This is legit home cooked food at a restaurant. The food was immaculate and nothing missed! Even the juices were fire 🔥. Good people, good vibes, excellent food. Definitely recommend to all nations!

Loved the lattes and puff pastries. It’s also a reliable place with WiFi for work and they were so nice and accommodating to turn the music off when I had to join a call 🥹

Listen…the food is fresh and delicious. The service is sincere and amazing. I left feeling full and healthy. The vibes are immaculate. Special note: Get the plantain porridge, it is a hug for the soul. So warm, comforting, and delicious.

Lakou was my go-to when I lived in the area years back, and I was lucky enough to stop by again recently. Sadly I was too late for one of the chickpea curry patties (my absolute fave!) — but I thoroughly enjoyed the codfish too, and also got a really nice oatmilk latte. The space is bright and inviting as always. They are a gem of the neighborhood. 💛

Yeshira, was a DELIGHTFUL DOLL! She catered to my friend and I last night after we stumbled into, Lakou during our Kwanzaa Crawl. The menu was varied and everything was available! We ordered two ginger drinks and an espresso. The drinks were made to order and, Yeshira was happy to adjust them to our liking (EXTRA SPICY). Lakou, offered happy hour specials and was a really nicely decorated and inviting establishment, WITH a rewards program! We will definitely be returning and encourage everyone else to pay them a visit! Happy Kwanzaa!

Needed a place to have a coffee while I had a quick zoom meeting prior to an in-person meeting in Brooklyn, I was drawn to the location as it advertised itself as a Haitian cafe, Black and Women-run small business, focused on building community. I biked to the located and was able to lock my bike right next to the outdoor dining area connected to the cafe. Very good customer service, although I might suggest arriving at bit after they open if you want access to the full menu. As I didn't and didn't want to wait to order, I had a expresso and a fresh slice of banana bread. I had my meeting outside while enjoying the food, and then rolled off to my next meeting. Definitely plan to return and try more dishes, 100% recommend for atmosphere and customer service.

Small but nice place. They also have good wifi connection so it's great to work here. Service was really good too, the lady even gave me a cookie on the house cos my food took a bit long! (Fyi, that cookie was sooo good!)

this is a local café in my area and I think their food is so delicious. It’s the perfect addition of Haitian culture on Utica Avenue. I enjoy their salmon burger, their creole chicken sandwich and their sus pua!

Such a vibe! I remember when they first opened, admittedly I only stopped in once but the owner was very welcoming. I’ve been following them on IG ever since and now that I’m back in Brooklyn, I told myself I’d visit more often. My first meal was the Kreyol shrimp with white rice, a side of plantain, and sos pwa(black beans). SO GOOD! I’ve been back twice since then, just to sit and work on my laptop. I tried the Iced Chai Latte and it was delicious. Lakou is a neighborhood fave and I’ve experienced WHY firsthand!

G

I've been here a few times and gotten the green goddess smoothie, chai, fried chicken sandwich, and fried chicken dinner - all delicious. Great vibes and music. The staff seem happy and I never feel rushed to leave. Good for laptop work or hanging out. They host great events too and seem involved in the community. Y'all may not have realized it yet but I'm about to become a regular 😂

A

Cool cafe with good vibes, solid selection/variety, and quality food. I’ve had the turkey BLT, which comes on a dark rye bread with baby spinach, and several of the fruit smoothies. Today I tried the kreole shrimp plate with sautéed kale and sos pwa (bean soup) sides - the sauce on the shrimp/veggies was tasty with a slight heat (I added more hot sauce), the kale was nicely cooked, and the soup was delicious. I found it odd that the price wasn’t listed for the plates, and it ended up costing $17/18 (before tip)? I probably should have asked before ordering, as this is a bit more than I expected to pay for lunch, but the quality and portion seemed about right. (Side note: my smoothie today was so chunky it couldn’t pass through the straw, but usually they are well blended.) They also sell t shirts, coffee beans, and excellent spicy peanut butter- great spot, will definitely be back!

THE BEST SALMON BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD!! Told my sista friend (Cat) that I have never had a good one from Places I have been. So I gave it one more try at Lakou + it did not disappoint. You felt the love, ingredients + comfort put into that burger. The Epis was delicious!! I have started cooking with it myself. I look forward to coming back for events or the chill + welcoming atmosphere.

A Gem! S/O to Immacula in the Kitchen! The plantain porridge aka labouyi bannann was delicious.

