What a great spot for brunch. Make sure you make reservations before you go. Order the Challah French Toast!!
I had lamb dish for lunch and it was soooo good. The waitress on that day (1/27/25) was really nice and friendly.
I think the pictures speak for themselves here. We came for brunch and this place hit the spot so nicely. Big portions, tasty, cooked perfectly. We were blown away and need to come back to taste more of their menu. The only dish that was not 100% there was the potato pancake, too oily and a bit charred. Great prices and good service! Will come back!
What a great neighborhood gem. Their brunch options are to die for. Great ambience and food quality, tasty authentic Israeli foods. Thank you so much, we will be back for more. Notice there are two doors - one is for street food and another one for restaurant. Menu is different but experience must be amazing in both.
We made a last minute reservation before a nets game and it was the best decision we ever made. There’s probably nothing bad in the menu, we loved everything we got. Specifically the Brussels sprouts and hummus as appetizers, I could’ve eaten 45 orders of those. The service was so freaking kind, they made suggestions for drinks and cocktails, everything loved them. I will def come back
Miriam is such a great spot. The food is delicious, the portions are generous (perfect for sharing between two), and the flavors are incredible. The pitas are honestly some of the best I’ve had. We tried the chicken shawarma, which was wonderful. It comes with rice and a small Israeli salad, and everything was seasoned beautifully. The service was excellent, super attentive and kind. They also offer special menus for Jewish holidays like Rosh Hashanah, which is a really nice touch. Price-wise, it’s not cheap, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality. Overall, just a really good restaurant, great food, great service, and one I’d happily come back to once they finish renovating their original location.
Come hungry! Seriously, the portions are generous and delicious. But that doesn’t mean the food isn’t wonderfully prepared and fresh tasting. For the price I’d describe it as a good value and most of the main entrees could be shared (especially with an appetizer). I really want to go back and try more of the dishes…next time I’ll come hungrier! It has a nice cozy ambiance, but not too cramped. Only complaint was the service was sometimes hard to track down (like to grab a new fork or get a water refill).
Came in for a late lunch on a Friday, and we were the only table at that hour and it felt nice and super relaxed. Service was as a result fast and attentive. We got the chicken shawarma and quesadillas, and they were both very tasty. Especially love the quesadillas. The pancake was super crispy and flaky, and kinda tasted like the Chinese scallion pancake. The chicken shawarma has a generous portion and the meat was very flavorful. Great food and will come back.
Such flavorful incredible breakfast! The burekas came with a light crisp fluffy pastry stuffed with tangy olive tapenade—very good—and it was especially good dipped in the labneh (Greek yogurt w/ seasoning). I ordered poached eggs for the eggs and they were great. The falafels, shakshuka, and potato latkes were also all so good! The sweet pear sauce on latkes was new for me but I loved it with just the sour cream. It was so hard to choose items from their menu.
Very nice portions and very flavourful food!! Sat outside and ordered some chicken shawarma and the lamb. Both very flavourful dishes. Shawarma: Just to note the chicken is primarily dark meat. I am ok with that but my mother doesn’t love dark meet and wasn’t able to enjoy. Lamb: More of a Moroccan style. Very good if you like that. Overall would come back!
Incredible gem in park slope, took my partner on a date here yesterday. We had never had Israeli food and everything blew us away. The wrapped shrimp, pomegranate meatballs and the beef shawarma were out of this world. Completely incredible meal, wonderful service and great drinks. We'll be back soon. Please support this spot you won't be disappointed!!
Absolutely delicious, with borekas to die for. You are obligated to get them. The digs are fairly unpretentious and you can’t get reservations (not “won’t”, I mean literally -can’t-). We had a nice range of brunch food on a Saturday and everything was devoured. Not a weak item in the bunch, although I’d love to see even tighter controls on sourcing whenever possible. I noticed they did offer someone else not organic/sustainable condiments when asked. Just a small note. Service is unhurried, very friendly. And it’s well staffed in terms of ratio of staff to diners. The ceramic used on the plates is very high quality and glassware is nice. Napkins / silverware nothing fancy. Highly recommended as some of the best Brooklyn brunch!
Fantastic brunch spot! FOOD: The pita, cheese, eggs, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I love that the food is vegetarian-friendly. SERVICE: The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant got more crowded as we ate but our waiter remained calm and continued to check in on us regularly. COVID PRECAUTIONS: The staff wore masks and checked our vaccination records and ID for indoor seating. The tables had dividers in between them!

