Great addition to San Jose. Brisket is tender and yummy. Slaw was a great side and service was the BEST. Atmosphere was perfect as we watched the World Series game 5. We will be back.

Came here with Friends in March 2023 on recommendation of a man we met on the plane to Cabo. Did not disappoint. Their homemade sauces were the icing on the excellent offerings. We tried several meats, the street corn, mac and cheese, queso dip, and their homemade complementary buns. Everything was awesome. And Charlie/Carlos was our waiter and he was awesome. He even called a cab for us. Would go back every time we're in Cabo and would recommend checking it out.

If you like traditional BBQ this place is for you such a fun vibe in this place, great service and the food is amazing! They also have vegetarian options which was awesome as my wife is vegetarian. Great portion sizes and just delicious food. Highly recommend this place!

I got the chopped cheese sandwich and it was quite tasty. My friends and I all loved our food. We were also the only ones in there because it was new years eve in the day. So the service was really good because we had everybody there waiting on us. 😂 😂. Value was ok nothing special but good food no question!

Chuy was our excellent waiter! The barbecue food is awesome! The pork sandwich and beef brisket sandwich is a must try! The Cowboy Mezcal (cucumber ) drink is amazing! We also had the corn on cob appetizer. Legit potatoe salad! The staff is very friendly! We will be back!

Seriously good bbq for a great price (at least for Cabo pricing). Probably my favorite meal so far. Lots of craft beer to choose from as well. Chui was awesome and a great waiter.

Amazing BBQ in the heart of Cabo San Lucas! Had the platter for 2-3 Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, slaw, Onion rings and rolls. Plenty for 3 of us and leftovers!

This place has some of the best BBQ you’ll find outside of Texas - hell it’s even better than some you’ll find inside of Texas. Don’t skip on this just because it’s not the local flavor. Portion sizes are generous so come hungry. The service is insanely good - they’re friendly, quick, great with kids, and they do it all with a smile. Can’t recommend coming here enough.

Excelente lugar con platillos de primer nivel y con una vista maravillosa a la Bahía de Cabo San Lucas. Si te gusta lo ahumado, esto es para ti. Mi familia estuvo feliz con el brisquet, las alitas y los acompañamientos, además de unas bebidas refrescantes. Yo soy vegetariana y me comí unos tacos de coliflor deliciosos, bien servidos; y, para rematar, el "final feliz" : un pastel de chocolate y un pay de nuez... ¡fantásticos! Además, el servicio es magnífico y el lugar bien limpio y seguro.

Muy buena opción para comer si te gusta ese sabor del ahumadito, muy bien todo y la atención de Jesús de lujo la verdad. Lo recomendaría, los precios justos, considerando toda la labor que se debe de hacer para un buen ahumado. Literal nos dejaron entrar hasta la cocina. 1000% recomendable

El lugar es muy lindo y acogedor, tenían música en vivo y el chico era realmente bueno 👏🏼 En cuanto a la comida, ordenamos los sándwiches de pulled pork y el de belly, ambos bastante ricos al igual que el mac & cheese y las papas de gajo! Regresaría a este lugar pronto, sin dudas.

Soy muy amable con el forianio, tiene el tiempo para explicarte, muy limpio el lugar el dueño y la chef 10 de 10. Fue temporada de mango y hacen unas deliciosias. El mesero ni se diga todo un amor de persona.

What a bbq joint. Had a big platter with all the meats. Honestly couldn’t tell which was the best as they were all awesome. And the sauces - so good. Oh, and the minty cucumber salad really cut through the strong meat flavours, really well thought out. We’ll be back for sure.

We've made it our mission on our 2 week vacation to visit as many cool little eateries as we can, this one was worth the walk from our resort. I had a chopped brisket burger with cheese, beans, and wedges, and he had a platter with 3 meats. Living in Calgary, Alberta, we're pretty spoiled by "the blocks," which are a la cart meat by the pound establishments. This definitely didn't disappoint. I could barely drag myself out of there, and we took a key lime pie to go. The staff were wonderful as well, they even put on the NFL game for us to watch.

