Avaliações de Emmy Squared Pizza Brooklyn
I wasn't expecting much, honestly. However, I'm happy to be proven wrong in this case. The pizza was fantastic. The crust was surprisingly light and fluffy for a square pie, but crispy at the same time. Very good sauce to cheese ratio, and just delicious overall.
Great Food, Great Atmosphere. I would recommend The President to come here if he wanted to get some good. Amazing. Thanks so much for the hospitality!! The staff here is phenomenal! Excellent customer service
We are regulars but haven’t been in a while came back last Friday and the food was just as we remembered. The emotional damages we had needed work as they did not taste the same. However Emma was amazing!!! We’ll be back if the guy with the mustache behind the bar is back.
My family and I stopped going to Emmy squared in Park slope a year or two ago because the service was so poor. However, we gave it another try last week and it was perfect in every sense of the word. First, our server, Emma was very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Then, of course to top it off we had excellent food and our overall experience was everything we hoped for. We will definitely be returning as long as things continues as they are.
We are from Detroit and this Detroit style pizza was absolutely what we were hoping for! We haven’t found anything close to what we’ve always enjoyed in Michigan, until now! The classic mushroom and pepperoni was delicious. The crust was baked perfectly. (Extra bonus: the Lions were playing on Monday Night Football— and won!
Came to Emmy Squared with a friend during a torrential downpour. We cozied up at the bar as it was a quiet night thanks to the weather. Emma and Kyle were absolutely lovely and attentive. We ordered the Brussels sprout salad which was HUGE for two yet so flavorful and delicious. For pizza, we ordered the VIP - perfectly spicy, crunchy, gooey, literally everything I want in a pizza. Finished all this off with the brownie skillet as we continued to wait out the rain. NO REGRETS! Will absolutely be back!
Always wanted to try this pizza and I must say it was worth the drive from Staten Island. It's different from your regular slice pizza. We had the Emmy and the classic, the flavor combination on the Emmy was really good. Their pizza is square slices. We truly enjoyed it, love that it's not doughy.Ivan our waiter was very friendly, pleasant and attentive and answered any questions we had. The place was clean, cozy and relaxing to sit outside. Worth the trip.
Emmy’s is my favorite place to get a delicious Detroit-style pie. I’ve tried a few different pies from here, ‘the Big Ang’, ‘MVP’, and ‘VIP’ are among the ones that I’ve ordered. The VIP is not much different than the MVP; it just has pepperoni and Calabrian chilies in addition to the other MVP toppings. But for some reason, the MVP seems richer with the sauces. I’m also not a fan of the Calabrian chilies on the VIP, so I normally just order the MVP and just add pepperoni as a topping. After my last visit, I’ll be adding half grilled chicken and half pepperoni as my toppings to the MVP. I had been dreaming of the MVP pie and went there specifically for it, so after some SERIOUS deliberation, I decided to go with my favorite and order the regular sized MVP again. Overall I definitely recommend Emmy’s Squared, especially this location it’s not as busy as the ones in Manhattan. I personally think that it’s bigger to visit Emmy’s at Brooklyn location, if you can.
My partner and I opted for an all-vegan* build-your-own pizza (banana peppers, red onion, hot honey, and dairy-free cheese), and it was really, really good! Neither of us had ever had Detroit-style pizza before, and there weren’t any reviews written just yet about the vegan options that we had seen, so we went in with fairly low expectations. We were both definitely pleasantly surprised. The bread/crust and cheese both were super tasty! We weren’t starving, so the regular size ended up being perfect, but I would recommend for two people with a big appetite to go for the large. Drinks a little on the pricy side (11 bucks for a seltzer, 15 bucks for an IPA), but I do remember seeing a sign outside about happy hour specials, so maybe something to look out for in the future. Friendly staff and good vibes, great location… Gitton in ‘ere. (*Note: make sure you clearly communicate any dietary restrictions or preferences as the traditional dough is not vegan.)
The food was really good. Ordered the Brussel sprout salad, which was a great medley of bitter and tart flavors, also nice and saucy. The Pizza was really good. Gotta say as a New Yorker, I appreciate the cheesiness of a Detroit slice. Would definitely come back, the staff is great as well.
Amazing dog friendly staff but wait there’s more! Everything and I mean everything was delicious. The meatballs were ungodly good. The burger was cooked to perfection. The drinks were a smash. The apple pie oh my goodness it was heavenly. It was so good I came again on a four day trip to see if I had overhyped it. Nope the 2nd was amazing as well.
We had Andy as our server today and it was phenomenal. It wasn't too busy and their happy hour is amazing. I got the Roni supreme and the la big matt. The burger comes with delicious waffle fries. Everything about this place is amazing. The service, the food, and the atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough. You owe it to yourself to try it out!
