Stopped here for a bite before a show at the Warsaw. The place looks like a locals sports bar. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The burgers were fantastic and there was a great beer selection. I was blown away by how clean the bathroom was too! They even had a flip down toilet seat for children. I highly recommend this spot for a good, quick bite if you’re in the area!
Had an excellent experience at Juicy Lucy. When my partner amd I arrived we were the only patrons in the room. Beautiful spacious cozy resturaunt all to ourselves. Decided to sit at the bar and keep the bartender company. He was hospitable and made small talk. We both ordered burgers and shared a side if fries. The fries were cooked golden perfection. The burgers were juicy as promised by the name of the resturaunt. Ketchup and mustard were the condiments offered to us. Fidnt need much more. I got the grilled cheese patty melt and my boo git the double burger. Good to the last drop. He had a beer on draft (good selection) and I kept it simple with water. It is handicapped accessible they also deliver. Parking can be difficult and citi bikes are right in front which removed to s of great parking spaces. I believe the train station is nearby. I will return. Thanks Juicy Lucy
Love this new place burgers are juicy for sure. Fries are great and they offer non alcoholic beer for tjose who need to drive back home. Krispy chicken sandwich is very good. Fries are nice as well. Staff is super attentive and take care of their patrons well. Nice outdoor patio overlooking amazing Mcguineess Blvd. 😜 surprisingly nice and chill vibe. Def recommend.
The food was good I love a classic burger the loaded chicken was cool too and the drink was good as well I do recommend
What a find this place is! Only $18 for any pitcher of beer including a Hefeweizen that is so delicious. We also got a burger that had I think four slices of cheese and two perfectly cooked burgers as well as a snappy and delicious hot dog. Great outdoor space and the friendliest staff, highly recommend and will be coming back!!!
I hardly ever write reviews but I ordered The Caliente burger and I was moved to take a picture halfway through because it was that delicious. The burger has a layer of fresh jalapeños and thins slices of spicy chorizo, which are way better than bacon and I love bacon on my burgers. The bun had a piece of pickle on it and it all added to the overall smokey flavor of the burger. Don’t be deceived by the thin nature of the patty, because it all worked so well together. Also ordered some fries and zucchini fries, which were also yummy. Make sure to check it all out! I ordered for pickup and they got my order out in 10 minutes, very happy I grabbed food from them!
Man that Lucy is very juicy! From their kind employees (mostly men) to trying their infamous sangria (shown below with some fruits)Followed by their cheeseburger & their season fries? Delicious!! I’m telling you the burger was the best I’ve ever had. Sure it’s a bar, a nice one which has big TV’s & comfy seatings to watch a good game or some good skateboarding tricks. However, don’t forget to come by be friendly, order some good drinks & good food. P.s this is a great place to bring your friends & gals!. & did I say affordable?? ;D

This place has the best happy hour deals and such a great big patio. It should be much busier than it is. It's become my go-to spot in the neighborhood. You can't find a better deal for a pint or pitcher in the city

Big bar with pub food. Nice outside space. The service is good. The prices are very good. Happy Hour specials are definitely worth a trip here. I had a Draft and a Burger for $10. They also have other specials. They have T.V. s and an Air Hockey Table. This is a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Really nice place to spend some time. Close to all the action yet usually not too crowded. Especially like that they have a pool table and patio. An easy recommendation. Edited: Pool table no longer there. Had to deduct a star. Service still great.

This place has so much potential. Unfortunately the owner is absolutely clueless as to how to run a successful bar. Opening at 4 on Saturday and Sundays?(huge sports days all year long) And getting rid of the pool table because a review hurt your feelings? I'm pleading with you now to please sell this place to someone that knows what they are doing.

Let me just start by saying that the manager who runs Jucy Lucy is going to be the downfall of this place. Ive never seen such unhinged and atrocious behavior from someone who runs a business. I’ve attached a picture for anyone who is thinking of hosting any type of event here. My advice is pick any other place in town. This woman berated the birthday girl multiple times throughout the night, to the point of making her cry, all because our “party didn’t order enough drinks”. Mind you, it was very early in the night, many people did in fact buy drinks, and there is only one bartender so we couldn’t even order fast enough to stop this woman complaining to us. Despite this, we met our bar minimum and would have continued to spend money here if it wasn’t for this horrible manager. Skip this place.

