We enjoy going out. Yesterday we came to this magnificent place which we didn’t know before. We had a beautiful time there with first-rate food and a well-trained team and a professional chef. We put this venue in our phone list and we shall no doubt come back very soon. We warmly recommend.

This place has the best bagels in NYC I have tried all the “best bagel spots” and they are nothing compared to this place , A bagel should not be the size of half loaf of bread in most cases I find bagels in nyc to be a gimmick. This place uses an old Jewish recipe and the bagels are small but filling and theirs home made cream cheese is insanely good. When you bite into their bagels the outside has this crunch and then softness off the dough, which has amazing flavors you can taste the ingredients of the flower. I begged these guys to open up more locations but they won’t. It’s deep in Brooklyn I live in midtown now, but I think I’ll make a trip out there soon again, I use to eat there everyday.

Good bagels. Didn't have vegan cream cheese, but few seem to. A kid came in for some bagels and the worker said to put on a mask first thing. Nice to see health conscious. Open eating in back, but I didn't check it out. Also, it's kosher for those who observe.

It is one of the great tragedies of my life that Original Brooklyn Bagel is not easily accessible to me, though I've still managed to go there a couple of times in the last few months. These are bagels that remind you how good a bagel can be. They are smaller, denser, and chewier than most you'll see--soft in all the ways you want a bagel to be soft and firm in all the ways you want it to be firm. The toppings are nicely distributed. The vegetable cream cheese has finally chopped veggies (one of my personal pet peeves is having giant veggies in my cream cheese--I'd like to have multiple kinds of vegetables in each bite!). My husband really loved their whitefish salad. I've also tried some of the pastries and bread--everything was delicious. Now this is a Jewish bagel place; for those of you who are unfamiliar with what that means, it means it's kosher, which means there is no meat (only fish) because it's dairy. This doesn't detracted from their absolutely fabulous food, but does mean you might want to find a different bagel place if you have a craving for a classic breakfast combo of bacon, eggs, and cheese. But frankly, you can get that almost anywhere, where bagels this good are hard to come by!

This bagel store has incredible bagels. They also serve fish like white fish, lox, tuna etc. They'll make eggs on a bagel and lots of sandwiches on bagels. The store is very clean. I highly recommend this bagel store.

Ordered this bagel for delivery and WOW. A standout even for New York standards! The Belly Lox tasted straight from a fresh sushi bar, the onions and tomatoes were juicy and fresh. I felt like I haven’t had legitimately fresh vegetables from a bagel place since I don’t know when. The bagel was good, overly seasoned which made it very salty but I couldn’t complain at that point. The prices were reasonable, the flavor profile was ridiculous.

I submit 4 stars. The bagels are great, better than their proximate competitors ,as is the service - this is to be expected, for they serve breakfast nourishment. Being a 'fast food' designed establishment shouldn't have too much issue with the simplicity of the food they produce. I must comment though, and again expected, as they do cater to the individual's stomach in the morning, that long lines might occur, but the celerity of the service picks up the perceived wait time. The baked goods are ok, but the service is very slow. I was waiting for 8 minutes just to get plain bagels and there were only 4 customers in front of me. They have a variety of fresh baked bagels, muffins and croissants. Lox with cream cheese on a bagel is their specialty.

I have been coming here for about 5 years now, and over the years the store has changed owners and changed generally multiple times. As of recent the general ambience, food, and cleanliness is not where it was. The staff are always friendly.

It's a really great place, but the prices just keep getting worse and worse. They actually close at 4:30 on Sundays, and they turn off the grill machine at 2. They run out of plain bagels closer to the end of the day.

This place has some of the best bagels in the area!! The staff is super friendly and quick. The food quality and freshness is utterly outstanding! The coffee is also some of the best I have had outside of Starbucks and Dunkin’ Just a warning the hash browns are not real hash very disappointing. However for giant tater tots they were good.

Very Expensive $11.25 for a bagel with cream cheese and tomato and a large Ice coffee that had no taste. Very little cream cheese even after I ask to put more cream cheese on. Definitely will not go back to this place. Also they don’t display the bagels they are in the back where you can’t see them and burnt seeds on the everything bagel.

Food is good but don't believe the signs or the advertising!! We came for the advertised Super Salad Special and the manager refused to give us the entire combo. He claimed it was a "typo " but it was on the menu AND on a huge sign outside. Should be we receive our order until the sign is changed

The bagels are not freshly made, they’re stale. The prices are ridiculous and out of control. The choices are limited for a bagel shop. And usually you see the bagel options for a bagel shop that makes their own bagels, here they’re hidden in the back where you can’t see the options.

There works a girl in OBB who wears a hat that is way to big for her & her hair hangs down into the food. How anybody doesn't lose their appetite from this disgusting procedure - letting her hair hang down in the food - is beyond comprehension! This girl does not understand laws of kasher/kosher!!! Passing on this one will hopefully change their wilful ignorance of kasher/kosher laws. There's plenty of kosher bakeries & stores that practice good kosher/kasher laws that you don't have to be subject to this abhorrent behavior! Very surprised board of health didn't close them down or at least summons them yet!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Came here once and I won’t come back. The wait was long and the line was confusing. Seems like these guys are all over the place. The guy gave me the wrong order which would’ve doubled the amount I’d have to spend. But I told him I didn’t want the extra thing that I didn’t request. He charged me double the price I was expecting for the one Bagel. Waste of time. It’s sad because the bagels are probably really good though. I hope the owner sees this and lets his employee know.

Ordered via UberEats. I ordered a scallion cream cheese bagel with tomato and instead got some kind of fried fish with a ton of mayo. I did not get the hash brown add-on at all that was an additional $4.99. The only thing they got right was a 1/2 LB of macaroni salad. The sandwich went to the garbage but not before I snapped a pic and sent to UberEats. I would add the pic here but I snapped through the UE app and threw the sandwich out. Really sad that a store cares so little for it's delivery customers that they don't even check the orders that are going out.

I’ve never written a bad review, but I will this time. This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. There is no rhyme or reason to the order in which they help people, and people walk up in front of you all the time to be rang up even though you yourself haven’t ordered yet, and the staff just goes with it. No reason why I should wait on a line for a stupid bagel for 15 minutes. Ok I’m done. I’ll go to the other bagel store on Nostrand moving forward even if it’s a little farther of a walk for me.
