Went here yesterday fir the first time… we’ve been living in the area for 2 years! How have we not come here before!? Friendly staff, owner is super cool, drinks were amazing, and the food!!! I had to get a burger to go.
This bar is amazing , staff is great. They take care of you and they have good drinks as well. Some guy name nasim works there hes very cool I wish the manager would know hes amazing. He referred me to come to this bar I didnt regret it. Now I bring all my friends there we love it. Thankyou nasim !!
Perfect staff! Everybody here is knowledgeable in regard to making craft cocktails; their themed nights are always a blast, and the food is perfect every time! Best cocktails in Bushwick.
Love this place! It can get super busy but the drinks are so much fun and the food is so good for it being bar food. The dry rub wings and the fries are my favorite. I recommend the place to everyone
good vibes, fun times. hair ties in the bathroom- I appreciated that. I didn’t order food so can’t speak on that but the drinks were a-ok
My favorite bar, hands-down. They have fun events, great drinks, and the sliders are amazing. Make sure to follow them on Instagram to get info on what's going on there on a given night
My boyfriend and I went to this place on accident for my birthday and honestly it was amazing! The photo booth was a lot of fun and I got to bring home a flamingo! I will be back :)
We had a great time! We were not in the greatest mood when we showed up but between the positive atmosphere, kind and genuine server and tasty drinks, we left happy! We will be back.
My favorite hangout! Owner is very accessible and the whole staff are winners! They always have great tiki cocktail options and a tasty, generous menu. Thursday KARAOKE is particularly fun!
Delicious food + drinks (the Murder She Wrote cocktail is for sure a top 10 fruity cocktail of all time!!!), sweetest staff and loveliest performers at the drag brunch ☺️☺️☺️
Dromedary is such a special place. We've been going here for years. Great spot for date night or a group outing with friends. The drinks and food are amazing. The staff and owner are super nice.
Reallllllly Friendly staff and a great summer hang out. Great selection of cocktails and beers and the usual bar offerings. Amazing happy hour deal! 12$ for a Burger, Fries, Beer & a shot!
Yummy drinks, nice staff. Also, if you get one of their frozen drinks that are flavored with lavender syrup and guava, it comes with an awesome little inflatable flamingo! Fun!
Food is insanely good, cocktail menu is even better... And the prices are perfect!!! Brunch on the weekends and the non stop classic movies playing all the time have made a place that was already good to begin with GREAT!
A fun a really trendy bar. The drink were not too pricey, but very good. The energy the place had was very fun and a great to go out with friends. Add in karaoke and you have a memorable night
Went here on a Kareoke night and this place has a really nice, cozy, neighborhood bar feel to it. A shame they're closing soon as it seems like such a staple! And $2 Narragansetts can't be beat.
This place is great. Very hip atmosphere (bowie mural on the front wall 🔥🔥🔥). They have A/C and Karaoke on Thursdays. The Karaoke is really good btw. Haven't been on the weekends yet but I'm sure it's lit. Check it out!
Dromedary Bar have been doing an incredible job on dinners to-go for large groups for several weeks now. Their fun tiki-inspired cocktails are always delicious and the food is always a treat. They do a great job time and time again. Would highly recommend ordering dinner and cocktails to-go from Dromedary Bar and can't wait to dine in-person soon.
This place is amazing , trivia on Tuesdays and amazing tacos, staff is attentive and ready to help you have a good time. I would recommend this to friends or anyone visiting in the area! Thanks again for a good time as always and I can’t wait to come back next week!
this place is literally my all time favorite burger spot. the flamingo sauce is heavenly. always delivers fast. crispy beautiful french fries. awesome service. they just made my day so much better. thank you.
Extremely cute tiki themed bar with delicious craft cocktails. It's a great place for a chill fun vibe. There's also really good bar food including vegan options.
This place is adorable. The murals on the outside welcome you to a cozily lit, well decorated interior. They have 2 pinball machines, a stage, and outdoor seating. Their events are frequent and interesting. The food is great which is actual how I first found them. Their smoked tofu is ridiculous. The owner and bartenders are all super nice and the drinks here are amazing. There can sometimes be a wait but it's absolutely worth it.
Everything here was a good time. From the delicious cocktails, to the wait staff and the really exceptional bar menu. My group and I will definitely be coming back! Also, they have a real photo booth that prints out actual (instead of just digital) photos. I love this place.
