This place is, hands down, my favorite pizza joint in Burbank/NoHo/Toluca Lake. Fresh ingredients, crispy yet still chewy crust, and the absolute perfect blend of tomatoes and spices in the sauce. Try the meatballs as well. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly cooked little spheres of carnivore heaven.
Just had to leave a review. Went and picked up order, fantastic all around. Had the Hay market and the brinks robbery, and both were astoundingly delicious. Crust is perfect, lots of toppings, and friendly service! Absolutely recommend this place, and will have to return again soon!
Boston transplant that was so excited to find this spot and even more excited that it lived up to my hype. LA pizza doesn't set the bar very high to be fair, but this place far exceeds anything else in the city.
Love this place. Small, family-owned, friendly. Great service, owners involved in the community, and—seriously y’all—THE CRUST IS SO GOOD. So good. Reasonable prices for excellent food and great atmosphere. Get the Stromboli ⭐️ 😋
The Pizza and the Wings are amazing! I was shocked at how much better pizza tastes when it's done carefully. Thier oven is amazing and thier sauce is good on everything them make!
Best pizza I’ve had in LA. No agenda, wasn’t expecting it, just wanted some pizza for lunch near work and BaaaZING! Tasty AF. Must be the sauce but I ate that crust too and I usually leave that on my plate.
Random find thanks to a friend who brought us here after a round of D&D at the local gaming shop. Great accommodations for my wife’s gluten allergies with personal sized 8” pie called the Salem Street White Pizza. They took great care to avoid cross contamination. Also good selection for those with onion issues like me!
This place is fantastic, it is family run and everybody there is wonderful. The pizza is excellent! Same amazing consistency everytime. Love this place! I am gluten intolerant and their gluten free pizza is amazing. All fresh made everything they make!
North End Pizza is absolutely got to be the best pizza place in the world, my wife, Isabel and I walked in, and we’re graciously greeted by Jeanette (Gicomina) an amazing and beautiful woman. She explained the menu to us, and how everything is fresh and made in house, we ordered two separate pizzas, salad, wings, and the cannolis, and we were delighted, everything was fantastic, and we will definitely be back. Thank you very much God bless you and your family. Marvin and Isabel
What a pleasant little joint. Came for wings. They were great. Small but had flavor. Staff was very welcoming. Will def try again.
I have lived in Burbank for more than thirty years, seen many businesses come and go. While out walking on magnolia I saw the quaint NEP Pizzeria restaurant, I was curious so I stopped and ordered. Best pizza ever crusts, toppings, service the best and the pizza was hot and fresh not greasy like some other local establishments. I shall return 😎
We stopped here on our trip to LA this weekend. Fantastic food and amazing staff. So friendly. Absolutely recommend trying them out. Best Calzone I’ve ever eaten
Great little family owned business. The owners are super nice! And the pizza here is delicious! The “Great Brinks Robert” pizza is really good. Definitely give it a try if you’re looking for great food and like to support small businesses!
Awesome east coast pizza. Very warm atmosphere. The owner takes the time to get to know her customers.
This is the BEST pizza in Burbank, and some of the best pizza anywhere. Every ingredient is fresh, and the dough, sauce, etc. are made in house. On top of that, it’s a family run business, and their service is the highest quality. Support this incredible place, and enjoy!
We walked to this place while on vacation and the owners treated us like family. This family owned pizza joint is so cozy and they make all their ingredients in house! If I could give them more than five stars I would. PLEASE check them out if you're in the area!
This is our new favorite pizza place in Burbank. The pizza is so so tasty. The family atmosphere is fantastic, and the owners are super welcoming. Can't say enough good.
The only place to get pizza in Burbank. This new location looks great from the multiple flat screens to the brick walls, can't be beat. I've been looking for a long while to find some authentic NY style pizza, you know the one, that crust has to be just right. Northend has it right. The people here are friendly and you can tell that the owner really cares about his employees and customers. tl;dr - you found the right pizza place. Go ahead and call the order in, you won't regret it.
