✨Great Energy from the moment I stepped in, Matthew greeted me by my name; which is proper hospitality. Thank you for making me feel welcomed, and thank you for adding the Extra sauce in, Amazing Staff , The cashier smiled and was nice. Her nails were clean and pretty and she was warm. Another young girl at the front with great customer service skills. amazing Food, the pizza felt like it came from a REAL Italian pizzeria, no offense to my hardworking Latinos…the sauce … the sauce was fresh, like they grew the tomatoes in their backyard. The dough, was perfectly kneeded and fresh as well I don’t like a lot of places pizza dough especially these fast pop up hole in the wall pizzerias, but this place is FIRE! The PIZZAAAA SLAPPSS! My guy and I are blown away it’s So Good, he was like, THIS IS REAL PIZZA 😂! Yeah Connecticut, TAKE THAT! NY has AWESOME pizza too LOL, Will be back 🙏🏽😊 TYSM 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is a real pizza place. The pizza is awesome. They have all kinds of fancy slices during the day. The prices are on par with the area. The staff is great and will take care of your needs. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Finally, an Italian place with authentic Italian 🤌🏻 But seriously, their Cavatelli pasta is so good - handmade & fresh! My kids love the food and that’s saying A LOT!! I also love their cannoli zeppoli more than I’m willing to admit. Delivery is quick and always well mannered! I’d post pictures but with how good the food is, we can’t take photos fast enough!
Avellinos has the best pizza! I used to be from the area and moved to Poughkeepsie (35 minutes from Avellinos) I always stop and order when I’m in the area which is infrequent. Matt always greets me by name every time. The cashiers are just as friendly. Such a great atmosphere. Wish they were in Poughkeepsie!!
Stopped in to get a quick bite during my sons basketball game. Had the pleasure of meeting Matthew, the pizza maker. Super nice guy as was the few remaining staff (close to closing). The Sweet Thai Chili pizza was OFF THE HOOK!!!! Later, as they were closing, I stopped in again because my son was hungry. Matt and crew gave me a couple of slices and sent us on our way. The people here were amazing and the pizza was excellent! Highly recommended this place!
2025 update Still going strong same people same great service with outstanding food What a great find. Do not let the outside fool you as the service is fantastic and food is just as good. Highly recommend looking at the specials, our server who was wonderful suggested the lobster ravioli and it was fabulous. Parking is a little tight around back but make sure don't skip this wonderful establishment

First time coming out here to this town, yet Avellino's has made a staying impression. Great food, great music, and welcoming staff ready to make you feel at home. 5 out of five stars on the Italian food front. Look no further!
first time my family eat here and the food was amazing!! i got the chicken scarpeillo dish (& pizza) and my parents got 2 salads which they loved. The owner and his workers were very friendly, personable people. definitely coming back :)
Ordered a large mushroom pie, wow the amount of toppings deserves a shout-out! Delicious! We were pleasantly surprised! Excellent!
Definitely will be back to try more dishes - and the pizza! Had a meatball parm wedge and a grilled chicken club wedge and both were excellent. Large and very reasonably priced. Will update when we go back for more!
Delivery ALWAYS takes FOREVERRRR. I ordered a single wedge and a salad, and I wish I was exaggerating when I say it took 1 hour and 35 mins for it to arrive. Naturally, it arrived cold. I live 1.2 miles from the restaurant. This is not a one time thing, this is the general experience when ordering delivery from these people. The food isn't even great when it is hot and fresh. Most of their food tastes store bought or like it came out of a can. I won't be ordering from these people again, not when there are so many other pizza places in the area.
I ordered the Sicilian Avellino and garlic knots. It was delivered on time, but when it bit into a slice, it was extremely dry because it had no tomato sauce at all. I called to see if there was any mistake but I was told that was how they make it. When I attempted to make a comment, the girl hung up on me. Thankfully, a small cup of sauce came with the garlic knots and when I added it to the slice, it was very good. The “Sicilian avellino” as they make it, is really bad and they didn’t want to do anything to rectify the situation
Called to place an order for a few slices to be warmed up as I typically do, and was rudely told “no” and that I had to come in to order and see the selection - as they couldn’t confirm if there was a grandma slice available. We’ll gladly take our business to the 4 other pizza places around here who have better customer service. Capriccios didn’t have a problem taking my order.
First off, the prices they have on the menu are not up to date and are inaccurate to what the prices are. Secondly I put in an Order for a large 18" chicken bacon ranch and was told the prices was $21 and change. I waited over an hour for my food and was brought a small 12" pizza that was stone cold. I called back and was told they can't do anything for me. Very upset with the miscommunication and service.