Beer burger and fries for $15 , service that makes you feel at home , a pool table , tons of events every week , what more could a girl ask for
I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Drag brunch was sensational from the food to the staff to the queens and everything in between. Food was great, environment was so welcoming... 10/10 would recommend Dromedary!!!
The best cocktails in Bushwick, delicious burgers & fries, big vegan/vegetarian selection and the owner & bartenders are super fun and friendly. Trivia nights, drag brunch, open decks and lots of fun events year around. I also love that the cocktail menu is seasonal.
Cool rustic/tiki decor, neon flamingo vibes, very tasty cocktails and reasonably priced drinks, tasty burgers & fries, really friendly and inclusive staff and patrons. They do event nights as well like Karaoke which is fun. This place has it all and is super no frills and relaxed.
Great place to come for a cheap beer or a fun tiki drink. The bartender Danielle was super nice and very engaging. They usually have karaoke on Thursdays which is super fun. The food is definitely above bar average, the cheeseburger is delicious. Definitely a fun place to hang out.
Dromedary is one of those places that you’ll always remember when you think about a trip you did. The staff is amazing! All of them. Really good food, fair price and the atmosphere is awesome! Also, really good music! My drink and food was served right away. I will sure recommend this bar to everyone that plans coming to nyc.
My absolute favorite bar in the neighborhood. Super fun and creative cocktails, a burger joint in the back, never too crowded, music isn't too loud, AND a variety of games! Usually everyone is pretty friendly here, but there is one bartender who is kind of rude, though I wouldn't let that deter anyone from checking it out!
Recently reopened with a new fun vibe!!! Friendly staff and drink prices are good. They have vegan food options, fun community events, and a Photo Booth to help you remember your evening ;)
Great bar and Michael is the best bartender !
No bar will ever make you feel more at home and taken care of than Dromedary. Best drinks, best food, best prices, best bar tenders, best friends. Period. A shining beacon of affordability and quality in a city where a can of beer can very easily cost you 15 dollars. Definitely the best place to spend an evening.
We went there last Saturday and I just have to say their burger was THE BEST burger I’ve ever had in Bushwick. It’s so juicy and the fries are perfect! They also have this cute looking cocktail in little flamingo floatie which you get to keep :)The locals are super friendly, great bar atmosphere.
I ordered the Frickin' Chicken, They Flock Together (cocktail), and Boomerang Bowtie (cocktail). Both cocktails were delicious and balanced; strong, but subtly so. The Frickin' Chicken sandwich was well worth the $11. I imagine some might think it a little small for the price, but it compensated perfectly with flavor and simplicity. A chicken sandwich is usually just a chicken sandwich, but this is a chicken sandwich printed in BOLD letters. Social Distancing and adherence to City/State Guidelines should help anyone feel safe while dining here.
I don't know if it's because of summer, but this place is quickly becoming my favorite bar in Bushwick. It's a tiki bar with indoor and outdoor seating, plus dog-friendly, plus the always amazing Duncan's Burgers situated neatly in the back. The summer drinks are top-notch, Duncan's high-falootin' fast food is dope, and the staff are really great. I don't care how unmanly I look drinking a piña colada while having my cheeseburger in paradise.
I love Dromedary!! It's such a fun gay bar in Brooklyn and one of my favorite bars in Bushwick (Don't tell the others). While it has a lot of fun drag and events, it's still a cocktail bar, so I always know I'm going to have a great time and great drinks.
This place changed recently. So it’s not the tiki or gay bar it used to be. Looks kinda like a normal but nice dive bar. They’ve got a couple retro video game systems hooked up at the bar you can play.
Love it here! Great happy hour. Great food!
I love Mervs! :) everyone is so sweet and good at their job. Very good bar food too and vibey inside w a pool table! I’m so lucky this is just around the corner from me
I thought places like this went extinct in Bushwick years ago. Great place with genuine staff and no forced interactions. Great beer selection, drink specials, and a kitchen that’s open late hours. May I add their food selection is pretty great. Whether you’re there solo or with a friend, you’ll have a good time. Feels like a comfortable neighborhood bar in a rapidly changing neighborhood.
What a great, fun, relaxed, casual spot that’ll make you feel like you’re hanging out in the coolest den around. Great employees, delicious food, good music… and even though the drinks and East are inexpensive, it’s all done with care and an impressive to detail. One a date, with a group, or just out to make new friends, I highly recommend it!
