I so much like this place, their rolls are trully the best! Affordable prices, high quality food, friendly staff. Also, I always got home delivery fairly quickly, never once did the food turn out to be bad and was always very well packaged.

This is my go to place and it never disappoints me! It is always a pleasure to eat here.

Expensive, but delicious. I got the butterfly roll the first time i ordered. The second time i got the 3 special roll combo for $28. It's a great deal, and all the rolls were delicious. I will say it's not close to the best sushi I've had, but it's very good.

This is not an accurate review. I would give this place 8/5 stars if I could but I'm limited to 5/5 stars. The service, the standards, the food, the environment, the staff, the ambiance, the attention to customers, and the food again are all reasons this place is so good. The food reminded me of home and every bit was so wholesome and warm. Bonus points on presentation, all the food looked great and tasted even better than it looked. The staff are super friendly and quite attentive. Wait times are reasonable beyond belief as compared to the quality of the entire restaurant. Overall an amazing experience that I have and will again repeat till the end of time.

My wife and I got hungry and had a craving for sushi. We looked up places in the area and happened upon this spot. A lot of small bites definitely went a looooong way. Our server was friendly and funny (patient as well). The menu had a wide variety of items to try. My advice: experiment and go outside the comfort zone. Recommend the eel (unagi) sushi, the tako sushi (octopus), the garlic shrimp, lamb chops, and the volcano rolls. For dessert, please try the Purple Yam cheesecake (my new favorite cake) and the red bean sorbet. They also have some great Wasabi.

I lived in Japan for 7 years and would walk to the Tsukiji fish market once a week to get some great sushi. Nagoya has some great sushi. The imported specials are pricey, but amazing. This is one of the very rare places that has fresh wasabi, but it only comes with the specials. Nagoya is one of the very few places that serves Chutoro and Otoro. Very few people even know what those are.

Hands down the best sushi spot on Kings Highway! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and quick to seat us. They were attentive throughout the entire meal and made us feel right at home. We started with hot sake, which was perfectly prepared and really hit the spot. For appetizers, we tried the salmon and tuna pizza topped with caviar — easily one of the best raw fish dishes I’ve ever had. Absolutely recommend it. Next, we ordered a mix of specialty rolls and classic rolls, all of which were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. To finish, we treated ourselves to dessert: the fried cheesecake (so delicious — highly recommend) and the assorted mochi plate, which was just as tasty. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating, always checking in on us without being overbearing. I ordered for delivery and everything tasted to perfection! It came pretty quick which I was happy about. I ordered the salmon lover which was Salmon roll, salmon sushi, and sashimi. Actually the best salmon sashimi I ever had. I also love the green that they added on top ( i’m not sure what it’s called) but it added a great flavor. I also ordered a special roll which I’m also not sure what it’s called and it was so good. My family had previously ordered from here as well and we ordered a huge variety of food and it was all excellent.

The place is clean, the food is fantastic, reasonably priced, and the staff are great. They value their customers and try their best to satisfy. No matter the event, a simple lunch, or an extravagant outing, they will accommodate (unless they're packed). Cindy is one of the best waitress, and Andreas is very nice himself (though Cindy is exceptional). I took me years to write this review, and I can't justify a lower rating. While they mess up in occasion due to the huge amount of customers they are still great.

Great food, great service on a rainy day. Waiter is very conversational in English so don’t be hesitant to ask if you need anything. I ordered the Beef Udon with soup, it is definitely on the lighter side, udon won’t carry as much flavor but it is all natural and very healthy. They brought it out in a hot steel bowl and seems the broth was made through the simmering of all the ingredients. The udon noodles were al-Dente, no complaints there. The beef was medium rare but cooked during the carryover and so if you’re not a medium rare guy or gal then no worries. It was decently tender and nicely charred as well. Even after finishing, the heat regulation still maintained keeping the soup nice and hot still if you want to finish it. Now, onto the crème brûlée. I’ve honestly never had good crème brûlée and most of the time they’re the normal ones. However, they had the matcha crème brûlée, completely different and not what I expected. The flavor was a little sweet and you can taste the matcha and egg on every bite, that sweet caramelized glaze that provides a crunchy texture elevates the flavors even more as it breaks and melts coating the rest of your mouth. They also have great sushi options too, and for a fusion restaurant their variety is big but quality control is amazing! I’ll come back if I ever get the chance.