I had the Fried Mushroom Sandwich and the Jerk Jackfruit Sandwich both were so good. I also had the Ginger Limeade as well, it was okay too much ginger for me, but I would def. Be back! :)

Here for the third time in one week and had to fight myself not to come more than that. Everything looks and smells good but I’m loving the vegan meatballs, kale and sos pwa right now. Also add the spinach patties and I don’t even like Haitian patties typically. Just bring patience. Your order is cooked from scratch most times.

I've been dying to try this restaurant the next time I came home and it was AMAZING!!! The food was out of this world! Super flavorful! Cayel and Fritz walked us through the menu and made great recommendations. Thank you guys for having vegan and gluten-free options. This allows me to enjoy my culture again! I had the vegan griot that was perfectly fried and that green sauce was perfectly paired. My friend had the shrimp and ended up drinking the sauce from the bowl cause it was so good! Thank you again guys!

There are Vegan Haitian Food options!!! This alone is enough reason to go. As a Vegan Haitian, this is my go-to and I live in Queens. They also have regular Haitian food, so bring your friends, bring your colleagues, bring people who are visiting NYC. So good, highly recommend.

My friend brought me here and the food was so good. I didn't even know it was vegan until after. Mushroom burger was scrumptios.

Very dope spot, I can tell it gets busy and has a great vibe at night. The food was really good and so was the Crown Heights smoothie I had. Hoping in the future they’ll have patties. I definitely recommend.

I loved Lakou!!! The food was sooo good, very flavorful, and made fresh to order. I absolutely loved the Lakou smoothie and ginger lemonade both were so delicious and refreshing. The shrimp plate was my fav! I also really loved the cornbread, it looks dry and burnt but it’s was buttery, moist, and delicious. I’m not vegan but I really liked the vegan griot (fried jackfruit) and I put the epis sauce on everything! The decor is so cute and welcoming and I love that they showcase local art.

Dope spot!!! Love, love, love. I've been there twice so far. I love the vibe and the food. The people working there are always cool. It's my new favourite spot to grab a bite, read and people watch. The Haitian patties are 👅. I had a jerk Jack fruit and pineapple crepe and I loved it. Can't wait to go back and try the others.

Sorry the food didn’t make it to the photo shoot… it was that good. My wife had the salmon burger, I had the fried chicken, both were super delicious. We cooled down with a Lakou Delight smoothie and we took two chicken patty’s home. Inside is small and quaint, the vibes and music are on point. Prices are fair, and you get a lot of greens which we love. We’re coming back!

My partner & I were told about this place by one of our friends & one day while hungry, we decided to order from someplace new and remembered we had been recommended Lakou. Since our first order, we’ve went back 3 more times in a short time span. The food is amazing & most importantly, consistent. My favorite is the fried chicken sandwich and the curry chickpea crepe with jackfruit. My partner is super fond of the fried mushroom sandwich if you’re looking for vegan options. The actual inside of the restaurant is quaint as well if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal. Glad to have been told about this place as it is our new go-to.

J

Delicious spinach patty and the best soup joumou. Mèsi The ginger lime aid is awesome as well. They have a great selection of cultural books, and art displayed on the wall. They accommodate their customers with out door seating, which makes it a pet friendly place. They had my favorite cookie: chocolate chip…and it was soft. Vegan options are so accommodating.

I recently dined at Lakou Cafe in Crown Heights and had a fantastic meal. As a vegan, I was excited to try their vegan griot, and it did not disappoint. The dish was bursting with flavor, featuring perfectly marinated and seasoned plant-based meat. The texture and taste were spot on, making it a delightful experience. Even my picky 2 year old loved it! The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Lakou Cafe for anyone looking for delicious vegan options.

This has been on my list of places to go for some time, and I'm glad I finally had the chance to check it out. Met up with some friends here for dinner. I got the legume and added beef to mine and of course I had to get some banan peze (fried plantains). The pikliz had a nice kick to it! Everything was so good and tasted so authentic! I also purchased some Haitian peanut butter to go. They were out of Haitian bread, so I just need to get my hands on some so I can get the real feel of Haitian bread with Haitian peanut butter.

