Nice courtyard with sun and shade. We went a few times for breakfast, plenty of choices, and very good coffee. Great uptempo music. In the evenings they have some events like yoga and dance classes.

Great place to make friends every Tuesday they run a cinema night, bring your friends it’s comfortable and the food is worth every peso. I always leave with a smile even as someone who is shy.

I only had french fríes. The atmosphere was fun. We went on movie night and enjoyed the film. The service was great.

El lugar me gustó, los que atienden son muy amables, el ambiente es muy bueno además de bonito, el hecho de que tenga alberca y pueda hacerse uso de ella con un consumo de 100 se me hace Justo. A mi parecer lo único que no me agradó al 100 fue la comida, si no te gusta la sal no te lo recomiendo mucho, por lo menos yo comí la hamburguesa wombat y me pareció salada así como las papas. El smothie estaba 9/10.

Super fun bar! They host language exchange + karaoke every Thursday starting at 6pm. Met a bunch of nice folks here from all over. Super appreciative that I also got to connect with local Oaxaquenxs and learn more about the city. The bartenders are also very friendly and helpful. They also have promos on Thursdays. Came here for their movie night they had advertised on insta and it was AMAZING! On school Mexican film with English subtitles. Excellent service and drink options and they even gave out free popcorn during the film! Unsure how frequently they do their film nights but would recommend this spot for vibes and events

Visiting Wombat Cafe on a Tuesday night with some friends for movie night and it was totally worth it. The movie was impactful and they had multiple screens which made viewing easier depending on where you were seated. They gave up free popcorn and the beer glasses were chilled. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and inviting. The bathrooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, overall an excellent spot for food, drinks and fun!

What a place!!! Big space with a little swimming pool in the middle where you can refresh your feet and recover energies after arriving. Good selection of cocktails, very tasty and delicious micheladas, cold beers, some correct mezcal. Ambiance is one of a kind, karaoke, meetings, art, open minded people to share a wonderful time chatting, dancing, sharing.

What an awesome spot! I just went for drinks on my own late afternoon. I had the best Mezcal cocktail I tried anywhere in Oaxaca and the price (promotion) was incredible! Ask for the agua blanca! Also I had a nice chat with the owner and the girl attending the bar. I feel sad I discovered the place kind of late in my trip and couldn't spent more time there! I didn't try the food and I am not sure if there were many vegetarian options.

Really cheery restaurant/bar/cultural/co-work space. We went for the first time yesterday to see the family Ràices perform. I could not believe that we were finally able to attend a music performance in Oaxaca that was acoustic and didn't make our ears bleed from over-amplification in a small space! Thank you, thank you! There's an attractive bar to sit at and tables as well in an open shaded area. The menu is interesting, mainly salads, tacos, burritos, hamburgers and a few pasta choices. I enjoyed the salad with falafel and the pasta with curry, cilantro and goat cheese was very tasty. Our waitress couldn't have been more personable. Drink prices are already accessible (50 peso glasses of wine) and cocktails are two-for-one Monday to Friday from 3:00 to 6:00. I look forward to returning for Happy Hour and to try their garnachas. Definitely a fun place to spend a hot afternoon and the next time I see in Oaxaca Events that they're showing a film, I'm going. It's located a block west of Pino Suarez and a bit south of El Llano Park. Closed Mondays.

Ojala los dueños del establecimiento puedan leer esto, respecto a cocina todo muy rico, he ido un par de veces por la tarde noche me ha encantado la comida, pero está vez deseo cometar sobre el mesero; muy des atento, ayer le pedimos el menú y solo nos paso de la comida, eso paso como 3 veces en mi mesa, otro punto es que me pedí una limonada, para empezar incipida y todavía el mesero me la retiró cuándo aún tenía la mitad en lo que me paré un momento y regresé ya no estaba, la ocasion pasada que visité Wombat pedimos una michelada y parece bebida infantil con su escarchado de azúcar

Está bien para ir a socializar, tienen diferentes actividades en la semana, dónde puedes ir a practicar algún idioma