Nagoya is one of the remaining truly iconic Sushi/Asian fusion Brooklyn's restaurants. It's been around for many years and still going strong. They offer not only vast variety of delicious freshly made nigiri & maki sushi, sashimi, but also spectacular salads, scrumptious appetizers and lots of dishes ranging from traditional Japanese cuisine to Thai. On a weekday they offer amazing Lunch Specials from both sushi & hot dishes sections of the menu, which is very convenient, affordable and includes choice of either a Miso soup or vegetable salad plus either 2, 3 rolls or a hot dish. They also have few exclusive items like my favorite Nagoya sandwich-amazing combination of smoked salmon (lox), spicy salmon, kani, avocado, crunchy, tobiko (flying fish caviar) and Nagoya Pizza both of which are spectacular and I would definitely recommend to try it, especially the Sandwich. Service is always great, staff is very welcoming, courteous and friendly. Interior is typical for a medium sized Japanese restaurant, with a nice ambiance and chill vibe, very clean and pleasant. Definitely recommend this place even if you're not a big fan of sushi, it's guaranteed that you'll find something else to enjoy! Also don't forget to order a cocktail and dessert, I personally love their Creme Brûlée and Mango or Chocolate gelato flutes-unbelievably yummy! 10 out of 10

I just love this place. Fits all budgets and tastes. I really have not a single bad thing to say about it. The service is awesome. The manager is such a lovely lady. The bathrooms are pristine. That's how u know how clean it is. Gr8 place in the heart of Midwood where you do not have many nice places a walk away on a Saturday night. Food is always fresh and u have many options for kids. I did an event for my son and they accomodated me so well. What an amazing staff! UPDATE: I would like to add that they are very aware of ppl with gluten sensitivities and cross contamination. I’ve ordered delivery from there for the first time a few days ago and then again the next day because I liked the food. It’s too soon to tell how consistently good they are, but so far so good. Special rolls are tasty, even though on the smallish side. Sushi pieces were good and fresh. I’m considering checking out the actual restaurant for dinner one of these days.

Excellent, but when you're blowing 100 bucks they shouldn't charge you a dollar for spicy mayo… That being said the prices are very reasonable and the sushi was quite fresh especially considering it was a Sunday night ;-)

Got the Kani salad, california roll, and spicy salmon roll, which were all very tasty. Got their hard rock special roll but the fried shrimp pieces were inconsistent. Some pieces were hard and dry, while others were good. It was also wrapped in a thin crepe-like piece that wasn’t to my liking. Also gave me a stomach ache the night of but the overall experience while dining in was good. The servers were very attentive and it was a very clean space. Priced decently. Would come here again but will stick to the basic rolls.

The food was amazing but the service was not so good. They didn’t take our plates even though we finished eating twenty minutes ago and in all other restaurants I’ve been to, they refill glasses with water or tea, they seem like never do that here… Maybe they were busy at the moment but I honestly expected more. However, I wanted to say that the sushi was absolutely delicious! I ordered salmon, Boston, and a dragon roll. I also ordered green tea ice cream with hot green tea which was really good. I will come here again and will change to five stars if service improves 🙌

The restaurant is located in the Homecrest section of Brooklyn. They prepare Japanese cuisine. I ordered the sushi/sashimi bento box and salmon teriyaki bento box. Both included side salads, miso soup, California roll and shrimp/vegetable tempura. The food was very good and well-prepared. I also added a side order of noodles which were good. The noodles were thin. Friendly and helpful staff.

The food was good; however, the service was slow. I noticed they neglected tables like mine to chat with regulars. So for that reason and a nasty hot sake, I had to take off one star. I've often ordered to go as it's close to where I live, but this was my first time sitting in. Towards the end, they were so distracted chatting up with regulars I had to walk up to the desk to pay out my bill as I had a full meal there and takeout.

They ok, but VERY expensive. More for girls who like fancy. Expect to spend around $90 for two. At least.

Only tried take out sushi. The quality does not meet the expectations at this price point. The quality of the fish, vegetable, and rice was mid tier at best, no flavor, not meeting expectations for freshness. I cannot speak for dining experience, and personally will not try it.

