This is amazing Thai food. The atmosphere is so calming and the food never disappoints. We tried three appetizers (crab rangoon, wings, and fries) the papaya salad, clay pot rice and pad see yu. We enjoyed every single dish and the mocktail had quality fruit in it. Happy this is close to home.
Absolutely wow! I guess I walked in with very little expectation and was blown away by the quality of service, food, ambience, and even the bathroom decor! The staff were friendly and attentive. The food, the food! Definitely one of the better and more authentic Thai places I’ve had in NY. Get the shrimp donut - it’s meaty and bouncy like a fish cake but filled with delicious shrimp meat. I wanted to love the calamari because the fry and the coating on it was excellent, but the squid itself was tasteless and sometimes too chewy (maybe frozen squid?). The eggplant basil is a MUST! So flavorful with a bit of a kick and I love the different combination of veggies giving a variety of texture. I’d come back for this dish alone! And the reason why I can safely vouch for this place is because their Panang curry is not watered down - flavorful while being light at the same time and just a little spicy. I’m delight to have discovered this gem and I’m putting it on my list of best restaurants 2025! P.S. Got too hungry and forgot to take pics of the other food😅 P.P.S. I was incentivized with a free glass of Thai iced tea to write this review, but I am genuinely a fan. 😆
I had a really lovely dinner with a friend for her birthday in such a gorgeous setting! The service was out of this world- very attentive and friendly! And the food was so good! I got the pork pad see ew and my friend got the massaman curry- both were delicious and we’ll be back for sure!
Edit: Rua Thai got back to me about refunding the extra tip. Thanks! Aside from the tip issue, I've had great experiences eating here. Good food, but we were charged automatic gratuity and it was never mentioned on the menu or by the waiter, so we ended up tipping extra since they never mentioned it (over $50 extra). The receipt that showed the tip options just said the price of our meal + the automatic gratuity, but never mentioned tip was already applied, and showed tip options of 20%, 22%, and 25%.
I love Thai food and couldn't wait to endulge. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cozy restaurant. I was served by Patty and Mint. I started with the smoke on Smith's drink, and it was good! I also had a glass of red wine. For my appetizer, I got the curry dumplings a dn that was very tasty! For my meal, I got the Mama Tom Yum Grilled River Prawns, and that was delicious! I also had the Colossal Crab Fried Rice, and that was tasty as well. I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant!
We were passing by the area and we came in to have late lunch. The place is cozy and welcoming. We tried curry dumplings, drunken noodle and green curry and they were all delicious! We also tried fired ice cream and coconut sticky rice as dessert and they were yummy too~
Food and service was great. I will definitely be a returning customer. I was they're along with my spouse in my seven-year-old daughter and they had accommodation for everyone. This is a very quiet and chill scenery. Great for date nights.
I've been wanting to try this place for a while. It was worth the wait. It's a small place but it's comfortable. The decor is simple but very pretty. The service is good. The prices are very reasonable. I had the Shrimp Donuts and the were 😋. The drinks are good. They have a good happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed. I would definitely come back and try some other dishes.
The overall experience was amazing! The food was delicious, specifically the Massaman curry and Clay Pot Rice. That in combination with the lychee lemonade was truly an experience. If you have been thinking about going and looking at the reviews, please put it on your list for restaurants to try!
I just don’t have literally words to describe it ! 😍. I loved this Thai restaurant. This is my third time visiting a Thai Restaurant, this one is specifically,it’s perfect to visit with a group of friends or for a date 🥰🌹!The vibe and the music it’s good to have a good conversation. Services was phenomenal! 10/10. Food. 10/10. Drinks.10/10. Atmosphere 10/10. You must visit this restaurant for Valentine’s Day 🥰🥰❤️.
