Dave’s Garden is back!! Previously know as David’s Garden, they were located on 5th Ave and 76th Street but closed down during the pandemic. Overall, excellent Halal Chinese food and friendly staff! Glad to have them back again.

I had a bad experience the first time ordering with delivery time. I decided to order again, and food came fast, it was very delicious. I will be ordering again.

I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have 1000 five starts already! The most delicious and freshest halal chinese food I’ve eaten in years! Im so glad to have found this gem of a place. Atmosphere is beautiful with Quran displayed in chinese and prayer mats. Allohuma Barik

Have you ever wished to indulge in a millionaire's dining experience? Well, that's exactly what you'll find at this restaurant, where the flavors rival those of a 5-star Michelin establishment. I particularly enjoyed the orange chicken, a standout dish that, in my view, surpasses any other chicken I've ever tasted. While bananas have always been my preferred fruit, the introduction of orange chicken has unexpectedly heightened my appreciation for the flavor of oranges over bananas. Additionally, the hot and sour soup demonstrated a perfect harmony of spiciness and sourness, complemented by tofu, akin to savoring French fries with ketchup—an exceptionally delightful combination. However, it's essential to acknowledge that taste preferences differ, and what I find outstanding might not be universally agreed upon.

Very place . Good food best customer service but no parking available . Very hard to find a parking spot on the street .

It was a really nice spot to go to with family. My personal favorite was beef with garlic sauce - It had a perfect tender texture and flavorful. My husband got hunan chicken it was okay overall just wish the chicken was less dry.

We often order take out. The employees are really nice and efficient. The Singapore and House Special Mei fun is very good. The Chicken and shrimp curry is thick and tasty, the Sesame chicken , Young Zhou rice and Seafood Delight is delicious and the Shrimp and Lobster sauce lunch is recommended too. The Fried fish and scallops are not oily. Halal taste is very good. Highly Recommend Dave’s Garden for take out!

Overall, the food was good, and the portion sizes were generous. However, the variety of soups was quite limited, and the taste did not resemble authentic Indo-Chinese cuisine.

Decided to give this place a try since I was in neighborhood.food looks great Rice was horrible so greasy for no reason. Smelled like old grease on it. Sesame chicken was ok but not enjoyable because the rice was so bad. Would expect this place to be better because of the neighborhood.

I got the food less than a min so I quickly say to the guy, hey I'm sorry I need to order something else, can I get 2 shrimp rolls? Dude says no problem and when I take out my card, he's like minimum $15. Ok I get credit card transaction fees but dude I clearly made a large order. He's not budging so I'm like ok let me see if I can use the same app and do a pickup order. Can't find it, try one more time saying hey I can't find it on doordash for pickup, and he just stares. We end up leaving.

My chicken was over fried, I tried to explain this to the cashier and she acted like she didn’t understand me, went home and I got severe diarrhea and pain in my stomach, I cannot sleep, I am thinking to go to the hospital because I feel like I am dying. I will never ever come back to this place again. Update!!!!!!!!!’ The pain of my stomach hasn’t gone I don’t know what he did to my food, I almost die last night I have to go to the emergency room, I don’t know if they do things to food I have severe pain that doesn’t go away is horrible, may God punish you if your intentions where bad I will report you

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. My egg roll was burned and cooked in rancid oil. My shrimp w/ broccoli was mediocre at best. Customer service was bad, teenage kid today did not greet me, he was watching TikTok on his phone. I threw away half of the food, and prices were outrageously expensive.