Great place...my calzone was delicious. I would say my only criticism would be for them to include more sausage when you ask for a sausage calzone. By the way, the marinara sauce on the side is delicious. My son ate a calzone for the first time and now he's hooked.
This was our first time here, my kids loved the place, the environment and the kindness that all the staff have in this place. The pizza was delicious, but let me tell you about the beer… I am not a fan of it at all, but they sell one made with a hibiscus flower…made in a local brewery, it tasted absolutely delicious, this place is perfect for everyone. Definitely would be a plus if they cook the pizza on a wood fire. Excellent customer service, and not to mention the guidance that they gave us about what food we should try since it was our first time there, and telling us that way that they cook their food, EVERYTHING is homemade, nothing is frozen, the tomato sauce, ranch dressing, vegetables, etc., ask for the chicken wings… you’re going to love this place!!! UPDATE!!! We were so happy to find a good pizzeria, after our bad experience at pizza pazza, we really love this place not only for the pizza but ambiance was cool for the kids, the mother of the owner is always there, she was a very nice lady, until one day my husband asked for the wrong drink flavor! Once the lady got to the table he told her about it, and what an attitude that she gave him “what do you want me to do with this drink? Are you gonna pay for it?” He said, “yes but I need you to give me another flavor” she was very rude, and we noticed immediately how mad she got, GOSH! It was a fountain drink!!! On top of that my son went inside asking her for a refill even though that is a fountain drink, they have to serve you the refill, we are fine with it, but she said to my son, “how come did you finish your drink that fast?” That was all for us, what a bad customer service! Specially because the pizza there is very expensive. Luckily we found another pizzeria that is Neapolitan style, wood fire, and not that expensive! Go to gorilla’s Pie, you would love it!!!
We just finished dinner here and it is BY FAR the best pizza, service and environment of any restaurants in Burbank. Authentically Italian, FRESH and nothing fried! They accommodate kids perfectly with table toys and menu recommendations. Must try- meatballs, white pizza and the meat lovers! 👏🏼10/10!
We're from PA. The pizza was super good, exactly the kind we both like. Hyperthin crust, crunchy on the bottom without being brittle. We got a veggie pie and all the veggies were cooked *just right*. Sauce was yummy. Crust was stellar, though. Sorry I left the pizza bones, I got full. The cashier at the counter was also very nice, immediately greeting us when we entered and explaining how everything is from scratch. The cook is literally stirring up flour just a few feet away from where you order. Thanks from Pittsburgh.
Needed 8 pizzas in 30 minutes and they rallied. Plus it was delicious!
Great pizza and I love the wings. Solid welcoming atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.
I stopped by for the first time 2 days ago to check this place out and loved the pizza. My mom is Italian and made pizza from scratch so my standards are high. These people know how to make a good east coast pizza with fresh ingredients. Staff was very nice and the order came quickly. I've been craving it ever since. I will definitely be back soon.
I got a gluten free pizza from here and it was homemade, fresh and delicious! It’s hard to find gluten free pizza that is tasty but this surpassed my expectations. All the staff was really kind and attentive and the decor inside the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely return when I’m back in Burbank!
Been driving by for a year and finally stopped in. Super nice staff, great pizza and salad, and a couple nice beers as well. Got wild with splitting the pizza in half with different toppings and they had no issues. Will be back for sure. I wanna try those wings, they look great!