Had the coziest Thai date night at Rua Thai and loved every bite! We started with the Butterfly Lychee Mocktail and a fun Color-Changing Lemonade, followed by crispy Shrimp Donuts and golden Curry Puffs. For mains, the Fried Chicken with Massam Curry (served with fluffy rice and flaky roti) and the spicy, smoky Drunken Chicken Noodles were absolutely delicious. Ended the meal on a perfect note with their light and creamy Coconut Pudding. The vibe was peaceful and modern — highly recommend if you’re craving flavorful Thai food in a cozy, stylish setting! ✨
Rua Thai might just be the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Some dishes were absolute standouts, while a couple fell a bit short—but overall, it was a meal to remember. The shrimp donut was dangerously addictive—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The Penang curry was rich and sweet, with such a perfect balance of flavors it felt almost drinkable, like a warm, comforting broth. The mango sticky rice stole the show. The rice had a delicate, almost intoxicating flavor and the perfect soft texture, while the mango was perfectly ripe and sweet. Together, they created a dessert that felt truly special. The rice noodles, however, didn’t quite hit the mark. The texture leaned a little mushy, and the flavor lacked the smoky, distinct quality I wanted. The steak was well-prepared but under-seasoned, leaving it a bit flat compared to the other dishes.
We had such a delightful experience here! The shrimp donuts are an absolute must-try! They're perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and paired beautifully with the sweet and tangy chili sauce. The duck crepes were equally delicious. The crepes were light and airy, and the smoky-sweet flavor profile was so unique and satisfying. We loved the drinks too! The butterfly pea soda was incredibly refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. The color-changing lemonade was a magical touch--watching the colors change added so much fun to the experience! The steak was cooked to perfection, with a sauce that delivered a beautiful blend of umami and a subtle hint of spice. The mama tom yum dish was a standout! Imagine a tom yum noodle soup transformed into a stir-fry--it absorbed all the bold, spicy, and tangy flavors of the soup. The dish had just the right amount of spice, and the river prawns, which looked like mini lobsters, added a special touch. To finish, the mango sticky rice was stunningly presented and absolutely delicious. The mangoes were incredibly juicy and sweet--truly the perfect ending to our meal. The portion sizes were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied. We visited on Christmas Eve, and the cozy ambiance and festive playlist made it feel so homely. This is definitely a great spot for a date night, especially if you want to enjoy amazing food while having a good conversation. Lastly, a special shoutout to our server, who was so attentive and made sure our water glasses were always full. Highly recommended!
The Thai food here was so delicious ! The food was presented so beautifully. The flavors were so authentic and delicious. The noodles were so good and the large prawns were good. The drinks were also good. The server was friendly and the food came fast. They have a beautiful seating area with a gorgeous chandelier
Super pretty place !! I ordered the drunken noodles and they did not disappoint!! It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor I also had the fried tofu and wings which were PHENOMENAL!! The wings have a spicy tangy flavor which I’ve never had before and now I’m addicted!! Great drinks especially during happy hour we love this place now
This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The presentation of each dish is beautiful and the food tastes even better than it looks… which is hard! The service was great and super quick. The ambiance was great even for a Sunday night! The drinks were incredible and super cool. One came with gummy bears! Each dish blew me away.
Loved our cozy Thai date night at Rua Thai! The Butterfly Lychee Mocktail and Color-Changing Lemonade were both fun and refreshing. Shrimp Donuts and Curry Puffs were super crispy, and the Massam Curry with fried chicken was rich and comforting. Drunken Noodles were a spicy highlight! Finished with the perfect Coconut Pudding. Great vibes and even better food — highly recommend!
Come check out this Thai food in a floral fantasy at RUA Thai! I started with two unique Thai-inspired drinks. The first was the Tom Ka Za, a coconut-flavored rum cocktail infused with Thai herbs—creamy, fragrant, and full of character. The second was the Ma-Muang Radd, a refreshing mezcal cocktail with mango flavor. It was both smoky and bright, pairing perfectly with the food that followed. For appetizers, we tried the Shrimp Donuts—yes, donuts! They were crispy on the outside, meaty on the inside, and truly something different. Absolutely delicious. Next up was the Crab Rangoon, which was incredibly cheesy and rich with crab—melted in my mouth on the first bite. We then ordered their special Colossal Crab Fried Rice. It came beautifully served in a coconut shell and was packed with flavorful rice and generous crab meat. Exactly how crab fried rice should be. One of the highlights was their Tom Yum Grilled River Prawn Noodles. The noodles had just the right amount of spice and tang, and the prawns were grilled to perfection. The presentation of every dish was stunning, with clear attention to detail. To finish, I had their Coconut Pudding—served warm, creamy, and fresh out of the oven. It was the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. Overall, this was a beautiful and flavorful experience from start to finish. Every dish looked as good as it tasted. Highly recommend RUA Thai for a unique and memorable dining experience.
