A delightful trattoria in Oltrepò Pavese... home cooking... made with love... from the heart of the two owners, a mother and daughter, who continue an excellent tradition of authentic, locally sourced cuisine. The mixed appetizers with excellent cured meats change with the seasons and the chef's creativity: excellent cured salami with Russian salad, fruity nervetti, and so on. In summer, a beautiful pergola for outdoor dining. First courses include ravioli, tagliatelle with mushrooms, or game. Today, delicious snails. Fantastic homemade desserts. Very fair prices. A guarantee of goodness!

A family-run trattoria, a welcoming place. The menu is varied and homemade, featuring cold cuts, Russian salad, schiacciata, caramelized onions... interesting first courses and second courses that I'll try next time. The desserts are excellent and the price is more than fair.

Sunday, May 8th, Mother's Day. There were three of us, and based on the excellent reviews, I decided to make a reservation at this traditional trattoria. We all ate well, and, importantly, the prices were more affordable than in Milan. If you're out of town, I recommend stopping here. Friendly, family-style service.

Laurem Ipsum

While visiting the beautiful surrounding villages, we found this lovely trattoria. The location is quite isolated, so you can really feel the country air. The food is exquisite: delicious appetizers, excellent first courses, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I also loved that they serve you from trays, which reduces waste and allows you to eat the portions you want. They also take great care of vegetarians' needs. To top it off, the desserts are delicious and the price is excellent. Five stars because I couldn't give them more.

I travelled all throughout Italy mainly to eat food. This place is the REAL DEAL - the real hidden Italian treasure. Course after course of amazing food at an incredibly reasonable price. I can't recommend the atmosphere, people or food of this place high enough.

To say it's fantastic is an understatement...the staff are incredibly friendly, and despite it being always busy, they really care about their customers...from the cured meats to the desserts, each one better than the last...speechless! We'll be back on Easter Monday, but we were lucky to get a spot because they always get booked up.

Excellent old-fashioned trattoria with a family atmosphere, reminiscent of the 1990s. The food isn't pretentious, but it's excellent quality. A great option for special occasions and family afternoons. The price is fair.

A true gem in our way from Milano to Genoa. We spent the night in the area and the owner of the house we rent recommended this place and I’m glad he did. Food was simple but yet tasty, fresh, and comforting. I discovered a mix of starters that were all very tasty. Pastas were excellent. I was not a huge fan of the tarts he had for deserts though, but no frustration since we were quite full after all the good food we had.

Let's continue to dispel taboos! Who said a trattoria with a set menu couldn't offer such a great quality-price ratio that it deserves a mention? Completely zero-mile. The plin pasta and the meat, which is the star dish, are definitely recommended... really, really strong! As for the wine, the menu features small producers from the Oltrepó area, as it should be. Amazed! 😮 Positively, obviously...