It is very welcoming to a family of four in addition to having great pizza, wings, and cheese 🧀 bread. We learned their wings are made with their own sauce overnight, and its just delicious! We all loved the half cheese half pepperoni pizza 🙌 the kids devoured them. Special Halloween theme to put everyone in the spirit. They have a few toys (small building blocks, play cut-up pizza, and colors) to help keep the kids distracted and in place. I can't get over how great this North End Pizzeria is, and I can't wait to go back! 😍
Pizza was great! Thin crust style, made from a real New Yorker so you know it's the good stuff. All of the staff were super nice and accommodating for our group with several small kids and even brought out something for them to color. Thanks again! 12/06/22
This is by far the best pizza joint in all of LA. They are a Mother and Son team from back east who really do justice with staying traditional to the way a NY pie should be but they also push innovation with great flavor like the Pepperdoo. They have great local beer. The customer service is hand doen the best. I almost didn’t write a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem all to myself. This is my new one and only pizza shop in LA!
We ordered the Margherita heart-shaped pizza for Valentine's Day, and it was delizioso! The crust was thinner in the middle, and thicker around the edges, which seems to be the proper ratio, per Italy's standards. The crust was crunchy without being hard, and perfectly wood-fired. We were able to pre-order it, which saved a lot of time on this busy night.
A small, functional pizzeria, featuring indoor and outdoor seating, and staffed by a very friendly and attentative staff. The menu offered a nice assortment of pizza choices (including a vegan option), but we opted for a simple, large pepperoni. With 6 slices, my wife and I planned on each having 2 and bringing 2 home for our son. Sorry son... we ate it all. It was too good. The crust was crispy and thin, and the toppings were not excessive. I believe we have found our favorite pizza in Burbank!
Shout out to Brie, she made Olivia's retirement party with two of her best friends absolutely lovely!
The next time you're in Burbank, this is the pizza place you need to check out. They make the pizza dough in front of you, use fresh ingredients, and the finished pizza is light, non-greasy delicious pie to enjoy. They have fresh chopped salads, yummy, too, and I'll be trying the chicken wings on my next visit.
I was at the office when Olivia was retiring! Great work on the pizzas! She loved it! Pizza was delicous as well!
Delicious, classic thin-crust Italian pizza! Also had the chopped salad -- dressing is homemade and so good. Very family friendly here. Wonderful staff. We love the location. All around, just great. Really glad to have this place in our Burbank community.
"We’re from out of town and decided to order from North End Pizzeria. When I called in my to-go order, Jeanette was incredibly helpful and made sure I had just the right amount of food for my family. Everything was absolutely delicious—we especially enjoyed the wings, pepperoni pizza, and cheesecake. Highly recommend!"
Pizza is fantastic!! But most of all, the service and care of the staff is exceptional.
We really appreciated the triple olive pizza they made for our coworker olivia they even lit the bottom on fire just a little just like olivia always lights are bottoms on fire just a little congratulations Big O!
I don’t like buffalo wings, but the ones in here omg, they were delicious, I think about them every other week
First let me start with saying I am very particular with pizza . The crust was absolutely baked to perfection . The sauce and toppings were all incredible. On top of that the owner was super nice and gave a verbal tour of the menu and spot on recommendations.
Best pizza I’ve had since New York and Italy. They are a true gem of Burbank. Owners are so hospitable. 10/10
Stopped here randomly. Awesome place. Had a delicious organic salad and my son had a great slice plus wings. The sever was really sweet and helpful.
I was visiting from out of town, this place was close and had good reviews, so I gave them a shot. The order was ready quickly and it was delicious. The gentleman that help me (I think owner or manager) was very nice and wanted to make sure I had everything i needed. Highly recommended North End Pizza.
Brie has amazing customer service skills, she absolutely nailed our complicated order and was such a positive vibe to deal with. Amazing
Very glad I stopped in for lunch with my family. I had half a dozen buffalo wings (they were great!) and we all shared a pizza. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and polite. Bathroom was super clean (a huge bonus). The little table games and toys to entertain my kids were a nice bonus (the wooden pizza making kit was a huge hit - my kids made fake pizzas while we waited for our food and it really helped them pass the time). Would definitely visit again!
