Was so happy to visit this brand new spot in Bed-Stuy! Loved how the owners transformed the space with a beautiful bar, exposed brick, and nice seating options. The cocktails were so good! I also really enjoyed the curated wine list and the white wine from Oregon. The cheese came from a local farm in upstate and it was incredible. We also enjoyed the oyster dip. Very much looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend giving this brand new business a try!
I was looking for a new happy hour spot in the neighborhood to catch up with friends, and this place stood out as a cozy restaurant with a great happy hour menu. They were super accommodating when we added an extra person to our reservation, which was much appreciated. One important note: happy hour is only available at the bar (not at the tables), so plan accordingly. That said, we still had a fantastic night! We ended up ordering a bottle of wine because the prices were reasonable and the wine list is excellent. The oysters are a must-try—the sauces are unique and pair perfectly. Overall, this is a great neighborhood spot for happy hour, wine, and oysters. I’ll definitely be coming back!
LOVED my first visit to Selune's! The $1 oyster happy hour is such a deal. The oysters + the lemongrass sauce are delicious—a unique twist to a classic. I also very much enjoyed the espresso martini. Staff was friendly. Venue was lovely. Can't wait to go back!
Selune is the perfect wine bar with amazing cocktails! The Bedstuy Spritz was absolutely delicious. The food and beverages are hand crafted with the best ingredients. Our server made the experience unforgettable. So excited this opened in the neighborhood! 10/10!
This spot is a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood. Cozy and inviting, they've thoughtfully preserved the stunning original interior details. The wine list is impressive—extensive, delightful, and incredibly well-priced, with several bottles under $40. You absolutely have to try the Bed-Stuy Spritz, the oyster dip, and the Cowhill cheese.
Great wine bar with unique selections and a killer charcuterie board! Servers were exceptional, attentive, and kind.

Had a great time eating 96 oysties here with my bud! My one note is that the crab salad would only be worth the $26 if they put wayyy more crab on it! (0:
BEAUTIFUL spot with amazing food and perfectly chosen drinks. The Croque Monsiur is a MUST. New go to in the neighborhood.
We had a fabulous evening here back in September. Dollar oysters during happy hour, delicious wine and food and such lovely bar staff. Will come back!
I hosted my birthday party at Selune, and it was the perfect venue choice. The food and drinks were amazing, and the service was out of this world. The service team went above and beyond to make the night super fun and special- even going as far as to make a custom mocktail to accommodate guests who don't drink, handling all the clean up and drink orders etc, and made sure everyone had an amazing time. I cannot recommend Selune highly enough!
Hosted a birthday at this bar and was blown away by the service, ambience, and catering they provided. It was an absolute blast and I wouldn't think twice about booking this place again for anything else. Highly recommend. Also a great date spot!
This spot has become a go to for me the last few months. It has a great selection of food and drinks, the staff is friendly and welcoming and it's overall good vibes. I decided to have my birthday here this month, and they couldn't have been more accommodating...they sectioned out a space of the restaurant/bar for me and my friends, the service was great and they let us run the playlist. It was literally everything I could have wanted and my friends and I had an amazing time! I would def recommend checking out this place for drinks/food or having your event here.
This wine bar is an all time favorite of mine! The happy hour is Monday-Friday with dollar oysters, well priced drinks, and actually at a decent time, 5PM-7PM. Not to mention, the staff are the coolest people and the natural wine can’t be beat. Seriously recommend this place if you want to have a great glass of wine or cocktail and food. This place has a great community feel which makes me keep coming back.
Really cute wine bar with comfortable bar and table seating. Cocktails and wine on happy hour with dollar happy hour oysters. Lots of great charcuterie options! We had oysters, an espresso martini, and happy hour white wine. It was cozy and comfortable. Really liked visiting here
I hosted my friend’s baby shower and right from the start, the owner, Marc, was very accommodating and helpful. We were able to have a private party at an amazing price. The food was fresh and, not to mention, delicious. If you’re planning a party, I highly recommend Selune!!
Really great neighborhood spot. Selune has a broad but well curated wine list with options across all price points. The staff is lovely and always willing to guide you through the options to find exactly what you want. The ambiance is cozy and intimate. Selune is definitely a great spot for a date night.