If you love Thai food, this is a great place to go! My husband and I really LOVE the ambiance of the place and the staff are amazing. Very friendly. The food was great as well! We loved everything that we ordered so much we had to order a couple things to go! It’s a great date spot, or family date & even a spot to hang with friends! Definitely recommend!!
came here on saturday night with friends and we greatly enjoyed the food and drinks :) the drunken noodles were a hit and so was. the pineapple fried rice!!! we got a few cocktails (Cha Yuzu, Tom Ka Za, and Lychee Lagoon)!! the Lychee Lagoon was our favorite. the staff are so friendly and accommodating, i would definitely come back again!!!!!
After the 9:00am service at Brooklyn Tabernacle (highly recommend!), I stopped by Ryan Thai — what a gem. Open before noon on Sundays, with peaceful jazz music and a calm atmosphere. Kail and Sandra were super kind, and the Pad Thai truly surprised me: the best I’ve had in NYC in a long time! A perfect place to reflect and enjoy a delicious meal. “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” – Psalm 34:8 God bless you all.
First time here. It was a great atmosphere. I went on a weekday and it wasn’t busy after work hours. I had drunken noodles, the lard wings, the cucumber drink and the Peking duck roti. The duck could’ve been more meaty. I really enjoyed the food and it was quick service. As I was finishing up, more people start coming in. I would love to try the other dishes one day.
Had a great time having lunch here😋 Very delicious, exquisite and distinctive Thai cuisine. For the appetizer I recommend the shrimp donuts, which are amazing with the sauce, the crispy crust and rich taste are perfect. Aromatic and fragrant pineapple fried rice, rice grains are distinct, every bite is filled with the sweetness of pineapple, the refreshing taste of vegetables and the aroma of nuts. Both visually appealing and delicious, this is not just food, but warm Thai style❤️
I came here with my husband due to reading previous reviews about the shrimp donuts. The reviews were right! They are BOMB! I had the ground chicken basil with fried egg over rice and it tasted so fresh and tasty and smelled amazing. We also had a strawberry guava drink and it was refreshing. The service was great, they were all so kind and attentive. The ambiance in the restaurant is vibrant and colorful and the way they display the meals, it almost makes you not want to eat it. We really had a wonderful and I’m looking forward to coming again!
As a heavy lover of Thai food, I came to BK‘s Rua Thai restaurant today to try it. From the appetizer to the final dessert, every bite is authentic Southeast Asian flavor. It is not only delicious, but the environment is also a very chill Southeast Asian style. I can eat and chat with friends, and I can sit from evening to late at night.
The dining experience at RUA was fantastic! The food was fresh and flavorful, with every dish perfectly prepared. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcome. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating a great atmosphere for a meal. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!
Such an innovative restaurant that takes inspiration from Thailand’s floating market cuisine! The food is not only stunning but also yummy. Really recommend their calamari if you like seafood - it was our favorite dish of the night. The larb wings were also great! The sauce that came with it was delicious and a great pairing. I also really enjoyed the mocktails they offered which were perfectly refreshing. Would come back to try their other dishes!
This Thai restaurant is amazing! The food is super flavorful and tastes very authentic. I ordered Pad Thai, Tom Yum , Tom kha soup, everything was delicious. The seafood was fresh and the portions were generous. The place was clean and cozy, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back again! ✨
We were craving Thai food and happened to come across Rua Thai on our trusty Yelp app. My husband ordered Massaman curry chicken lunch special with dumplings and I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and spring rolls lunch special. The food was delicious. The flavor was impeccable and was balanced right. The service was top notch and the ladies were nice. The atmosphere was very nice and comfy. We loved the decor with the cute lamps, flowers, and embroidered pillows. This is a nice place for a date.