This spot is a 10/10 hidden gem. I've been walking past the restaurant for a couple weeks now considering going in and it wasn't until I pulled up their website online that I realized how many vegan and vegetarian options are available. The space really opens up with bar, window and dining seats available. So depending on the vibe you're going for: study, casual lunch, or something a little more formal, you can do that. I ordered the Mushroom Sandwich which was truly so delicious...thick, crispy, juicy, well seasoned. No notes! And I got two sides, kale salad and sweet plantains...really the perfect meal for the afternoon I was having and for any day in general. Felt so balanced and also filling. I have been plotting my return to Lakou Cafe for the past two days so that I can get the Mushroom Sandwich again even though I know I should try something else from their menu. Maybe today is the day. And perhaps I can gather a few friends to join me.

Second time visiting NYC! My first time ever since being in America that I have found great Haitian (inspired) food to eat! Great food! Great service! My sister and I got their Haitian Boulette Baguette sandwich, fried Plaintain, Vegan Griot, Hot cocoa, Lakou Delight smoothie, and Ginger double shot. Everything was absolutely amazing! ABSOLUTELY recommend this restaurant!

G

The staff is always friendly here and good music is always playing in the background. I’ve been here about 4 times in the last month. I love their Ultimate Avocado toast with codfish, chia seeds, red onions and aioli. They lemon blueberry bread is to die for. It’s like crack. They Ginger juice is always a refreshing drink to have. They also sell Haitian treats such as patties and Haitian peanut butter. The patty crust is so buttery and flaky. The Kreyol chicken sandwich was filled with flavor and reminded me oven Haitian stewed chicken.

S
Susan Visakowitz

The food is delicious and service is done with a smile. It's low-key/casual decor, but it does double as a coffeeshop, so makes sense that it's not as fancy in appearance as the food itself. Don't be fooled, this place is putting out well-prepared and excellent dishes! Love to support a quality local establishment like this!

C
Chris P.

Lots of great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ginger lemonade had a great kick with a plethora of other drinks including coffee, fresh juices, smoothies and recently obtained a liquor license. The host a bunch of really cool events and have a really nice backyard and curb side seating also available.

B

I tried the chicken with rice and sauce pois and it made me feel like I was at home! Great portions and the seasoning was perfect for me. Not too much and not too little. I’m so happy Haitian food and culture can be explored here.

What a great place to grab a meal! Lots of vegetarian options. The salmon burger was incredible! I stole a bite of my son’s chicken sandwich, he wasn’t happy about that but I had to try that amazing sandwich! There was a ton of chicken and like the salmon, perfectly spiced. Service was excellent and the bathroom situation was solid. Highly recommend!!

If I can order everything on that menu I woulddd! I had the salmon burger and my friend had the mushroom sandwich and it was so so good. I couldn’t even tell if it was chicken or mushroom. There was so much flavor, your test but are definitely gonna be thanking you. If your an rush/and it’s busy definitely order head. Outside seating is available also

Great breakfast and brunch spot, looks like there’s some good weekend brunch specials too, will def check out next time. Food is made with love. Fried chicken sandwich was amazing, well seasoned. Also comes with side of sweet plantains which were cooked to perfection. Side salad ok, love the pikliz. Quite a few sandwiches to choose from. Egg fromage crepe was a yummy, egg/cheese/spinach/onion omelette packed with flavor. Sweet crepes and savory patties also available. Latte and cappuccino was on point. Love the art and vibes, playlist with a mix of soca and early 2000s hip hop was music to my ears. Felt like home. Few outdoor seating tables also available.

this was a fantastic Cafe. I really enjoy the fact that we can have nice things in this neighborhood and the neighborhood not be gentrified. This is a black owned business, and that is important to know. Especially in this neighborhood. I look forward to this business thriving in the future as the wave of gentrification ultimately makes its way as far as Utica Avenue. All of that out of the way, I must say that the Crepes were very good. I also enjoyed the smoothies. The staff is very friendly and complete orders in a timely manner. they also have a collection of games to play in case you and your friends want to come by and hang out. It's too bad they don't have a copy of the ultimate clap back.

This was one of the tastiest meals I have had in a long time. I had the Kreyol Shrimp Plate and it was delicious. There was so much flavor packed into everything. Spicy, sweet, sour, savory—all in one meal. Would absolutely come back and visit again next time I am in the neighborhood.

Lakou Cafe is such a gem. The food is packed with bold Haitian flavor and real spice—whether you’re vegan or a meat eater, there’s something here that absolutely hits. Their vegan options are thoughtful and satisfying, not an afterthought, and the meat dishes are just as rich and full of flavor. The full bar is a huge plus, with drinks that are so good I always grab them to go. On top of that, the atmosphere makes it a perfect social spot—warm, lively, and inviting. A great place to eat, drink, and hang out.