I love this bar. The owners are super friendly and inviting. They make you feel like you are part of the family. Also, the bartenders are amazing and very attentive. You MUST try the fried pickles🤤. Edit 7/13/2023 I was not kidding when I said I love this place. Back for some karaoke and delicious food. Frickin chicken Fried pickles Vodka with cranberry juice
Super dope neighborhood bar. I've order (GREAT) burgers from here countless times, but finally decided to walk inside. So glad I did. The decor is super chill, like the city version of a Tiki Bar if that makes sense lol. The drinks were awesome. The bartenders helped me through the menu, as I was a tiki virgin. Overall good spot, definitely being a regular.
I think my friends and I caught or spread COVID19 from this place back in March 2020. We all got sick, myself being the first. I love their creative drinks, and the tater tots, I haven't been back since but the game cards and bathroom were a little bit grody as you may come to expect from divey Brooklyn bars back then. Any changes to cleaning since?
Great drinks, friendly owner /bartender.. Very creative combos! Food was also good, was there on a taco Tuesday they were very tasty and affordable.
Not an all out tiki bar but still a tiki bar. Great beer and a shot deals. Low key place that allows dogs and serve food so you don't get into too much trouble
place is all sorts of awesome. 90's hip hop blasting, French bartenders, cricket bitters in tiki cocktails, and random flicks projected on the wall. kudos to being as weird as Brooklyn is.
pricey but the loaded fries are so good, i’ve never been disappointed. the drinks are also really good. maybe i’m just a college student, but i can’t afford to come here too often
This is just a food review, not a review for the actual bar experience. Food here is pretty good, however if you're a cost conscious person you'll dread at the price. I love the Flamingo fries tho- good stuff.
This tiki bar isn't phoning it in! Decor is tasteful and not overly kitschy. Good collection of tiki mugs on shelves. Pinball machines. Limited Outdoor Seating. Friendly staff. No freakin' teevees, so that was good. Music was audible, but not too loud. A very chill environment. Tried 4 of their signature drinks: Dromedary, Frozen Flamingo, Welcome to Havana, and Mt. Kilauea. Dromedary is their "mai tai" variation, using cricket bitters!?!? Still, tasty. Mt. Kilauea was on happy hour and well worth it. Frozen Flamingo was tasty and came with the inflatable cup holder. Only the Welcome to Havana was a disappointment. Maybe just not my thing. Bartender was a young woman who could sling a shaker like a pro. Around 7pm, the bar was flooded suddenly with youngsters ordering cheap beer and vodka drinks. The bartender was overwhelmed and many of us who wanted drinks had to wait A LONG TIME (25+ minutes) just to order. Not the bartender's fault. Management should post additional staff earlier in evening. Will be back to enjoy this bar. Definitely a "geek" and "nerd" vibe here, and there's apparently burlesque once a month. Can't go wrong with tiki and burlesque.
This is a nice place. Love the open wall/doors to outside. We was there for a drag show. The show was great. Very entertaining. Loved it. The bar offered a brunch special with endless mimosas. But waited util the check to informus that the mimosas is a seperate charge per person. $40! But i just paid for finger food that comes with that. But not. Food was seperate from the pitch of mimosas.
Went here for a Tuesday night trivia. Liked the quiz conducted by trivia general. The food was ok; tried the plant based meat burger and found it unique, though I may not order it again. If you are into trivia nights do visit the place on a Tuesday night
Great cocktails, slow service sometimes. The drinks are delicious and boozy and the atmosphere is fun and charming. I'd recommend going early or late to avoid the crowds and have faster service!
They have karaoke from 10 until 1 on Thursdays and free comedy on Sundays at 8:30 or 9. They deliver food as well and the riders are pretty fast within a one mile radius. Any further is only a slightly longer wait. Solid joint in the hinterlands of Bushwick... only a short walk to the train.
So we came here today for my best friend birthday and definitely enjoyed ourselves. The performance was outstanding and worth the travel. What we didn't like is that we brought the Brunch bottomless mimosa which was $40 and It included a Dish which we didn't get because we ate before we arrived "so we ordered fried & tater tots but was charged $40 pp & that wasnt stated on the menu ANYWHERE.. Anyway we might return to see the performers again they where a blast❤️💃🏽& the energy was awesome
Went to Dromedary for the first time to attend a fundraiser hosted by a friend. The drinks were perfect, and the Poutine and Fried Pickles were delicious! The staff were all very helpful. The only downside was the 9 inch step I had to be carried up in my wheelchair.