Best pizza I've had in LA, hands down. The pie was delicious and the owner was a very involved and attentive host. He took our orders personally and walked us through the beer options. He was very keen about hearing our feedback about everything, and all we had to say was how amazing everything was.
My new favorite authentic Italian restaurant. Generous salad size, dressing was just right. The pizza is absolutely amazing because of the fresh ingredients used. Even the crust has enjoyable flavor. Worth ever $$. Family owned & friendly staff. I can't wait to come back to try other menu items. Burbank residents, you are LUCKY to have this place.
Some of the best wings I’ve had in the city and nice thin crust pizza. $18 for 12 wings, and these are marinated big, tender wings with a house made ranch and hot sauce. Most places would charge $16 for $6 wings, so this place is a steal! Service was excellent too, really friendly staff who were passionate about what they were cooking up. Can’t wait to come back for more and try new things on the menu!
Special thank you to Brie for being your Mythical best and catering to this very specific order! Olivia was so happy!
1st time here today ! LOVED our food. We got a 14 in. Pizza with mushroom, sausage and fresh basil. Also Eastern chopped salad. Perfect crust, perfect sauce: so fresh — and literally best pizza since moving to LA 5 yrs ago. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Absolutely delicious. My sister and I bought a personal pizza to share without telling the waiters and they brought the food already split on different plates. The wings were genuinely amazing, so juicy and the spice was just right. The service was stellar, they went above and beyond to create a great dining expierence If you plan on tipping make sure to tip while youre ordering the food at the register or bring cash, the workers deserve it!
Checked out this pizzeria for the first time on a weekday and tried the Green Monster pizza. The pesto sauce was super tasty, and the crust was spot-on had a nice undercarriage. Can’t wait to go back!
Brie is awesome and really helped us with a complicated order for our dear coworker Olivia.. The pizzas came out great and we will definitely order again! Thank you so much! You know what time it is...
A Slice of the Past at North End Pizza There are some places that serve more than just food — they serve memories. North End Pizza is that kind of place for me. I still remember the first time I met Dominic, back when he opened up at the original location. It was the new kid in town in the neighborhood , just a small local spot with the smell of dough, tomatoes, and dreams in the air. Dominic greeted everyone like family — and soon enough, that’s exactly what it felt like. Back then, Cheryl and I frequently visited, and every bite of that pizza felt like it was part of our story being written. We'd show up four nights a week like clockwork, always bringing our English bulldog, GUINNESS, who somehow managed to become as much of a regular as we were. The staff knew our order, and Guinness always had a water bowl waiting. That place was our second home — a quiet little rhythm in our lives, tucked away in Burbank. Fast forward to now, and life has changed. Cheryl’s my wife now, and Guinness has long since crossed the rainbow bridge, but that bond — the one forged over slices of bubbling cheese and crispy crust — still lives on. Recently, we made the trip to Burbank to find Dominic and North End Pizza again. Same town, new location — but as soon as we walked in, it all came flooding back. The same warm smell, the same pride behind the counter, and when that first bite hit my tongue — it was like no time had passed at all. The crackle of the crust, the tang of the sauce, the way the cheese stretched just right — it took me straight back to those nights under the neon lights of Burbank, with Cheryl beside me and Guinness at my feet. It’s rare to find something that stays true over time. But North End Pizza? It’s still the best. Still made with love. Still Dominic’s. If you’ve ever had a place that made you feel full in more ways than one, you know what I mean. And if you haven’t, maybe it’s time you let North End Pizza be that place for you.
First time here after being taken to it by a classmate. Easily one of the best pizzas I've had in way too many years. The customer service is phenomenal, the pizza was like the pizza you had as a kid in the '90s except it's not nostalgia, it's actually really that impressively good. And their Greek salad with their homemade vinaigrette is one of the best I've had. Absolutely recommend this place and looking forward to coming more often. It would be a damn shame if you were in the area and didn't stop by.
