I almost never write reviews, but this was by far the best staff in any pizza place I’ve ever been to after a few decades living in NJ and NYC. The pizza is good (like most pizza in the area) but the two people working tonight were truly fantastic. Just a fantastic pleasant positive vibe.
Wow it is the best vegan pizza in NYC. All my friends love it too. There are always a few vegan options.
A great pizza experience. The pizza is consistent and has a good balance of cheese and sauce. The crust isn't too crusty or soft. I think it's a great slice overall. 🍕 The restaurant is in Williamsburg and the block/neighborhood has a good vibe too. They only have outside seating at this time but have 4 sets of tables and people are coming and going which makes seating easy. The staff is also friendly and fast. A good variety of pizza too! Highly recommend this place!
Absolutely LOVE this place! I love that this pizzeria has vegan, vegetarian and meat options so it’s great for literally everyone. Really great place to come grab a quick bite. They’re open late and always have some crazy new toppings. Always delicious. Cash only btw! (Pizza on pizza had me like 😧🤤😍)
I’ve been coming to Vinnies my entire life, I was basically born in this restaurant. And to say they care about the community is such an understatement. They put so much into everything they do and I have the honor of calling them my second family and being a part of the team these past few months. The food has never tasted better and more than worth the trip. They have options for everyone! Also ($7 are for the vegan speciality slices, they also have $2 for 6 pieces of garlic knots and-$4 vegan roni wheels with sauce. They have been named one of the best vegan pizza spots in NYC on Veggies abroad) Vinnies is a sanctuary in this city and People (including myself) would go to war to protect this place✨❤️
Shoutouts to Noah and the Friday crew love the pizza and the hospitality ! Great pizza great workers Noah def helped me pick out a great pizza ! Def will be back for more
I’m now a big fan of Vinnie’s Pizzeria! I finally made the trip out to Williamsburg, even though I lived in Brooklyn all of last year, and it was totally worth it! The staff here are great, they were talkative and friendly while our pizza was cooking. Also, the pizza was really great! My favorite was the Mac & Cheese pizza, but I also enjoyed the cheese, and the white pizza looked appetizing as well. I was here with my family and they thought this was some of the best pizza they’ve had while being in the city! The atmosphere was really cool, like an old school pizza parlor. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good pizza, and a quick slice too.
Good classic pizza that you can’t go wrong with. We tried the normal cheese slide and a couple of special slices and everything was great! The line does get busy depending when you go but it’s worth the wait since it’s one of the better spots in the area. Can’t wait to come back and try it out again!
This pizza got me laid. Not only is this pizza award winning… it made my week. I had one slice and then proceeded to buy an entire pie to take home. I went to the bar across the road and because I had a box of the pizza, the bar tender offered me two free shots. I then had a 10/10 woman approach me and ask how my night was going and where I got the pizza. I don’t know what they put in this pizza… but it is extraordinary and as it has somehow not only satisfied my NY pizza craving, but has also gotten me laid. This is the best pizza in NYC.
I didn’t take pictures of my pizza because I was too excited and jumped right in. This spot is awesome, and they are open late! The staff is very kind and they offer the classics and some fun options of pizza to choose from. I fell in love with their Elote pizza!! I’m still dreaming about it! I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Brooklyn.
So many vegan options! The owner is super friendly. We first taste tested different flavors then indulged on a large pie with our favorite choice. The hangings on the wall was so interesting, too! It's a cozy and fun place to hang out. We drove all the way from Yonkers to visit this place and it's the best date night we had for a while! Will come back again with our friends! 🥰
Brilliant wee pizza place. Well worth visiting when in Brooklyn. Staff very polite and helpful. We were visiting from Scotland and it lived up to what I thought a small American pizza joint would be like
Great place for pizza in NYC. I was really happy I walked by Vinnie's as I was keen to try some authentic NYC pizza - something that can be tricky as a vegan! However I was delighted to see the range of vegan flavours, and decided on the vegan cheese and vegan vodka pizza by the slice. Prices were reasonable and the vegan cheese was AMAZING! I definitely recommend this to anybody looking to get pizza in NYC, especially if you are vegan or dairy free.
