My favorite Chinese cafe. I love their rice, the service and the people at the counter are great. Very polite. One day I ordered food and left in a hurry. Then my wallet was left in front of the cash register, I didn't even notice. But the owner of the place came looking for me, searched my house, and gave me my wallet. It had my passport, my ID card, and even my green card. I was very happy. They were very kind❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fresh & delicious! My favorites are the chicken chow fun, singapore mei fun, chicken mei fun, beef dumplings & hot sour soup. Very clean restaurant with plenty of seating for small & larger groups. Service was friendly and the owner Dave was especially accommodating and friendly. I look forward to eating here again. Totally recommend!

We used to get food from Chinese pagoda bay ridge.Their food is very bad and disgusting customer service but today we found Dave's garden halal Chinese on 3rd avenue.His food is excellent, very clean restaurant, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended. Please try him out.

Excellent food, price and quality. Owner very friendly and plenty of place for to eat in. Long time didn't eat such a tasty and perfectly seasoned chinese food. We ordered vegetable lo main, general tso's chicken and beef and broccoli.

The food is really good. I tried a couple of things and they’re pretty solid. I came here before with my wife and now today I’m ordering some King Pao chicken. It’s priced reasonably and the portions are big. I hope they get more business and stay in the neighborhood. It’s on my bayridge favorite list together with Karam, Mikawa and Mendato

I’ve been wanting to try Dave’s for a while, and got the opportunity last night for takeout. The Singapore chow mei fun and chicken vegetable lo mein were generous portions, hot and well cooked with really nice flavor. The food also tasted very clean, not oily in anyway, and it is notable that it is all Halal! The amount of meat and vegetables in with the noodles could be a little more, but the prices are very fair, and I wouldn’t mind paying a little more per dish and asking for extra meat or vegetables.

By far the best halal Chinese food I’ve ever had. Only thing that needs improvement is the garlic sauce (got broccoli in garlic sauce). Non halal places make garlic sauce so good idk how. But the shrimp fried rice and beef Lo mein were amazing. Sesame chicken was also good. Absolutely will return.

** After being a regular customer for a few months, I can't stress enough how much of a neighborhood gem Dave's actually is. For first time visitors, I recommend the Orange Chicken, and Hunan Chicken dishes, both are absolutely delicious!! If you have halal restrictions, or if you just want top tier Chinese cuisine, go see Dave! You won't regret it.

Very place . Good food best customer service but no parking available . Very hard to find a parking spot on the street .

The kung pao chicken here is not really kung pao. The chicken is breaded and soaking wet, not stir fried.

This place is terrible it gave me and my best friend food poisoning the food was late and we overplayed all in all shut him down 😁🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I will never return to this restaurant again after I heard a loud sniff and coughing on the kitchen and now I feel very sick with headache and itchy throat and the cashier lady she over charged my husband, I feel like the impression they do something to the food, and if they really do something to the food may Allah punish you for this harm, I promise I will never put a step in this restaurant ever again, I don’t trust them

My chicken was over fried, I tried to explain this to the cashier and she acted like she didn’t understand me, went home and I got severe diarrhea and pain in my stomach, I cannot sleep, I am thinking to go to the hospital because I feel like I am dying. I will never ever come back to this place again. Update!!!!!!!!!’ The pain of my stomach hasn’t gone I don’t know what he did to my food, I almost die last night I have to go to the emergency room, I don’t know if they do things to food I have severe pain that doesn’t go away is horrible, may God punish you if your intentions where bad I will report you

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. My egg roll was burned and cooked in rancid oil. My shrimp w/ broccoli was mediocre at best. Customer service was bad, teenage kid today did not greet me, he was watching TikTok on his phone. I threw away half of the food, and prices were outrageously expensive.
