Convenient location in its own commercial plaza with ample parking. Lots of natural light. Friendly waitstaff and clean bathrooms. Wholesome food at fair prices, including “hinged” rolls containing foodstuff which locals call “wedges.” The Westchester Libertarian Party regularly meets here.
Wholesome and authentic Italian food at fair prices, plus sandwiches which locals call "wedges." Friendly waitstaff. No beer on draft but they have about four bottled. Clean bathroom and dining room receives lots of natural light. Tasteful decorations. In October 2022 the Westchester Libertarian Party gathered at this location.
The only two times I ordered from this restaurant the food was so delicious. NO REGRETS. the staff are very friendly and polite. The price is all right. They have three separate dining rooms, big enough to celebrate any special moments.
Delicious food, comfortable restaurant, the owner was there and ensured we were well taken care of, our server was also great! Thanks for the great late dinner.

I've known John and his daughter for years. They are so dedicated and great with the customers. The food including my favorite: Ravioli, Penne Vodka, Shrimp and Veal Frances are top notch. My mother loves the Penne Vodka and Large Ceasar salad portions. The prices are reasonable too. The restaurant is great for all types of parties, and Business gatherings too My plans for Christmas eve were changed at the last minute. However, Barbara & John, made me feel welcome & went above and beyond. God bless you 🙏
My husband and I and our two adult children had our. Christmas Eve dinner at Sir John's. We had a marvelous time! The atmosphere, service, and food were wonderful. We were so impressed that we are planning to have our New Year's Eve dinner with friends at Sir John's.
We stopped in for some wonderful trimasu, celebrating our anniversary. I wish we were staying longer. To go for a full meal. Great people, excellent food, and the best service we've had anywhere in a long time. Thank you so much and God Bless!
If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Sir John’s is it! We recently celebrated the Swiss Onion Fest here, and from the first bite to the last note played by The Ancient Ruins, it was sheer magic. The atmosphere was electric, and the food—wow! Every dish was crafted with such care, bursting with flavor, and presented beautifully. The team at Sir John’s truly goes above and beyond. Their commitment to quality shines through in every detail, and you can feel their warmth and dedication. When we asked for coffee, the owner personally fired up the cappuccino machine just for us—a touch that made us feel like cherished guests. A huge thank you to the owner *SIR JOHN* and his wonderful staff for their passion and incredible hospitality. We can’t wait to return for another spectacular celebration! Love and appreciation from Maggie and Roberto
Today I was invited again to play with my band at Sir John's, for a special private Onion Fest organized by a community of Swiss-origin people. What a delight! The restaurant is cozy and comfortable at the same time. John, the owner and fabulous host who made his restaurant available for the occasion, made sure that every guest was happy with the food and service. As I walked in to prepare for my performance I noticed a top quality Italian espresso machine which was turned off for the day. I would have really loved to have a delicious cappuccino, but I know how much time and effort it takes to start one of these machines for the day, and technically the restaurant was closed, only available to host the private party. But then Sir John himself asked me if I wanted anything... I smiled and looked at the machine, hinting that a cappuccino would have made my day but I realized that the machine was off. Sure enough, while I was playing he came and served me with an exquisite cappuccino, decorated with some light whipped cream and a chocolate filled cookies... What a fabulous service! During one of the breaks I got to taste the homemade pizza. As I told John how much I appreciated it, he smiled, humbly (and rightfully) proud of his own creation. Hosts like him are gems. I highly recommend his restaurant and the rich authentic Italian dishes.
Group of 8 friends went out for dinner last night and couldn’t have been treated any better. Food was great and atmosphere was awesome. We will be going back for sure. Owner and staff were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
The staff here are the kindest people I have ever met in the food industry; we came with a party of ten and they were extremely accommodating. Gnocchi was fabulous, and the prices are great. Will absolutely be returning!
First, we sit down, and they take our drink orders. We have a large group that was readily accommodated. The bread, butter, and bruschetta come out next. Then, they took our meal orders. Everything was excellent. The calzones are not only huge, but they are well prepared and taste amazing. The chicken parm was another hit. Personal pizzas are crisp, with excellent sauce and cheese ratio with no flop. Been past Sir John's many times. This was the first time we have ever visited. Well worth the visit, and I would have dinner here again without hesitation. We finished our meals and they cleared the tables. Then, to our suprise, they brought out two generous platters of Italian cookies. When the check came, I added one more star. Prices are great as well. The owner, John himself, was a gracious host. He's been here for 45 years and counting.
John and Geno were Lovely Guys and served our party very generously! Great food, great people, and were very happy to help us despite us being there past closing. 😊 10/10! Will go again!
John the owner treats everyone like family. I am from N.J. and have been going to Sir Johns for over 25 years with my N.Y. friend. The food portions are ample and always served with fresh Italian bread and water. The pricing is very reasonable.
Finally, we found an old school Italian joint in the White Plains area that Sinatra and Dean Martin would love. The food is outstanding, the service is very friendly, plenty of parking... and no inflation here, prices are very reasonable. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine for about $85 plus tip. Loved it! Best chicken parm we've ever had, homemade fettuccine and angel hair pasta. Eggplant parm is also outstanding... Will definitely be back.

The Sir John’s pizza was amazing! I stopped in during torrential rain and flooding. I have no idea about its regular day to day.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon with great weather after Super Bowl Sunday. The food was okay, but I don't think I'll be back. $75. lunch for 2 with no alcoholic drinks. Beware of the "special dessert" placard on the table with no prices listed. Pretty good but for $8.95 for essentially a scoop of ice cream, I found to be very pricey. (I'll visit the nearest specialty ice cream shop next time I'm in the area.) They also charge 3.99% on top of your bill if you use a credit card, which essentially nullifies your cash back reward. So, they want cash. This place needs to be audited Our server was wonderful. They're looking to hire at the moment; I guess they don't want to pay enough.
We have lived in N.WP almost 20 yrs and tonight we finally tried Sir John's. We had heard and read great things but never had the chance or remembered it was just up the road. The servers wore masks and seating was definitely socially distanced. We walked in and headed to the bar where we ran in to not one but two people we knew and have not seen in quite some time...true neighborhood gem. Sunday's special is $12.95 for a side salad, choice of dressing and choice of 3 kinds of pasta and 3 sauces. We all chose the vodka sauce with penne and were not disappointed. Warm toasted Italian bread was just what we needed as we sat down. Our waitress was attentive, conversational but not suffocating. The owner popped in to say hello and check the room temp to ensure we were comfortable. Espresso and house cookies to close out the evening was just right! Looking forward to checking out what else is on the menu..see you soon Sir John's!🥂

They are very nice but it’s time for a change looks like the never let go of the 70s . It needs some attention and a good cook . They have the space to make it work or let someone else make it a nice restaurant to go eat . If not a good coffee shop with small tapas plates easy and fast . Would love to keep it in the Naighboor hood I did eat there with my husband and sadly the food was not up to date . Wish he would consider fixing the place and a good cook