This place is AWESOME!!! Delicious pizza and all kinds of styles. You really can't go wrong going here. As a pizza aficionado, I can tell you that NYC has all types of pizza tastes if you frequent the smaller local shops. Some tastes are more tomatoe while others is more cheese. This place is the perfect combo of sauce, cheese, bread, and spices (of course depending on what you want you may not have cheese on your pizza... But what's the point there of that 🤔). Give them a shot. See if this particular type of Brookyln pizza is for you.
Absolutely delicious pizza with classic and creative slices. Super friendly service and plenty of covered outdoor seating. Had the Grandma and Elote slices, both were so good! Loved the sweetness of the corn with the bite of the cotija cheese on the elote slice. Awesome crust as well!
Really good pizza, great vibes, fantastic music choices. I got the special Ratatouille pizza and it was delicious. I really appreciated all the vegan options!
For those looking for a gluten-free “by the slice” experience this is probably your best bet in Brooklyn. It’s not by the slice, but a full Gf pie is a reasonable price and we’ll worth the extra cost. The staff were knowledgeable and super chill, I’d highly recommend anyone stop by for a slice or a full pie.
This pizza's great. I'd say crust is a bit thick and not as flavorful as it could be, not much of a loss if you like to dip crust in ranch or don't eat crust altogether anyway. The pizza pizza part was delish, I think of the 2 slices I had (caprese red & ricotta garlic white), I liked the white pizza more but there's sooooo many good options, many veggie and vegan. Definitely worth a visit. I'd say, maybe go a little crazy and try their specials or wackier pizzas and get one of the more classic pies somewhere else.
I read about this place on Facebook and wanted to try their pizza on pizza(yes topping is pizza slices on pizza) so when i planned new york trip i make sure i go there. With high expectations i went there and ask for that pizza slice but she said its not available as this moment (i thought that cant happen , i cam all the way from Milwaukee) then she said it will take 20-30 mins which i gracefully accepted and waited and it was worth waiting .while waiting i tried garlic bread (not really good but what you expect in $1) However I loved pizza on pizza slice . It its worth visiting place . Friendly staff and one of best pizza slices in recent time ( i tried other slices as well which were good)
Best pizza I've had in Brooklyn. They have a variety of interesting flavors. Super good all around and the staff is great.
Excellent hole in the wall pizza place about 6-8 seats outsides on the street. It's $3 for a cheese slice, and I know there are $2 slices, but the extra dollar is definitely worth it with a beautiful chewy base. The special pizzas are $4/$5 and are amazing. My favourite was the Mac n Cheese pizza.
High quality slice of pizza. Excellent crunch with some volume and a crunch. Cheese quality let a little be be sought after. Orders were quick and they had hand sanitizer which is always appreciated during covid. Would return. Probably better than Joe’s on Bedford, maybe not better than West Village Joe’s tbh
Good stuff! I'm glad we ventured to Brooklyn to try this food tour darling. We had trouble with other famous eats due to massive crowds and long wait times but Vinnie's was super fast with no wait at all. They were busy but serving so fast that we didn't have to wait. I tried the regular old cheese as well as the famous pizza on pizza. The cheese is good but the pizza on pizza is great. The crust is crunchy and the sauce is perfect. Don't skip this one, they've earned their reputation.
Visiting Vinnie’s has been on my “to-do” list for a while now, glad I was finally able to make it. I saw the “pizza on pizza slice” on instagram and being the pizza lover that I am, I had to get of slice of that, also tried the “white” slice. These slices were pureeeee deliciousness. The white slice’s taste was amazing, definitely thought about it for the next two days lol! The pizza on pizza slice tasted good, the pizza level is cool aesthetic. The garlic knots were sooo yummy and garlicy, regretted not getting more after I finished lol. will be returning! They have outdoor seating (about 5/6 seats)
The vegan slices are excellent but the vegan garlic knots? Death. I haven’t been able to find a vegan garlic knot in ages and Vinnie’s knock it out of the park. Please never stop making them!
Very fun. Cute posters on the walls. Employees are very nice. Pizza is always hot and delicious. Not overly priced. My fave!
I made it a point to visit Vinnie's when they first went viral! I wanted to see the cool interior but also wanted to try their pizzas! They had such an interesting selection that I was not expecting! The combinations are something you won't see anywhere else! They had meat lovers to vegan to just regular slices. They also had garlic knots which were delicious! It's a cool place if you're looking for a different type of pizza and taste.
