getting a table can sometimes be challenging during the busy time so a reservation is recommended. They have both indoor and outdoor seating both overlooking the lake. It's a beautiful scenery and the food is excellent as well. If you're looking for a place to eat and you happen to be in the area I would highly recommend the Algonquin.

Great spot especially coming in from the boat. Super friendly staff and the outdoor seating is money with the views of the lake and mountains. Also a great spot coming by vehicle as well, which we have before on several occasions.

We had a very relaxing dinner on the water there. I had the Oscar style Filet Mignon, my wife had the Fish and Chips. They were both delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant and if the weather is nice, sit as close to the water as possible.

Very good food. We had two different salmon dishes that were very tasty. The chowder was good, just a little peppery for our taste. Excellent service, very friendly. They accommodated our young children as well with canyons and coloring sheets. Would definitely recommend for a nice night out or a family meal.

Was recommended to visit the Algonquin up in Bolton while we were staying in Lake George and we were glad we did. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains that were just breathtaking and so calming. Overall they told us 30 minute wait for a table of 4 which was more like 20 but we grabbed and drink at the bar and snapped some beautiful pictures on the dock and we sat in no time. The food and service was excellent. Must try their Fried Calamari. Whatever sauce they used for dipping was incredible. I also enjoyed the sirloin steak tips. Overall the price was reasonable for a family of 4 and would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning again.

Went here recently while visiting lake George. We arrived fairly early around 545 and were sat right away as a table of 2. The wait staff were very attentive and the food was amazing. We got the pot stickers, short rib gnocchi and broiled scallops. 10/10 on all. The view was beautiful. Parking can be difficult but that’s not unusual for the area. Highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back to try new dishes.

Calm and lakeside atmosphere with great food and service. The bathrooms are clean and the seating area is nice. Heavily staffed and the manager is personable. They even bring doggie dishes out for dogs to drink from. I got the steakhouse burger and the flavor was amazing. Hawaiian bowl was great too. Worth stopping at and returning to.

Had a great family dinner. I've been going around trying out different fish and chips in in the area. This one was good. What really stood out to me though was the amazing service from Sara Jane, and the inspired drink and dessert menus. Sara Jane made recommendations that were spot on.... Perhaps I should have asked about the entree, but I was on a mission. Our table tried most of the specialty drinks and they were all well done and off a variety to please every palate! Likewise with the desserts! We had the steamers and ahi skiffs as appetizers and both were fantastic! (I did waste the jus from the strangers due to a lack of bread, and my wife saying I couldn't slurp from the bowl.) Delicious! The other fantastic things here are the fantastic view of this beautiful cove and surrounding area, and the show put on by the week-enders who pay bumper boats on their attempt to dock. I could watch floating hot tubs filled with arguing couples bump into each other for hours! There were helpers, pilots, and line tenders so we didn't see anything exceptionally....embarrassing.

We specifically dined at Top Side Grill, the indoor, quiet part of the venue with a lovely view. From oat bread and wine (the Albardino was delicious), through every main course, the food was carefully prepared, carefully presented, and delicious. The prices are higher than their other menus, but I think they were average for the dishes offered. Highly recommended!

Delicious food! You can just pull up on your jet ski, boat or car and enjoy sitting at the tables on the dock or sitting at the bar facing lake George, either way you will have a great experience and an excellent meal! Absolutely a must stop!! Highly recommend

Nice waterfront restaurant! The menu items are a bit expensive, but you can’t beat that view. The food is also spectacular that we went twice; once at lunch and once at dinner. It is right next to Chic’s Marina, so it can be a bit busy during certain times. I would try to get there a bit early on weekends cause it can be a pretty long wait. For lunch, we got the arancini and New England clam chowder to start and both are delicious. I’d recommend both of those if you get the chance. We got a steakhouse burger and fish point for entrees. The burger is very delicious, but can be heavy. The fish point was excellent, soft, and light for lunch. For dinner, we got the steak tips and chicken parmigiana. All was fantastic and piping hot! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Lake George area (mostly Bolton Landing).

Good food, fast friendly service. Decent selection of food ranging from salads, burgers, to entrees, all without breaking the wallet. Dinner for two with drinks and tip came to around $60.00. Also can't beat the view directly on the lake, either indoors, outdoor under cover, or on their patio.