I went on Sunday for the drag brunch. I ordered a breakfast burger with fries , and tbh , it was soooo delicious. Disclosure : when it comes to the pitchers, I’ve seen bigger for the price. However, if you participate in the brunch it is 3 HOURS.I do wish there were more pitcher options besides Bellini. When it comes to the wings, they are good, however , the sauce they put is overwhelming. It’s almost as if they just dipped the chicken and put it in the plate to serve. The decor and vibe is beautiful though it is a small and intimate space. So if you have a big group, do not show up at busy times or show up early if there is an advertised event. I live fairly far from Brooklyn , lol, but I would definitely come again with a friend for a chill time. The photo attached is a screenshot from a video I took.
The moment I turned 21 this was the very first bar I ever step foot into. And, in all honesty this place is hands down my go to place and even my home. But lately me and my friends have encountered a rude bartender. We understand that bartenders should be tipped but I don’t understand why she feels the need to call us out, especially if she isn’t the one that made our drinks in the first place. We always tip OUR bartenders, especially if we had a good night. The bar over all is such a great place, besides our encounter with that bartender.
Nice tiki bar in Brooklyn! I went toward the end of Covid regulations in NYC (May 2021) just when things were opening up a bit more. Our drinks were tasty and the place had a cool vibe. I especially liked controlling the Jukebox with our Spotify playlist. You have to pay to do it, but it was fun regardless.
Actually this bar while deeper in bk is great! It has a large indoor space, with great selection of drinks. However proving feels like your in Manhattan. Drinks are strong and they have some funky specials with cool ways of serving then to you. It's well worth the travel and take a bunch of friends for a good night.
Came for the Sunday brunch menu, which lists “bottomless Bloody Mary’s,” but they were out of mix by 11am despite the place being empty. Tried settling on Hot Toddy’s and were told those were also unavailable. The bartender was rude, unhelpful in navigating us through their available options, and generally unaccommodating. Extra star afforded for pinball.
Cute space, well themed, well-decóred - overall good vibes. Was there for an "I Heart Burlesque" show - featuring a variety of burlesque artists and the event was sponsored by some rum company. My party and I arrived about 15 minutes before the show was scheduled and the space was pretty full. The food looked and smelled delicious, and judging by some of the other reviews, it probably tastes good too. That said, this place DEFINITELY has a management/service issue. I was originally going to write-off last night's experience as just a "bad night" but after reading MANY others' review, there seems to be a pattern. There were 3-4 people behind the bar at any given time, however, only 2 were actively making drinks and they were not particularly responsive and worked really slowly. I mean, I get you have some complicated drinks on the menu, and that's fine, but at least acknowledge everyone else who's standing around waiting to make eye contact (also, if you're gonna have a major event with an influx of patrons, perhaps make a toned-down menu with easier cocktails? Just a management suggestion). The 2 other folks who were behind the bar were just there collecting and cleaning glasses - in fact one of them had to insist that they were "only a bar-back" and couldn't help with taking an order, or even splitting a $5 to make change. Like, you're (the venue) hosting an event - with the plan to make money and increase revenue - and then severely under-staff the bar, and have insufficient amount of bills in the register so that people could leave tips to their servers and the burlesque artists - that's just REALLY REALLY POOR PLANNING (and frankly undermines the point of having a SPONSORED event, and frankly suggests a deep lack of respect for your patrons). Then, to add insult to injury, it took 20 minutes (I wish I was exaggerating, but I timed it) for us to get acknowledged and have 3 drinks served. One of them was a Sazerac (the other two were simple, a vodka soda and scotch on the rocks) - the minute the bartender asked if I wanted it on the rocks or straight up, I should have just changed my order. If you don't know that a Sazerac is SUPPOSED to be served SUPER CHILLED and STRAIGHT, then you have NO BUSINESS MAKING THE DRINK. After I had clarified that I'd like it super cold and straight, I received a *clear* drink, lukewarm, with a lemon twist (I'll take responsibility for this one - that's on me, I should have known better). It did NOT taste like a Sazerac. It wasn't a Sazerac. I drank it in silence, because I didn't want to deal with having this corrected and having to deal with the bartender's attitude when I eventually would get their attention again. Of course, the standoffish attitudes coming off the 2 bartenders who were actively making drinks didn't help (as if they were doing ME a favor for being there and I was annoying them with my drink order), but I'm just chalking that up to being understaffed and overworked for the evening - but this does seem to be a pattern at this place. Overall, I like the space, but the service really puts a major ding on the experience. Unless this improves significantly, I don't really see myself coming back here.
I tried to get a drink and was ignored. Girl next to me waiting asked if she wanted to place bets on if we ever get served. Tried again an hour and half later when I piggyback off someone's order. Made someone else order me fries. Vibe is chilled with good friends and food is greasy good.