Went to Taba BBQ with my husband. We both live in Cabo but are from the states. I grew up in the south so BBQ is a must for me. Everything here was sooooo good! Service was quick and friendly. Drinks were amazing. I got colada loca and my husband had the low rider margarita, sooo good! Bartender and host were friendly and charismatic and everything we ordered was delicious. The home made sauces are great, I tried them all and didn’t dislike one of them :) we had the beef brisket with 3 sides, cauliflower, potato wedges, and mac n cheese. We were so happy when we saw they have Root beer on the menu as we haven’t been able to find normal root beer with sugar since we’ve lived here. Such a great meal! Definitely recommend!

Just came here with our toddler and my in laws on our first trip to Cabo: came across it searching Google for some good alternatives to more tacos and what a good decision it was! First off the vibe and atmosphere is just so cool- the decor, music, and service was fantastic and very unique for the area. And the food was bomb- my husband especially loved barbecue and was super impressed with the brisket. The smoked half chicken literally fell apart with the touch of a fork, so good! The price is fair, on par with what we would pay in Canada. Thank you Taba BBQ for a great dinner experience!

Taba BBQ off the beaten path, but this should be a stop for every barbecue lover. This is on the northeast side of the marina a few blocks away from the marina. We ordered a brisket sandwich, which was buttery and tender! Super good flavor! A half pound of spare ribs, also fall off the bones tender. A chopped cheese sandwich, which is brisket and a cheese sauce sandwich. A large side of wedge fries and a small side of potato salad. The food here was so delicious! I wish we would’ve known about this place on previous trips. The employees were gracious and friendly. They offered their suggestions for our large group. The restaurant had good music playing, maybe just a touch loud as it was a little difficult to hold a conversation. They also had playoff basketball on the TV’s. Overall this place was a definite stop for us on all of our future trips! The employees so friendly and the food amazingly good!

Holy cow, Batman! I find it unbelievable that I have to leave the US, the birthplace of BBQ, to find the best! I'm from Florida with some of the best ever, Texas is also good, I agree, but we like it sticky and sweet. Taba was neither. The meat is unsauced but absolutely done right. Tender, slow cooked, full of smoke. I barely bothered with sauce except the mustard based one which was simply astounding and required me to use a bit. Brisket and pork belly were absolutely perfect in appearance, flavor and texture. Pork ribs were fall-off -the-bone as they should be. Mac and cheese is a new favorite, we liked the beans, but the cauliflower burnt ends are a stroke of genius that shouldn't be missed. Beef ribs are only available Saturdays but tonight there were none because of quality issues. There's no better sign of a good restaurant than one unwilling to serve food that isn't the best. Super friendly staff, every single one of them. Because we immediately tucked into the plate of heaven I neglected photos of the food. My apologies. We followed our nose to the best BBQ in Cabo San Lucas. Their smoked meats, burger, sausage, and hand-crafted sauces are superb. Hickory-smoked Texas-style meat candy at its finest! Plus a full bar and craft brews. We couldn’t decide, so the pit master created a beautiful sample tray for our sensory pleasure. The flavors and textures blew us away! Perfection. These guys and gals have some serious chops, not to mention good company. We actually skipped our dinner reservation to hang out here with great food and delightful company. Thank you Chris and crew. We will sing your praises to anyone who wants to know where to get amazing BBQ!

Went to their Christmas event, they had live music and bartenders serving special cocktails. The food was good, the pulled pork sandwich and the Mac and cheese were tasty. Nice view of the marina as well.

