I ordered a drink called The Modern Prometheus—an iced latte with amaretto, lightly sweetened. Absolutely delicious. The woman who made it was so kind and welcoming, which perfectly matched the warm, off-the-beaten-path vibe of the place. It’s a bit of a trek from where I live, but worth it. Their menu is far more inventive than most coffee shops that tend to play it safe. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their unique creations.

A low-key, aesthetically-pleasing coffee shop with friendly staff and great tasting coffee. Their hot latte in the skull is amazing (go-to is a regular latte or the amaretto latte) and their cold brew is delicious especially since their blend has chicory in it (my favorite). Definitely one of my new favorite shops I'll travel for!

Really cool and unique decor, and lattes served in a skull mug made my day. Tried one of the specialty lattes with amaretto and it was really nice and sweet. The batch brew was very fruity and not bitter or burnt at all.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. The barista behind the counter and the two people he was chatting it up with (looked like employees but not sure) all stared at us when we walked in without a single “hello,” nor even a non-verbal acknowledgement. Even as we walked up and reached the counter… no feedback! We stood there waiting to be seen for a couple of minutes until it was just too awkward to continue, and so we walked out. I felt like a ghost. Which I guess is befitting considering there are literal pictures of demons and other demonic NSFW imagery plastered on the walls. The whole place was satan themed. Beyond creepy! Allah protect us all.

We stopped by to buy some coffee and sit and eat the cinnamon rolls we picked up at a nearby bakery. We were told we could sit outside and drink the coffee but could not eat the food we brought, saying it would be “disrespectful.” It wasn’t crowded, there were three or four open tables outside. I understand not wanting non-customers to freeload off your space, but making a fuss about people who want to give you money and would be sitting at a table regardless is an overreach and a bad vibe.