Pizza here is amazing! By far the best in town. Customer service is wonderful, which is hard to find these day. Ambience is nice with old school Italian music and sports on the TVs. All the employees are polite and attentive. A place the whole family can enjoy. Come on in, you won't be disappointed!
Always enjoy going to North End Pizza. Their pizza is top notch with excellent flavor. Salads a really tasty too. Service has always been excellent... You can tell that they really care about making their customers happy and making quality food.
What a great place. The Pizza is Fantastic and the rest of the menu is full of treasures. Franc & Ken have really done an outstanding job here. Once you had a bite...You will know its just right AAAA
My two friends recommended this pizza place to me, so I had to try their pizza! I'm so glad they recommended North End Pizza for me to try on my visit to Burbank!! This Is The Best Pizza In Town!! They nailed my complicated pizza order, and everything was amazing!! 😋 Brie was so helpful and super friendly! Thanks!!
Excellent pizza! The crust, my goodness so light and crispy, the perfect flavor. The ingredients taste fresh, everything is made in house (they made sure to tell us) and it shows! Everybody was so friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommend this to anybody who is looking for a new pizza spot to try out.

Ordered delivery from them twice, both times several months apart. The first time I ordered delivery (this was maybe back in January?), they called me minutes after I placed my order to tell me that the driver's car had broken down and I had to come in and pick it up. Felt bad & figured it was a one-off thing and picked it up. Then the night of 09/14, I ordered delivery and the same thing happened again-- (it's a required 45$ minimum if you order delivery, by the way) I was told 3 minutes after I placed & paid for my delivery order that they couldn't actually deliver it and I had to come in and pick it up. This time I couldn't come in and asked if they could just cancel the order altogether. I'm not sure if this is an ongoing thing or if I just caught them on two bad nights by happenchance. (It was otherwise good pizza when I did try it the first time.) If it really has been an ongoing staffing/driver issue, then the delivery option should be removed from the site's UI until it can fulfill those deliveries and staff up.
Very nice, friendly people. Very good, fresh, ingredient food. Pizza (pepperoni, mushroom) plus an individual size "bianco" style pizza. Greek salad. Take out only this time. Plan on returning to try their chicken wings.
Ordered take out from here to satisfy a craving for calzones, which was absolutely met! The dough was incredible, nice and crispy on the outside with a slight chew in the middle. The ricotta and mozzarella on the inside was thick, stringy and rich in flavor. My main criticism is with the pineapple I ordered, which was very obviously straight out of a can with little flavor. If you’re not using fresh pineapple, which is understandable, I’d at least take the time to roast it in a pan before putting it in a calzone, because it’s not going to cook, but rather only warm inside. Also, the ingredients were lopsided, so one end was packed and the other was mostly cheese. Lastly, there wasn’t enough sauce on the side for the huge size of the calzone. I will say however, the other calzone I tried with Italian sausage, artichoke, and olive was impeccable. Even though we didn’t eat there, the restaurant itself has a cozy, local business vibe with outdoor seating. This would be a great place to take a sports team or any group outing in general, especially since there’s tons of free parking in front and around the corner. Pick up was easy, though the online system didn’t allow us to put in our credit card information, so we had to select cash at check out. They ended up calling us to get the card information over the phone, but then we still ended up using the physical card on site. A bit strange, but seemed like a temporary online payment issue and not a usual customer service issue.
Their pizza was pretty good, classic thin crust with very good ingredients. Might not have ordered the best flavor for my preferences and it loses points for not have reheat value. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Nice place to just relax and talk with some friends. Quaint and chill.

Dont get the slice, just get a full pizza. Their size for just a slice is very minimal. The pizza was very hot and tasted good though. The dough is made to not fill you up so a full pizza is better.

Pizza is alright, but for the price just go to Dino's instead. 20 dollars for a personal pizza that felt tinier than other places, toppings were sparse, and they have a super strange takeout process asking for your card info before you can place an order.