They have a wide range of flavors at Vinnies. This was my first time trying Elote Pizza. This was the true embodiment of an Elote, Mexican Corn, on a slice. It was creamy, cheesy, and the corn was good. They cook the slice to the perfect temperature and it was ready to eat straight out the oven. The service was good the lady at the counter helped me out. Overall it has an old school vibe to it and I love the TMNT bench in the front. (@jefeeatsss On Instagram)
I go here for the slices with the more obscure toppings - like Mac&Cheese or the two Mexican-inspired slices: one with black beans, avocado and cheese, and one with esquite (a popular Mexican street food made with corn, lime, spices and cheese). They also have a selection of vegan slices which are all delicious.
Little pizza shop with a great eats! A one-stop-shop for omnivores, vegans, and there's even gluten-free pies available. For my fellow vegans, definitely order the T.Hanks pie. There's a reason why it's the first choice on the vegan menu. It never disappoints! They're open until midnight on the weekends so they are a great option for a quick, late-night meal. Pictured: 1/2 T.Hanks, 1/2 Mac's Reprise
went to get the garlic knot pizza, but we're fools who didn't realize that, perhaps, if we were gonna travel from manhattan in the rain for it, perhaps others would, so they were out of the pizza! but that meant we had an excuse to have vinnie's normal pizza and garlic knots, which was equally scrumptious. that crust was crispy and tastes like a baguette! we'll come back for something else, probably.
Place is small, parking isn’t great (what’s new in NYC), but the vegan pizza is great. They even have vegan pepperoni rolls. They are delicious. It’s on a good block for walking and checking out the stores. Whole Foods only about 4-5 blocks away so that’s convenient.
Absolutely loved our visit to Vinnie’s Pizzeria! We tried the elote slice and the mozzarella sticks, and both were incredible. The elote slice was packed with flavor—loaded with sweet corn, creamy cheese, and just the right kick of spice. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly crispy on the outside, melty on the inside, and paired with their marinara sauce (which was seriously amazing) made them even better. The vibe inside is super retro and cool—definitely a fun place to hang out. Just a heads up, there are only three tables, so seating is limited, but honestly, the food is so good it’s worth grabbing it to-go if you have to. Can’t wait to come back!

platonic ideal of a slice shop. pizza is good and there's a flavor for every mood you could be in, service is fast, space is small and cozy, no complaints, really

Vinnie’s Pizzeria is a staple of day drinkers, post happy hour goers, and residents on Bedford Avenue. it’s a casual pizza place. there’s no interior seating, but there is an outdoor roofed shed with several seats. cash and credit accepted. the draw of Vinnie’s is some of its off-the-wall pizzas like the elote; max attack; etc. when it comes to ‘zza i am but a simple man and enjoy the simplicity of a classic NYC slice. Vinnie’s plain cheese slice is solidly good. melty cheese, a layer of distinctly tomato-ey sauce, and a crisp crust that leans towards thin but not cracker-y thin. for a $3 (+ tip) slice—that day was a good day bc of a simple but humble pizza slice. service is very friendly and hospitable. tips the dudes here!
This was the first time I actually was able to order something and it wasn't long long line.afyer I ordered, I maybe waited 10mins, not a bug deal at all. I enjoyed the slice. I wish the macaroni wasn't so dry. Otherwise it was okay. I want to go back and try the other slices. So im really excited about that and I can even bring some of my vegan friends along because they have some vegan options. Average slice is $5. I got the mac attack and a bottled water it was 6.25. That's pretty average.
Excellent old school nyc setting pizzeria. The pizza was very good. The crust was on point and a good amount of cheese. Something was a little bit off about the sauce, I could not pin point it. The buffalo chicken slice was good, especially with actual blue cheese. It could have used a little bit more chicken on it.
Classic NYC style slices, always fresh, love their plain and pepperoni. I also love their specialty slices like the Chicken Bacon Ranch. If you're vegan or gluten free, they have a ton of those options as well. Close to Bedford L train so it's an easy stop. Pictured is half pepperoni/half CBR.