It's a fun place that apparently has different stuff going on all the time. I attended some language exchange meetings, and enjoyed them. I thought the music was a bit loud for the necessary talking, but not ridiculous. It's an extremely casual place, and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Wir waren hier essen und etwas trinken. Meine Freundin bestellte ein Burrito. Uns wurde gesagt das diese im Angebot sind, anstatt 80 Pesos 100 Pesos inclusive Getränk (Wein oder Sangria). Da sie kein Alkohol trinken wollte bestellten wir etwas anderes. Es wurde ausdrücklich auch auf Nachfrage gesagt das dass Getränk mit drin ist. Auf der Rechnung standen beide Sachen dann wieder einzeln drauf und somit wurde es wieder teurer. Mein Getränk hat gut geschmeckt. Mein Ciabatta wollte ich nicht scharf, wiederholte dies auch mehrfach. Es kam natürlich ein Ciabatta mit Jalapeño 👎🏻 Man muss dazu sagen, dass wir nur ein paar Brocken spanisch Sprechen. Die Bedienung aber kein Wort, Englisch, Französisch oder Deutsch. Wo es aber darum ging Trinkgeld zu bekommen und ein „Nein“ nicht akzeptierte sondern weiter auf seinem Kartengerät rumdrückt und aufs Handy und ein weiteres „NO“ anscheinend nicht akzeptierte oder dachte wir verstehen es sie nicht. Da konnte man plötzlich das Handy mit dem Googleübersetzer benutzen. Über die Events können wir nichts sagen. Das Salsaevent haben wir nach der bezahlten Rechnung dann ausfallen lassen. Viel Spaß mit dem 20 Pesos Trinkgeld und der dadurch kaputt gemachten Bewertung.

I used to enjoy this place a lot. The drinks are good, the prices are reasonable, and they have a lot of events/activities. However the food is just average. The last couple of times that I've ordered food here it's been different than before. For example the last 2 times that I've ordered an Ensalada César it is only lettuce, tomates, and cheese. The chicken and the crutons were missing both times. But when I ordered it a few months ago it came as listed on the menu, Lettuce, cheese, croutons, and chicken.

I asked the waiter if the tacos came with wheat or corn tortillas because I can't eat wheat. He said corn so I ordered them. I ate two and began to feel ill. I asked one of the staff if the tortillas were wheat and was told they were. Soon after they wanted to give me the check. I was shocked and said as much. A slight argument ensued and the waiter claimed I never asked him about the tortillas. In the end I was not charged or they'd get one star. But it's hours later now and I still don't feel well, so 2 stars feels generous. The food I got was good,.

I was the only one there for 2 hours on a Saturday evening. It was cool at first, but then they cranked the music up so loud I couldn’t hear myself think. Also, someone recommended the place because he said the people are friendly, but though I was surrounded by a bar full of people, no one spoke to me. In fact, I suppose she was the manager, was actually kinda rude. I won’t go back.

If I could do no star I would. The food was awful. The nachos were stale. The cheese cup was hot but the cheese was cold. Almost like they just threw it in the microwave… The burrito was soggy and small more like a taquito. Their jumbo fries weren’t cooked all the way. The potatoes were hard. Never coming back. I’d suggest somewhere else

This is a great place for community, but not for food. The food is pretty bad. We ordered a margarita pizza. How do you mess up a margarita pizza??? It was basically a piece of super thick, doughy bread with no tomato sauce and lots of white cheese that tasted like cream cheese and no basil. The worst pizza I’ve ever had. Most of their promises pertaining to the food are empty. If I do go back I’ll make sure to eat somewhere else first.

I don’t know why this place has five stars. My friends and I all had terrible food. The falafel burger was like a green smooshed paste. My friend that ordered it said it didn’t appear to have any lentils in it. I ordered the four cheese pasta but received the Mediterranean pasta instead. It was a puréed sauce that had a displeasing flavor and immediately left my stomach feeling compromised. Do yourself a favor, choose a different spot.

I've never had a burrito with more soggy cabbage than meat that's falls apart so you have to eat it with a spoon. It was simply gross. Am never coming back here. I was the only customer for dinner, and I can now guess why. Their credit card reader doesn't work either.

El ambiente no es bueno a mi familia y a mi nos tocó ir un día que estuvo una banda de nuestro género favorito y el gerente o dueño que por cierto es extranjero les estaba diciendo que tocaran más suave y muchos clientes más lo notaron y el ambiente se puso muy incómodo y aburrido la verdad la comida tampoco es tan rica y se tardan bastante en pasarte tus alimentos o bebidas
