I highly recommend this food. From my experiences, it is one of the ultimate comfort foods that is tasty, reasonably priced and enough for you to share💞. Also, delivery service maintains a respectful and timely repua. Help me advocate for Nacho Macho Taco to be one of the best restaurants in the area🙏.
This place hit the spot! I had a burrito bowl with grilled fish and it was so tasty and a perfectly sized portion. The classic marg was great too, as were the chips (warm on arrival) and a heaping bowl of guac. It’s a small, cozy environment with very friendly staff that will let you take your time! Highly recommend Nacho Macho if you’re craving a reliable (and not too expensive) Mexican meal.
The food is always delicious and the service is amazing. Friendliest folks working here who will give great advice on menu selections. They put love and thought into the ambience.
Nacho Macho dinners are always a true pleasure, and something my daughter and I look forward. The chicken nachos were delicious and so was the mole chicken burrito. The delivery was really fast too, which was a bonus for a school night.
A charming Mexican place with excellent service and a decent patio. The food was great. I had a pineapple margarita, which went down smooth. I would return!
Very great experience for the price the food was delicious! The service very kind. The decor added a great touch! It's always difficult knowing where to eat since we are from New Jersey. This was a great gem! Also I'm a water drinker my last experience drinking water from a restaurant in NY was terrible so naturally I was hesitant. But I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you
Oh. My. Goodness. If you're looking for a restaurant that understands the true meaning of "hangry prevention," then this is your spot. From the moment we sat down, they graced our table with the holy grail of appetizers: free chips and salsa. I mean, seriously, it's like they read my mind. Who doesn't love a little pre-meal snack to keep those ordering jitters at bay? Pure genius, I tell you. I opted for the burrito, and let me tell you, it didn't just hit the spot; it annihilated the spot, then did a celebratory dance on its grave. Utterly delicious. Beyond the food coma, the service was just as delightful. Our waiter was super friendly, which is always a bonus when you're trying to decide between the guacamole and the queso (the eternal struggle). The vibe of the place is perfectly neighborly. It's the kind of spot where you can actually hear your friends' jokes (and not just the muffled sounds of a million other conversations). Great for a casual get-together. Our only regret? We missed happy hour by a mere few minutes. Clearly, the universe was testing our patience. But honestly, with food this good and free chips on deck, it was still a win. We'll just have to be speedier next time!
We came here on a Saturday night around 6:30. Seated right away with no reservations. Service was 100/100 and atmosphere was great. Small inside seating area and outside seating area. The margaritas were excellent and made of high quality tequila especially the strawberry infused margaritas. The guacamole was fresh and delicious so were the chips. The white basa fish tacos were cooked to perfection and flaky. The chicken tacos were juicy and tasty. Everything was so delicious I forgot to take photos of the tacos and drinks. Highly recommend that you visit this place. I’m dubbing it a hidden gem. You’ll thank me later. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5
Thank you for this late night spot 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Late night dinner spot warning. When everything else was full with 1 hour wait… Nacho Macho Taco pulled through. Food was authentic and great. Prices were cheap and wonderful. They drinks were clearly made by a local! We left full and happy. This is a run too place! Don’t walk! Small area for dinning so best for couples or small groups. Huge menu, lots of choices. You will thank us later!
I visited from Philly . We decided to grab a bite to eat. I love a good Taco. Nacho Macho Taco came up in my Google search. Ingot the grilled shrimp and Carne asada and grilled chicken. They were really good and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was so nice. The staff was so friendly. It would definitely go back.
I’ve tried a lot of Mexican restaurants in prospect heights and crown heights, and Nacho Macho is still my overall favorite neighborhood spot. The food is delicious and served fresh on piping hot plates, it’s always a great value with good portions, margaritas and beers are on point, and the service is prompt and friendly. My wife and I often get the enchiladas and the burritos. The mole enchiladas and green chile enchiladas are awesome. We love that they always bring chips and salsa. Fun, casual spot with outdoor seating. Great for families too.
After getting delivery many times from here, I’ve eventually dined in. The food is quite similar to delivery, which was a good thing. I’d rate it like 3.75 but I’ll round up to 4. The fish tacos for $6ea were quite good. Classic Mexican American taco with cabbage, chipotle mayo sauce, and lime. I wish they added pico de gallo. The fish was nice. The nachos were a gluttonous slop plate of black beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and pico. The chips were good and held their shape without too much sog going on. Overall, it’s either this or Maya Taqueria in this neighborhood. This place has better dine-in atmosphere and vibes. Good place to get a bite after a long day at work or catch up with friends. 2 tacos, nachos, and a beer after T&T was $40. Bit costly…
My first time entering into this place and I must say I was a little hesitant. I hesitated only because of the construction work going on on the outside of the building. There was too much dust flying around and it just kept me away because dust flies. So I waited a second day but there was still construction outside but I had to try it today otherwise I would not be in the neighborhood for the next 2 months. I took the chance. I sat down and I was immediately greeted by a young handsome gentleman who took my order and explained to me the difference between a regular taco vs. the birria. The way he described it sounded so mouthwatering as he spoke about the juices from the meat and the diced onions I couldn't help but to say okay okay okay stop it bro You making me salvate over here real badly and it's not good to salvate on the table lol. So I ordered it and when it came out I was a little surprised because I'm not used to having a mushy texture taco. The cheese was great in flavor and the meat omg absolutely wonderfully seasoned nothing overly salty nothing overly spicy absolutely everything meshed well to make my taste buds want to cry out YES, THIS ISWHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. LOL. This place serves you a small amount of chips and salsa as a starter. The salsa was not like the salsa I'm used to having which would be the tiny dices of tomato and onion in a watery tomatoes sauce. But, that is one of the reasons why they are different. instead their salsa was more like a creamy sauce and I could be describing that incorrectly but it was a little thicker than puree maybe? Nonetheless it was spanking, omg the nice beautiful red color from the tomato the nice thickness as it sat on top of the tortilla chip helped to make it more enjoyable. Every time I go back and yes I will be back I will certainly ask for more salsa. I can put that salsa on anything. The location is not very easily seen even though it is at the corner. One could pass it by at least during the day I don't know if at night they have lights outside or something but during the day it can be easily passed by so it's a good thing they do have some type of outdoor seating going on. The interior is cute but definitely needs more room. With approximately six to seven tables maybe, it definitely does appear to be small. A place that has this much great food needs to be in a larger space so more people can enjoy what they offer. Also there is a bar so you definitely need the largest space because you need to set more drinks out. Thank you so very much to the young gentleman who waited my table I'm sorry I didn't get your name but we will talk again. Thank you for making my first experience here a deliciously great experience. Oh, before I go the bill was less than $35 and I would say it was well worth it. As far as parking you'll be better off either getting there very early or taking the b45, or b65 and walking over or take the iron horse. Parking especially with construction going on is challenging. So great job "I will be back," as Arnold says...
I usually love this place but today I want in Friday March 29 at 11:43 and got ready to set with my baby and he told me that I must put the stroller outside because of other people, there was no one else there , it turn me off so much I just put my baby back in the stroller and left . I’m a nanny been going here since it opened I this never happened to me before
They have a very inviting and funky fiesta themed dining area. The smell of the food in the air was amazing and I was so excited to taste my tacos (grilled chicken, carnitas and steak). They were presented so beautifully in my to go tray, but the excitement fell flat when I tasted the tacos. They were rather bland and a bit “doughy” because they doubled up on the corn tortillas. This took away from the essence of the meal, and just gave my mouth more work. I’m not sure I would try tacos from here again.