SO GOOD!!!! I think about their dip platter once a week. Everything we had there was amazing. They also had really good drinks. Their service was great!
Awesome food! There is usually a little bit of a wait but the food was well worth it! Will be back!
Best meal I've had in years! Our server, Erica, was excellent with her menu and wine suggestions! Just a lovely Valentine's Night.
Amazing Mediterranean food! We especially loved the lamb shawarma, falafel, and pita bread. Top flight food and excellent service on top - highly recommend!

Such a great brunch. The shakshuka, lox sandwich, malawach quesadilla, norwegian eggs and wild mushroom omelettes were so good.

Loved the brunch and really enjoyed the Green Shakshuka and Jerusalem breakfast. So good! Great outdoor space and deliciously different menu.

We walked in on a Saturday night at 7.30 PM and was seated at the bar right the way. The restaurant has a friendly local vibe with small table next to each. The problem is I was sitting on one side of the hallway and there’s another table on the other side, making it too narrow so people walking by bumped into my chair. Nevertheless it was a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend the steak leant, cooked to perfection, it’s both juicy, tender but not much so you can still chew on the meat. Small, cozy restaurant and good vibe
Popular brunch place we visited with friends. Our friends said the menu changed since they had last been. Overall several combinations offered for breakfast but it would be nice if there was one where you could mix and match the egg + simit/pita + side. I tried the avocado sandwich and really enjoyed it although could have used some more pickled onion and tomato could have been a nice addition. My friends had the popular breakfast and the smoked salmon latkes. Generally seemed like the chopped salad was left in varying amounts on everyone's plates, probably an indicator that another side might have been preferred. The kids enjoyed the challah French toast. Had to flag down our server for more coffee. Limited vegan or dairy free options. Menu skews savoury, only the challah French toast is on the sweeter side.
the vibes inside this restaurant are really nice, the servers are very attentive and the food was pretty good! my friend and i absolutely loved the lamb shawarma bowl (i forgot if that was what it was called) but it def filled us up and was extremely delicious. the only bad thing i have to say is the price point, i went in without looking at the menu beforehand and trusted google saying it would be $20-30 pp but its more like $30-50 as their main dishes are more in the 30-50 range and their apps are $20-30, me and my friend ended up splitting the apps and main to save money, but that bowl was worth, would come back js for that bowl.

Great brunch. Ordered 4 entrees including the granola and was happy with all of it. Latte, coffee and wine good. Service good.
We sat for brunch. Ordered the falafel dish, which comes with humus, a bit of chopped salad, tahini and a pita. Only 4 falafels for 23$ is disappointing. We also ordered the traditional Shakshuka, which was only ok. Not tasteful. The tomato sauce was not thick as it should be. We ordered 1 cappuccino and one americano, we were charged $5 each. Outrageous in my opinion. Overall an ok place to try Israeli food, but def not VFM spot

Meh. \n\ncompletely underwhelming. it's like they know how to cook but just get lazy during the middle and it comes out boring.
Made order much earlier. When i got there they asked to wait outside on summer sunny day in close to 90f. Are you kidding?

Miriam in Brooklyn has to be one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. First of all, the place was completely empty, and now I know why—no one in their right mind would willingly eat here. The …
A child’s perspective of restaurants: After we ordered everything came so so late. We had to wait over an hour and a half for the food to come. The people are really nice however it took them forever to serve the food. They also forgot about one of our dishes so we had to tell twice. Overall I ordered the French fries and they were not bad.