I have been to Lakou twice now, and each time, full of great music, food, people, and ambiance! I feel I am both in someone's backyard/Key West. It's a perfect outdoor venue. This is such a beautiful representation of Little Haiti, of Miami, and something we can all benefit from. I HIGHLY recommend and MOST definitely will be back again! Bonus: The service is top tier and all smiles :)

Love Lakou Cafe! The cocktails are amazing (we tried the cremas noir and they make their own spice blend in house ??) and the staff is so kind. Also had the Lakou Salmon burger and I’m gonna be thinking about it until I come back here. Very cute vibe, must try!

I went here on a Saturday night with a group of 11 people. Everyone LOVED the food - especially the mushroom sandwich. It seems like the sort of place that does a lot of takeout. We had to ask for things like water and silverware. The staff were all really friendly. I will definitely be going back to try more menu items - very impressive selection of vegan food.

Sitting in Lakou, eating the Kreyol Shrimp and Sos Pwa, I literally went on zillow to see if I could afford moving to BK from Michigan so that I could have more of this food. The staff was helpful and friendly, the food tasted like home, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was also very clear that they were a part of the community, caring about their neighbors (take a look at the posters in their windows). Cannot recommend Lakou Cafe enough. INCREDIBLE all around. 6/5 ⭐️

Okay so I initially came because of their Infamous Haitian cashew brittle which is literally mouth-wateringly delicious. I also wind up getting the roast chicken sandwich which was absolutely and utterly the most tastiest thing I've had in a long time. The chicken was Tastefully seasoned not too salty not to dry it comes with the side kale salad and some plantain chips. a must try! The staff was also super warm and helpful and the guys in the back preparing the food were also amazing. I will definitely come back for more Haitian cashew brittle and another sandwich!

Visiting New York for the first time in years. I had the mushroom sandwich and a cappuccino, and both were incredible. The sandwich was massive, crispy, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best plant-based sandwiches I’ve had. It came with plantain chips, a kale salad, and spicy pickled veggies that added a perfect kick. The space is small but definitely has a community feel. While I was eating at the window bar, a woman sat down next to me and said, “I know you’re enjoying that sandwich” because she had it the week before. That kind of energy says a lot. I’ll absolutely come back.

Mmmm I ordered chickpea puff pastries and they were perfect. So soft and flaky and fresh 😍😍 I agree with past comments that they could use a bit more filling because I ate 2 and was still truly starving afterwards. I ordered them to hold me over until lunch and it felt as if I ate nothing at all

i am a former barista and just moved to crown heights from the UWS so I have been searching for cafés to fulfill my cortado cravings. i tried going to a different cafe in utica and they were out of food. i passed by this place and was intrigued by the beautiful signage. decided to head in. First of all, the espresso is amazing. creamy, chocolatey and buttery. which i imagine is because of the talent of the barista and the beans they use. the beans seem to be a specialty roast based in Haiti. Incredible! Highly recommend. The barista with the septum ring and necklaces is very talented and i had a perfect cortado. I got the fried mushroom sandwich. Wow. This might have been the best vegetarian sandwich i’ve ever had. the mushroom was perfectly fried, it was crunchy and spiced beautifully. the salad which usually is hit or miss was delicious. even the coleslaw - which was spicy and briny. cannot wait to come back and try out more of their menu. Lakou not only seems to be an amazing cafe but committed to uplifting the Haitian diaspora in the neighborhood. amazing and made my saturday afternoon great :)

I loved the vibe and decor of this restaurant. My cafe au lait was perfectly made. I was excited to try the fried mushroom sandwich, it was good but just too salty for my liking. Would like to go back and try a different option.

I truly appreciate the food from here; it's my go-to when I crave comforting Haitian dishes. However, I was a bit disappointed with the “pat” rice I received today. As a Haitian American, I've heard people complain about “pat” rice and experiencing it firsthand was not pleasant. It was far too mushy for my taste, and disgusting. I genuinely love the food here, and I hope this was just an off day. We all know that rice is what makes the meal, and right now, I have no meal and I’m hungry. Thank you for understanding! I tried calling but nobody answered so here we are.