Nice spot...but your experience may vary depending on the bartender you encounter. Also, the "poutine" is basically skinny fries covered with small mozzarella sticks drizzled in gravy. Not the poutine I was expecting.
Came here last night with my 4 of my girls, we called to see if the kitchen was open and they told us we had 20 mins. We rushed over there and got there in 5 mins and the guy at the bar (Nick) was annoyed with us from the second we got there. Gave us a nasty attitude and told us "you better order in 5 mins" when we still were supposed to have 15 mins. Whatever, I've worked in food service so I understand it can be frustrating but he clearly wanted us to leave from the moment we got there. We rush ordered our food and when it came time to order drinks, he refused to serve my friend because she only had a temporary photo of her ID (along with multiple other forms of ID and all of her cards that had her name on them) The most annoying part about that is that the bar was dead to begin with so it was weird for a little hole in the wall bar like that to refuse service. When he checked my ID he stared at it for probably a solid 30 seconds and stared at me and shook his head? It was weird I am 28 years old and definitely don't look under 21. Regardless, we stayed because we had already ordered our food and were hungry. I waited 30 mins for my drink and when I asked him about it he said I had never ordered it and then asked me if he had already checked my ID. I was so confused why he didn't want to serve us so bad. The drink was okay, the 3 stars are for the food which was really good. They have Vegan options which I was happy to see. When our food arrived he basically slammed it on our table and then didn't give us water until we were basically done with the food. I wish they would've told us that the kitchen was closed if they didn't want to serve us. We had to rush everything since we couldn't enjoy some drinks together and ended up going to another spot nearby for drinks. We walked up to the bar to wait for our bill and sat there for about 15 mins just waiting when the bar wasn't even busy for it to take that long, I don't even want to know what the service is like on a busy night. When he finally came over to us he skipped right over the itemized bill portion and when we asked to see it so we could see how much he tipped himself, he said he could e-mail it to us. Overall, the place has potential. The environment was cute, food was good, drinks are okay but they could definitely improve their customer service. I think if they brought in stronger employees this place could do really well. Maybe an additional bartender would help since Nick was so overwhelmed on a slow night.
A nice chill tiki bar with a good bartender. My friend has been going here since she moved to the area and invited me to go here. It's nice and casual and there's no hipsters lingering around. The drinks aren't bad, we had a glass of wine. One of the better bars in bushwick.
I enjoyed the atmosphere at this local bar a lot. Everyone was having fun and although it was a little noisy, not so much that you couldn't hear your friends. The tiki drink was not the best I've had, but I would still give it another try. At the very least it felt like a place you can really spend some time and meet interesting locals while enjoying some cold drinks. Will go and give it another shot!
I really like hanging out here and I want to give the service workers the benefit of the doubt but someone literally stole my food from the kitchen before it was delivered to my table and the bartender was like "this has happened three times in the past week." She refunded my order (from her tip money which felt wrong to take but I had paid cash) but by that time I was hungry and the kitchen had closed. Speaks more to the bad behavior of some of the guests I suppose. People just hang around and try to steal free food straight from the kitchen window I guess...? Some lowlifes hanging around.
Old school dive bar with a good karaoke night. The bartender mixed up my order and overcharged my card, but my friends love this place so I'll probably be back again (and pay only with cash).
Used to love this place, went back last night for first time in 2 years. Vibe is different, service was BAD. Bartenders didn't acknowledge or say hi, wasn't busy. Just very unwelcoming. We left and went somewhere else. Menu is slimmed down, front door looked locked and closed. Sadly not the same as it was before.
I got food poisoning from this place; my stomach is still slightly off today. I ate takeout Saturday night, woke up around 2 am, and vomited for 4 hours. Sick from the smokehouse burger. Please check on food so No one else gets sick.
Giving a second star because there were nice people who seemed like regulars. Staff was super not friendly and honestly made my group feel unwelcome even though we were low key and barely asked for much. Such a shame when the suburbs comes to bushwick and then pretends to be super open but really comes off as subconsciously racist. I wish I could say this was a rare experience but it’s endless in this new Brooklyn I barely recognize.
They are advertised to staying open till 2:00 AM on a Sunday however, when I went there at 6:30 they were closed they should be sued for false advertising. I’ll probably give it one more chance and come back again, but they are on thin ice.