Les viandes sont exquises juteuses cuites à la perfection en revanche les accompagnement coleslaw et potatoes ne sont pas à la hauteur. Le coleslaw manque d’assaisonnement et les pomme de terre sont très farineuses sûrement une erreur de choix de la variété utilisée. Les prix sont relativement bon par contre 140 pesos pour une bouteille d’eau, il ne faut pas exagéré. Certe la bouteille est jolie et l’eau vient de je ne sais où mais il est tout à fait possible de proposer d’autres marques. Parce que des odas et des bières moins cher que l’eau c’est vraiment entretenir le cliché de l’a mal bouffe au Mexique. Enfin je pense que les films Batman ne sont pas adaptés au restaurant.

We were pleasantly surprised at how well Taba does bbq! Honestly, we were not expecting a lot because we come from Alberta, (beef country). But we gave it a fair shot, and it was great! The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and is beautifully decorated, it was not crowded, (we came just after happy hour). Staff were attentive and awesome. The Texas Trinity will fill you up nicely...the brisket was perfect and juicy, but both the ribs and sausage were a tad dry, (I would have spritzed or pulled and wrapped them to avoid that), but all the flavours were wonderful, as well as their array of in-house sauces. Chicken wings were exceptional and a great starter. The mac & cheese was very, very good and a major surprise! Dinner for 2 w/a drink each came to 1600ish peso's...more than fair.

Perdón, pero tengo que decir que venden el brisket más seco que he comido en un restaurante de BBQ. Y no es que supiera mal, pero parte del método de preparación de un buen BBQ es que la comida conserve su humedad. La salchicha estaba muy buena, y es el primer restaurante en el que veo que venden Pork belly (que también estaba bueno), así que es un punto extra. La selección de cervezas y el servicio también muy bien. Las salsas dejan algo que desear, la salsa BBQ estaba muy aguada, y ninguna salsa pica. En cuanto a la relación precio-calidad siempre es difícil juzgarla en un lugar lleno de extranjeros como los Cabos, pero tengo que decir que se me hizo caro.

Texas BBQ in Cabo. Not gonna lie, we were skeptical but it was delicious. We had the fried pickles, onion rings, bbq sliders, and Texas trinity with beans. It overall, the food was good. The smoke of the brisket was very good and tender, the jalapeño cheddar sausage had good flavor. The BBQ sliders and onion rings were good. The fried pickles were a little over cooked and the brisket beans were just ok. I will say, their BBQ sauces were top tier. Each had a different flavor profile but paired well with the meats and were all very good. Definitely worth a try, you won’t be disappointed.

No sé por qué el lugar tiene tan buena calificación. En mi punto de vista el lugar no vale los precios que cobran la hamburguesa súper x con pan chafa y sin ningún sabor especial, solo simple el brisket no está tan mal pero frío y medio seco, la verdad la comida no vale los precios que cobran. Una mezcalita 280 pesos 3 pedazos de brisket 500 pesos y una hamburguesa tan mala por más de 300 pesos definitivamente los precios están fuera de control , y lo peor que la cantidad y calidad de la comida es mala.

Considerando que, San José de por sí es costoso, me pareció bastante caro, para las porciones, además de que la carne aunque rica, estaba recalentada y solo seca , por una hamburguesa de ese precio, no tenía ni una papita o algun side , o sea que mi calificación es porque esperaba más por precios como esos. Eso sí, el mesero que nos atendió fue sumamente amable y agradable y fueron muy amables con mis mascotas.

place was empty on a Thursday night so the service was top notch. Will say the food was mediocre at best, had the brisket sandwich with onion rings and a watermelon Marg. Portions were small so low value for dollar and the Marg was in a tom collins glass very small and underwhelming. This place could be better with larger portions for both food and drink. Probably wont go back

I ordered a brisket sandwich with a side. Once I got the bill it was determined they charged & gave me the brisket plate which was a small portion. A brisket plate, coke & tip was $40 dollars. The plate included only two tiny rolls and food wasn’t that good. It was very disappointing to be given the wrong item and to be overcharged. It wasn’t worth the cost. The flies are overwhelming in the restaurant as well. To top it off they also packed up my to go order in the kitchen and didn’t include my side to go.