Lovely sights but the fish tacos had flour shells. Pretty terrible, corn shells should be the standard for 🌮 🌮🌮 Rest of the food was good but the soft shell flour tacos were unacceptable. They weren't even fried up! Just cold flour shells. At one point I was just looking at them and thinking to myself, why are you here, you should really be corn shells. I didn't even eat the last one, I left it on the plate similar to how I leave the carcass of spiders I kill as a warning to other spiders. I doubt they got the memo but if I ever go back I will ask if they have corn taco shells before ordering the fish tacos.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food is really quite good, recommending the filet Oscar style and the salmon Oscar style. We had the fried shrimp app and it was so good, even our 4 year old ate the shrimp, a first. The view was really lovely of the lake and we sat right next to the docks. We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. Overall service was really good. We were greeted friendly and served quickly. My old fashioned was not very good, we joked with the couple next to us who warned me after I ordered it. But overall good meal.

Greek Shrimp very well made. Chef was accommodating with making one of the plates over vegetables instead of linguini. Brie appetizer with red, green grapes, sliced oranges and sliced apples. Perfect combination. Perfect seating over looking Lake George.

The Gonq is THE place to be in the Summer - the most beautiful views of the lake, whether you're inside or out, great service, especially since it was packed on a Friday night, and quite decent food and beverages. We had a large party of 16, and they were able to give us a reservation inside without a deposit or anything - quite nice. No reservations to sit outside, and when we left around 8, people were still lined up. This place is great for a family - there are lots of menu items to choose, from burgers to seafood pasta to a fancier surf and turf special. Fresh bread is served with the meal. I started with their smoky spicy margarita, and it was alright - seemed a little heavy on the mixer and light on the tequila if I'm honest. My next drink was a dirty martini, which I recommend. It was just right. For food, we ordered the chef's wings, which have a spicy and hot sauce - they were decent, but not the best in the area. I also had the New England clam chowder, which was honestly kind of disappointing, as I got a lump of flour roux in my bowl, and not as many clams as I'd like. Still, pretty tasty, and came out hot. Hubby had the surf and turf special - NY strip and a lobster tail with a baked potato and veggies - very good. Even reheated, the steak was cooked nicely and tender. Veggies were cooked and flavored nicely. Sweet, tender lobster tail and butter. I had the short rib Marsala, and I highly recommend that. It's slow cooked and tender, served with their fried gnocchi (which I've never seen anywhere else) and savory Marsala sauce and mushrooms. Delicious and a large portion. I will say, everything at the table was a bit under-seasoned, but some salt seemed to do the trick. The fish and chips portion is quite large. Overall, a very nice meal with the family on vacation - it's a tradition!

We sat outside on a deck overlooking the lake. Great water view and dog friendly. Cheeseburger was good and our server Sara Jane was very nice. I’d also like to thank the young man who brought our dog a bowl of water.

Offers a wide variety of food, including burgers, seafood, and beef entrees. Friendly service and beautiful views of Lake George, which can be reached via boat as well as vehicles. Plenty of docking is available.

We arrived on a sunny day just after the peak of lunch rush. We were seated off and over the main patio. Nice view of the parked boats and jet ski. Not much shade. Menu was nice but the service was slow - shear volume of people VS staff/kitchen. But felt that staff just disappeared after the main group of people had been served.

J

It's a bustling establishment and we were seated right next to the lake under an umbrella. The food wasn't anything special but it was good enough and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Monday night busy but very nice. A beautiful view from our table. Food was excellent the fish pointe fillet of sole was tasty and well prepared. My Martini was good too. Great service.

Get there early for a large party to sit outside with great views of the lake. They have a wide selection of mocktails which is good. As for gluten free not much except salad. The fish didn't have any seasoning on it.

Gorgeous view, very good food. Worth checking out if you’re in the Lake George, Bolton Lansing area. (Our service was horrendous last time we went. Very slow, never refilled drinks or checked in, forgot a drink even after asking two times. We didn’t say anything, but someone else ended up bringing us stuff and I believe they told him to apologize for the service. My guess is he was new so I wouldn’t let this sway you. Try it out.)

L
Laura Kavanaugh

Timely, efficient not especially friendly service. Never told us her name, never told us about the specials. We didn’t even know there were any until we heard other servers addressing their customers. Seemed annoyed when we asked if we could move our table closer to the water, even though we didn’t even have drinks yet and not even acknowledged when my husband mentioned it was my birthday celebration. It was not even 5:00 pm at this point either. Side salads not listed on the menu, but were good and fresh and a reasonable $6 per. Husband got blackened NY Strip, stated it was nicely flavored and perfectly medium rare. Baked potato a bit undercooked. Rolls were fresh and warm. I chose the Hummus Plate, which stated came with fresh and pickled vegetables. Yet everything was pickled. I had hoped for some fresh carrots celery and cucumbers like my favorite Mediterranean place at home. I could eat very little. Just too much intense flavor. I am sure it would he nice as a shared appetizer. I also got the crab cake appetizer. It was ok. Not very big for the price and kind of flat and not a lot of taste. We sat outdoors to start and a storm rolled in quite quickly drenching everyone sitting outside. We picked up out glasses and bottle of Rodney Strong cabernet and headed inside, to be greeted by our server with our food. She got us settled into an indoor table and it almost seemed as though once she realized how pretty low-maintenance we really were, she was more pleasant Definitely can’t beat the view

Very nice in every way. Only 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. The fried calamari was served with rings of fried banana peppers, which were so excellent we asked for an oder of just the fried banana peppers! You gotta try them!