*LATE REVIEW* I purchased from Lakou on 7/11/24……I was skeptical about getting food from here, but I did anyway. Ernest greeted me as I walked in. He took his time in assisting me in choosing which food to order as I explained to him that my mom wanted legume, he made me feel comfortable and not rushed. I questioned about the drinks and boy was I happy I did the cremas was on point. I ordered pastries for my nieces and daughter…. This was my very first time there and I am pleased to say that customer service was present and appreciated…… The legume was a bit on the salty side so my mom couldn’t eat it, the only thing my mom was able to eat was the rice in which I had to buy something else elsewhere to make up for the legume. The cookies were hard and my nieces ended up throwing them away, in a positive note they enjoyed the cakes, and the chickpea patty. It definitely is a lil pricey there.

Love the vibe here. I would definitely come here more if I lived closer. My boyfriend liked his cortado and pastry, while my Haitian drip was kind of watery. I got to sample one of the smoothies and it was delicious. So I probably just ordered the wrong thing. Hope to come back!

great place in the neighborhood. current favorites are the green goddess smoothie, the legim, and the soup joumou. not a fan of the spinach patty i had, but everything else i've tried has been good so far! can sometimes take a while to get your order, even if it doesn't seem crowded. maybe they just get a lot of online orders? one time i ordered online and when i got there they said they didn't get it so they never started preparing it. so order online at your own risk.

Compared to authentic Haitian restaurants in Canarsie or Miami this place fell short. The flavors are really good just not authentic. The patties and smoothies are really good. 100% recommend for vegans.

My visit was brief. I passed by in the afternoon on my way to work; I didn't have time to fully enjoy everything that Lakou had to offer. I will definitely be back.

Didn’t taste like authentic Haitian food, and they forgot my pikliz. However, portion was good, and I liked that they had some DJ’s out front on their Independence Day- I’ll be back to give them another chance.

I was happy that I got to finally visit here and try the vegan griot. Overall, the food was very good and I enjoyed the vegan griot and thought this was a creative dish to put on their menu. Furthermore, the chickpeas patty was very good. The only thing is the customer service could be a little better where guests feel more welcomed at the establishment, otherwise great food and nice ambience.

Great spot for a Haitian Patty that’s on the lighter side. Codfish patty was a tad dry but the chicken was well seasoned and flaky. Got a latte with almond milk and it was one of the best lattes I’ve had especially at this price point. Such a great neighborhood staple and the music is phenomenal (Kompa, neo-soul, Afrobeats and more).

The whole meal tasted very fresh and earth ; whatever it was that made it taste that way great spin . Was not happy with the taste of the plantains was dry and tasteless . However the meal got me full . It was made in a fashionable time span . The beautiful art decor is what I love most about the spot along with the great customer services . Recommend their salmon platter as well you won’t regret it .

Walked in spontaneously tonight while taking shelter from the snow. The mushroom sandwich was incredible and we loved the mixed vegetarian plate & banana bread for dessert. We’re not vegan but always love to substitute a poor chicken with a delicious mushroom. Great service from the barista! Support this local business!

So I had the soup here and it was absolutely wonderful. It was nice and hot filled with potatoes vegetables and the regular j o u m o u flavoring. I also had a veggie patty. I like the way the bread is very soft and crunchy at the same time. Now customer service was good however I was charged a tip I did not bother to leave a tip however the staff member placed in the tip. This is not fair this is not good practice. Please change the card swipe so it does not charge your customer a tip this is at the discretion of your customer. The next thing that's an issue for me I rolled up in there 11:00 a.m. why was music blasting so loud I had to repeat myself three times and ask the staff member who was taking my order what did she say over and over again. There's no reason why the music should be playing so very loudly. If you need to stay up drink a cup of coffee. I think that took away from the enjoyment of wanting to stay and possibly just gather in the front or even sit for a minute. I do hope on my next return these things have changed otherwise I know a number of other Haitian restaurants they may not be in the neighborhood but they do listen to their customers and try to improve upon what we ask of them. So keep up the good work with the food and hopefully I'll see you again and try something new.

Gay dude working the front end was not friendly. Spent $30+. Including a pineapple ginger juice. They use cheap ingredients and charge top dollar (dole pineapple concentrate). The pastries were good. Crepe, was ok.

Don't usually do this because I love to support heard so many good things about this place literally just left there ordered a latte...it was horrible ask for an extra shot..he did not know how to ring it up so I left...mind you almost 8 dollars with tip which I don't mind but make it worth it.

The place is loud and small, and the food took one hour to get to us, for no reason at all and without any apologies. Not worth it.

