We showed up for our 8PM reservation, got promptly waited on, and had drinks in hand within 5 minutes. Our server was friendly, as was everyone that we encountered. Our food was delicious! We can’t wait to go back!

Wow!!! What an amazing place. Food was absolutely tasty. It is located 20 minutes away from Niagara Falls, the parking is located 2 min away. I highly recommend to check out the place. I know I will be coming back to this place during my next visit.

My go to restaurant in Buffalo. Love the food. The Carl is the best and the handmade ravioli is hearty. The food in general is very filling. Only small wish is that the servers would provide clean cutlery when the main comes. Otherwise the place is perfect.

Had a great dinner here with my wife. Our server was fantastic, our food was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. It's great for date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommend Osteria 166. (The pic is of the wild boar.)

Besides my reservation not showing up. Which I had a screenshot of the confirmation. The place was nice. Although very very packed. Luckily we were given a nice corner table away from the large groups all around. The food was amazing & the owner was very nice & offered complimentary shots. The prices were pretty good. Their drinks ehhhh not so much. Got a tiny martini for $12 when it definitely was worth about $8. Will go back but during the weekday since it was too packed for me.

We started with the Aquavite and Nani mule, which were both excellent cocktails. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the same standard. The Risotto Bites had a tater tot-like texture rather than the creamy risotto we expected. The Carbonara Malfaldine, despite its strong online reviews, fell flat for us—it was heavy on cheese but lacking in meat and overall flavor. The Braised Short Rib was acceptable but didn't have the depth of flavor we were hoping for. On a positive note, the service was attentive—our hostess checked on us regularly—and the atmosphere was welcoming. Given the high reviews, we expected more from the food, but perhaps we just didn't order the right dishes.

We picked this restaurant based on reviews. It looked like a really cool atmosphere. There were 3 of us, including my wife and mother in law. We were excited for the cocktail menu-just to be told oh this one and that one are no longer on the menu, this is for fall. It’s June, so why is it out then? Next they were out of ravioli, and then my wife ordered a resiling and they were out of that too. By that point we were pretty frustrated because they seemed to be out of everything we ordered. We ended up walking out. Disappointed to say the least. We don’t mind spending money, but it’s a Friday night, you’re an Italian restaurant out of ravioli and a pretty basic wine.

We used to really enjoy this place and visited several times before COVID—it was one of the better Italian spots in Western NY. Unfortunately, our recent experience was disappointing. The quality just isn’t what it used to be. My daughter ordered a pizza, and to be honest, even a frozen one from Walmart would’ve been better. It’s a shame, because we had some great meals here in the past. Hoping they can get back to the level they used to be at.

I don't think the restaurant knows what it is or at least I definitely don't. You walk into a rowdy bar and then get seated at a romantic restaurant in the back. The service was good and they kept our drinks refilled and a very nice young man with an ankle injury was very friendly and knowledgeable of the specials. I ordered the chicken parmiangiano and my wife the bolognese. It was more acidic than I'd like and very sparse on the sauce. Slightly overpriced and table was small. I'd say probably not the best Italian food in Buffalo.

Their decor was neat. Their house bread was delicious! But, the pulled chicken wrap was far too spicy for my pallet and made the 9 hour drive home much longer as it required many stops.