The vibe of this place is great. The person at the front taking orders is fun and attentive. There was a line when we went in, but he got through everyone's orders quickly. The pizza was ok. I went with a vegan friend which made it worth it because we could both order something we liked. I ordered a regular cheese pizza while I waited for the mac and cheese with bacon bits slice to warm up. They will make you a fresh slice if you are willing to wait 15 minutes. 4 stars for service and convinience, -1 star for taste. It was alright, but not amazing. The experience was great and it had some definate photo moments.
Lots of vegan options which was great. Pizza slices were very big so definitely getting your money's worth. Very tasty too, almost taste like the real thing. My only negative thing were the garlic knots weren't seasoned enough for my liking. Was kind of just tiny pieces of bread, but had they added more seasoning too it they would be 5 starts. Definitely worth trying again.
A valid pizza spot open until 2 am! Came on a Saturday night at 1:20 am and the line was out the door. Workers are very friendly and pizza is quite delicious! Very light and crunchy crust (kind of like a cracker) and tasted slightly different vs other NYC pizzas I've had. Got the elote, pepperoni, and margarita. The elote slice was good for a few bites and then got too salty. The margarita was delicious and the tomatoes added a nice freshness.
Great slices. Vegan options too! 🍕 I love that they have vegan garlic knots too, no butter! Thanks 😊 I love that you can just walk to the window and order. I don’t know why but it feels easier than going inside lol. Inside is blocked off since covid but there is outside seating. Same priced as anywhere else and tasty. Great service, staff is always really cool and friendly. They prefer cash but take ApplePay/credit card.
A solid little pizza shop with a good variety of pizza slices. I think there’s a Texan slice with BBQ, which is good, a white pie, and a bunch of others including a Mac and cheese pie. I think the food is pretty good, but maybe not at the very top for Williamsburg. There are a bunch of the best places in the USA you’re competing with, and it’s good but maybe not the most memorable. Standing room only except for a couple tables out front. A solid place I may swing by for a slice after catching a few beers some time.
The pizza is really delicious and tastes very fresh. However, I hate to be that person, but I did notice a concern with sanitary practices. The young woman behind the counter (brown hair with bangs) handled the pizza by touching the crust and placing it in the oven, then proceeded to touch behind her ears, her hair, cash, and the counter without washing her hands. While I didn’t see what she touched beforehand, the lack of handwashing afterward raised concerns about food safety. I hope this can be addressed, as proper hygiene is important when handling food.
been seeing the silly tiktoks & i was hungry in the neighborhood so i decided to stop by. really good food, i'll definitely be back!! the employees were also super nice! there are only 3 tables so don't expect to be able to dine in. as a ranch connoisseur & midwesterner, i approve of this ranch. the crust becomes inedible after reheating, i wouldn't recommend buying extra for leftovers unless you wanna reheat it in the stove.
reasonable nyc slice. fresh dough just a tad undercooked but crispy, cheese is good, sauce is the weak point, and too much oregano to my taste. lots of other new fangled options that you might expect from Brooklyn. two tables.
Stopped by on a cold evening and I firstly have to mention the atmosphere was just perfect, everyone who we spoke to was so friendly and joyous, really a wonderful crew working there! We got the vodka sauce, eggplant parm and elote slice, it was great! I had never had a slice of pizza like the elote before, very unique! They have tons of vegan and vegetarian options too which makes it great to drop by with anyone!
Really great place to hit in Brooklyn for a slice. The front of the house staff were super friendly and nice and everybody in the small cramped. Pizzeria had a good vibe and we’re chuckling away with each other as the lovely slices were coming out one by one like a little soldiers. Will definitely return to the spot, although I wish they would Add a couple more minutes on the slice I got. Mine came back not as crispy as I like but we’ll make sure to ask them that next time.
Fun little pizza slice spot with a bunch of options, including some creative ones like mac and cheese pizza. The line can get pretty long during busy times, but it's worth the wait.
Decent meat slice. A little overpriced but perfectly serviceable slice. The crust was a little soft, no char.
Looking for good pizza, quick service, polite staff with no long wait times and unnecessary lines? Vinnie's pizzeria has been here for a long time and they haven't changed and that's a good thing…
Pizza is okay but I didn't feel it was outstanding or anything in the grand scheme of New York pizzas. Nothing to write home about the crust, which I thought was not well done enough since it wasn't crunchy. The pizza itself also wasn't heated up enough. The price was a little above average for the quality received. I did like the decor and the smallness of the place felt intimate. And it does have quite a few vegetarian options, it seemed like half of the choices were vegetarian. I thought it was interesting how they didn't display the plain cheese pizza, perhaps to nudge you to order the slices with topping.
