Awesome. Get the best Grandma's pie in the 5 boros. Update: still awesome
What a treat it was to have some authentic NY style pizza after having been away for so long living elsewhere outside of New York. Everything was just right. Also took some fried calamari with a side of spaghetti to go and the portions were absolutely huge not to mention delicious as well. The sauce was just the right amount of spicy and the calamari was fried to perfection. Thanks for an awesome meal. Drop in and check them out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
Mamma Mia definitely delicious meals for all occasions. A+
Just a dang good old skool Ny pizzeria. The squares rock here but don't sleep on the round either. One of few places that still rock the old skool fruit punch and grape drink machines. Love it.
This is the best pizza in New York City, you have to try their pepperoni pizza and if you like garlic, the Sofia Loren is for you.
⸻ Nino’s in Bay Ridge makes the best grandma pie you will ever try. The crust is thin and perfectly crisp with just the right chew. The sauce is rich, fresh, and full of flavor while the cheese melts beautifully into every bite. Nothing is too heavy or greasy, just balanced and delicious. Every slice reminds you why Brooklyn pizza is second to none. Nino’s is a true neighborhood gem and their grandma pie is worth every visit.
I bought for 2 ppl n spent, I feel, the same amount it would cost if I went to the supermarket and bought 1 meal of items. Prob less. Love their food. Their garlic knot sandwiches are my fav.
Great old school pizza spot. Their special pies are really good. I enjoy the buffalo chicken a lot. There’s nothing bad here. I’ve tried almost everything behind the pizza counter and they’re all good. This is one of the best pizza spots in the area, you can’t go wrong.
When in the Bay Ridge area THIS is where you come for pizza. Nino's crew churn out some of the most consistently excellent tasting pizza in Brooklyn and should be noted for it. All their variations of toppings are excellent. We prefer a classic plain pie, but you can never go wrong with the grandma slice or Sophia Loren. I also without question; cannot stress how much their mozzarella pepperoni garlic knots are a delicious vampire killing value you must not pass up. Note if you are going to a business meeting or a date after eating one you will have garlic breadth, but it is soooo worth it. Stop by this Pizza shop, your satisfied hunger for quality food will thank you.
The pizza is good, but they charge a $5 fee to pay with a card. That is just awful, you lost a customer.
The pizza has lots of crumbs at the bottom as if they dont clean their oven. Its like eating the bottom of a bag of chips
I don't know why I keep giving this local spot a chance. It's just not worth the price. A standard cheese slice shouldn't be this offensive for over $3, but it is. Cheap flour, cheap bland unseasoned sauce, cheap government cheese. It's dollar slice quality. I guess you're paying for the rent of the place and the salaries of the over bloated staff. The cheap sauce and cheese also makes its way to everything else they make: rolls, heroes, pasta dishes, etc. Just go down the street in any other direction, and you'll run into a better option.
RIP Ninos!!! What was once, One of the old school greats has gone downhill. Very DOWN. Whoever took over this joint has no passion or love for pizza making! Ordered the regular pie and it was bad quality ingredients. Tasted bland and you can tell who ever made it didn't care. The grandma classic pie ...also terrible. The bottom was burnt and tasted burnt. The sauce looked like they opened a can of sauce and poured it on. It was soggy and greasy. Which is always not a good sign. It's seriously the worst pizza in America. Especially in a time where everyone is pizza crazy and ingredients mattered. This tasted disgusting. It has totally lost its value. GOODBYE FROM ME!
Terrible attitude. Trying to place an order and the owner yelled at me. I was asking for suggestions and he said he had no time for this and hung up on me.
Rice ball was the worst rice ball I ever had not fresh! Cheese pizza for one slice was $5 first time trying this place and my last time .I will stick to a better authentic Italian pizzerias that are much better than this one!
My favorite Grandma pizza used to be from Nino’s….. unfortunately the recent one was terrible. The crust tasted as if it is stale and old. I never had such bad crust like this…now I need to find a new go to pizza place !
How can something be both burnt and chewy and the same time?! My food was put in, forgotten about burnt and came out black plus soggy. Neither of us could finish our food. I still paid and while waiting for my change by the counter a man, I believe the owner, came inches from my face asking if I "needed something" in a not so friendly manner. It took every ounce of my not to direct my disgust directly at him. I had my daughter with me so... Many other great chooces in Bay Ridge. This one can be skipped.
