This place, I wasn't expecting the food to be so good. It was delicious. And the ladies there are very sweet and patient. Because it was my first time there and she didn't get annoyed at my indecisiveness.

This diner is a definite upgrade from the previous version, with a nicer decor. It's really eye-catching. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the owner will occasionally check in to make sure all is well. Service is attentive and never rushed. The food is solid, with one of the best chicken parmigiana plates around, and the burgers are always juicy and cooked to the requested temp. Go for the huge Colombian breakfasts which are really cheap for the amount and quality of food. And the coffee never disappoints.

Wonderful and friendly service by the ladies. The portions do not disappoint and you will have leftovers for lunch the next day. Food taste fresh, hot and delicious. I would totally recommend 💯🌟

Was looking for a resto that served wine and found Eatatblue and enjoyed the wine while waiting for family for lunch at a nearby resto that didn’t have a liquor license. I was so pleasantly surprised and had friendly and courteous service from wonderful staff! Highly recommended!

Opened 24/7 in the heart of Elmhurst is Eat At Blue, a Spanish restaurant filled with authentic localflavors. Staffs there are super friendly even though we had a language barrier. They still managed to make us feel at home. We ordered a beer bucket from the happy hour special to accompany our meal this evening. Food was prepped and made to order Absolutely delicious and satisfying. Come to Eat At Blue for your Spanish cuisine cravings.

Food is good! We ordered quesadilla with steak and bandeja paisa. We didn't expect it to be good tbh but it did exceed our expectation. Service is good as well. Place is good for midnight snack or whenever you're hungry. Price is worth it

Food was great! Its a big serving, we only ordered one dish and just the extra rice! We like it so much. The store is just small and just a few tables. The thing is the server is always busy, we really need to caught her attention couple of times before she helps us. Maybe because they also have the to go corner that looks like a bakery (kinda) and a lot of people coming in for to go take outs. But still we gonna come back! Good food and affordable price!

I always make a quick spot in here before getting on the train to grab some coffee and a fresh pastry. Their staff is friendly and attentive, but during busier hours they can be a bit rushed. I’ve been here a few times for dinner and I’d recommend their Arroz con Pollo. They give a pretty big serving and it’s simply delicious. I hear their Blue Bacon Burger is really good too from a friend; juicy patty and loaded with fresh toppings and crispy bacon.

I give 3 stars for the bread and coffe, I will never buy food there again, the picada was extremely dry and geasy, the chicharron was like eating a rock, I think they have frozen food from weeks ago to reheat every time they got an order “Nothing even close to fresh”

I had to visit Eatatblue after seeing the hype on social media. Really nothing to rave about, however it was a nice experience. Upon approaching the place I was greeted by two homeless men whom both I gave a $1 and one opened the door for me. Upon entering I grabbed the attention of one of the waitresses who called another waitress over immediately to wipe the chairs and table. I sat down and within 2mins was given a menu... Great selection! I ordered the Mango Mojito which was EVERYTHING!!!!! I also ordered Snapper with a side of Avocadoes and green plantains... Added some green sauce to my snapper, sprinkled it with lime and it was delicious. Nothing was overly or under seasoned, the food and portions were just right. I could tell as it was getting later the vibe picked up more... Music and customers in and out and the homeless. You can tell they don't mind the homeless coming in to sit at the tables to wait for a pastry or coffee... Although it doesn't look great for business I can understand it as the entire area is full of homeless or people who fell hard on their luck, so guessing those who enter the diner/restaurant are regulars. Either way I would revisit. Nice little spot

Found this place on instagram and it is not how it is perceived to be in person. The service was very slow. We ordered calamari for starters and after twenty minutes and 10 bell rings later, we were informed they did not have calamari. We waited about 40 minutes for our drink order. We got the 36oz drinks, Blue Punch, and it tasted like juice, straight juice. I ordered the morning after burger. Very bland yet fulfilling.

I went to the queen center mall which is like 7 minutes away from the restaurant I had to circle the block around 3-4 times. It’s very dense and congested over by the restaurant. Anywho upon entering the restaurant I wasn’t greeted or seated by anyone. So I just marched over to the bar and sat. I sat there for a good 3 minutes before I was acknowledged mind you there was only two other table that was occupied, the waitress came over with the menu. I love the fact that I didn’t know what drink to get and the waitress made me 3 little shot glasses of different drinks to try. Which all was very good. But I went with the pina colada and let me tell you BBQ could never. The best pina colada I’ve ever had THE BEST you hear me. About the food it was meh tasty nothing to jump over the moon for. The menu was too cluttered. I’d go back just for the pina colada. The atmosphere wasn’t nothing special either. The sever was attentive and made the experience welcoming.

I stopped by Eatatblue for a cup of coffee and pastry. It wasn't busy late night and I'm glad they still open. Homeless came inside often and everyone seems to get used to it and don't pay attention.

