This restaurant (outdoor) is worth hunting down while you are staying at Villa del Arco or the Estancia. The setting is lovely & the ambient night temperatures suit the tropical atmosphere. -The theme behind the restaurant is farm to table and the menu displays that accordingly. -We had fantastic loin steak and salmon, (which was the freshest I’ve ever had.) The service is very prompt and they bring your food out hot off the grill. (Yum) -The dessert menu is not large but we enjoyed the orange cake with ice cream. It was saturated with a subtle flavor throughout. Lovely! -Every Tuesday and Thursday they have live music with an eccentric, but appealing rock-star singer! You have to check him out and ask for your favorites. -We love this restaurant & additionally I suggest you make reservations.

We were staying at villa estancia we ate at tomatillos twice while we were there it was great both times the bread is delicious the chicken salmon everthing we ate was great and the service from the hostess to the waiters was outstanding thank you lupita, Daniel, Alih, Adriana and Samuel.

Great service, staff was friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable about the menu. This was fabulous farm to table cuisine. I recommend the pacific salmon. It was served on a pear puree, creamy spinach sauce, and cooked to perfection . Best salmon I’ve ever had.

What a lovely experience. The food was delicious, the plating beautiful, and Celso's service was top notch. The chicken was cooked on charcoal - so tasty. The salad and dessert were also great! The hostess Alin and manager Adriana were very attentive. You're sitting outside under lights but they offer blankets if the breeze is cool. We would come here again!

Hidden gem right in front of us! We were staying at Villa del Palmar and it was our last dinner in Cabo. We were seated in the gazebo and had the full attention of the waiter, the sommelier, and the server. The menu is not extensive but the selection was enticing. Everyone enjoyed the food completely! We had the sangria and it was delicious! Some even had room for dessert! Tomatillos has all the charm of Mexico without having to go downtown. I will definitely recommend Tomatillo to anyone staying at the Villas in Cabo!

Tomatillos restaurant is great, however, you do need to have a booking for dinner. The servings are not huge, thankfully, but they are very tasty. I enjoyed the salmon, and also some steak. If you are on the all inclusive plan, then this restaurant is a definite during your stay. It is outdoors as most of the restaurants are and the waiters and the staff were fabulous. I highly recommend making this a place to add to your dining itinerary

Fresh. Healthy. Delicious. Very creative menu with incredible combinations of flavors. Loved our meal here. We started with the salad with fruit, hummus and corn chowder. For entrees we had salmon with pear sauce and sea bass with a side of cauliflower Cous cous. All wonderful! For our anniversary the waiter brought us a wonderful dessert with decadent orange chocolate and a sparkler. Also loved my lemon martini. Highly recommend Tomatillos when staying at Villa resorts or nearby. All around a wonderful meal in a delightful setting.

If you are staying in Villa Del Palmar, then this restaurant is a must Try. They have good food. Their fried cauliflower is so tasteful. This place requires reservation.

We loved our dining experience at tomatillos! Our server (Jesse) I believe was amazing! We enjoyed all of the appetizers with our favorite being the avo hummus! We enjoyed the farm steak and picana. thank you for the anniversary dessert!

The food is fresh and delightful. They live up to their farm to table ethos. I went two nights in a row because I enjoyed the food, staff and ambience so much. Every staff member from the hostess to waiters and bus personnel were kind and attentive. Shout out to Edgar, Manuel, Lorena, Mano, Luis and Delfino.

Fresh food in a casual outdoor setting. Carlos and Emilio are top notch host and server. The seabass catch of the day was perfect. The tomato gespacho is very tasty with a hint of spiciness. The beet and peach salad offer a splendid combination. The shrimp tasted like lobster and was a large portion. Fig cake was delicate, flaky and scrumptious. We ended up eating here twice and were warmly welcomed back. The second night was cooler and they brought over a propane heater and blankets. They brought afterndinner drinks that tasted similar to a mudslide without the ice- it was so good. Terrific service,.delicious food and a fun patio setting. It's not over looking the beach, but it's still wonderful.

Wow!! We ordered the Picaña and Catch of the Day. The steak was cooked to perfection. Crusty and juicy. The fish was fresh, tender, and flavorful. Alejandro’s service was 200/10!

The service was great, but the food was merely "good". On problem with the outdoor -only seating is that you can get swarmed by bugs. Once the sun went down, the bug issue improved.

This place is ok if it's part of your all-inclusive plan at Villa Del Arco/Palmar... But honestly the service leaves a lot to be desired compared to the other onsite restaurants. The food is very OK but nothing screams a revisit. I would not go through the trouble to try and eat here vs the other places onsite.

Overpriced, mediocre food in small portions considering what you pay. Service not great either, nice people but lacking in service. We only did only appetizers, however, so review is based on that.

Service: Good Food: Ok – was tasty but they overcooked our steak and portion was decent. I could’ve used a few more sides, even if it was just for decoration. Ambiance: Interesting….it’s farm to table but we were in the middle of a plaza in a hotel (didn’t expect this at all) Overall: I’ve been to a few farm to table restaurants and this place just wasn’t what I expected. Paired with decent food, I would probably not return.

Good good Not Bad

The staff was great and really friendly, made it really fun for the kids and had an ongoing joke about ketchup which they loved . The food on the other hand was not great . My wife and I both had the catch of the day and barely choked it down . The cauliflower tasted like baby food and the fish smelled weird. I don’t recommend it at all .

Service was awesome but overall food is just meh. 85.00 for two entrees and one sub par drink. Glad I got groceries at Walmart so I can cook a good dinner back at hotel. I won't be trying any additional places to eat here ever. The service is absolutely outstanding!! Sorry just an honest review from a still hungry person. Tomorrow I will venture outside of the hotel for local cuisine.