When they have nutritional yeast in the pizza shop you KNOW its too gentrified… overall this is the type of place I would generally avoid due to all the hipsters, I was rushing to work and did not have much choice on Bedford Ave so figured I would try it… cannot hurt right?! Around $7 a slice and yes I did put nutritional yeast. It was decent. All staff is hipster and atmosphere very hipster.

Decent pizza and friendly service. However they took out all the outdoor seating with very few seats available inside. Also, $6 for 1 slice of pizza that you have to eat while standing up is absurd…

Got two slices of cheese pizza and these are the most bland gentrified pizza I’ve ever eaten in Brooklyn and overpriced at that. $5 a slice…. Not worth the hype.
Service was relatively friendly. But the pizza was disappointing, despite the good reviews. The crust tastes like regular toast and the toppings were not generous. Not worth $5/ slice. Better off going to Anna Maria down the street (same price) if you are not hunting for vegan options.
$7 for a small and thin margerita slice that I wasn't told was $7 until after the pizza was heated lol the sign that says how much it costs was on the floor.

This pizza is subpar at best. The dough was dense and lacked the flavor, the sauce made no impact to the pizza, again no seasoning, finally the cheese was unappetizing . Overall this is a sad NY slice. I would avoid this pizza place. Sad, I had high hopes for it.
I came to New York City for a little mini vacation and was bound and determined to have good pizza while I was here this was not it. I'm from Florida and so our pizza is just okay so I figured the pizza is supposed to be legendary in New York I have submitted a photo and what you are looking at is the cheese removed to show that there was not one lick of sauce on this pizza look at the picture and tell me where the sauce is. ZERO!! I called the Pizzeria and actually spoke to the kid that made it who claims that he puts 4 oz of sauce on every Pizza I can guarantee you that there wasn't even a half an ounce of sauce on this pizza. I should have asked for a refund but it was late. It was undercooked because I asked for it to be well done and it was just a big cheese pie. Sorry Vinnie but this pizza was an absolute embarrassment to New York City.
Avoid gluten free pie! 30min to prepare with no warning. Overpriced. Tiny. Pretty sure its a frozen pizza. Terrible. Go to a grocery store and you’ll do better.
Girl behind the counter tells me $4 dollars for a plain cheese. I go to pay it's now $4.90. No thanks. A pepperoni slice from Joe's is cheaper then a cheese slice from vinnies. Also provide accurate pricing. If pricing is different with cards, specify. THANK YOU
Got big attitude from the young guy behind the counter here. I asked him in a friendly way if any of the slices were fresh and he said yes, but were made a few hours ago. I then asked if any were recently out of the oven and he said “no that’s not how slice shops work”. I said i’ve been in slice places where they baked throughout the day and he said “I’ve been working in slice shops for 10 years and I know how this works, not you”. So I told him that I wasn’t trying to tell him how to do his job. and he said “Yea - don’t”. Suffice to say, I didn’t buy anything. Another friendly Williamsburg establishment lol. So sad what this neighborhood has become.
Not sure what happened to this place. I used to go all the time, but hadn’t been in a few years since I moved out of the area. After a show at Brooklyn Bowl last night, I was excited to stop by again—but the experience was really disappointing. The staff was incredibly rude to everyone, the line was total chaos, and the slice selection was extremely limited. One poor guy in front of me had been trying to pay for about 10 minutes, and they ended up throwing him out for “being a wise guy.” A bunch of people just gave up and left without their pizza, or grabbed whatever random slices were being thrown on the counter as the staff argued among themselves. Sadly, the pizza itself wasn’t any better—bland and forgettable. Honestly, it tasted more like something you'd expect to find in Ohio than in Williamsburg. Don't eat here!
For a place that charges over 5$ for a pepperoni slice you’d think the size was somewhat decent. Wrong. Tiny slice and don’t taste like anything. Garlic knots were ALSO tasteless. Just had giant chunks of garlic on them and that’s it. The red sauce tasted like water. Will not be back