I ordered the breakfast platter which had a picture of hom fries but they send me french fries. The toast was very shogy. I tils them over easy but it was over cooked. The worst food ever.

My wife and i walked in to this place we waitied to be seated for about 5 no one offered us to seat so we sat in the first table we saw. Then we waited for 15mins for the first waiter to actually approach us and say if we need a menu. Then when we finally wanted to order no one turned to even look at us. So we got up and decided to order to-go since no one wanted to take our order .

Went here last night for the first time because my daughter found it on tiktok they make the place look like it’s a lit environment LIES place is very narrow my waitress was nice but seemed off she didn’t know how was the drinks serve or if they have certain food items she gave my daughter option of grill chicken or baked my daughter chose baked just for her to come back and say they don’t bake like what?and she took our drink order about 2-3 times because she kept forgetting mind you she’s in front of us with pen and paper “writing everthing down”she comes with water that was hot took a sip and spit it out told her it was hot she said ok ill put ice said no I need clean water I spit back the water in there she says ok go get me “new”water with ice that ice melted in 10seconds because the water was hot again and it had stuff floating in it so yea didn’t drink it then the food comes and it was not good everything bland no flavor what’s so ever and worse part tip was included in receipt when clearly that service did not deserve NO TIP whats so ever the only thing that was good was the coconut mojito that place was one and done for me never going to this place again not worth the travel or definitely the money me my daughter and finance took our plates to go because I literally took 3 bites all of our plates was basically full because did not finish it and gave to 3 homeless ppl

Triple check your order before you leave the place they don’t put items for which you were charged. The food is not very bad, not great. The fun thing with changing price of iced coffee.

I didn't even finish drinking the hot chocolate because it taste too sweet and stuff you can buy in the store and I did not like it at all. Except for the bread, it taste good , that's why it's a 2 star. I liked the original diner that was there, not this all hip modern store, it lost its magic for me.

The bakery selection was cold and hard to start. Waitress didn’t even offer to warm up the pan the queso I ordered. Waitress also seemed to have forgotten that I was waiting for my coffee as she made someone else’s coffee before me and also attended another customer right after. I ended up missing my bus after a 2 minute wait “for the coffee to be made” turned into 5 minutes. I left feeling completely dismissed. Also had to go back because the coffee cup was extremely hot and I asked for napkins to help hold in. The waitress gave me ONE single napkin. I hardly leave reviews but that experience left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Would never go again

The staff are mostly friendly, and speak English and Spanish which is a plus. And the seating arrangement is pretty good considering how big the place is. Unfortunately their quality of food isn’t that great. It’s mediocre so it’s acceptable for its price value. But there are certain things that are unacceptable. Watery nachos, dry empanadas and over salted soups are the things I wouldn’t recommend.

I ordered (eggs) huevos pericos, (corncake) arepa con queso, y 2 (breads) pan de bonos for pick up. When I arrived in 10 mins, I asked for my order and it was ready to go, so I thought. I arrived home and saw that the breads were not in the bag. I had to go back for them in 16 degree weather. When I finally got home to sit and eat the eggs were burnt and I found a piece of plastic in the eggs while chewing them.

Let's be realistic. A bag of potatoes costs $2.99. Why are they SO CHEAP with the potatoes . They give you 2 PIECES, NOT 1 ENTIRE POTATOE, when you order a chicharon. Also, their empanadas of meat are actually empanadas de PAPA! STOP BEING SO CHEAP!! Give the customers their money's worth!

UPDATE: OCTOBER 2022 ******** I went back yesterday because I wasn't feeling Dunkin'. So I got a large hot coffee with cream and sugar. 3 bucks. No problem. It was very good. Came back today for the same order. Today it was $3.75. I asked the cashier what changed. She said it was because of the cream, even though I added cream yesterday at no additional cost. It's amateur hour 24/7 at the Blue Cafe. I'm running on Dunkin' tomorrow. ******** I came in here three different times wearing three different outfits and I got three different prices for the medium iced coffee. Here's an idea, don't charge customers whatever random number comes to your head that day, especially when the price is written down on the menu. Also, the last time I went I paid 5.25 for a medium iced coffee. The Starbucks down the way closed so I guess this business decided to take over for the local overpriced coffee market. What a joke.

I only put 1 star because that was the minimum I could give. The waitresses all had an attitude before we could even order our food and drinks. Items on the menu were not available and I had to get my coffee at a nearby deli. We waited 1 hr for our food and still did not recieve 2 meals. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone if you are looking for brunch go to Georgia Diner.

Do not order Uber Eats with these clowns. I ordered a meal with coffee and juice which the app states it comes with. They denied it and I proved them wrong. They said "pick it up". No customer service at all. I paid for it! They wouldn't deliver it to me or credit me in any way.