HORRIBLE — staff was unfriendly, service was incredibly slow (the place was half empty yet ordering a drink took 15-20 minutes), but most of all the manager/owner was a complete nightmare. Our party had put a deposit down to use a corner of the bar to serve pre-cut cake, and agreed to pay a drink minimum. Within 30 minutes of arriving, the manager berated the birthday girl 4 separate times repeatedly that we needed to order more drinks (everyone was already ordering drinks and had planned to continue to do so the entire night.) The pestering never stopped, and eventually veered into downright harassment, to the point where no one could relax or enjoy themselves anymore — so we decided to leave after 2 hours. If it weren’t for her, we would have stayed and given them our business whole night, even though it was frankly a mediocre bar with zero ambiance or charm.
My daughter had her 30th birthday here. I deeply condemn the manager, due to her endless pestering about how much money her party was spending, the night that started with excitement and joy ended with tears. Although she had already paid the deposit prior to the party, she became livid and demanded her credit card and drivers license as if she had done something wrong. I have never seen such a business in my life.
I took a chance and tried out this always-empty venue — big mistake. My night at Jucy Lucy was easily the worst bar experience I’ve ever endured in my 29 years as a New Yorker. I saw what seemed to be a manager or owner reducing a customer to tears over the group “not spending enough money”. Mind you the place was absolutely vacant on a summer weekend and yet I saw her SHOUTING (not once but twice) in a way that truly scared me. The flatbread pizza tasted frozen and the drinks were cheap but only because they were watered down. I don’t know what money could’ve been spent there since it was impossible to flag down the bartender who preferred chatting to the only other patrons at an otherwise desolate counter. I was there for hours and managed to get 2 drinks total. Take a look at how they respond to their negative reviews here. “Hope your life is miserable” is pretty much the perfect summary of the treatment you can expect to get. BEWARE of the old white lady with a crucifix necklace (christian where?) and better yet spend your money down the street at Jimbo Slims where the vibes are always impeccable and you’ll feel right at home 🥰
Generic vibe that was completely ruined by management. We came for a birthday and the manager/owner (older white woman) would come over and scold the group every 10-ish minutes for not buying enough drinks. This is all going on while the bar is half empty, open seats and booths aplenty. I'd say our group represented around half of the people there. We left early and went to another bar a few blocks away that didn't keep track of how much we were all drinking, despite being busier. Imagine that! Friendly service staff. Food was nothing special.
I have lived in New York for 8 years and I have NEVER had a worse experience at a bar than last night at Jucy Lucy. The manager/owner was extremely rude the whole night and would not stop yelling at our group. Literally pointing her finger in people’s faces and talking on and on. She was extremely unprofessional and rude and lost a ton of business all because of her bad attitude. I have no idea why you would treat PAYING customers so poorly. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The 1 star is for the all gender bathroom which was nice. Never ever coming here again and suggest everyone else stays away.
My friend scheduled her birthday here they told her it’d be a $100 deposit. Day of, the manager came up to my friend and demanded she pay another $250 because “people weren’t ordering enough drinks.” Mind you, at that moment 20 people had a drink in their hand and were ready to order more. So we left obviously and I would recommend not going.

I rarely write reviews but the way our party was treated on Saturday was extremely rude and strange. The owner / manager lady harassed our group regarding the amount of money we were spending. The bar was empty and there were barely any people there and we all were buying drinks and snacks so I don’t know what the issue was. Extremely unwelcoming way of treating paying customers and yelling, and harassment is highly unprofessional.

BAD management. Manager (older white woman) repeatedly harassed and screamed at our party for not “ordering enough drinks” on a friend’s birthday night. Unprofessional and soured the entire night so much so that we closed tab early and took our business elsewhere. Embarrassing for such a mediocre bar. Wait staff was good though.
