The food is delicious. I always get the jerk salmon with garlic sauce. Even the rice and peas is delicious. I also love the macaroni and cheese. I'd say it's on the pricier side, but given the quality and reliability of the food, the pricing is fair. For now LOL

The chef is passionate about food. You can see it, feel it, and taste it. Creative name combining the Xhosa language and Jamaican slang. If you love to eat you’ll love what you’re eating as the name suggests. Fun, super friendly, and the vibe is right. Outdoor and indoor dining so if the weather permits - boom. Craving some jerk chicken, we tried our luck with a Google search and landed here—and omg, we hit the jackpot! We were greeted by the owner of the shop, Brods, who illuminated great vibes and kindness. While we were discussing the menu, the intense aroma of jerk chicken cooking outside on these massive drums was intoxicating! Brods could sense how hungry I was, so he gave me a sample of the chicken, hot off the grill, and wow! The chicken was juicy, the skin was crispy, perfectly charred, and packed with homemade jerk seasoning down to the bone! So don’t walk, run here before this place goes viral!

I have been to 3 other jerk chicken spots so far here in brooklyn since I moved here... 1st chicken was bland and rice hard for 25.00 2nd chicken was dry and pasta was mush for 22.50 3rd... But this one has been the best yet. I ordered Jerk chicken with rice and peas, it came with some cabbage and plantains.. The chicken was cooked decent, a nice char with a well seasoned jerk sauce. You did get the hints of the different flavor profiles in the seasoning, not overdone and not underused. As a fan of spicy food (not complaining) it didn't have the heat, l that I'm use to with other jerk sauces and rubs, I have ordered from Negril and Montego Bay... But with that being said it didn't make me dislike the meal at all. The portion was way more than I was expecting for the price of 15.00.. that's a steal in today's economy... Service was quick and friendly, building was nothing but good vibes... I will def be a returning customer.. 9 min away is dangerous to my wallet lol. Thank you all for the food and your time preparing it.

Decided to follow Google reviews with high expectation but was promised cabbage and plantain with my order all I received was rice n chicken with some mix greens. Had two jerk chicken delivered. Instead of jerk chicken, would have been more aptly named carbon chicken due to the chicken being overly cooked and burnt. Rasta pasta and Mac n cheese were good however. But the biggest peeve I had was I found tiny scraps of aluminum foil in the food that I was chewing on and spit out… ruined the meal for me.