Emmy Squared exceeded all my expectations! The menu at Emmys offers an extensive selection of foods that caters to everyone’s taste. During my visit I tried their signature ‘MVP' pizza, ‘Artie Bucco’ pizza, Le big Matt burger, skillet baked brownie, chicken bites, and Caesar salad. The flavors of each dish were well-balanced and they were all so good. I also had a few of their drinks, Not from the Stand, Palomo. I think the MVP pizza, skillet brownie, and Not from the Stand is a must-try combo!! The staff were all amazing, attentive and friendly. Anthony and Nathan, my servers were exceptional, and they made the experience that much more enjoyable with their hospitality. Despite how hectic the restaurant was, they made sure that the drinks and food got to our table in a timely manner. Whether you’re seated at the bar or at a table, rest assured that you will be receiving the best service and their full attention. Can’t wait to come back and try more items off their menu! Missing the brownies already!!
We ordered delivery and it is crazy to me how this place doesn’t have HIGHER RATINGS. SO GOOD. Very fresh produce used and authentic flavors. The Caesar salad was underwhelming in the box, but SO FRESH and flavorful with the dressing as you can taste the anchovies, which we love. We had the Colony pizza and Good Pauline pizza, both DELICIOUS. The crust was crunchy around the edges with golden cheese adding to the crunch, but paired with a beautifully balanced softer springy dough the more of the slice you eat. Will keep raving about this place to anyone who will listen. Will be flying back for this 100% 1-2 slices would feed a small appetite person, a larger appetite I’d suggest 3-4 slices.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Brooklyn, New York. The food is AMAZING and the PIZZA IS COOKED TO PERFECTION! Our Server Ivan went above and beyond to give efficient, happy and polite service. Our table food server Anthony had the best smile and was super polite! These two are best team and make this restaurant run smoothly!! side note, The menu is mainly pizza and don’t forget to get a salad and some wine! The restaurant is “kid friendly” with a children’s menu. If you download the restaurant app you can get 5 dollars off the next meal purchase. Just want to say that we Can’t wait to return and would definitely recommend to anyone else looking for somewhere to eat in and take in the best food in Brooklyn! Staff and management give one million stars ⭐️ service! Thanks so much we appreciate your restaurant and hospitality! Looking forward to coming back soon!
Great to have an Emmy Squared, in the neighborhood! FOOD: Overall still legit as always. Their Detroit style pizza has great flavors especially the crust which isn't something you can say about most pizzas! The "Big Al" is a must to get. The "Le Big Matt Burger" still rings true at being good, but it wasn't as juicy as say their related Emily locations which are more succulent with the drop down your hand kind of flavor. I think medium is the default patty cook, but we weren't asked how we liked it and it felt a little more than a medium grill. I'd still order it every time, 100% The Meatball plate surprised me at the softness and flavor intensity. The Baked Ziti plate I would skip. SERVICE: They were great and quick despite being very busy when we had gone for dinner. Opening weekend some hiccups as it seemed like our small plates were forgotten to be ordered and came much later than our main dishes after we had to inquire about them, but wasn't a big deal. ATMOSPHERE: Beware btw 5-7p seems like the kid twilight zone. I get the neighborhood, but this took it to a new level. The 'blue room' seemed like this is where they separated majority of families into. A zoo seems appropriate to describe the scene so props to the workers for hanging, but then it also felt this placement of families was by design. The other room definitely had children, but nothing like the blue room. Also we were seated next to a guy who was coughing the entire meal without covering his mouth and sometimes in our direction while also leaving a pile of snots with the napkins on the table. Felt bad for the workers who had to clean that up. Nothing like a covid dessert. EAT LATER AT NIGHT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Also, if u can, try to get the main room as the blue window room has no insulation. On a cold winter day you feel the draft for sure. They have two heaters blowing down, but it only helps the two tables in the middle of the room closest to them. They should install more. There's one bathroom that unfortunately is in the middle of the short path to the kitchen. When they're busy the staff is trying to bring out plates of food and you find yourself trying to squeeze out of the way.
Went in on a Saturday night with no reservation and there was no wait. It was a slow night and there were only 3 other tables dining. We were seated quickly but the service was not great. You can tell the staff was bored how they were walking around/play fighting/texting. That wasn't even my biggest problem.....The place was absolutely FREEZING. The whole time we were there it was unbearable cold. My feet were in actual pain while I was sitting there. Other guests in there were wearing their winter coats while eating, but how do you enjoy a meal like that? The food was good so I won't bash them completely but I will not be returning to this location. The MVP VIP was the best thing we got.
Walked by this place, and the aroma was amazing. Placed an order and felt robbed. The square is literally 9.5 x 7.75 in. You get six mini squares. I paid $31.50 for a Roni Supreme with Xtra cheese and no Calabria chiles. You've been warned.