Food is average and overpriced, pork (chicharon) is always hard. They try to get you to pay more with tricks, especially over the phone. Asked for mini bandeja (14.95) over the phone and instead made me pay for a super bandeja (17.95) that I didn't ask. They've done this tactic before. I see in the comments you have to check your order before you leave as they will short change you and am not surprised. If you eat in, their tip options start at 15% not 10%. And if you pick up and use a card to pay they ask if you want to add a tip and will shame you if you say no. It's just best not to go there.

Just purchased a salad from Blue tonight. I was hesitant to order food from this place because of past experiences finding hair and bugs in the food, prior to their rebranding /change of ownership. I gave this spot a change once again since its open late and close by me. Not to my surprise, I'm more than half way done with my salad and find what looks like a lady bug in my salad. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement. not only was this salad over priced for minimal lettuce, but it was also unsanitary. I am beyond upset with myself for going back to this filthy place.

Orders always take forever . 2nd to last time I ordered they only gave meat and forgot rice and beans . Last time I ordered I waited two hours I called and was told delivery man didn’t leave yet . I use to purchase lunch here for all my employees until I found they were overcharging me. Today they decided to overcharge $2 for an additional tea bag in my tea and when i called them out about it they said this is the normal charge. They lost me as a customer for life.

I have ordered from this place through Uber Eats, and the driver delivered the wrong order. I call them, and they were not helpful, I was waiting for 45 minutes for them to call me back, and they seems not to take liability for their mistakes. Food was not too bad, BUT the service was terrible. Called to place an order and she told me to hold. Was on hold so long that I walked down there. I ordered, waited for food, drank an espresso, and started to leave when I finally told her she can hang up the phone. Got a burger and Salad. I changed my mind about the salad immediately after she punched it into the computer. She told me I couldn’t remove it from the order once she entered it. I asked for an espresso while I waited, by the time she remembered to give it to me, it was cold. Finally, asked for extra ketchup while she packed my food. Got home, ONE packet of ketchup was in the bag.

Terrible service! Waste of time! After a 30 minute wait for a to go order the waitress asked again what our order was. (clearly she had never put in the order at all). Asked us to please wait more time and one beverages would be on the house. After over an hour of waiting and getting up to leave we finally got our food, just to find out at home that the order was completely wrong and even missing certain things ordered. Never again!

This place has changed a lot. Before the pandemic, the ladies were kind, smiling and always took care of the orders, they used to have a good customer service in general, for coffee or dining in, but now The service is terrible, they are all the time in their cellphone and you have to stand up and go to them if you want to order something. They don’t speak English if you want to call for a delivery. Food is not good at all now, it’s greasy and it’s not fresh. I don’t know what happened but the new manager or owner is doing really bad. They changed almost all the staff and the new ones look like they are not interested in any customer. I definitely don’t recommend it anymore.

Terrible Custumer Service. I was a regular costumer and we always ordered seafood. On 03/30/18, we arrived there around 11:20 am and we ordered food right away. By 12:00 Pm I asked the waitress about my food she told me that "You ordered seafood and pancakes so it takes longer". Meanwhile there were people who came after me and they gave them their food. This is the first time that I hear that it takes about 40 min to make a salmon in garlic sauce. I don't understand that they made about 8 orders that came later, but they couldn't make my order or at least made the pancakes. I could not wait anymore for my food. I wanted to pay my drinks. I asked one of the waitress and she replied " You have to wait for the waitress " with bad attitude. Both waitress were making time serving other customers and the other one was talking with a co worker. Nobody wanted to charge me the drinks. I spent 1 hr in this place with not food and waiting to pay the drinks. I definitely don't recommend this place terrible custumer service.

The food has no flavor ,ordered pork chops rice and beans , the white rice was the only thing edible i sent the porkchops twice bc it was undercooked and when i finally ate it , it had no flavor,nothing,i had to use the grerns sauce to eat it bc thry would not change it or discount it. I would not recommend at all,my friend had ghe calamari which was breaded like onion rings thick and tasteless. best thing overall was the rice and coke, as the mango slush they brought us just tasted like water .

I was charged EXTRA, just because I ordered to go. And since I order two different appetizers I was charged an extra charged twice. So I paid for my food, the taxes, and their food containers basically. I don't know if that's a legal charge. But I know I'm not going there again.

I came to blue hoping to get a quick breakfast before jumping on the train. My order: coffee, egg white and sausage on a roll, and bottle of water. took my order at just before 9am and I paid. The restaurant at the time was empty but soon started to fill up. About 15 mins passed and I had not even received my coffee. I reminded the girl and she finally served me my coffee. I'm guessing she put in my order at that moment because I got egg and sausage on a hero. I told her she made me wait 20 mins. No apologies. Tried to make it up with orange juice and served me smallest oj cup possible. Oh well at least I caught the Brazil Costa Rica game.

Excessive waiting at every juncture. Very inattentive service. The food, and simple sandwich and beverages took longer to get than their maximum time to consume. No urgency. Food far from anything to recommend, very so so. Not recommended.