The views and atmosphere of this restaurant are incredibly. Can't pre-book reservations, but we were able to get a table after putting our name down within 20 minutes or so. Service was great. I'd say the food was a very solid 3 stars - nothing special, nachos were boring and fish was kind of meh but overall I would rate the experience high as there is NO better view from a restaurant in Lake George!

S
Shawn Selmon

Beautiful setting on the water. Very busy for a 130 lunch. First hostess seemed overwhelmed and started taking numbers for a wait time of about 20 minutes even though waitresses were telling her they had open tables. Which you could see. By the time we left they'd replaced her with someone that was running it smoothly. Only bad thing I had to say. Other than that, it was wonderful. Great food. Pricey but it's where you're at. Also very pet friendly.

The good: The view is awesome. Enjoy watching the boat valets "park" the boats. The food was great. Good music on the outdoor speakers (if you like classic rock) The bad: If you found this online, like l did, expect the prices to be $8 to $12 HIGHER than what you're told. I showed the waitress what my phone said compared to the menu and was told "maybe those are old prices, we go by the menu".

This family-owned restaurant is nestled in a scenic spot by Lake George. It’s a popular lunch spot for boaters, and the views are stunning—bright autumn sunshine, clear waters, and fluffy white clouds create a picturesque setting. It's a lovely place to relax and unwind. The food was decent overall. The calamari stood out with its unique thin strips and pepper seasoning. However, I was less impressed with the highly recommended lobster roll; the lobster was served a bit too cold for my taste.

High quality and good value food. I highly recommend the crab cake for appetizer, we thought it was delicious. We tried the scallops and the Greek shrimp. You cannot go wrong with the Greek shrimp, we loved it. The broiled sea scallops were good, not amazing. They have a beautiful view of the lake, if you’re lucky you’ll see the full moon shining on the lake.

So this is an excellent restaurant to visit if you’re in Bolton Landing or want to escape to a less crowded restaurant in the town of Lake George. There’s lots of indoor and outdoor dining. My fish dish was excellent and I would highly recommend it. A fluffy fish lightly egg battered. French fries were also excellent and nice and crisp. My brother-in-law loved his fish tacos as well. I’m giving it 4 stars because my wife and her cousin found their shrimp dish a bit lacking. As for service and drinks also very good. Definitely order the Bloodymary with shrimp!!!

Amazing location with beautiful views of Lake George. Food was disappointing, i ordered the, Chicken Parmigiana. It had no flavor. The sauces was jarred, and bland. The chicken lack flavor or seasoning and was likely frozen. And way overpriced

Was there with 8 friends for a bachelor party for dinner. Always love being able to sit in a waterfront restaurant. Most of the people in our party's food was overcooked.

Pretty view, decent food but service left much to be desired. Server never brought bread to the table, forgot my appetizer, seemed distracted throughout course of the dinner. Normally I always leave a 20 percent tip, this evening I left 15 percent and that rarely happens 🙃

This place was amazing to see, they have a great location we Had a table right next to the water we got to watch people leave right on their boats from dinning it was cool, staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the place and didn’t give any advice as far as what someone who’s never been there should try or what’s the thing people really are enjoying right now And on the food side the Scallops were a little over cooked and we were a little disappointed that they only served 2 crab cakes for appetizers especially as everything was expensive and there was three of us.

Really nice option to drive your boat up to the dock and park to be able to eat. The dock attendees were very helpful and nice. The Mahi Mahi was delicious, however the portion was a little small and weak on the vegetables. The calamari was terrible. Probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was probably frozen, fried earlier in the day then flash fried before being served. It was literally horrible. The waitstaff was pretty rude, every time we asked for something it seemed like it was a chore even though we were a party of 15 and they knew the tip would be nice since we were having a few drinks. The kids chicken finger and fries were literally 5 small pieces of popcorn chicken and a dozen individual fries. Fish and chips were delicious and so was the burger. The men’s bathroom reminded me of my frat house. The door had a hole on it on the interior, the toilet was open to the two urinals so when someone was taking a dump you can see them. It was literally open to the bar. This has to be against some health code and a violation. There are def not enough toilet facilities for the size crowd they can handle. Someone should look into that. Overall, great views but that’s about it. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Food was excellent, service poor.waitress never told us about daily specials. We heard about them from another table. Waitstaff took my plate away while I was still chewing on my lunch. Ever ask if I was done and felt very rushed. I live in the area and would think twice before returning. Definitely would not recommend.

