Super good chinese food. You won’t be disappointed. Only things is if you pick up from there, they only accept cash just fyi. The grocery store across the street has a free atm I believe. Super fast delivery. I normally get the fried chicken wings or pork lo mein!

Really really considerate and attentive service. When Grubhub messed up my order they canceled the wrong items for me with no extra charge.

Delivery or takeout, New City is a consistently good experience. The food is fresh, well prepared, & reasonably priced. Their delivery is remarkably fast. The food is really tasty. What's more, I had the opportunity to discover that they operate the business with real integrity. Let me explain. Once--awhile back, I ordered via GrubHub and paid with a card. Talking on the phone when it was delivered--and not paying attention, I looked at the receipt, and without much thought, handed the delivery guy the total--in cash. Multitasking (and hungry), I closed the door, continuing my phone conversation. I was sincerely clueless of my mistake. Within 10-15 minutes my buzzer rang again. It was the owner/manager of New City, who--after walking up several flights of stairs, explained what had happened. They kindly refunded my overpayment of their own accord. I appreciated that and have never forgotten. Consistently good food & prices had already made me a frequent customer. Their kind, honest response to my error definitely reinforced that. I cannot say enough good things about New City. Loyal fan here! ❤️

Great pork fried rice and all day special deal. I’ve tried their lo mein, general tsos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup. All were delicious.

Wow, a takeout spot with 4.7 stars? I couldn't believe it... but as far as Chinese takeout restaurants go New City has got going on! The food is great, the sauces are silky, the price is right and it's next to the park where u can eat if the weather is nice. Most pleasant surprise was the diced spicy peppers garnishing my broccoli w garlic sauce. Garnish! Also they have chow fun, which is weirdly unavailable at a lot of places.

I've been a regular here for a handful of months and love it. Staff is polite, prices are fair, portion size is good, and food is consistent. Happy they're open very late too. I recommend the veggie dumplings, pork dumplings, and vegetable egg foo young!

This place is truly one of the last few authentic old school Chinese restaurants in Bushwick. The pricing for the amount of food I got was so affordable and the foods quality never missed and the portions were huge. I’ve definitely found my go to.

They have an all day special here where you can pick two entrees instead of just one. I got it with general tso's chicken and sweet & sour chicken, along with an order of wonton soup. All of it was good.

I love the Beef Chow Fun , they put a good amount of beef not like others , but I decided to buy chicken wings and fried rice . The wings were well done just like I like it . But the rice was too undercook . it was hard to eat . I ate the wings and had to throw away the rice . but it had a good flavor , just wish the rice was cooked .

You guys need to mince your dumpling meat more - its all grainy and gritty. Add a liquid like oil or fat and mince more.

Price hike with new ownership, no longer a good deal for the community. Don’t trust the process they have written down.

They give you old food.. nothing was fresh on march 27 for Stanwix street. By their own admission only thing was fresh was the half chicken. Unacceptable for $40. Never ordering again waste of money. No flavor in the food, old food at that