Food and drinks were good. Had a couple glasses of wine and ordered the smoked oyster dip and 1/2 dozen raw oysters. Bartender clarified twice my 1/2 dozen order but they still served me a full dozen and therefore charged me for the full dozen as well. I was only one of two people in the restaurant at the time so unfortunately this shouldn't have happened. Nice spot for a date night or quiet evening in.

So happy to have an oyster bar in the neighborhood with a great weekday happy hour! I’d definitely recommend getting there early if you want a spot-it’s first come, first served at the bar. The oysters were fresh and delicious, though a few still had some algae on the shell. The truffle sandwich was a standout, really flavorful and satisfying. The crab salad, on the other hand, didn’t quite justify the $26 price tag, very light on the crab for the cost. My cocktail leaned a bit sweet for my taste, but it was still refreshing. Overall, I’d absolutely come back for happy hour. I know it’s a wine bar, but I do wish the menu had a bit more variety. The atmosphere is very lively and a bit loud at times.

I had a wonderful time. The staff was incredible and the drinks were brilliant; wine and cocktails. my only gripe with this spot is- the oysters are shucked HORRIBLY. There was so much left underneath the oysters that we were spitting things out with every bite. I also think the taste profile of different dishes can be improved; more salt, more acid (specifically the carpaccio). but I love the vibe of the place and I love love love the staff, so I'll be back- maybe just for drinks.
I always love a new neighbourhood spot and like to support small businesses but not when the food and drinks are sloppy. Oysters are very bland, nothing super exciting wouldn’t be surprised if they sourced their oysters from a grocery store, we got scallops as well which again very bland and weird it was served with just a drizzle of oil and no sauce? Wines we got were subpar just tasted like some cheap grocery store wine and no one made us try it beforehand, just poured a whole glass and served it. Honestly the place is cute I hope it gets better I’d love to give it another try
I had high hopes for this place, but after two visits, I will not be returning. Both times I went for happy hour. The big issue was the service. On my first visit, the server asked if she could give us a free shot in exchange for a cigarette. That was highly unprofessional. On my second visit, we sat at the bar for 15 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. Once we were finally acknowledged, we ordered the happy hour white wine (grüner veltliner). The plastic wine glasses smelled gross, like fish and mold, and the wine was served lukewarm. It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive, but they were busy so I understand. $1 oysters is an amazing value, and they were fresh, but they were covered in grit on the outside and filled with shell fragments on the inside. No big deal though. During our time there, 2 of us stepped outside for ~5 minutes while the other 2 people from our party stayed at the bar. While they were outside, the server repeatedly asked when they were coming back. Over and over again, basically harassing the 2 people at the bar over when the 2 outside were coming back, implying that some of us had dined and dashed. Mind you, there were still 2 people from our party at the bar who would have paid the bill. I don't understand how you can be so worried when we step away for a few minutes, when you ignored us for the first 15 minutes we sat at the bar. It was rude and disrespectful. I work in the service industry and was extremely disappointed in the service and treatment we were given. It's really a shame because the truffle croque monsieur and french toast were both delicious, and the inside has a great ambiance.

Positives are the nice lighting and atmosphere, but the huge negative was that service here was shockingly disappointing... Went here on a quiet Friday night, was offered a table, waited a long while to get our orders taken and way, way longer to get our drinks. (Actually, when we asked about our drinks, our server told us they were at the bar, so we had to go and grab them ourselves. This struck me as unusual, considering they took our order at our table?) My gin and tonic ended up being gin in flat, plain sparkling water... Just really bad. When I asked, they said they were out of both tonic and limes that night, which was frustrating... Why let me order a gin and tonic, then? :( And what bar runs out of both tonic and limes at 6pm on a Friday? That's literally two-thirds of gin and tonic ingredients missing, lmao. Worst of all, they kept that "gin and tonic" on the tab and were confused when I asked why it was on the tab, since I didn't actually get a gin and tonic. I just wanted to get out there. Sad :(

A dishonest and unsanitary establishment. I visited recently for a friend’s birthday and ordered the smoked oyster dip along with a couple of glasses of wine. I found a large piece of plastic in the dip and had to ask the waitress and manager three separate times before they finally agreed to remove it from the bill. I paid only for the wine I ordered, yet later discovered an unauthorized $24 charge on my card — not a tip, as it was nearly half the total of my original bill. Between the hygiene concerns, lack of accountability, and dishonest billing, this restaurant is absolutely not worth visiting. Would not recommend.