Being in the restaurant business, I expected more. The atmosphere was great but the food had no flavor. I had the fish tacos and my husband has the fish point. No flavor!!!! The only flavor was in the NE clam chowder and unfortunately, it was way too peppery!!!! This restaurant is not worth the price. Sorry to say. Our server didn’t come back and check on us to make sure our meals were properly cooked. That’s server 101. Bad

The server was young and eager to please. Her persistence became a little bothersome. I had steak tips. These were not tips. They were random pieces of meat of all sizes, mostly small. My medium rare order was grossly overcooked.

Food didn’t wow me but that’s most of lake George restaurants. Lobster roll was not buttery. Shrimp rice bowl was okay small portions..Nice views.

Ate upstairs at the Topside Grill. Good atmosphere; if you're lucky enough to get window seat then great view. Service staff was inconsistent and the meats were VERY over-cooked. One waitress was unprofessional and annoying...extremely chatty. Kathleen, our other waitress, was excellent. In conclusion try your luck somewhere else along the shore.

Ate at the bar, big mistake. Bartender was too busy complaining about working multiple jobs to wait on us. In two hours we were never asked if we wanted food or drinks, we had to flag down bartender.

They can have 2 stars from me. One is for the amazing waitress, Jasmine (sorry if I spelled that wrong), and one is for it just being on the water. This place baffles me. I can’t even understand how people are eating their food. Pot sticker’s glaze is tasteless. Caesar salad is overdressed. Shrimp and pasta is bland. Hummus is gritty, and who the hell serves pickled veggies with hummus? Wings were subpar with meat, and when ordered crispy they were cooked too long (needed a lower temp, longer time - happy to wait), but the chef’s sauce was a nice flavor (basically Asian wings with a little bbq mixed in). Pumpkin espresso martini was watered down. Salt Caramel White Russian was overly sweet and I love sweet! Shame.

We've been to Algonquin Restaurant many times before and have usually had great experiences, but our most recent visit left us disappointed. There was a short wait before we were seated, which was fine. However, the issues started right away when we asked for a high chair for our daughter. The staff initially brought a booster seat instead, telling us they had no high chairs. Eventually, one was brought over later, but it was a frustrating start. Our waitress greeted us with a noticeably unfriendly attitude, bringing waters for the table without asking if we wanted one for our daughter. We ordered drinks and appetizers, which arrived relatively quickly, but our dinners took quite some time to come out. While waiting, multiple staff members came by trying to clear our drink glasses, as if we had already finished our meal, making us feel rushed before we had even received our food. When the meals did arrive, most of our group enjoyed their dishes, though my father-in-law was not happy with his. During the meal, the manager displayed an unnecessarily abrasive demeanor, at one point picking up a toy that had fallen from a nearby table, assuming it was ours, and dropping it on our table without asking. I then had to track down the rightful owner at another table. As we were finishing, we asked for boxes, but before we could pack up, a staff member removed my daughter's plate, still full of food, and threw it away. This was extremely frustrating as we had intended to take it with us. Overall, the service felt rushed and dismissive, with both the waitstaff and manager contributing to an unwelcoming atmosphere. This is far from the attentive and pleasant service we've experienced in the past, and unfortunately, it left us feeling disrespected and disappointed.

The bathrooms say a lot about a place. In addition to having no locks on the door that opens to the bar for all to see... there was no soap or towels... leaving me to believe that the staff is unable to wash their hands properly. It was like this last time I went there (a year ago). The owner obviously takes no pride in the restaurant and is lucky they have a view of this place would be out of business. outside of seeing the men going to the bathroom, the views of the water are nice. I will not go there again for fear of fecal matter in the food. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like, but t has to be filthy. Absolutely disgusting.

The worst. Only go here if you are looking for draft beer with a lake atmosphere. Cocktails are over priced for being marginal and the food is just awful. Got sick from their fish n chips, it was just microwaved. Every member of our party of 6 was disappointed and you probably will too.

My wife and I had burgers. Both burgers were ordered medium well but were served to us rare. The burger was a mess on the plate as if they rushed putting it all together. The service was terrible. The waitress never came over to check on anything, and so we ate the burgers the way they were. The bill was $70 and I left a six dollar tip which I shouldn’t have even left. When my charge showed up on my credit card, I saw that it was exactly $6.00 high. I feel the waitress changed the tip amount from six $6 to $12. I had my Customer receipt which showed the correct charges and tip. I called and left a message for a manager, but no one called back. I wouldn’t go here again