Great food but unwelcoming bartender… as if they’re mad they have to serve you. I would go back for the food, but I hope a different bartender is there. (Pictured: Feisty Fried Pickles - $10, Scorpion Tots - $12, Double Hump Cheese Burger - $12, Goat & Honey Bacon Burger - $11, The Delightfully Delicious Chicken-Less (Vegan) - $12, Side Fried Pickles - $7, Vodka Martini - $11) Prices were great for the amount and quality of food!
Normally I love this restaurant, they have great food and the customer service is usually great, usually being the operative word. On July 6, 2018 I placed an order via Grubhub. I was informed my order would be delivered in about 1 hr, which is typical and I would never complain about that. I waited and waited and after an hour and a half passed I have them the benefit of the doubt and figured it’s friday night, must be busy. Once it approached 2 hours with no contact however, I called the restaurant directly to track the order progress. At which time I was told by whomever answered the phone that they had attempted to deliver the order and made two attempts to call and contact as well as informing Grubhub who also apparently tried to contact and got no response. At that point I informed the gentleman that I had not received any missed calls or texts about my order. I asked the man to repeat the number they had on file for my account and sure enough it was correct so I’m not sure why I had no missed calls registered. I chose to contact Grubhub directly. Immediately after hanging up I placed a call to Grubhub and informed them of the situation. I was told by the representative that it stated that delivery had been attempted but that NO communication had been on the restaurant side or by Grubhub. After I concluded my first call with Grubhub, luck would have it that their customer service line called to let me know that the restaurant had tried to deliver but was unsuccessful. I asked the young lady if they had just received a call from the restaurant and she confirmed which would suggest that the man was dishonest about previously contacting Grubhub. This more than anything was what upset me and despite the great food, I WILL NOT order from this restaurant again. I am very disappointed with the customer service and hopefully the restaurant management can address issues like this so they don’t occur in the future.
As an owner, you should do right by your staff. You had a single bartender making signature cocktails during happy hour with no help. She was swamped. And because of this she won’t get everybody’s drinks in a timely fashion thus she won’t get tipped. You’ll get your money but she will suffer. Do better. Have a bar back. Have help for her.
Went there last night for dinner and drinks. The drinks were not great, my girlfriend got a shot with a pickle back and she almost threw it up, it was not pickle juice. When it came to the food, we both got a vegan options. My vegan burger was not cooked and my girlfriends chicken sandwich was hard to bite through. Overcooked, rubbery, and tasted foul. We were hoped to be saved by our old bay crinkle fries, which had zero seasoning on them and were stale. It was a super disappointing night and the food made us sick. The place wasnt even busy and few orders were coming out, but the bartender said they were slammed in the kitchen. Which made no sense. There was only 4 other people in the restaurant and maybe 2 to go orders i saw come out. We have been coming here since they opened and have always spoke highly of this place to friends encouraging them to come try it. So this was very disappointing to us.
Bartender greeted us wordlessly, handed me a cocktail menu then ignored us for 25 minutes. Midnight on a Friday, place was FAR from packed. Maybe 10 people outside, about 20 people inside. Left without placing an order. Typical of the "too-cool" spots in this town, where two people finishing an almost 20 hour day of work can't even sit down to enjoy a drink. First time and last time inside Dromedary. Too bad, we live blocks away, and the food is quite good. But I will NEVER bother coming back, and I'll be sure to tell others not to go. This won't be the only review. <br>UPDATE: maybe instead of answering a Google alert at 1am, as the owner of this place you should spend some time training your wait staff in hospitality. Your apology is not sincere, as you never offered one. Also, this is not the first time someone has complained about being totally ignored at the bar in Dromedary.
Was here a few weeks ago. Good place for tiki drinks. Service is slow though even when you’re sitting at the bar and can clearly see they’re not busy. But it might be related to the next point: my white friend showed up before me and the bartender working that night didn’t ask him for a proof of vaccination before serving him. Then when I got there I had to show mine—which is fine, but it’s weird that he didn’t have to but I did. So if you’re Asian, you might experience a double standard in service and treatment from one of the bartenders. She was the woman working the bar on August 28th.
Everything here was good drinks, ambiance, prices etc until it came to using the Touchtune Machine. My friend & I purchased a ton of credits and queued up music that I would consider safe to play or widely known with other patrons (People were dancing) and then all of sudden machine gets shut down completely and bartender tells us “Oh there was system malfunction” meanwhile, there was no issue before when the other few songs played. Well, more than likely happened was management wasn’t a fan of The genre of tunes and decided to override and shut it off on purpose. What’s the point of having the machine in there if you don’t want people paying and picking out songs?