Dining in experience is mediocre. Store is messy and looks like a warehouse. Medium pizza + a dozen wings + tips, i paid $54. Then I learned there's no water, only bottled water. I had to make another purchase for just the drinks. 1 fountain drink and 1 bottled water cost $7.68 I was like ??? Hmm
Overpriced for a tiny personal pizza that wasn’t satisfying. I paid $20 for very few toppings and the cashier lady wasn’t nice. Very disappointed since I really wanted to support this small business, but unfortunately won’t be returning.
2 small pepperoni slices for $14. Criminal. Pizza was good but nothing special to justify the high price.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. We got a margherita pizza, 12 wings, and a bottle of water for about $50. We asked for tap water but they only had bottled. The service was mostly good but the whole place had the vibe of eating at your friend’s house with his parents. The gal working the counter did a great job explaining the menu and pizza sizes to us but then the other person working (owner maybe?) tried to talk us out of getting a large pizza because we were also getting wings. The food wasn’t amazing but it was pretty good. The wings were pretty small but did have a nice flavor. The pizza was solid. We asked for Parmesan to sprinkle on the pizza. The owner handed us a shaker with a literal pinch of cheese in it and said that they hadn’t had a chance to grate more. We thought that was weird. We were told everything was handmade a few times which is nice but honestly the best thing we had was the homemade ranch. All in all this place is fine but on the pricier side. I say all this respectfully because the food wasn’t bad but maybe we just went on a super slow night where they weren’t expecting dine ins.
Pizza was good, but now I understand why people are complaining about the price because you can definitely get better pizza for the price at other places in the area. The service was odd because both employees would disappear to the back to be on their phones once they were done helping you. The beer was also flat.

North End Pizzeria by far is one of my favorite pizzas. The basic pizza is phenomenal. The crust has the right balance of soft and crunch textures, not too thick, and knows how to hold onto the fantastic tangy sauce and a well-balanced cheese blend. Even the restaurant is a really cool hangout space! Reason why I gave poor rating:. I ordered today the Ole Ironsides pizza (on menu it's advertised as combo of 4 meats) but seems like what I got was more like the Great Brinks Pizza Robbery. There was no prosciutto and no meatball on the pizza, just a pepperoni and sausage pizza . I asked for a side of sauce and was brought 1Tablespoon of sauce to my table and was told that will be 82¢. The kicker was when I pulled my 2 cellphones out of my pocket, didn't realize I was being watched, then was swarmed upon and hovered drone-like in wonderment of what I was doing with 2 cellphones. Was I writing some comments online? Critiquing the food? Just checking my emails? Wouldn't they like to know?
I have given this place three opportunities to do right. Last night was the worst ever. I ordered online at 7:38 p.m. I gave them 40 minutes to complete order. It was stated on the website it would be ready in 20 minutes. I knew better because my previous experiences they were very slow. The food is very good so I gave it a third chance. I arrived mind you, 40 minutes later to a restaurant that was in disarray. They confirmed my order and said it wasn't ready yet could I give them four more minutes. I gave them 10 minutes. They brought me an order that wasn't mine. The lady behind the counter said to me amazingly. "Don't ask me I just got here." I was amazed. The chef came forward and apologize and said they put the order in the wrong place give him 4 minutes and he'll make the pizza. I said please take the time to make the pizza right. 15 minutes later I got my pizza. I am so confused how they confirmed my order 30 minutes earlier in person. An hour earlier online and nothing was completed till after I got there. I have to say the food was good still but how much can a company screw up and not even act like anything's wrong. Probably the last time I'm going there for at least three to four months and then I'll forget and go back and experience the same experience. I guess that's the true definition of insanity. Really it's my hope that a local business that's one block for my house can service my account . I hope it's not a pipe dream.
