Dare I tell you, it's a wonderful outing for young and old! Food is excellent, service is exceptional and what a fun place for kiddos to run around on the children's runway play space. Today, we sat and watched numerous planes and helicopters taking off and landing.

I frequently visit this cafe with my coworkers whenever we’re in the mood for delicious burgers at lunch. On workdays, it gets quite busy and there’s often a line, but it moves quickly and efficiently. The menu has a wide variety of appealing lunch and brunch options. I recently tried the Serrano burger with a milkshake—both were great and nicely prepared. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The French fries were also impressive: crispy, well-seasoned, and flavorful. Overall, this is a wonderful spot to share a great meal with family, friends, or colleagues. The interior and outdoor dining areas are consistently clean and well maintained. Staff are always kind, attentive, and eager to help. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Surprising gem of a restaurant. Who would have thought that a cafe at a little provincial airport could be quite so nice! Not me. Food arrived quickly, was hot, tasty and staff were attentive. Prices were a little on the high side, but it was a treat to eat and look at aircraft... I added a couple of extra photos today to include crispy chicken sandwich and a vegetable omelet.

Waypoint is just one of those places that you keep coming back to. As you sit there taking in the surroundings and feeling the cool breeze blowing off the ocean, you can't help but feel like you're on vacation somewhere that isn't in the middle of Camarillo! Service is always excellent and everyone is very friendly. Marcello was our server on this occasion, as well as on past visits, and he is just awesome! Whether you are here for breakfast or lunch, the food is always solid and they also offer good-sized portions. Lines can be long on the weekend and around lunch time during the week, however, it moves pretty quickly and it's worth the wait. Cool vibes inside, with music in the background, & sipping on a cold beer watching helicopters and planes come and go...what more can you ask for :)

Got the daily special, an enchilada breakfast burrito. They ask you to order before they sit you, which dramatically shortens the wait. Fun atmosphere. Pricey, but high quality. I liked sitting outside

Very busy restaurant with expansive indoor & outdoor seating with views of the planes. As a traveler, it was inspiring to eat here because all these planes are going somewhere. The restaurant's method of service is brilliant. There was a line outside because you review the menu when you enter & they take your order at the register immediately, & then they seat you right afterward. Even with as busy as they were, my food was served very quickly after I was seated. I came here looking for breakfast served late (they stop taking orders at 3pm) & that's what I had, so I can't speak to the other food. The breakfast was very good, eggs perfectly cooked, bacon, fruit, & a homemade bisquit. Very efficient place with good service, good food, in a nice atmosphere.

To say the food was great is an understatement, this was absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. They work very quickly to seat you and your party and deliver food so fast I thought it was someone else’s order. This is our family’s new favorite spot to eat and watch airplanes. We will be back for sure.

As we pulled up to the restaurant it looked like a long line outside. It moved quickly. If there's a line you grab a menu and once you get to the front, you place your order. Our omelets were absolutely delicious! The biscuit was huge and wasn't at all dry. It was fun to see the planes and helicopters coming in and out of the airport. We sat outside. The atmosphere was great. We never felt rushed. The service was great and the staff is so friendly.

We had a lovely experience at Waypoint Café! The atmosphere was great—they offer both indoor seating (quiet and cozy) and outdoor seating where you can watch airplanes take off, which was really fun to see. The food was nicely presented and everything we ordered tasted fantastic. We got a kid’s scrambled egg meal that came with fresh fruit and a drink, the Chicken & Biscuits (which the staff told us is a favorite of the “clown” mascot), and the Hawaiian sandwich—juicy grilled chicken with melted cheese, pineapple, and teriyaki sauce, served with seasoned fries. Everything was delicious! The vanilla milkshake came in a chilled glass with a chocolate rim and whipped cream on top—it looked amazing and tasted just as good. Service was outstanding, and even though you order your food before sitting down (which is different than most places), everything ran smoothly. Overall, we were very impressed and would definitely return!

The first time here, I was pleasantly surprise. You literally can sit outdoors and watch the small planes land. The food was delicious. I had chicken and waffles, and the service was excellent.

Cute and clean cafe located at the Camarillo airport. There is a first come, first serve line to enter, but we only waited 25 minutes at peak 10am on a Saturday. It moved quickly. You need to ask for outside seating to get the patio view of the airport. It is really cool to see all the planes taking off and landing. Unfortunately, we asked for outside seating, but they didn't put us in the patio. We were behind the bar area. Still outside, just with a limited view. We didn't mind too much because the food was amazing. Huge portions, definitely worth it! We ordered French toast, waffles, and a farmers' nest daily special. We liked the French toast the most! They do have a temporary upcharge for eggs due to the extreme egg prices at the moment, but that's expected everywhere now. We left full and satisfied, we would come again.

This place has great food, i've been for brunch many times and even dinner when they tried that for a while. The food has always been much better than average.

Location was nice as you could see the planes landing and departing. No full bar but they serve mimosas, beer & micheladas. Most lunch options were $15 - $20. Good portions and fast service. Parking is free and plenty of seating options. Large outdoor patio with lights and heaters.

The restaurant is very nice and we loved watching the planes. The staff are attentive and friendly. They only have one vegan option, so that was extremely disappointing. We would definitely come more often if we had more choices. Bummer It is wheelchair accessible and has free parking. Be prepared to wait during busier times and you also have to pay upfront for your food before being seated.

Not gonna lie the only reason I left a good review is because Grace was awesome she was the only one to come up to our table and greet us. ask us if everything was ok with a huge smile . What a delight to be around. not like those girls at the front taking orders who aren’t welcoming at all but still want a tip . the girl that sat us down I swear felt like she didn’t even want us there . THANK YOU GRACE FOR BEING SUCH A NICE PERSON ! But those girls could learn from Graces great attitude and people skills . :)

Fabulous time going here and well worth it. The views and food are amazing. Service is top notch. BEFORE YOU GO HERE ARE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW. 1. Your entire party needs to be there before ordering 2. You pay and tip before you get seated 3. There’s always a line after 7:30 so be prepared to wait, if you in line have someone go to the front to grab menus so by the time you get the chance to order your ready. 4. Not everyone gets to sit next to the runway, from what Iv seen they like filling up the restaurant, then the outside, then the outer runway seating. 5. there is a lounge outdoor area to order drinks with limited seating. I havnt tried it but I know it’s there. With these things in mind I highly recommend giving it a try at least once. My only grip is that it is a little expensive in my personal opinion. It’s not somewhere I’d go weekend but every once in a while for sure. Staff are awesome and food is great! If this helps give it a like

What a great experience to eat at ' Waypoint Café Camarillo ' !!! Delicious 😋 food 🍔🥪, very delightful varieties of drinks 🍹🍸🥤☕️, their specialty are the shakes mmmm! nice enthusiastic atmosphere 😁 🤗, good costumer service 🤝, friendly people 😊. Breakfast is served all day, they also have a really good variation of 🍔 hamburgers & 🥪 sandwiches....I would have to say everything on the menu is goooood 😅 ! Best part compare to other restaurants it has a nice airplane ✈️ view 🛩 one can sit outside 🛫🛬 & enjoy watching the airplanes coming & going! ! !