The wait times here are consistently frustrating. There’s usually only one person trying to manage multiple customers, which leads to long delays. No acknowledgement of any kind while you stand in front of the cashier watching her work or making a drink, not even a I’ll be right with you. Out of the five times I’ve visited, I had to leave twice without being helped. I once waited 20 mins just for someone to tell me they were out of patties.

Sad to give this place a bad review but the service was not worth traveling across brooklyn for. Food was good but the service left the worst taste in my mouth. There was a VERY RUDE and INHOSPITABLE young black woman cashier/barista working yesterday (9/15/25) She got overwhelmed and snappy as soon as there were more than a 10 ppl in the restaurant. There are ways to tell customers you need a couple more minutes in between orders that are not dismissive and off putting. She was so sweet to the white woman in my party of 3 Eating In (remember that part) but whenever it was my turn (dark skinned black woman) time to order or do anything it was met with a flippant- Im too busy for this attitude. I ordered immediately after my 2 fellow dinees. The two people I was dining with got their food before me and I graciously told them to go ahead and eat. 15 mins later my friend chicken plate was still not ready. I checked in twice because it felt strange to me to be waiting that long when I order immediately after the rest of my party at the register. I got spoken to very rudely about how the food is made to order and told I order after a big party of 6 who were also dining in. (I suspect that this cashier did not put in my order until later) Finally it arrives at the table almost 40 mins later- in a to go container and with plastic utensils. As if to say heres your food, get out of here.... SO RUDE. I had to demand a plate and real utensils and then had some heated words with the cashier for her rudeness. Then commences her stomping around and loudly slamming things behind the bar being immature and having a silent but noticeable tantrum. I ignored her and ate my food. They are smart to have you pre-pay bc I would have left without that food if I hadn't paid already bc of how I was being treated. But of course anytime the white woman in my party needed something she was happy to oblige and made a show of being helpful. To prove what? that I, a black woman, was the problem?? Is this a black owed business even? How I was treated makes me think otherwise or someone's niece is not well trained at all or too easily overstimulated to work in such an environment. Many other nice Haitian places that don't treat customers unequally and like a burden in Brooklyn. I will take the $30 it costs for 1 meal and 1 drink here and pay it ANYWHERE else but this. - Dee Daniel (since my email address does not include my name)

I ordered a ginger pineapple juice which was ok. I also ordered vegan plantain porridge, vegan coconut chickpea crepe and fried mushroom sandwich. The porridge was as expected. The crepe was bland and I received a chicken sandwich instead of the mushroom which was extremely disappointing. I spent $49 and wasn’t able to at least eat everything.

I was super disappointed with this place. I ordered the half roasted épis chicken with plantain on the side. The chicken was super DRY! The plantain were not fresh. I tried to eat the food. Nothing was going down my throat. I told the girl in the front that the chicken was dry. I asked her if this was fry chicken or roasted chicken. She said that it was roasted then FRIED! I try to get something else the lady gave me some salted shredded chicken almost soupy consistency. I asked her for some bread to eat with it. She said no.. I had a spiked margarita it was watered down.

It’s important to me that I celebrate and support Black owned businesses but this could place could use some work. Although, it’s a beautiful up and coming space with great bones and aesthetically pleasing spirit—the food quality is inconsistent and the service is TRASH. The baristas lack communication and service industry standard skills. They rarely greet you at arrival, or bring your food to your tables no matter how much you tip them—but for white clients, they go over the top to serve and meet their needs. Also, they take extra long for coffee AND food orders. Also, very money hungry. I tried a dish and I didn’t enjoy it so I asked to replace it. The cook went back and forth trying to argue. Mind you, I’ve been supporting this overpriced business for a couple months now. Unfortunately, won’t be supporting anymore unless the owner changes management and service workers.

I just bought a haitian soupe (Soup Joumou)here is what a have. This the worst restaurant ever. Don't waste your money over there.

My first visit there and my last. I'm haitian, born and raised so I understand and know the foods very well. I don't expect everybody to love how ppl cook but this was terrible. The patties was very very flat. I asked the girl that took my order "why was it so flat"? And she replied "when they are stacked on top of each other, it gets like this".. not an excuse. I then ordered the legim, my sister ordered the chicken. The sos pwa tasted very burnt. The rice extra dry and so was the chicken, and the fried plantain. To top it off. The customer service was terrible. Absolutely disgusting. I ordered take out and noticed there wasn't any forks n napkin. I asked her "don't you put utensils in the bag? It's for take out". She did not reply. She kept nodding her head no. Very disgusting behavior. Train the ppl you hire.its really bad customer service