Sure its great, but no menu posted under menu. Will adjust review if I ever take the risk
There’s no way I paid this much for this pizza. A “large” pizza was six slices….where in America do they do that at?! The flavor is good which is why this wasn’t 1-Star but $50 for two pizzas that are a “small” at any other shop. Listen, the taste is good but customers need to know what they’re buying before they get it.

The pizza was good but when I went late on a Friday night I was asked to show my I'd when I bought my pizza with my bank card. I took note of this and watched as other customers came in and paid with their cards without being asked to show ID. I feel like I was profiled for whatever reason. Shame. I won't be going back.
Just had a pizza from there. WASTE OF money. It was as nasty as Dominos but cost$20 more Couldn't find the pepperoni! It should be called high end pizza not North RUINED our game day feast.fake reviews for sure!!! So go to one of the other many pizza places if you like thin and Really good Pepperoni go to Pinball or try Reno s on Riverside dr.
The worst calzone I have ever had. On top of the dry crust and gritty ricotta, the sausage and mushrooms were disgusting. AND it cost me about $17 to drive to them to get it. Most overpriced and gross food I have ever eaten.
Pretty upset, I placed an order online and the location said specifically their orange grove location...I get to the place and it says it’s closed temporarily... So I went and ordered from another restaurant. 1 hour later and I get a call that my pizza is ready. I’m not expecting of a discount or anything like that but an apology would have sufficed. They acted like nothing was wrong... it’s not hard to update a website. It takes less than 5 minutes to remove a non-existent location. Or if that’s not manageable for some reason to call the customer prior to the food being finished to let them know where it will actually will be picked up. On a food note... the pizza was unusually light, literally. It weighed less than a pound and I thought for a moment that I walked out with an empty box. The actual flavors were meh at best. Overall, I’m really disappointed by their food and their customer service and I encourage others to order from other pizzerias around town.
Horrible, horrible food. I was so looking forward to a Friday evening of good pizza based on all these great reviews. I'm all for supporting independent local businesses, but when they are far inferior to the national brands, I have to go with my stomach. The calzone was 80% air and only had 4 pepperonis with little else. The BBQ chicken pizza was paper thin, almost no chicken and sauce and really had no flavor. Believe me, I make matzo with butter and salt that has more flavor. After we were done eating, I asked my family if they wanted to order out for dinner or eat leftovers. Very disappointed.
$18 for an 8 inch personal pizza. Tasted like i was eating a well done paper plate. Frozen Pizza from whole foods would get the job done and for $13 cheaper. North End takes GRIFT to new levels. Avoid this place like the plague. Shame
“Okay Food but small minded management. “ I recently ordered at the end of their shift from the location on Magnolia. When I returned home to eat our meal with my pregnant wife who’s a vegetarian, we home the eggplant that was ordered we received a sausage sandwich. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed that night and the next day when we tried to call and notify them of the mistake. After finally reaching the restaurant and receiving a call back from their owner/management, we were lectured how they 1) read their phone orders back over the phone (which the correct order was read back over the phone) 2) they have you review the order on your receipt ( which I remember being asked if I wanted the receipt but my reply was I didn’t need it as I have never had an issue in the past with my orders) and 3) they have you check the food which didn’t happen as I picked up our food at the end of the night. Lastly,, I was told how they were experiencing a rise in cost for materials, that they haven’t raised their prices, and that what they hear me asking is ‘ I want a free sandwich.” No I didn’t want a free sandwich, I just wanted the sandwich that I ordered. And if keeping your doors open means you have to spend 20 minutes on a call with a customer to explain the 3 different ways your staff dropped the ball rather than just replacing the $11 sandwich which is the right thing to do, then keep the sandwich, the $11 I paid and the tip I left on my takeout order. I normally don’t leave long reviews but this one caught me by surprise.
WORST CALZONE ever and for north of $15 almost 20 dollars the sausage was YUCK crust was dry overcooked no sauce on side. Called and they didn't want to make it right. Well done getting reviews with FAKE positive reviews and a Owner who is absent and place poorly managed. And GET RID OF your pizza oven that you don't use except to imply you are wood FIRE and ARE NOT!!