this solo diner found peace in this oasis of beauty on Smith Street! The lunch special is quite generous and tasty; I got the Pad See Yu with chicken; the noodles and veggies were perfectly cooked. The crab rangoon had a nice crispy and cheesy flavor that worked well with the sweet chili sauce. I indulged in a Color Changing Lemonade-the butterfly pea flower gave it a blue color that then metamorphosed into a more pinkish purple hue with the addition of lemon juice. Service was exemplary. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Really great Thai spot in Brooklyn! The food was full of flavor and everything tasted super fresh. We tried the Mala Wings, Tom Yum Soup, Drunken Noodles, and the Teriyaki Steak — all amazing! The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was cozy but stylish. Perfect for a casual dinner or date night 🍜💛 Highly recommend if you’re around Smith Street!
RUA Thai is a cozy Thai restaurant in Brooklyn with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service is smooth. The Grab Curry (soft shell crab curry) is the highlight — rich flavor, real Thai spice, and very delicious with rice. The Thai Iced Tea is creamy and helps balance the heat. The cocktail Chili & The Moon is fun and unique. It’s made with mezcal and mango puree, and it comes with sweet crispy fish snacks on the side — surprisingly tasty. The Steak & Egg Teriyaki Fried Rice is also very good. The steak is tender and the egg on top makes the rice extra flavorful. For dessert, the Mango Coconut Sticky Rice is fresh and sweet, with strong coconut flavor. Overall, great food, real Thai taste, and a nice place to relax. Definitely worth trying!
During my recent visit to Rua Thai in Brooklyn, I was impressed by the perfect combination of a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The restaurant's interior, designed in Thai style, exudes warmth, making it a welcoming space suitable for both casual dining and special events. From the appetizer menu, we tried the Shrimp Donuts, which were wonderfully creamy, accompanied by a sauce that was truly delicious, along with the most exquisite Cheesy Crab Rangoon. For the main course, the Kai Tod Had Yai special was beautifully prepared, flaky, and seasoned to perfection. They even adjusted the spice level of the Rua Volcano to be milder just for us, and it was delightful. The team at Rua Thai demonstrated remarkable attentiveness. Our server offered valuable suggestions, quickly refilled our drinks, and made certain that our dining experience was pleasant. I highly recommend Rua Thai Restaurant.
If you’re getting tired of the usual Thai dishes, this spot near Dumbo is such a fun surprise. Definitely has that street-food vibe, basically heaven for anyone who loves fried goodies and carbs. 🍍 Royal Pineapple Fried Rice Came here mainly for this and it did not disappoint. The pineapple is sweet and fragrant, and the soft-shell crab and fried shrimp are super crispy. The cashews add a nice touch too, wish they were a bit crunchier, but overall the dish is addictive. 🍩 Shrimp Donut Dip it in the sweet & sour sauce and it’s perfect. 🦀 Crab Curry Crispy soft-shell crab with yellow curry is already a win, but mixing it with rice is when you realize there’s so much crab meat hidden at the bottom. Extremely satisfying. 🍗 Rua Volcano Thai version of sweet & sour chicken, comforting and so easy to enjoy. 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice The sticky rice is soft, sweet, and rich because the coconut milk is fully cooked into it. Only downside is that it’s not mango season, so the mango wasn’t the sweetest, but now I finally understand why this dessert is often “summer only” at many restaurants.
Amazing Thai spot in Brooklyn! The Tomyum grilled river prawns were flavorful and beautifully presented, and the teriyaki fried rice with steak and egg came sizzling hot and perfectly seasoned. Great Thai tea too — rich and creamy. Cozy vibe and super friendly staff. Definitely coming back! 🇹🇭✨
Came here for a fun night out and RUA Thai delivered great atmosphere and food. The vibe is lively and really does feel like a Bangkok street stall. We loved the Mama Tom Yum Grilled River Prawns—the instant noodle cup presentation was as tasty as it was fun, and the prawns were juicy. The Pineapple Fried Rice with Softshell Crab was also a standout, with the crispy crab adding a fantastic texture. The Appetizer Sampler is perfect for trying a bit of everything, and the Duck Crepe was a flavorful start. A solid choice for a casual, flavorful meal with friends!