Today February 17, 2023 I stopped in for lunch as I usually do on Saturday. I went to use the restroom and someone was using the mens room before me. I waited and one of the chief walked out. I entered the rest room and noticed the sink was dry. He never washed his hands. I spoke to one of the employees and my sense was they found my complaint to be funny. I left and will never return So to the staff wash your hands

I always loved coming to this place, food was amazing and fairly priced, the waiters and waitresses were courteous and attentive. Since the renovation I will never come back. I was told my $5 tip was too low, when I believe I gave a fair tip for poor service. Food took forever to get and there has a piece of wood in my sushi. If you don't order the minute you walk in no one takes you as a serious customer. My waitress disappeared and I had to look for someone to clean up the plates for me and my friends. I had to come up to the register for my check. I never received a part of my order, water was never refilled and no one asked if I wanted anything else. When one of the waitresses NOT the one that serviced me and my friends had the nerve to come to me and say I needed to give a bigger tip in front of other customers that was the end of it, I explained to her my justification for the tip that was left. Never again coming here.

Even though the prices are pretty decent, I have been there about 4 times. 3 out of 4 times were great, but.... I'm not a fan of complaining, but went there yesterday with my friends and I was so disappointed. First of all, we have been waiting for sushi rolls for more than 45 minutes, not to mention that the attitude by our waiter was just awful. inappropriate jokes and he did not even want to listen properly what were asking for. But the worst thing - me and my friends felt so nauseous afterwards, I guess the fish was not fresh, but this shouldn't be happening.

Ordered a pick up for 6 rolls that cost $46, they were ridiculously small and were falling apart. When I called to complain the girl answering said ok, thanks for letting me know. she declined sending acceptable ones instead and suggested I should order more rolls if these are small. When I buy sushi I usually get the same number of rolls, these barely scratched the surface. These rolls are made with mostly rice, how hard can it be to make them thicker?!?! I would definitely advise anyone to avoid this place.

What a cheap place. Every month I keep buying sushi from this store and those guys every time gave me a small amount of soy sauce diluted with water. Stop it give us more soy sauce without water. What a shame.

I used to order from this place regularly and everything was fine, but today I found a paperclip in one of the rolls. I nearly choked on it and could have sustained internal injuries. Half an hour after eating, I started feeling unwell. I hope I won’t need to see a doctor. I do not recommend this place if you don’t want to risk breaking a tooth or getting food poisoning.

Do NOT order from them😡. Allergic to Mayo. They put Mayo on my roll. Told them specific instructions. They only gave me 5 pieces when sushi rolls come in 6. It also looked like it was thrown in the container not placed. It looks disgusting. When I called and told them to redeliver my correct order she tells me sorry it’s busy!. So you being busy means you get the order wrong, you throw the food in the container??? What kind of business is that. What is the point of making an order if your not going to follow instructions. I’ve ordered sushi here multiple times, and each time I request spicy mayo, I get charged an extra $1. Unfortunately, I've never actually received it in my order. This has happened at least 10 times now. It's frustrating to pay for something that I never get. I hope they can improve their service and ensure that customers receive what they pay for.

The appetizer had a HUGE piece of CLEAR PLASTIC stuck to it, about an inch in diameter and several inches in length if unwrapped - it was crinkled up, flattened, and covered in sauce. I initially thought it was rice paper and only realized what it was after I took a bite and felt the weird texture. This could present a serious health risk if accidentally consumed!!! Poor quality control in the kitchen!! Be careful when you order. Extremely disappointed!!

I loved Nagoya sushi. But what’s wrong with their delivery person? He forces people to give him tips. He doesn’t give you your order until you tip him. I understand that we all trying to make money, but aggressively demanding tips is not okay. Always been to this place until one day (today) one of the workers came up with the check saying it's not enough. The price was $45 and like 12 cents, I gave her $50 bill. The waiter came up, pointing her finger at the "Suggesting tips " that said $7.50 . She continued to demand AT LEAST 3 more dollars. And I thought Suggesting tips are not the same thing as included ones. If I didn't like the service they provided why would I pay higher than the amount I ate? Never going there again.

I don’t think you could find a worse waiter than the one who served my table. Unfriendly and indifferent, it felt as if I had come to her home and was bothering her with my presence. Every attempt I made to place an order was met with eye-rolling and constant yawning. The atmosphere was extremely unpleasant. I definitely do not recommend this place!