If you want to spend a good amount of money on flavorless cardboard, then this is the pizza place for you! Want horrible lack of execution and to deal with management defending their garbage? Come here! I tried this for the first time tonight, seeing the decent reviews I wanted to try something different. It was different alright, just not in a good way. The pizza was overcooked. BBQ chicken pizza had 4 drops of BBQ sauce and a tablespoon worth of bacon bit sized pieces of chicken. White pizza had zero garlic or sauce on it. When I called to complain, the manager defended all my complaints and said that they "weigh everything". 🙄 Honestly, it was not only bad food, but bad customer service. Absolutely never again. If you want pizza, try Pinball across the street!
I was so excited to try this local spot and unfortunately they got my order wrong. I understand mistakes happen but was so surprised by the response I received which ranged from "Well the chef said he put pepperoni on it" to "well it's healthier for you this way." I believe a refund or exchange of the item below was in order but instead I was told "I don't know what to tell you" and finally given a dollar off. Needless to say I was disappointed and won't be returning. I understand the error but definitely not the disrespectful response and lack of willingness to remedy a clear error.
Native New Yorker here who was craving somewhat close to a New York pizza. I say somewhat close because I know I’m not in NY. This was by far the WORST I’ve ever had in Burbank. I’ll tell you why… 1. This pizza is considered a large but when I went to pick up, it looked like a Medium size pizza. (I said to myself ok no big deal) BUT!!! 2. This pizza cost about $32 dollar!?!?! My mouth dropped to the floor! 3. Now for the tasting…. And it was not worth $32 for a medium pizza because it clearly looked like a medium size “Large”. There was no crust, super slim, and the cheese and tomato was not even close to “New York Style Pizza”. 4. Last but least you will NEVER SEE ME IN HERE AGAIN!
The owner's response speaks to why I left a 1 star for service. I have frequented North End Pizza for several years, I have made it my go to pizza spot since 2018! I mentioned so on the phone and emphasized I have never had an issue before informing them my order was incorrect, and to my surprise, I was spoken down to and condescended! Really tragic that the owner of this establishment seems to be doing it the most harm. After reading several reviews, I saw my experience doesn't seem to be out of character for him. You mentioned over the phone & in your response that you would prefer to not argue, then why is it you are so defensive? I was met with the same attitude when I called to have my order corrected. Human error occurs on both ends & especially within the food industry. You've made it very clear, you don't come to work to make your customer's happy but rather to be right. Also to note, I was not asked to check my order before departing.
The pizza was great! However, I did not like how the gray-haired woman and the other gentleman at the front were treating their employees. I overheard the gray-haired woman speak very rudely to a young girl next to her—someone who seemed eager to help and ready to move on to her next task. She snapped at her to “get away from her” and “give her some space,” which felt unnecessarily harsh. Then, when the phone rang, the gentleman told a staff member—possibly a cook or helper—to answer it. I’m not entirely sure what his role was, as he seemed to be doing multiple things. But it was the tone he used that left me speechless. I understand that restaurants can be fast-paced and stressful, but I don’t think the way they spoke to their team was respectful or appropriate. I’ve always loved this place—the pizza is consistently great. But this was the first time I actually stepped inside the restaurant; I usually order delivery. That said, it’s hard for me to continue supporting a small business if the same care they show to their customers isn’t extended to their employees. Respect should go both ways.
0 Stars this place is so trash 😂 We spent $56 on 2 pizzas. One was supposed to be a white sauce pizza with ricotta cheese and I’m pretty sure they forgot we wanted spinach and added it after the pizza was cooked. We called and took the pizza back and they took one look at it and said we ‘could have added some alfredo sauce ourselves at home’ and refused to remake it. Theres no sauce or cheese on the pizza as you can see. Just pizza bread and uncooked spinach.