Decor is super cute- traditional elements and lots of color and florals Staff is very friendly and attentive Food is delicious. Thai iced tea was great. Green curry with chicken very tasty. I had as is, so spice was a little more than medium. Spring rolls had nice crunch and the sauce had great flavor. The peanut dressing for the salad was light and tasty. Overall, great lunch experience. Would come again if I'm in the area.
Finally found the Thai spot we’ve been craving in BK! Rua Thai’s vibe is cozy and fun (floating market inspo is so cool), and the food is next-level fresh. Shrimp donuts were crispy perfection, Mama Tom Yum Grilled River Prawns had insane flavor and spice, and the drunken noodles were loaded and wok-tossed just right. Friendly service, great portions. We’ll be regulars now. 🌶️🍤 Highly recommend to anyone hunting for authentic Thai in Brooklyn!
Loved everything ordered here! The Pad Krapow Pork was super flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and the Thai Tea Pad Thai was such a fun twist — rich, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. The Leaf Pudding was light, fragrant, and a really unique way to end the meal. Cozy vibe and great Thai comfort food.
RUA Thai in Cobble Hill is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the food truly delivered. The Crab curry was the standout—perfectly crispy soft shell crab paired with a rich, fragrant curry that was full of depth without being overwhelming. The chicken drunken noodles were also excellent: savory, well-balanced, and packed with flavor, with tender chicken and just the right amount of heat. We started with the crab rangoons, which were light, crispy, and generously filled—honestly some of the best I’ve had. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the portions were very satisfying. RUA Thai is easily one of the best Thai spots in the area, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you’re in Cobble Hill and craving quality Thai food. 🍜🦀🌶️
Felt like stepping into Thailand 🇹🇭 the moment we walked in—beautiful Thai-inspired decor and a very relaxing vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive. We loved the chicken satay, Tom Yum Soup with Tofu (mild, warm, and comforting), and the Mama Tom Yum served right in the cup 🍜. The Duck Yaowarat was tender, flavorful, and perfect with rice. Overall, a chill and satisfying Thai dining experience.
Tried Rua Thai for the first time and had a great experience overall. One dish that really stood out was Pad Sa Tor (stink bean stir-fry). I had never tried stink beans before, and the server kindly explained what it was. It’s definitely a unique flavor — a little funky but surprisingly fragrant and very savory. The pork was stir-fried with shrimp paste, which added a lot of depth, and it paired extremely well with rice. Different from what I usually order, but I’m really glad I tried it. We also ordered the shrimp donut as an appetizer, which was crispy and delicious when dipped in the sweet chili sauce. The yaowarat duck was flavorful with crispy skin, and the pad see yu had great wok flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Overall, the food felt authentic, the service was friendly, and the menu had a lot of interesting options beyond the typical Thai dishes. Definitely a place I’d come back to if I’m craving Thai food with bold flavors.
We love the interior environment of this restaurant!! It’s so pretty and elegant. Our favorite dish is the Gra-Praw Over Rice. I recommend everyone to try it! The Tom Yum Soup is creamy and super flavorful! The mama instant noodle and crab curry are okay. Overall we had a great experience. The waitresses are all very nice!
We had a lovely dinner at RUA Thai which has a chic interior highlighting the floating markets in Thailand. There’s a variety of nonalcoholic drinks and cocktails which were garnished to perfection. Attention to detail is clearly a priority here! We ordered the appetizer sampler with my favorite being the fried chicken wings which were crispy, juicy and had a nice spicy kick. They have all the classic noodles and curry dishes but also a whole page of Chefs Specials if you are looking to change it up! The clay pot fried rice had a flavorful sausage which was delicious and the Mama Tom Yum Grilled River Prawns has a wow factor.
Had dinner at Rua Thai in Brooklyn, and it was a really enjoyable experience. The cozy vibe made it feel super inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The prawn noodles were absolutely delicious--so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The duck crepe was another standout, rich and packed with flavor. The larp fries were incredible. I loved the seasoning on it. The branzino was delicious. We love fried fish. The thai iced tea was super tasty as well. I do wish they had mango sticky rice, though--it would've been the perfect way to wrap up the meal. Service was fine, but it seemed like just one person was handling everything. Despite that, I'd definitely go back for the great food and ambiance!
I usually get delivery from RUA (and have always had a great experience) but recently started dining in the past few weeks. During both of our visits, my boyfriend and I were seated quickly but end waiting 15-20 mins just for someone to walk over and take our order. The first time we chalked it up to our server likely doing the job of numerous people and falling behind. We both worked in the service industry so we get it. The second time we visited, there were a lot more staff on the floor but we still waited a substantial amount of time before someone came to take our order. Nonetheless, staff is very friendly, the food always comes out quickly, is super tasty and drinks are made strong! The ambiance is quiet and peaceful - overall would recommended.
Rua Thai , is nestled between many restaurants on the busy Smith Street, it nice and clean and also family oriented. We had Pork Jerky, Crab Curry and Panang . The pork jerky was great pork was not too dry or tough, it was fried just right. The Panang curry and crab curry we asked for it to be spicy and boy was it spicy and very tasty. We had the Tom Kaza for drinks , now normally most Thai restaurants their cocktails are mediocre but this drink was really good. The only draw back with this restaurant is that everything we ordered all came at the same time, which should not be, but if that is the only draw back then it is really nothing. Lastly the ambiance and service was really great.
My friend and I decided to check out Rua Thai on a Thursday at 5:15pm. The interior has an instagrammable aesthetic, perfect for catching up with friends or for date night. We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time, but it was a stormy day, so that could have impacted the decisions of others. I got massaman curry with tofu ($17.95) and my friend got pad see yu with pork ($17.95). The branding on my friend's pad see yu was a nice touch! Though prices are comparable to other Brooklyn thai places, I do think the dishes are on the smaller side. Generally, the food was tasty, and I would recommend it if you are in the area. For me, I prefer a less liquid consistency to my curry and a stronger peanut flavor. I had no issues with spice for this, so it's a good choice if you are sensitive to spice. Service was very attentive! We had consistent water refills and check-backs. I would come back to try one of their special dishes, to see if those deliver more on flavor.
I came here incidentally because my usual Thai spot up the street was closed (Monday) . I came in around noon and there weren’t many people (2 other guests) but the reviews were good so I figured it’s worth a try. Not the best . I was led astray by reviews but perhaps what I ordered? I just ordered calamari and the appetizer sampler and Thai iced tea ($53.00) . Calamari wasn’t bad. A bit more “crunch” and breading with less calamari than I would have liked but still flavorful . In the sampler The satay was TERRIBLE. Didn’t taste fresh at all and was very hard to eat despite the fact that it wasn’t burnt or anything. Very tough and dry . I told the waiter and she literally just said “oh ok would you like a to go box” . Super weird. I said “no thanks I’ll just take the check”. I will not return. The crab Rangoon was actually very good so at least there was something positive so I gave 3 stars. Peanut sauce delicious and Thai iced tea ok
I was looking for a spot to grab lunch and walked by this place. Did a quick google search and the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. I ordered 2 lunch specials and paid about $30 total. It was around 2 pm on a Friday and there were just 2 people dining in. The decor is probably the best thing about this place. It makes you feel like you’ve stepped outta Brooklyn, right into Thailand. The dumplings were yummy but that’s about it. Food was basic and bland. The presentation was there at all (they could’ve done better even for take out). The crispy fried chicken that’s supposed to go with one of the rice looked like a damn joke. The girl behind the bar seemed annoyed that I asked for a menu like ma’am. Let’s be so forreal ! She also had an attitude with the couple who were drinking because their meal was incorrect. I would NOT recommend !!
This was my fourth visit, and this place used to be our go-to Thai spot in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, this time was a major letdown. I ordered the colossal crab fried rice, which had no crab at all — and the waiter’s response, “That’s how it usually is,” was dismissive and untrue. To make matters worse, the rice itself was hard and stale. Paying $35 for a basic, poorly made fried rice was unacceptable. After years of coming here, I won’t be returning.
